We went for my birthday after friends recommended it that were from Cali. I love the atmosphere and ambience there. Lol you may not like any a table upstairs if you have any walking issues at all but I enjoyed my experience there.the birthday cookie was great and the Chicken Parm was also. I will say it could use some more seasoning but the portion was good. The service was definitely great and I recommend it as a great place to try.
The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The service was beyond impeccable. Such a friendly staff. Also, they have a very large front center bar with two big screen TVs that keep you updated with what you wanna watch. This was a VERY smart add. Good.. the Wagyu steak was the best I’ve had in Nashville. We also had the calamari which was perfectly cooked. We had the pasta, truffle, fries, salmon, the caviar, and the margarita pizza. I would definitely return for the steak! And just for the overall atmosphere before I to head out on the town.
My friend Mike, one of the managers, invited us to check out the newly opened Craig's location in Nashville, and it was a truly exceptional dining experience. They've successfully brought the classic Craig's feel and fantastic food to Music City. The new Nashville space is very elegant with a sophisticated vibe, featuring one-of-a-kind paintings throughout the building. The atmosphere makes it perfect for a special occasion. Our waitress, Danielle, provided top-notch service—friendly, efficient, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is designed for sharing and indulgence. We ordered a large selection of appetizers, and everything was delicious, especially the meatballs, which I thought were the absolute highlight—perfectly seasoned and tender. The calamari, pigs in a blanket, and the caviar service were all excellent starters. For entrees, the quality continued. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, but the showstopper was the Wagyu, which I agree was the best cut and preparation of the evening. We also sampled a couple of the pizzas (the Mushroom Truffle and the Margherita), which were a great, lighter addition to the meal. The cocktail & wine menu is strong. I personally loved the espresso martini and the spicy margarita—both were perfectly mixed and delicious. We finished the night on a high note with a round of warm cookies for dessert.
10 out of 10 experience in all categories staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Quick service, great food, and an amazing dining experience in Nashville!! Michael the GM is amazing as well, very friendly and makes sure you are taken care of!! Great addition to Nashville, and vegan friendly!
We went on a Saturday night and enjoyed the lively downstairs experience. Craig himself was there greeting tables and making sure everything was top notch. We had dirty martinis with the best blue cheese olives, tuna tar tar, wedge salad and the clam pasta. Everything was fresh made and intentional. The only critique is there was no bacon on the wedge salad and would have slayed if there was.
Craig’s kitchen this opening week is spot on for every dish. Very classic items on the menu, but served exactly how you have had it at your favorite restaurant. Chicken parm is served with the chicken extra crispy, tender, and seasoned well. The ribeye was slightly over seasoned, but paired incredibly well with the jalapeño corn dish.
Absolutely amazing experience! Good food, good drinks, magnificent atmosphere! Dee is an amazing server and she made the evening so memorable! Definitely suggest coming to experience the magnificence of this dining experience!!
In visiting from Los Angeles for Thanksgiving week with the family and I was so excited to get a reservation at Craig's and bring my family. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! As someone who frequents the LA location my standards are high. We started with pigs in a blanket, pepperoni pizza and the American chopped salad. Entrees we had the branzino, honey truffle chicken, chicken parm and the rigatoni vodka. All delicious! Drinks were great. Location great. Vibe was on point. Highly recommend! Nashville is lucky to have this gem!
great dinner last night excellent service
Our waiter was so kind and provided great service. I ordered a rib eye and it was very juicy and flavorful.
What a great experience. Thank you so much Craig.
We incidentally walked in to this place not knowing it was their soft open. Cindy was so kind to us and seated us at the bar. Our bartender, Beck was very professional and made top notch drinks. The amazing filet I had was cooked perfectly and our side of jalapeno creamed corn was absolutely delicious. What a sweet treat to visit Nashville and get to eat at Craig’s, who was also very amazing and cordial. Thank you all for being so welcoming to us!!!
Braumly he is so awesome he was very helpful checked on us several times wasn’t even our waiter and made sure to make sure we had everything we needed! It was our friends 21st and he made it great very kind and helpful would absolutely come back and be seated with him!
Craig’s Nashville boasts an amazing staff that is warm, kind, and incredibly accommodating. Their genuine hospitality made our visit special and we will be sure to frequent this establishment. Thank you!!!
The food was incredible, and our valet, Martin had great hospitality.
Service was fantastic. Valet (Sam) was fantastic! Highly recommend!
Wife and kids got to eat here pre opening said it was par excellence! Love the chicken parm, pizza and flatbread!
Braumly is AMAZING and such an attentive employee!!! Every little thing we asked for he made sure we got it ASAP!! 10/10 service
Favorite spot in nashville, Courtney(manager) is the greatest!! David and Jenna are rockstars behind the bar family like environment!
Thank you, Martin, for the great valet service!
I was in Nashville for a wedding and, like I usually do, I jumped online to look for steakhouses near where I was staying. Craig’s popped up, I checked out the menu, it looked great, so I booked a table for my friend and me. After mentioning it to a few locals, everyone had good things to say, which got me excited. And let’s be honest, that usually leads to disappointment. This restaurant was anything but. From the moment we walked in, the place was beautiful. The ambience and vibe were spot on, and the food was downright delicious. We ordered family style and went with steak, scallops, and rigatoni à la vodka, all recommended by our server. For sides, we did Brussels sprouts and corn, and that corn was absolutely unreal. What really makes a meal memorable, though, is the service. Our server, Deanna, was incredible. She was personable, funny, attentive, and made the experience feel genuinely special rather than just another night out at a restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Some meals are good, some are great, but the ones you remember are the ones that get everything right. Craig’s did exactly that. Food, vibe, and service all nailed. If you’re in Nashville and even thinking about a steakhouse, this should be at the top of your list.
The food was amazing and really made our Valentine’s night special. Everything came out perfect and we enjoyed every bite. We also want to thank Martin T. for his valet service. Even though it was busy, he was friendly, professional, and made everything smooth and easy for us. He’s such a genuine, smiley young man, and we truly appreciate his great service.
I had dinner there the other night and couldn’t have been happier. It’s a beautiful restaurant with an amazing waitstaff. The steak I ordered was perfection and the drinks spot on. I would highly recommend Craig’s to anyone looking for a good night out!
This was our second time at Craig’s. The first time we came here we were very underwhelmed. I am so glad we gave it a second chance this was one of the best dinners I’ve had. Benit was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the wine menu and food menu.
One of the best experiences I've ever had. I absolutely love this place. You get what you pay for and we paid for Excellence, kindness, service and the food was extremely Delicious. Me saying I was 100% satisfied is an understatement. Thank you for an amazing diner. My husband and I will be back for our Anniversary 💕
Craig’s did not disappoint. The bread basket alone is highly addictive—warm, indulgent, and impossible to stop eating. The branzino was pure perfection, beautifully prepared and flawlessly seasoned. Every detail felt intentional, from the food to the atmosphere. A standout dining experience and absolutely worth the visit.
New upscale restaurant in the Gulch. Excellent ambiance, service and delicious food. Bit pricey and maybe a few more dessert selections would be nice. Also, very comfortable seating and not excruciatingly noisy like so many restaurants today. Perfect for a date or small party.
First time at Craig’s and truly have enjoyed my time! The atmosphere, the employees, my waitress, and food was nothing but amazing! I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic!!! The food and service were impeccable! Erica went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect! We will definitely be returning to Craig’s Nashville on a regular basis.
Absolutely recommend! Food was very good and service was top tier. Our server, Tulio, literally made us feel like we were royalty. If you get him as your server definitely expect to receive a dining experience, not just a meal. Will absolutely be back again.
Tessa was fantastic! It was a pleasure meeting Craig and loved the atmosphere, staff and they did not miss one detail. Great addition to Nash and recommend! The hospitality was incredible!
There are too many details to type on how the entire team made our first honeymoon dinner literally perfect. If you go you need to ask to be in Bennys section. But there are other names to be mentioned here. The bar manager Erica, and Sky who was also a server. Then close to the end of the evening the sous chef came out to ask us about the food and he was also so kind and great. I cannot give 10stars or I would. If Craig himself is reading this know that this experience matched… no… BEAT the best dining experience we ever had in NYC. The food here deserves more than 5 google stars. Maybe a star that starts with “Michelin”. From the caviar bites, the scallops, all the way down to their bread dip. Everything was perfect. Thank y’all times 1 million.
Craig's is our new favorite neighborhood restaurant. We have been twice in the past couple weeks. Both times we sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. David and Stefan are fantastic bartenders that took great care of us. Best calamari in town.
2nd time there and 2nd excellent meal! Truly, this is the best Italian in Nashville, hands down. Get the chicken parm, the vodka pasta, the bolognese and don’t sleep on the chopped salad. Deanna gave great service and special thanks to Chef Steve for saying hello.
I left absolutely speechless. Not only was the food amazing, all the workers were so personable and kind. I met Craig and he’s absolutely charming and truly cares about all aspects of his restaurant. So happy to have Craig’s in Nash now and will be my go to from now on. Thank you Craig ❤️❤️
Overall, enjoyed our dining experience at Craig's. Love the exterior and door service that was available. We waited briefly at the door to be sat upstairs. I like the seating arrangement looking out to rest of restaurant together but still intimate for date night. I did not thoroughly enjoy my peachy keen cocktail or the tuna app not photod. But my boyfriend enjoyed his manhattan/old fashion and the tuna app. Our entrees were very delicious! Craig stopped by the table that night which was nice. Waitress was helpful and attentive. Although, I wasn't a fan of her "would you like some pink sauce?" offer with free bread service to then learn with the check that it cost $4. It's not a huge deal on a $200+ check but just felt too secretive for my liking. Add it to the menu and let people know. All that being said, would return at least once more time!
Loved my experience at Craig’s Nashville Last night! Host stand was very attentive and kind and Cam was so accommodating when I requested a booth in the phone! Management is so kind loved Meeting Mike last night. Service was great but not excellent, servers have server assistants so be prepared to see more of them than your server! I would have loved to have my server interact with me more and be more attentive as I did have to grab a manager who was on the floor doing a table Update to ask for more pepper on my salad. But that is not to say our server was not kind and sweet! She was absolutely so kind but would have loved to see her more. Not sure how big server sections were but they seemed to all have only three tables each last night. Cocktail selection was great! And my father had a glass of wine, wine selection is amazing! I had a fernet and Coke so they do have a full bar! I will say food was mediocre at best! You definitely are paying for the atmosphere and the wine and cocktail selection! I got the American Chopped salad, which did seem to have more garbanzo beans than lettuce which overpowered the salad. But it was really tasty still! For my entree I got the filet, and being in the service industry I did not want to send my steak back but would have if our server asked how everything was tasting before I finished over half my meal. I got my filet cooked medium rare but it came out looking more medium to medium well. But I know kitchens being busy and this restaurant is so new a steak is hard to keep watch on! Loved the restaurant and loved the vibes, but definitely will be back just for the bar on the first floor, but will not be back for the food!
gosh, wanted to love it. the build out is beautiful and i've always heard good things about the cali location. the steak was super salty though. i couldn't eat it but at the same time, when she took it away, she didn't even inquire about it.
Great ambience. Great service (but it was not an experience per se') Food was 5/6 out of 10 - just mid.
The food was not great. Also our bill did not match the prices for the food. Was not that impressed 😕
My wife and I were excited to try Craig’s after hearing great things, especially since this was our first night out after having a baby. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. The restaurant was mostly empty, yet we were seated in a booth directly beside the service entrance. We ordered a bottle of wine—they were out. Tried a second—also out. Asked about a third, and staff weren’t sure if they even had it and admitted they’d never opened it before. Two individuals, possibly managers or a sommelier, came to the table but never identified their titles and did not seem knowledgeable about the wine list. We were also asked to order everything at once so the kitchen could “pace” the meal, yet all of our appetizers came out simultaneously, and our salad arrived with our entrées. The pacing and execution were simply not aligned with a quality dining experience. We have plenty of fine-dining experience, and for a $300 dinner, the value and service did not come close to what we would expect. Our server was great—kind, attentive, and professional—but no manager ever came to acknowledge the issues. We don’t expect anything comped; we just believe the owners should be aware. The restaurant is still new, but the food quality and experience is not up to par with the price. We hope improvements are made, but at this time we would not return or recommend it.
Overpriced average tasting food. Pizza was good but nothing spectacular. A well (Tito’s) martini was $30. The best part was the amazing complimentary bread basket. Our waitress was top notch too. I guess we were paying for the name.
First off, food itself was really good. But this place claims (and their manager came up and said) to be a neighborhood/local spot. Yet, once they got a little busy they started handing out bills asap so they can flip. Didn’t ask if we wanted to hang out (even after just ordering a new drink). The other locals even said no other “locals bar” does that. You can’t be both. You can’t be a “local spot” and yet pressure out the locals. Pretentious, as is most of this neighborhood’s high end (“high priced” - $87 - for decent (not wow) ribeye) places. It’s one of those ‘want to be seen at’ type of places. So many better (and cheaper) food choices around the area, and a mile or two out. Also, basic, but even had to ask for a menu after awhile even after saying wanted food, while just sitting there (people next to me had to do the same).
The food was bad. I ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare, pre cut, and the entire steak was well done, for $87 I did not get what I paid for. Regardless of the temperature of my steak, I was not impressed with the cut or the quality. My wife ordered the spaghetti clams and the pasta was dry and flavorless. The entire dish was over cooked. Overall we were not left with a desire to return. Despite our entrées we did enjoy some of our dishes. The jalapeño cream corn was delicious, very flavorful but not too spicy. We also enjoyed the pigs in a blanket and the chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
We really wanted to love this spot since the online photos make it look like a perfect date-night restaurant. In person, the atmosphere just felt confusing. They had Eminem playing on the speakers, sports on the TVs, and a vibe closer to a Dave and Buster’s meets cheesecake factory than the intimate dining experience they advertise. The service was actually quite good, but the food didn’t match Nashville’s standards at this price point. The mashed potatoes had a cafeteria-style texture, the chicken parm was fine but forgettable, and my wife’s dish was just okay. They are new to Nashville and coming from the West Coast, so maybe they’re still finding their footing, but they will need to elevate both the food and the overall atmosphere if they want to compete in this city.
Craig’s is typically known for its vibrant atmosphere and dependable menu, which makes it especially disappointing that the Clam Show was unavailable yet again. This has now happened multiple times, and on a Friday night—only three hours into dinner service—it was particularly frustrating. Running out of a signature dish so early in the evening detracts from an otherwise well-regarded dining experience. Maria my server for the evening did everything in her power to make things right. I ended up only having the Caesar Salad. I was advised to call t make sure they have the clams before coming! lol. Nashville native. I have seen the best of the best come and go.
The vibe in here is cute and it was a good experience when I first walked in. They had someone open the door and the hostess was very helpful locating my party. After that, the whole experience was lackluster and disappointing. Our server was fine, but not great and he did spill some of my drink on the table with no apology. I understand those things happen but it was just very awkward. And I still got charged $5 for the Diet Coke lol. By the end of the night, we felt like we were being rushed and got asked at least 3 times within 15 minutes if we needed boxes and we had to continue clarifying that we were still eating and chatting. My food was good, but definitely overpriced. I get it, you’re paying for the name and the ambiance. I would say give it a try but I don’t know if I’ll ever be back of my own accord. I was looking forward to trying a nice, new place in Nashville but the whole night just left me feeling off. I spent $70 to get a glass of soda and a serving of mediocre lobster pasta, there’s better options in Nashville for sure.
This restaurant only caters to people who they think “ matter”. Dont dare ask a country singer in music city for a photo as they are leaving the restaurant. Nashville is not the spot for you Craig. We all pay the same amount to eat dinner. Be embarrassed for trying to be more than you are. That doesn’t work in Tennessee. Go back to Cali.
Place is complete trash. Steak undercooked, management rude. F-
Have been wanting to try this since it opened and was disappointed in the experience. Atmosphere was nice, and our server was okay, but the food was mediocre at best. For these prices, there are so many better meals in Nashville.
