Litttle hole in the wall eatery shop in Homestead, along US1 offering the BEST subs on this side of town. All is fresh made and put together before your eyes. Try "The Bomb" and you will be coming back for sure.

Great fresh subs. Fast friendly service. Love, Love the red pickled hot sauce. I go there 2-3 times a week. Only wish they were open for breakfast. ☺

Is a local treasure. The subs are outstanding loaded with meat they actually weigh it out Stafford super friendly and service is super fast what else could you want from a sub shop I've been eating ever since I was a kid and will continue to do so and even bring my own kids here

I didnt know this sub shop will still open. So glad I found out, because my husband and I went today and it is still amazing. The subs are still the best I ever had hands down!!! You will not be disappointed.

This restaurant serves some good ol' ghetto subs and salads. The vegetables are always fresh. They grill the meat while you wait then add the veggies and cheese. Just be sure you are able to use the restroom afterwards. They sometimes sell cakes and conch salad from outside vendors. They have many drink options.

My review is based on the quality of the sub great taste and their selections are perfect but the place really really needs to be cleaned up it looks dingy and old it's a shame because they are the best subs around.

I love this spot. Amazing subs. Always fresh and great customer service. Owner is always there and really friendly. It's the definition of hole in the wall. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars. Appearance isn't great. Looks pretty runned down. The whole shopping center does quite frankly. Wish they upgraded Their location to have tables to be able to take the family and have a sit-down lunch with that said, don't be discouraged, still great eats!

They staff were really quick and got ur order in a timely manner...we got 2 cold cut subs...drink, and a slice of lemon cake....seems both the cold cut & lemon cake recipe changed...the cold cut only had bologna and salami on it (I remember it having at least 4 different meats on it before) and the cake was much sweeter (before it was balanced)...I wasn't too much satisfied either

Fiancé had me try this restaurant last year while visiting. The food was delicious, but a day later I got really sick from the meat. I haven’t been back because I fear I’ll get sick again. Friendly customer service though.

If they used good meat their subs will be excellent. But the meat has lots of pellejo. Not good when you pay $10 for a sandwich. They started well but the quality of the beef declined a lot.

I come here once in a blue moon for a tasty, filling hot sub... and I come here with tunnel vision, cause the interior is so grungy I can't help but question how bad my hunger pangs really are. Service is nice enough. Definitely a take-out kinda place.

This bony sandwich that has non of the sides I requested while placing my post mates order is sad. I’m sure that they aren’t answering because they know they are wrong. To think that I’ve enjoyed their subs before today’s delivery.

Overrated. Dirty lil hole in the wall. Horrible hours. They open for 2 maybe 3 days a week with the worst customer service. Like how you frustrated and you work 3 days a week making subs and salads? How? Why don’t you people participate with UberEats or DoorDash? So folks don’t have to deal with the poor attitudes. This is why SubPreme down the street is winning.

Worst place to eat at ever..... the owner is disgusting he walks outside and come back in n start cooking without washing his hands or wearing gloves..... prices are high for horrible food and which they barely give any meat on a sub but would rather pile it all with vegetables and charge an arm and a leg for each different vegetable.....

I place an order through door dash 2 times for steak sub. Both times they steak was dry and no cheese on the sub. Steak tastes like ground beef. Worst steak sub I have ever had. Wont be going back.

I can’t lie, probably the worst “sub” I’ve ever had. The buffalo chicken sandwich, was horrible. The chicken had a cheap taste to it. I took 2 bites and threw the rest away. This place makes Subway look gourmet.

Hoagie Bear is usually one of my favorite places to visit for subs, however my last experience was horrible! First off they need to limit the number of people that are allowed at one time inside the establishment, there were 6 people inside when I opened the door. I waited outside and entered when three customers left. The employees had on masks but they were all below their hose. I politely asked the lady that took my order to please pull her mask up, I have never seen such an attitude for a simple safety request. Needless to say, I walked out without a sub. They need to realize that WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC and they need to heed to safety precautions!

I've been to this place many times before but long ago, and everything was great. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak sub today through postmates, I got the bread with mayo lettuce and tomato and the diced meat. No cheese, no onions, no mushrooms. Is that what a philly cheesesteak is nowadays??

First time ever eating there. I spent over $27 on a Philly cheese steak sub and conch salad that wasn’t good and I regret it. was given old meat in the Philly cheese sub that was rubbery and very dry. I should’ve known because instead of the steak being red it was already brown when he started to put on the cooker. In addition the few bites I took I now have bubble guts. I don’t recommend Hoagie Bear Subs and will never go back.

If you want a good sub in this area, go to Broadway—they get it right every time. Their attention to detail and customer service are on point. I’ll never order from Bear’s again.
