We had an awesome meal here! The service was impeccable. Multiple employees checked on us to make sure we had a great experience. The food was all delicious. The pork belly, Brussels sprouts, pappardelle in a white bolognese, mufaldine with rabbit were amazing! If possible make reservations in advance.

Evelyn’s delivered great service from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the visit feel relaxed and easy. I ordered the burnt ends hash, and it was excellent — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Easily one of the standout dishes of the meal. Overall, Evelyn’s is a spot I’d happily return to for both the food and the welcoming vibe.

Amazing food and service!!!! Wow! Really impressed and I go out to eat a lot in Nashville. They went all out with the valentines pre fixe menu - the wagu beef was incredible and the lobster ravioli was very good. It’s a little hidden gem!

This was my first visit to Evelyn’s and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Guava Me Tender as a mocktail and it was delicious. For an appetizer, I had the brussel sprouts. It was a very generous portion size that is able to be shared. For my entree, I had the ravioli, which was pretty good. The portion size was on the smaller side. With its the brussel sprouts, I would have likely still been hungry, but this did not take away from my experience at the restaurant whatsoever. My waitress, Maddy, was also super helpful in assisting me to catch a show in the hotel after dinner.

The food here is impeccable. They offer mimosa flights and amazing cocktails. The whipped cream on the French toast had a lemon flavor and it was delicious. The potatoes were crisp. The biscuits were out of this world especially with the homemade jam. A beautiful environment with great photo opportunities.

Brunch has finally been elevated with exciting choices on the menu. Pappardelle pasta? Yes. Avocado Toast. ricotta Toast. Polenta with eggs. Sourdough Pancakes. It is inside the 4 store luxury hotel, The Hutton where service is a step above most other hotels.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast while in Nashville and … WOW! It was BY FAR, the best breakfast we have had in a while. I got the Croissant Benedict and my husband got Burnt Ends Brisket Hash. The flavor was incredible, the presentation was impressive and the service was top notch. If you’re ever in the area, this place is an absolute MUST. Don’t pass it up!

Lovely brunch area inside the Hutton. Quiet despite high ceilings, which made talking easy. Food was beautifully served and tasted delightful. Do not be discouraged by my picture.. I prefer my eggs with a bit of browning and they did an amazing job.

Fantastic wait staff and hostess! Marcell was our waiter and he went above and beyond for a birthday! We all enjoyed our food and drinks here, we had zero complaints on the food. My only critique I have is regarding ordering the biscuits, please have all wait staff inform your customers of the extended wait time of the biscuits. They are an appetizer item as it's handmade per order (they were worth the wait) and people are usually expecting a fast turn around on appetizers.

Visited Evelyn’s over Easter weekend with my sister. Our experience was marvelous. Ambiance top notch and aesthetically pleasing. Our waiter Will was attentive and helpful with everything we asked. If there were mistakes they were corrected expeditiously. Thank you Will! I recommend the steak and eggs for breakfast. My compliments to the chef! It tasted as if the meat had been marinated for a while, on top of the delicious chimichurri sauce along with the soft yolkiness of the eggs. Absolutely divine! As it was our first time we didn’t know the parking situation. But they have valet and will validate your parking.

Came here on a whim since the restaurant nearby I wanted to visit was closed. Evelyn’s upon entrance smelled of Jasmine and violets and had peaceful music playing with a great dim lit ambiance. Bartender was pleasant and prompt. My cosmo was amazing. I got scallops for my first time and some biscuits and it was fantastic. Will be back as a Nashville native!! 10/10

It’s rare for me to enjoy everything about a restaurant — I’m a very picky eater, especially as a vegetarian. I had low expectations for Evelyn’s, given its American cuisine, but they truly exceeded them. The vegetarian options go far beyond the usual fries and Brussels sprouts — they’re creative, flavorful, and elevated. Highlights included the Confit Potatoes on a red pepper sauce (perfectly cooked and full of flavor), the Shishito Peppers (non-spicy, lightly cooked, and a hit with everyone at the table), and the Bread Pudding, which is an absolute must-try. The chef’s creativity really impressed me. Ambiance: I dined with five strangers for a conversation-focused event, and the setting was perfect — quiet, classy, and subtly romantic, with soft music and a sophisticated vibe. Service: 10/10. The staff was friendly, attentive, and guided us through the menu. A sweet touch: everyone gets a blank postcard as a keepsake at the end. Parking: Valet is available via the hotel, but self-parking is easy, and the restaurant validates for two hours. Overall, Evelyn’s offers a truly worthwhile dining experience — thoughtful food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

High quality food. I had the avocado toast (they were kind enough to adapt it to vegan). Expedite service. Good coffee. Prices are fair.

3/27&29/2024. On my first visit I had Ms. Kiara & the second visit was Ms. Rovina as our Server's. I can't began to tell you how nice & respectful these ladies are. Let's not forget about the Chefs. They know the menu well & treated us with smiles & respect each time. The menu for brunch & breakfast was just awesome. This is a very cozy friendly spot. I don't usually drink restaurant water, but the water tasted clean & our glasses were crystal clear. The place is clean, very friendly nice atmosphere, food was awesome & the Servers were just awesome as well. We will definitely be back because of the service we received & the food was so worth the price.

Evelyn’s is tucked inside the Hutton Hotel in the West End area of Nashville. The menu is small but everything we tried was delicious and presented beautifully. The service was fantastic and having valet at the hotel made it easy to get in and out. My sparkling rose cocktail was delicious. The wedge salad was crisp and large, you could have added a protein and made that your meal. These were our favorites… the jalapeño cornbread, bacon wrapped sea bass and the very best was the sweet potato ravioli - amazing! We finished with a build your own sundae - We will go back.

I am in love with Evelyn’s! It’s definitely a hidden gem. I had never even heard of it but now I’ll definitely be going there atleast monthly. The entire staff was amazing! Our server Lindsey was very knowledgeable about the menu and she was super kind and friendly. The manager, a black guy was super awesome too. I was walking around looking for a place to plug up ny phone and he offered to plug it up for me at the host stand. He also checked on us several times throughout the night. The food was anazingggggg!! And it was so reasonably priced. I had the oven roasted chicken. It was super tender and juicy. It came with potatoes and asparagus that were also delicious. My friend had scallops. I didn’t try the scallops but the risotto that it came on top of was life changing! That was the best risotto I ever had in my life. I had dreams about that risotto. It was soo creamy and good. My other friend had sea bass and it was delicious as well. I plan on going back and getting the sea bass on top of the risotto. The cocktails were great! I had the “glamor girl” and the “train to no where.” They were both strong and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience and this might be my new favorite restaurant in Nashville. I feel like usually this quality of food costs like $50-60 just for the entree and then you have to purchase sides for an additional costs. All our entrees were between $28-$35 and they came with some type of side. The ambiance was great. It was cute. I can’t wait to go back!!

My wife and I usually do late brunch on Saturdays. We found this place on social media so we decided to give it a try. We got here around 12 pm, while the restaurant’s brunch was going to end at 1 pm. The place was not too busy when we got a table right away. - Scarlet Spritz: classic cocktail. Pretty refreshing. - Apple Tart: this one is amazing. Freshly baked, crumble texture with warm apple filling. Coupled with some butter and strawberry jam, it was one of best apple tarts I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. - Evelyn’s Benedict: great dish. The egg was cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was flavorful. The fried tomatoes hash brown was an excellent choice too. All-in-all, good brunch spot. Their dinner menu looks pretty good too, so we definite come back for more.

I went to Evelyn's expecting a nice meal, and I was blown away by how good the food was!! I had the scallops, and my partner got the Braised Short Ribs—both dishes were incredibly tender and full of flavor! 🤤 When we arrived, there was no host at the stand, so we had to ask the bartender for help. It wasn’t a big deal, but a bit unconventional. They got a server to seat us and take our drink orders until our actual server arrived. Service was slow at first, but once our order was in, the food came out quickly and was served hot. We were seated in a comfy booth, and while there are indoor/outdoor seating options near the sliding doors, the booth was perfect. The parking situation was easy to navigate, and valet is available, though we didn’t use it. Overall, great food, a comfy atmosphere, and solid service. I’d definitely go back!

A friend and I a great experience here for Thanksgiving yesterday. The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent and so was the atmosphere. Thanks to Josh, our server, for excellent service and for packing up the leftovers so my friend could take it home. Jonathan, the Director of Operations, even came over and made sure we were well cared for. I loved that valet parking was complimentary since we left within 2 hours of arriving. You don't find that in many places in Nashville anymore. I will be back!

We stopped in for brunch a few weeks ago on Sunday and had a lovely break on our drive across country. The food was excellent, the staff was warm, the atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and there were great vegetarian options as well. I wish we could have seen it at night ! Looking forward to stopping in next time we’re in Nash

oh my GOSH!!! this place is such a gem! my boyfriend and i loved everything about this place. we saw a post on reddit about the s'mores cheesecake and just had to go! the drinks: 10/10 the corn riblets with brown sugar butter: 10/10 the entrees??? yummyyy 10/10 specifically the scallops but that short rib. yes yes and yes. and the dessert?? heavenly. absolute gold. 12/10 but the best part of it was the service. SHAKARI was amazing!! her spirit was so fun and lively. she was so knowledgeable and kind to us and i literally felt like we were her only table (we werent) she was so on top of it even during prime dinner time on a friday night. i get anxious ordering at restaurants and she made it so easy for me. loved her so so much. she did EVERYTHING right! 💫💜 we got so lucky getting her as our waitress and obviously the rest of the staff assisting in dinner service was phenomenal. :))

Amazing breakfast spot, and considering it's in a hotel, very reasonable prices. Hostess was lazy (at best) and didn't create a good first impression ("Hi, we'd like a table for four?" "Ok"). But table service was great. The burnt ends hash was incredible, and so was the sour dough toast. Simple things but... The only other concern, though slight, was that my egg was overcooked, and didn't quite get the runny hash that I was hoping for.

Loveeeeeee-loved everything about this hidden gem. This restaurant is located inside the Hutton hotel-there is some type of construction going on outside so it kind of makes it hard to find from the main street. You need to actually use the Hutton hotels main entrance. The hostess was wonderful-we had reservations for 5. The ambiance is very nice. The food was superb. Our server was the absolute sweetest. Don't skip out on this wonderful restaurant.

we swooned over the delightful ambience at Evelyn’s; decorated mindfully with neutral tufted booths, sturdy wooden chestnut tables and accents of lush greenery. the first thing I noticed was the cherry red menus that included a variety of interesting cocktails with summer fruits, florals and bitters. There was something for everyone in that menu, from the girliest of palettes to a strong negroni. I went with a violette drink, Glamour Girl and the most decadent tuna tartare. Loved seeing renditions of southern flair like the buttered cornbread, savory short ribs and roast chicken on the menu. Our server, Mary, was super attentive and only added on to our lovely evening with friends. we topped off our stay with the most creamiest & perfectly chocolatey pot the creme. ten out of ten recommend ordering that one for dessert!! I can’t wait to return to Nashville for a magical evening at Evelyn’s.

Everything was top notch. Superb cocktails, appetizers, entrees and sides! Great spot for a date night or to catch up with friends or just to grab cocktails!

Really enjoyed the food. I had the lobster bolognese and jalapeño cornbread. The Glamour Girl cocktail was perfect. The ambiance is dimly light (I went for dinner) and makes for a nice date night mood.

I had the lobster bolognese… 10/10. The only thing I would change is to ask for bread to go with it. The ambiance is beautiful. My bartenders Josh and Casey were PHENOMENAL. I ordered off menu drinks and they made sure to get them absolutely perfect. I will defiantly be back to try the crab cake, roasted chicken, and shrimp and corn bisque.

Evelyn’s was fantastic! Easy parking plus free is always a nice bonus around Nashville. The walk through the attached hotel was very nice with plenty to look at along the way. Food was quite phenomenal, I had the Braised Short rib which was fall apart and melt in your mouth good. It was paired well with the whipped potatoes and roasted paranips. For deseert I had the warm date cake which was a great end to the night. Very fresh tasting, moist, and fed my sweet tooth.

We had an incredible experience at Evelyn’s in Nashville! The food was absolutely outstanding and one of the best burgers I’ve had, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Breakfast was equally impressive, fresh and delicious in every bite. The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting ambiance, is impeccably clean, and feels both comfortable and classy. Service was top-notch from start to finish. Our server, Lindsey B, was perfect — attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and spot-on with her recommendations. She made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or just craving a truly great burger, Evelyn’s is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing treat hidden in the heart of Nashville! I was greeted at the door by Allen, a dapper and professional gentleman who was unhurried and friendly. He took me to meet Bryce who took the time to find the perfect table for a private breakfast after giving me a lovely tour of Evelyns (which was so elegant and tastefully decorated) Then we met Jerod who was personable and informative. He easily engaged and took such good care of us during our extended brunch. I would highly recommend this rather private feeling place that offers a beautiful menu

Once again we had a delicious meal at Evelyn’s. Food was great. Shared plates have ample portions for sharing. Seating is comfortable and the restaurant has a love ambience. Best of all, you can hear each other talk. Background music is lovely and not overwhelming. Highly recommend. This has become a favorite place for me to catch up with my sons for a family dinner.

Steven was amazing. We had the best birthday celebration with him as our server. We will definitely be back. Great place for a big group , and celebrations. Even the staff in the front hosting were so welcoming. Highly recommend.

Awesome. The manager Casey is a good guy and talked with us about our meal and made sure we were happy. We had a great thanksgiving here. The steak I had was great as was everything else we ordered. Huge portions. I’ll be back.

Located inside The Hutton Hotel. Self-parking was a bit confusing, and navigating from the garage to the restaurant took some effort. The restaurant itself is beautiful. A girlfriend and I went for Sunday brunch, and it was very quiet — just us and a couple of other guests. Our server was great and very attentive, which we appreciated. I ordered Evelyn’s Burger with Bear Creek beef, fontina cheese, black truffle aioli, caramelized onions, and arugula. While the burger was good, the fries were described as house fries but appeared to be standard, store-bought fries, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food and drinks were solid, but nothing stood out enough for me to go out of my way to return. Still, it was an enjoyable brunch experience in a lovely setting.

We went intending to have lunch but discovered it was brunch since it was a Sunday afternoon. Delicious food & great service. The prices were a bit high but the quantities were large. If I could have taken half the pancakes home for leftovers, it would have been more justified since it was 2 full meals worth. The location was close to our hotel & was the best in the area from what we found & we were all happy we went.

Had a great time here—everything was well done. The food was tasty, the portions were generous, and the staff was warm and attentive. While nothing quite blew me away, the overall experience was enjoyable and easy to recommend. It’s a solid choice for a relaxed, satisfying meal, even if it doesn’t quite make the “must-visit” list.

Don’t miss dining at Evelyn’s in the Hutton Hotel on the West End. Recommend an array of small plates which tend to be anything but small. Corn Ribblets with Brown Sugar Butter was the start of a great food experience! Quarters of a corn on the cob (minus the cob) roasted and the sweet brown butter was first. A hand-held treat! Next was the Low Country Ham and Cheese plate. I have no idea what is the difference between low or high ham is, but it was a savory combination of cold ham and cheese and warm toast points that alone could have filled our tummies! The highlight was the Grilled Cheese Bites and Tomato Plate! This will take you back in time to a hearty tomato soup and perfect grilled cheese from your childhood! Only the Mac and Cheese shareable side was a bit ordinary. Everything else we ordered was different and delicious.

It's a beautiful restaurant with an interesting menu. Spicy chicken biscuit was good but a little on the dry side and definitely not that spicy. Service was friendly. This a cashless restaurant.

T

Evelyn's is a fantastic restaurant. I would have never known it was inside a hotel if I hadn't been staying there myself. The food was great, the service was superb and the drinks were delicious. If you're looking for a good hotel with a good restaurant attached, look no further.

T

Had brunch at Evelyn's. Service was good. Our server kept our coffees and water filled and made recommendations when asked. 4 stars because we were a party of 8 and we were not asked if we wanted the check split and we were given incorrect instructions on how to validate parking. Everything was clean, the food was good, and requests for substitutions were honored. Signage directing people to Evelyn's from the parking garage could be better. The bathrooms are not located in the restaurant, but in the hotel lobby and were very clean. The toilets are low to the ground, so good for children. There were no paper towels in the bathroom, only the hand air dryers. The hand sir dryers are too loud and scare children, it would be nice to have a paper towel option.

D
David Elliot

The food was excellent and the service started out good but once the valentines rush came in, our table was kind of ignored the last 45 minutes of the evening. We were wanting dessert but it got so late we just ended up paying and leaving. Even paying took forever.

Was staying at the Hutton Hotel and checked out this restaurant that’s located inside the hotel. The ambiance is very nice. The staff was nice and friendly. We saw a-lot of Google & yelp pictures of the corn bread so we ordered that to start. Unfortunately it was not as good as we thought it would be. My husband cut me a slice and I didn’t even finish the small slice. It was tasteless and dry. The manager came by to ask for feedback on the cornbread and we were trying to be nice about it but he admitted that he has been getting mixed reviews on the cornbread and that they recently changed their cornbread so the ones we were seeing pictures of they are no longer serving. We then got the Chicken and Dutchess potatoes. The waiter warned us that the chicken is fried and she did not lie. It was very Krispy. The dutchess potatoes was okay. Overall the restaurant was convenient because it was in the hotel but the food could have been better.

You don't get 5 stars because of the heeby geebies obtained while dining. The server greeted us with an amazing smile and the best service. She just had not taken a shower before starting her shift. Her nails and nail beds were ungroomed and full of crud along the sides. My date and I had to bathe and wipe menu with sanitizer. We were grateful our meals were served by a food runner oppose to Lindsay B.

The atmosphere was lovely and the upstairs venue seemed very cool. The host was also kind and helpful. However, we were here for a “late”dinner on Sunday night (8:00) and the food varied from underwhelming to inedible. Biscuits were good. Ordered two pasta mains and the ravioli was so smothered in cream sauce and I couldn’t take more than two bites. Add to that slow service despite and empty restaurant and I don’t think we’ll be back.

First of all let me say that this is a beautiful place. Wait staff was attentive. Cocktails wonderful. Where they lost me was with the quality of the food. My partner had the white Bolognese which was decent not spectacular. I had a NY strip which was supermarket quality. At the offered price I was expecting a prime steak. Wonderful atmosphere for a drink and an appetizer, but not a place to expect exceptional cuisine.

J
Jim Higgins

The service and atmosphere were good, but we found the food to be just ok. The steak was a bit tougher than expected, and the chicken was (again) nothing to get excited about. The biscuits small plate were very good though. All-in-all, price and product did not see eye-to-eye.

C
Chelsea

Waited over 20+ mins for a table. Then needed to add 2 additional people to the table which caused further delay. The host made a big deal over the fact that we wanted to add those 2. When 3 more arrived, we tried taking another chair from another table that no one was sitting at, only to be scolded by another unprofessional waitress who "didnt like how it looked" and "had to talk to a manager". Our other guests left due to the ignoeance. The waiter took forever to make our mimosas. When we asked if we could order our food while we waited (because we wanted to leave) we were again scolded with "i'm making your drinks first". When he finally came back, he had made a comment about how many people were sitting at the booth. 2 our of 9 people had ordered food then due to the ignorance and how they felt unwelcome. When we got the bill, the facility DID NOT TAKE CASH. No signage was posted for this. Big loss for the resturant. Stay clear!!!!
