Great Detroit style pizza, quality ingredients that's paired with a great dough makes it taste amazing! Friendly staff as well makes it impossible not to give 5 stars. Wish I lived nearby so i could visit again

To preface this, I’ve never had Detroit style pizza. But I can tell you after eating here that I’ve been missing out. This restaurant provided a laid back and welcoming environment for a quick lunch on a holiday weekend. Service was quick with easy ordering. Some pizza shops do not allow you to do half toppings, but they were able to accommodate my picky self. This was super helpful because my partner and I were able to share the pizza and reduce food waste. The pizza came out fresh and crispy. Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten.

Where to start…what to say…I’m honestly almost speechless. I can’t possibly put in to words how good the food is here. It’s absolutely magical, there is so much attention to detail, they care about it all, every unbelievably delicious bite was better than the last and it just makes you want to keep eating. I could barely choose what pizza I wanted to try because all of them sounded so good, but one thing I did know was I HAD to try the award winning burger. It’s been on my list for the longest time and I was finally in the area and it was my time! This is how food should be done. I hope to be able to go back soon. You have to go here. They have rooftop seating too so make sure to ask about that. Just a fantastic little place. Dang!

Amazing food! We’ve been to Emily in NYC and made reservations from Emmy as soon as we knew we were going to Nashville. Every.Single.Thing we’ve had here is amazing. The Brussels sprouts salad is so delicious, even though it doesn’t necessarily sound good… it’s beyond good! The pesto breadsticks are delicious little pieces of garlicky, cheesy, pesto deliciousness. The Zia fries were everything that we were hoping them to be (we planned our meal before getting there)!! The pizza with burrata… amazing, and just spicy enough. So good! This was plenty of food for four, but I wish we would have had room for the burger! We celebrated our daughter’s 21 on this trip and they were so celebratory at Emmy, thank you!! We will be back, we love this chain so much!!!

Had a great experience! We had a great waiter named Peyton who’s was super attentive and all around great vibe! Super personable and lots of fun to talk to! Thank you so much for incredible food and wonderful convos!

Great Brunch! From breakfast to pizza. The pretzel bun is soft and delicious. Our food was super! Service was great. Ambiance was perfect. We have eaten here before. We are happy to have made it back again. Love this place!

A little bit tight inside especially with the bar stools being so close to the stand alone tables… however, the PIZZA was amazing! Omg. Best deep dish I’ve had in a while. Our server was a little nervous but he did great!

My wife found this place on a social media page and thought the fries and a pizza looked good. I agreed so since we were out and they were open for dine in, we stopped by. Besides having it to ourselves, the rooftop was nice and came with big umbrellas. The waiter was nice and we ordered that pizza and fries we saw and I will say they both lived up to the hype. The fries had great flavor accompanied with a nice crunch. The pizza was really good also, the honey on the pepperoni on the Detroit style crust was nice. They do add a lot of jalapenos so be careful. Would visit again for sure.

I have known about Emmy in NY for a while and was beyond excited when I found out they were opening in Nashville. We were just fortunate enough to get a table on opening night and I have to say, even with my high expectations, the entire meal was beyond anything I could have ever expected. The pizza was absolutely top notch and the burger was hands down the best we have ever had. We got the margherita pizza and the angel white pizza. On the margherita, the sauce was great and the burrata was a nice change form the typical fresh mozzarella. The white pizza was just an explosion of flavor with the cheese, mushrooms, and truffle. On both, the crust was perfect - crunchy at the edges and chewy on the inside. Everyone on the staff was great as well. Sarah was super nice and helpful with picking out what to eat. Again, best meal in a long long time. This place will soon be known as the best pizzeria and one of the top restaurants in Nashville.

Work group decided to give this place a try. We were all happy with the flavorful quality of our selections. Items are a bit pricey for a workplace outing but you don't think that after tasting. A party of 7 took 30 mins to serve and they have a max capacity of 45. Very hard to work in a 1 hour lunch. While the pizza plates look like a Jets pizza, they taste much better and I really enjoyed their crust as much as the toppings. I had the Roni Supreme red pizza with added chorizo and loved it. Especially the spicy flare it had.

Small, intimate place with good service. Our deep dish pizza was delish but yeah, my favorite thing was the waffle fries. They were super thick, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and topped with a whole bunch of yumminess!

The pizza is always good here, and I love the colony squared. The loaded fries are my favorite and love how crisp they stay and how much you get. I got the chicken parm sandwich this time but will definitely not order it next time. It's not good at all.

I had a super strange request for a delivery for my bf and I called to see if it would be ok to do. Not only was it ok, but the woman who answered the phone was so personable and kind (wish I would’ve gotten her name. It was on 12/20 around 5pm and she is the best!!!!!) I will keep ordering from here for all of my pizza needs. The absolute best staff and pizza in Nashville!

We had a large group so we ordered for the table, couple of salads and a lot of pizza. The salad was recommended by a friend and it was good, just not to the level it was recommended at, but the pizza..... The pizza was fantastic, with three different kinds each one was delicious and I'd probably have to go back to try some of the others before I could pick a favorite.

We haven’t even tried the pizza at this point, but the customer service is unmatched. We ordered through door dash and the driver dropped off the condiments with no pizza 😑. We decided to go to the restaurant, however, they were having a private event so there was no dine in. The manager Austin took care of us. He was able to cancel the pizza order that we never got before we decide to go in person and when we came in he did everything he could to make our experience better! I just know this place if a well oiled machine based on the manager and how he treats customers. I would highly recommend this place because I know they’ll do anything to make sure your experience is great! I will say the pizza looks and smells amazing!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! This is just what I needed after being cooped, up after a few days of snow/ice.. Sommer, was very helpful and friendly, offering some of her favorites off the menu.. would highly recommend to others.. Great pizza place.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and every single time I get the BEST experience. A couple of the times we’ve been we’ve had Melissa and she’s always great. You can tell she cares about her job and I love the continuity of the staff. Makes it feel more like home which is why this location is one of our favorites

Traveling through tired and hungry . What could have been a very cranky family disaster turned into a pleasant experience. Food was great! Server named Justin was pleasant and brought everything out in a timely fashion. this tired family felt a whole lot better with delicious food and a fun personable server. Brittany is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve had. She was personable, fast, and made my whole experience amazing. The award-winning Le Big Matt burger is a must-try. Perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and absolutely deserving of the recognition it gets. This place is a gem. Will definitely come back to see Brittany since she made my experience that good.

We stopped in for dinner at Emmy Squared Pizza in The Gulch on a Friday night and are still dreaming about that pizza! It’s a small, intimate spot with a super friendly vibe. Our server Brittany was amazing very sweet and our drinks was never empty! 5 out 5 stars for service.

Had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, but most of all my server (I think his name was Justin) was extremely efficient and polite and kind. He made me feel like coming back to eat there again if he can be my server again.

Came in for dinner and have to come on here to rave about the food. My husband and I shared the founders (who doesn’t love a little sweet salty and spicy?) 10/10 would get again. Also, the service was exceptional. Melissa was so pleasant. She pointed out the Brussels sprout salad came back to the menu and how we needed to try it. I was sceptical, but wow, I think I found a new favorite. Everyone needs to try it!

If you go to Emmy’s Squared in The Gulch, ask for Justin. Seriously. Do not leave it up to chance. From the second we sat down, Justin turned lunch into an experience. Not just “good service.” Not just “attentive.” I’m talking concierge-level hospitality with the energy of someone who genuinely loves what he does. He knew the menu inside and out, gave perfect recommendations, and somehow timed everything flawlessly. Drinks never sat empty. Food hit the table at exactly the right pace. He anticipated what we needed before we even asked. It felt effortless, but you could tell it was intentional. Justin didn’t just take our order. He elevated the entire night. Engaging without being intrusive, funny without being over the top, and professional while still making it feel like we were regulars. In a city full of great restaurants, service like this is what makes you come back. Justin is the kind of person who makes you say, “That was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Nashville.” If Emmy’s Squared is smart, they’re building the future of the restaurant around people like him. 10 out of 10. No notes. Absolute legend.

Absolutely Outstanding! This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. The pizza is incredible — perfectly baked crust, rich sauce, and loaded with fresh toppings. You can really taste the quality in every bite. But what surprised me most were the burgers and wings. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right — easily some of the best around. And the wings? Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and tossed in sauces that are spot on (the buffalo and garlic parmesan are my personal favorites). The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming — great for both a casual lunch or a night out with friends. Whether you’re craving pizza, a great burger, or some killer wings, this restaurant truly delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend giving it a try — you won’t be disappointed!

Super amazing gf pizza. I honestly had to second guess myself it was gf based on how good it was. Service was kinda slow but I had read a lot of reviews about that so I was prepared with my book. Great atmosphere, waitress was attentive. Would absolutely go back.

I took my family here when they came from out of town! The food and drinks were incredible, as well the atmosphere as a whole. Brittany took amazing care of us and also gave good drink recommendations ! Can’t wait to come back!

We came in on a Friday night without a reservation and were seated outside upstairs on the terrace, but that’s cool. We shared the MVP VIP pizza and a side of waffle fries and some of their Pinot Grigi between 2. Given the stair climb up I’m truly impressed at our server navigating it, it’s a challenge and she smashed it! The pizza was absolutely amazing and incredibly tasty, I’d highly recommend this place for Detroit style pizza. Due to being on the terrace, there was almost no one else sitting outside and there was also no background music, this lended to a less than optimal atmosphere. Despite this, the food quality and service were fantastic and if you love pizza, You’ll love this place.

The food taste was amazing. The pizza was cooked exactly how we asked, the flavors were great and the appetizer of bread sticks were delicious. My only complaint was the service, when we arrived there were 3 tables occupied, and everything else was empty (we ate early). We asked to sit in at a different open table and was rudely told no, it had a reservation. By the time we left, the table wasn't seated, nor were most of the tables. There was no reason for it. Also our waitress and most of the staff (except the manager) just didn't have a great attitude and weren't friendly. So if you can see past some rude service, pizza is great.

I really wanted to give a 5 star for the tastiest juiciest pizza that they served. But I found a cockroach type insect on my plate when I picked the tissue up. It was so scary and disgusting that I got up from my chair. Make sure you check before you sit and take care of the hygiene. They did immediately change the plate but it felt so bad. But later the pizza arrived and was very tasty, but quite oily. We went on a Saturday afternoon and didn’t had to wait for a seat. The MVP pizza was delicious, with pesto sauce on top, great vegetarian options to choose from.

I guess my expectations were a little higher based on their Instagram page. We ordered the chopped cheese waffle fries and the Bad Paulie for our pizza and a Diskin Cider “Bob’s your uncle”. I enjoyed the waffle fries better than the pizza. They were really good and unlike anything I’ve ever had. My partner did not care for the pizza. She said way overpriced and not much flavor, very thin layer of toppings, and mostly crust, but specifically where’s the sauce??? My one complaint about the pizza was the grease. Dripping in grease… Room temp water, which I am not a fan of - I enjoy ice when drinking water. Neither of us were a fan of the cider in the slightest. Small restaurant or at least the part we were seated in, almost closterphobic. Casual wait staff. Nothing extraordinary.

Got delivery. It was quick but the pizza was soggy and the tomato sauce is very acidic. Mozzarella sticks were very good. Overall not worth the price. I’ve had the original Detroit style pizza in Detroit and this is not it. Jetz is a better representation of Detroit style pizza although not 100% accurate.

The food was great but the service was really odd? We got ignored for 90% of the time, no one ever brought us the check so we had to flag down someone after quite a long time. No one asked if we needed anything. We also were charged so much extra money for sauces and our waiter didn't warn us of that when he offered the sauces; he made it seem like it was just an option included in the menu item. And then of course we never saw him again to clarify; he completely ignored us for the rest of our visit. Overall really yummy food but such a strange experience, especially since the restaurant was essentially empty and a lot of the servers were truly just standing at the bar talking to each other.
