Aquarium Restaurant - Opry Mills

We visited this restaurant for a special birthday dinner. The atmosphere was spectacular and very relaxing. The tanks were all so well maintained and healthy which made it a great experience. The food and service were delicious and the only challenge that we encountered was that the shrimp was overcooked with all of the meals. But, we enjoyed dining and had a good experience.

I had the Louisiana Cajun Pasta! Very good!! The atmosphere is pretty awesome. The fish, the Sting Rays and the Shark. I found myself just watching them time and time again. The service was good. We'd go again if we make it back to Nashville

First time there and it was perfect. Very well priced and beautiful scenery. The devil desert was amazing! Highly reccomend

Very good food and a lot of it. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Great atmosphere especially if you like aquariums. It’s inside a Mall Looks like a great steakhouse across from it It is across the street from Opry You can walk to the Opry afterward I would recommend this area, very nice!

Loved it! The food and drinks were wonderful. Atmosphere was amazing and the price was reasonable.

Oh my goodness, this restaurant was wonderful! We were so blessed we could get in. When I called, they said they had no more reservations available, however if we got there by 6 pm, they could get us a table. We waited an hour, which wasn't bad at all. It was definitely worth the wait. The food, service and ambiance was better than we could have imagined. Morgan was our server and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The aquariums within the restaurant were awesome and we were picture taking fools! When visiting Nashville, make sure you add this to your list of must-dos. Strongly recommend making advanced reservations online as you don't want to miss this opportunity.

Food was amazing. I love coming here for the Louisiana Cajun Pasta. And our server, Abraham. Did an amazing job! Refilled our drinks without disrupting anything, did not rush us, added a bit of humor. Everything was spot on! Definitely recommend this place. Including their DELICIOUS DESSERT!

Food and service was wonderful! Our server Rose (Nashville) was quick and super friendly! I loved the Coconut shrimp and my sister has raved all day about the cajan pasta.

The Aquarium Restaurant is an amazing experience. The main tank features an impressive array of fish including Rays and Sawfish. The Service was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered a Captain's Seafood Platter. I would definitely recommend this place for the phenomenal food and for the Aquarium.

Rose, our server, was absolutely amazing. We had been in town for the week and the price was definitely worth the food plus the service we received. We were checked on regularly, our drinks were never empty, she made helpful suggestions, and she had that good ole southern style waitress attitude that makes you feel like family. Will definitely be coming back in the future. They also offer military discount!

The restaurant is amazing, we out our phones down majority of the time to admire all the fish. The food was pretty great, the portion was huge and the flavor was spot on. We had Cruz as a server and he was 10/10 super friendly and enthusiastic!

We had such a great experience dining here! Our server was Abraham and he was amazing and very attentive. I had the salmon but topped it was ponchatrain sauce and it was really good!

We really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was just okay, but the coolness factor rates it 5 stars. We are big fans of aquariums, though. The Pomegranate Kiss specialty drink was excellent!

The Atmosphere,Service, and food were excellent!! If I wasn’t from North Carolina I would come EVERYDAY! My grandmother enjoyed her birthday. My first day in Nashville Tennessee I said the people are so nice here and Abraham proved my point exactly.

Our waiter Cylon was amazing he did miss refilling my husband tea. But the restraunt was slammed. Would make reservation on weekends. We did have an hour wait but way worth it to me. When asked for the manager to tell about our wonderful experience. It didnt take long. Unfortantly I didnt get his name. He was so information. Would have loved to know before we left about the barcode to know about the fishes that where swimming.

Absolutely loved our experience here! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The food was outstanding—from the vibrant, flavorful seafood dish with jumbo shrimp and mango salsa to the creamy chicken Alfredo that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Even the kids’ meals were a hit (mac & cheese and burgers gone in minutes)! The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully plated. What really made the night special was the atmosphere—like dining under the sea! The glowing blue lighting and ocean-themed decor kept the kids mesmerized and made the whole meal feel like an adventure. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place for families or anyone wanting great food in a fun and immersive setting. Can’t wait to come back! 🐠🍤🍝

The restaurant is absolutely a treat to visit! The aquariums look well maintained and the fish are beautiful! The fish lights hanging from the ceiling are a beautiful touch. The booths are nice and comfy! We were seated in a timely manner. The waiter Nathan was pretty busy when we arrive, but he told us he would be right with us. He was very good with his time management as I did watch him take care of each table he was over. He was very polite and told us about the special and made sure to give us enough time with our orders. He checked on us just enough while we ate. The food could definitely use some better presentation, and more seasoning. The overall experience was one that we did enjoy!

Had a reservation at 4:15pm and was a few minutes early. They didn't have a table ready which is understandable because they stay pretty packed. You cannot beat the atmosphere as far as ambiance goes. Server was rushed, forgot things, and left us unattended but again, it was understandable. The wait for our food was looooong. I got a watermelon lit with the souvenir cup, they were sold out of the one I wanted and all but 2 but the cup I got instead was a delightful gift! I did have to ask for more watermelon syrup because holy LIQOUR! LOL. The bartender did NOT hold back 🥰🥰🥰🥰. Props to you, barkeep! Definitely worth the price. The photographer was so sweet and kind. The food came out hot, and delicious (Southwest Grilled Chicken pasta) and my watermelon shrimp was delicious (cold). Definitely worth a stop in at Opry Mills Mall for a great meal.

Very cool experience, but reservations are a must — and they are serious about timing. You only get about a 15-minute grace period, so arrive early. The highlight is definitely the ambiance. Walking through the tunnel when you arrive is awesome, and dining while surrounded by fish is a unique experience. You can also walk around and enjoy the aquarium, which is fun. The food was decent. This is definitely a place you go for the experience rather than the food. Overall, a fun and memorable stop, especially for first-timers in Nashville.

This was me and my family’s first time visiting the Aquarium restaurant in Nashville and we really enjoyed it. The aquarium was huge and had various types of fish, stingrays, and even sharks! The tank was well maintained. I ordered the Bayou City Étouffée and it was a tasty meal. It was also affordable for the portion. Our server was okay, however our food did take a bit to be prepared. All in all, great experience!

Such a fun and unique experience! From the moment you walk in, the massive floor-to-ceiling aquarium sets the tone--it feels like you're dining under the sea. The atmosphere is both relaxing and exciting, with colorful fish swimming by as you eat. The food was delicious and well presented. Our entrees were fresh, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful with recommendations. Great dining experience. They have a small store too.

This is definitely a unique eating experience. The aquarium is bigger than I was expecting and they stock a nice variety of fish. I appreciate the hostess sitting us close to the aquarium because this was a surprise lunch for my kid. Also the waitress was really nice and gave great food recommendations. I tried the Parmesan chicken and shrimp pasta and enjoyed it. It's expensive but definitely still a nice restaurant to visit, maybe for a special occasion.

We loved the aquarium in the restaurant, so fun to all the fish. Our server Gerson, was so sweet. Got our drinks and food quickly and when my son said he lost a lego he walked around with a light looking around and under tables.

We didn't stop for food but got drinks and dessert at the bar. The drinks were alright, kind of weak, both with alcohol and were overall unimpressive. The desserts, cheesecake and creme brulee, were delicious and I would recommend. Would recommend, especially if you want a cool atmosphere with cool fishies.

ive never eaten at a place like this before, it was a great first experience. I ate the platter with gator and quesadillas and shrimp. It was pretty good, just basic fried food. Wife's steak was just ok. It was really cool to be in a themed restaurant like this i wish there were more throughout the country.

Really cool aquarium, waiting 90 mins for a table, running out of food and super slow service takes away from the atmosphere. Food was just ok, drinks ok. Server was super nice and did her best to make it a great experience but she was overwhelmed.

I recently visited the Aquarium Restaurant and it was very nice to see so many different kinds of fish. The aquariums were well-maintained and everything looked clean and organized. Overall, the food was good—not bad at all. However, the service was a bit disappointing and could definitely be improved. They had complementary pictures taken and that was amazing including the guy that took them was so nice.

Saturday afternoon it was busy. We waited about 30 minutes for a table but go to do a little windows shopping. Food wasn't that bad. The large aquarium in the middle of the restaurant was the best seller with all different kind of fish.

This restaurant is purely for the aesthetic, the aquarium feature is nice but it took so long to get a table and even longer for someone to come and take our order. The food and drinks were ok, their to go containers are so flimsy and end up leaking everywhere. They need to improve their service.

Reservations are not required but HIGHLY recommended. We had a reservation and still had to wait after that time for a table. Alcohol selection is poor so we just ordered water. Food is WAY overpriced. The aquariums are awesome and the atmosphere was great. The waitress was not friendly and the food was mediocre at best. We ordered Cajun pasta and the crawfish was VERY fishy. The sausage was sliced so thin and didn’t taste of good quality. Overall super disappointed in the food. The waitress didn’t keep our drinks filled up. The kids meal portions were very small. This was definitely a one time thing. We wouldn’t go back.

very unique restaurant. went with family for a birthday dinner. got the cajun combo platter and calamari appetizer. jacqueline was our server and took good care of us. we unfortunately missed the mermaid show but thank you for the dining experience!

I recently dined at the Aquarium Restaurant at Opry Mills, and overall it was a very good experience. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is unique and enjoyable, especially for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. However, I was disappointed to see an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. While I appreciate good service, I believe tipping should remain at the customer’s discretion. Especially on occasions where you’re already spending extra to treat someone special, it would be nice to have the flexibility to decide the tip amount. That said, the quality of the food and service was very good but them charging what they want for the tip is not right!

I really like this restaurant, the food was really good. I had the crusted salmon < amazing taste and seasoning> My son had the jambalaya , the shrimp was some of the best I have ever had. The unfortunate thing is I used gift cards which caused major issues. Our waitress, who wasn't that attentive nor that friendly, took my 4 gift cards that I had to pay for my meal. She brought back two, each worth 25.00, my meal was 60.00 so she brought one card that had 25.00 on it still and the other card which should of had almost 15.00 on it. I didn't check because I assumed she was being honest and gave me my cards back I should of. I had a feeling though after I signed my check, so I didn't leave a tip until I knew if my cards were right. I just paid amount due. Then had somebody run my cards, she did keep my card that had a balance on it. So, I went back and the manager? or team leader not sure took my card to check it, then came back initially being argumentative, saying waitress thought I tipped her that amount on card, I said how could she think that if I didn't write that on check? Also, he was defending her and making me feel like a liar, while I was explaining to him. He went on to say they are told to throw cards with 0 balance on them to throw away, well if she thought I was going to tip her with card remaining balance why did she still bring me two cards out???? It wasn't on accident, he did say at one point she accidentally threw them away and he wouldn't be able to get them out of trash. Well, the card he brought back to me was the card I should have gotten. . he said he "fixed " it but he really just got the card from the waitress that kept it, he didn't fix anything. What should have happened is he should of came out apologized right off the bat and said we will fix and not argue with me and make me feel like a liar that I left that as a tip. 15.00 tip for being a terrible waitress...right? This incident ruined my entire experience.

$25 for 7 fried shrimp is a bit much. Even more appalling when they come out cold, and the texture of frozen cocktail shrimp— that chewiness. Mashed potatoes also don’t list that they have skins and a Parmesan or garlic flavor. Not exactly kid friendly and should be stated on the kids menu.

Don't be fooled by the cool esthetics because what you receive is mediocre food and service. The hostess staff was not very warm and welcoming. We were seated right away shortly after they opened. Our server was pre-occupied with a large party of about 15 people and we were an after thought. After sitting for a while the server finally stopped and said he would be with us shortly. He came and took the drink order and we ordered food as well. About 15 minutes later the food arrived and I was disappointed because it appeared like a kids meal. The server never came back to check on us. I was able to get the servers attention long enough to ask for the check and what a surprise it was, $25 for 6 shrimp and fries. Not worth money and I left hungry.

Could not complete a simple order. Mine and my wife’s food came out cold and completely inedible. My child’s meal was incorrectly made, when I brought this issue up to the server there was no apology. Only attitude setting “ well I put it in correctly that one is on the kitchen” like seriously!! Poor service such a sad experience for a great atmosphere for a restaurant. Basics 101 states apology and offer to fix the issue, not throw blame around. Get it fixed guys.
