Jonathan's Grille - Green Hills

We recently celebrated my dad's 50th birthday with 70 of our friends and family about two weeks ago! Rachel, the manager, was extremely helpful in coordinating this event with me. She was quick to respond to questions and other inquiries and made sure that everyone had a great experience. The servers and staff were friendly and very attentive to the guests. We definitely appreciate everyone's positive attitudes and hard work. The food was incredible and came out in a timely manner. Overall, the experience was great and smooth! Would definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely loved my experience at Jonathan's the other night. The food was delicious and the service was fast and thorough. Jess took such great care of us and truly created a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be back to request a table with JESS!

We had a great meal, loved the food as always. The highlight was our server Hannah. She was very friendly and attentive without being pushy. We really like this location and stop whenever we are in the area. We'll be sure to ask for Hannah next time!

I recently visited the Nashville area and was recommended this place by a family member. The atmosphere was casual but fun. Our server Nikky was funny, amazing, and went above and beyond our expectations. I know if we ever come back I would request to have her. My only critique for the night was that my salmon was a bit over cooked. Still I would recommend anyone visiting the area to check them out.

Very inviting atmosphere. Friendly staff. Merek took care of me, and had a trainee Tyler-Anne. I would not have known because both were professional, social, and knew what they were doing. They knew I wasn’t in a rush with a to go order and checked on me appropriately (not too much and not too little). Gave great recommendations for the amazing Cobb salad/dressings and was happy I ran into this place. Would recommend to anyone. Sports Bar done right.

To be brutally honest, my wife and I searched for something constructively critical for this restaurant to do to improve our experience..., but we couldn't think of anything that could've been done to enhance it. It was sensational from the ambience and quaint climate, to the incredible service. Much love to our super dope waiter Nick, who was extremely proficient. He also knew the menu and gave an unbiased opinion on the food, which is rare and commendable. Two thumbs and both #DUBSUP

We went in on a Sunday afternoon and had one of the specialty pizzas which was delicious. Service was EXCELLENT (truly 5-Star). Our Waitress, Anna, was very attentive to us, very knowledgeable about the Menu and made great recommendations for us! Would recommend Jonathan's to anyone seeking a Great meal coupled with Outstanding Service.

I just visited Jonathan’s grill and i have to tell you how my heart was absolutely BROKEN! I sat down with my sisters - mouth watering fixed and ready for some hot soft buttery rolls. Much to my dismay, i couldn’t have any because the oven was broken or they ran out. My heart sunk and i was ready to go across the parking lot to Cheesecake Factory. BUT!!!!! BECKY (the manager) and our server Anna saved the day!!!!! Not only did we get an appetizer on the house to make up for the heartbreaking inconvenience, later in our visit, they show up with the nuggets of gold - yup, hot, buttery, soft rolls!!!! They truly saved the day!!! Seriously - the service, the food, the whole experience was one of the best! And i want to shout out Becky and Anna for making an exceptional way to end an overwhelmingly strenuous day! ILL BE BACK!!!!!

This is one of our favorite places to eat. Their food is always tasty. The wait staff is awesome and really treat you like family. My favorite are the fajitas. Always hot and fantastic! Their guacamole is out of this world. Kyle is a great server. He's always got a smile on his face.

Amazing experience. Came to watch some football and they had every single game on in the bar area. The pepperoni pizza rolls and BBQ wings were SOOOO good. Service was attentive but not too overbearing since we were there for a while to watch the game. Would definitely return.

I had dinner tonight at this location and it was top notch! I sat myself in the bar area . I was immediately greeted by a server whose name was Marissa. She was extremely knowledgeable about the dinner menu and beers they offered as well. I highly recommend this location and will be telling all of my friends to come here!

Jonathan's at Green Hills is sort of a Nashville Landmark. It is a great little restaurant with nice ambiance. The Service is fast and friendly and they have an Excellent Bar. Our Bartender, Anna, was very knowledgeable and courteous (a rare combination these days). For great drinks, friendly service and good food Jonathan's is the place to be...

Anna was so friendly and told us about the new menu items. We tried the pizza rolls. While it as more like a stomboli than pizza rolls, it was still very good and I would highly recommend. Ice cold beverages too with a great happy hour 7 days a week.

Jonathan's in Green Hills is a great place to come! From bringing the family for a nice relaxing night where I don't have to cook to coming in just the two of us to watch a game in the bar area, this place is always our first choice! We consistently have great service and love the food!! Our kids beg to eat here every time we mention going out to dinner!!!

Great location next to the Mall at Green Hills (which doesn't have a food court). Atmosphere is relaxed and with a nice patio to dine in. Staff is very friendly and overall really responsive which is much appreciated. Food is very good with variety, however there aren't that many vegetarian/vegan options on the menu which was disappointing. That aside, I love dining here for lunch and would definitely recommend and a casual spot to dine with friends/family/siginificant other.

This place was a blast ! Me and some friends came by here and we had the best experience. I believe one of the employees there her name was eden and she was such a doll. Not once did she have a attitude or complain about us running her back and forth. I’d definitely go there again!

Very rarely am I used to eating out and having the manager check on us. It was nice to have Rebecca come to our table a few times to make sure everything was going good. She is super nice and we will def be back!

Don't normally stop into these places, due to stuck up service. But the other day I was pleasantly surprised by the waitress by the name of Eden. She was very attentive and really nice! I will be coming back again and specifically asking for her.

I've been coming to Jonathan's Greenhills for several years now and I just have to say they have exceptional service. Friendly, welcoming, and best of all, some of the best bartenders in town. Eden and Marissa,. Take the cake. Thank you all. Looking forward to many more years.

Love this restaurant. I go with my family very frequently (Kyle and Rachel are our favorites, they are so good to my son) and Every month, we have a ladies group meeting and we always have great service... Tonight we had Olivia. She was awesome... definitely the best we've ever had handling our group. I know is hard when there is a large group of people and we always leave happy but she was exceptional tonight. Keep up the great work Olivia... thanks for making our night a very pleasant one. I just wanted to take the time to express how great of service I received last night! Our server hannah was SO friendly and made it an enjoyable experience! Our glasses were always full and we got exactly what we ordered! The manager, Rachel, even stopped by our table to check and make sure everything was going good! I have not received customer service like this in a long time! This was our first time at this restaurant and it will definitely be our go to place now! Also, considering how busy it was, we still received our food in a timely manner and it was delicious! So kudos to the cooks for a great job too! Thank you guys for such a great experience!

I had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I was taken care of by a beautiful, friendly, young Asian woman. She was incredible. Every need I had was met. She was just on top of it, and very good at her job. The meal was good, but everything was heightened because of the amazing service. I couldn’t complain if I wanted to.

This is a great place for good food, great customer service, and great selection of beer!! My wife and I were visiting for our anniversary and when we walked in, Kyle at the bar made us feel right at home. He really made us feel like we were regulars. If you're looking for an awesome place to eat and watch football, Jonathan's Grille is the place to be. Thank you again for everything.

Jonathan’s Grille is delicious. The bar food is great and 2-for-1 drink special made our stay in Green Hills wonderful. David was hilarious and took such good care of us. He was an excellent server and I saw how well he handled a difficult patron. Definitely an assist! He’s easy on the eyes too 😏

We recently stopped in on a Girl's Weekend for a small bite to eat and drinks. Our waitress Jessie was AMAZING!! Our drinks stayed full and our food was ready very quickly! She jumped right in with us and asked what we were in town for an made the visit at Jonathan's Grille just fantastic. We said all night, we need to go back to Jonathan's! The 2 for 1 happy hour is such a great value. I HIGHLY recommend this place for a drink and bite to eat while your in Green Hills!! Hope Date#2 went well ;-)

This is the second visit for our retired men's group from Gallatin who ate at the Hendersonville location. The parking lot was nearly full for the Tuesday lunch but we were shown our seats immediately upon arrival. Our drink order was taken and delivered quickly and correctly. Our food order was placed smoothly and within ten minutes we were eating. Two of us ordered the 2 for 1 pizza and were more than satisfied with our food. One man ordered the Bison burger medium and received his meal exactly as he ordered. Another man ordered the Reuben (corned beef) and enjoyed his sandwich except he thought the meat needed to be warmer and the cheese needed a stronger taste. Our other table mate chose the Carribbean Chicken and mentioned the chicken was overcooked and a bit tough to chew, although he did enjoy the overall taste of his selection. All of us, however, did volunteer the comment that we'll be back again to eat here.

The pizza was great, very tasty cheese and sweet onions. Bam Bam shrimp were nice size and very good, maybe 12 shrimp, nice order for an appetizer ☺️. Our waitress besides being beautiful was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Even when we show up one hour before closing on a slow night. 👍

We had a group reservation for 23 of us. Never expected our food to come out simultaneously but what happened was the last few came out after people we're finished. Had to ask for the final chicken fingers to be comped since none were offered. We spent $445+ so didn't think that was too much to ask. Had to always ask for water, napkins, etc. No apologies given. 3* at best.

Decent food, but extremely slow service. We visited on a Saturday night and they were not very busy. When leaving we saw 4 servers sitting around a table in the covered patio area just talking and hanging out. No wonder our service was so slow and food early cold. Appetizer was forgotten. I'm a pretty understanding person and if our server looked like he was busting his tail and super busy, I wouldn't have cared. Probably won't return to this Jonathan's. I love the Mt juliet, Murfreesboro, and Cool Springs location!

Second stop this week,. First one was good. This time was lacking on service. After being seated and getting drinks. 15 min later we had to go get someone to order. Got a different server. Things was great after this point. Did find out they are closing in 3 days. The food was good.

Food was really good but the bartender took forever to greet us and get us drinks. Then it took her a long time to take our food order which I had to ask her if we could order. She never refilled my drink. I also had to ask for my check even though she cleaned up our plates. Will not go back to this location.

The service provided by Will, the waiter was awesome. However, 75% of our food was cold and the female manager had a nasty attitude. It was quite unfortunate that our COLD FOOD resulted in her losing all tact and professionalism.

I've been here 3 times because it's in walking distance from my home. They have excellent deals on Sunday to draw a football crowd. The reason it's dead is the service. It's really.... really bad. The problem has got to be the management, every server in here seems like they just don't care, it's like they have an absentee owner and they're just punching a clock. Food is pretty good but the service is so bad it doesn't make up for it.

The food was average and nothing special in my opinion. The wait staff was friendly and did keep our beverages full and checked on us to make sure everything was good. Based on wait staff, I would give 3 stars but I'm rating on price and the taste of the food and thought it was a bit overpriced for average food. While the wait staff was friendly and helpful, I did think it took a little too long to receive our food once we ordered. I'm from out of town but do visit Nashville often but this one is a one-timer for me.

It really wasn't busy. We waited a long time for our food and of course it came out COLD. The waitstaff struggled with taking our orders, bringing out food & drinks and then the bill. They had no clue who ordered what. We spoke to the manager and she wasn't much better. Your staff is only going to be as good as your management...I've been to Jonathan's in Murfreesboro & enjoyed it, but had a completely different experience at this location. I would not return or recommend this place.

Before visiting this location, I had been to the Mt. Juliet location and enjoyed every aspect of it. So, I went in with high standards based on the fantastic service and meal I had previously received. Once there, we had a 20 minute wait, which was bearable. When our waiter came to take drink orders, we were ready to order food as well, in hopes it would not take as long. We all ordered the same thing, Alfredo, with different variations, such as salmon and no tomatoes etc. The waiter did not ask for our dressing preference and did not bring us salads, even though the menu says it comes with your meal, and I had gotten one with the exact same meal at the other location. After about 20 minutes he came to jokingly say they were out of Alfredo, and apologize for our wait. He told us he had finally gotten the order in and would bring us salads while we waited. After about 20-30 more minutes he came by to apologize again for our wait and said that two of our Alfredos were almost done, but that we were now waiting on the third. He then offered to personally buy us a dessert for our wait. While sitting here waiting on our meals, it was easy to see that the restaurant was not busy, rather that there was one pretty big party getting all the attention. Once our meals finally came, each one was incorrectly made in some way like grilled chicken instead of blackened chicken, or mushrooms and tomatoes when we asked for them not to be in it. The two that had been cooked earlier were cold and the noodles were not cooked all the way. The Alfredo that we had apparently waited the longest on, had salmon, which was not cooked properly. Only one of the plates came with bread on it, when they all should have. After taking a few repulsing bites we decided to eat elsewhere. We talked to the manager who was completely understanding. All in all, we were there an hour and a half just to eat some salads and get cold food, it was a complete waste of time and we will NOT be revisiting this location .

My visit to Jonathan's Grille was the worst dining experience I have ever endured. An hour after being seated we still had only water to drink. Several of us had ordered the featured bourbon, but were finally informed they were out of stock. The rest of our drink orders were simply not completed until later in the evening. After inquiring as to where our waiter was, they finally began taking our meal orders over an hour after our arrival. Prior to ordering our meal, we were informed they were out of baked potatoes. Really? How does a restaurant allow itself to run out of baked potatoes? Half our appetizers were never delivered to the table. Several times while we waited they came to our table to tell us they were out of yet another item we had ordered. After our meals were finally delivered to the table almost two hours after we were seated, the waiter told one in our party that he would have to order something else. They had just discovered they were out of his order after everyone else finally had their meal in front of them. At that point he did not feel inclined to reorder and decided to pick up a pizza on the way home. The rest of us felt quite uncomfortable eating our meal while one in our party went without. The food was average, but expensive. However, the reason we considered cancelling our orders and going elsewhere was the attitude of the wait staff towards several members of our party. Probably the most egregious example was when we shared with the waiter that two in our party were recently engaged. His response was a sarcastic "Congratulations" to the bride-to-be and "So sorry" to the gentleman. No one at the table was amused. Another waiter asked, "How is your meal?"....before anyone at our table had been served. We left wondering why any establishment would treat their guests in such an abusive manner. Never again.

Stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday evening at about 5pm.There was a sign up front to seat yourself but I had to try 3 tables before finding a clean one. It took 10 minutes for a server to show up to the table and there were no other people in the dining room when we arrived. Ordered soft pretzels, they looked like the cook had squeezed them to death and they came out broken. The floor looked like it had never been vaccuumed, yet servers sat at a table in a corner not helping the 3 other tables that had come in. The bathroom smells like what I imagine the bathroom in the movie trainspotting smelled like. It feels like management has completely given up on this place. The server was nice but I felt like telling him he is better than this place and needs to get out ASAP. Sad.

I am sitting here right now and must say it was a terrible experience. My husband and I ended up having a little time before our V-Day movie to swing in (it's next to the movie theater.). We got greeted, our drinks ordered then after that we waited so long we had to grab another waitress to take our order, I never got asked for another drink, and my husband had to get up and get some water himself. We received our food and it was the driest chicken I've ever had. I'm not even sure it was real. It's sad bc a place like this could be a gem in this area of Nashville! We eat out quite a bit and never want to leave reviews like this but, honestly, eating here would be a waste of your money. I'm sorry!

This was my best friend and I first time dining at this restaurant. We were happy to see the laid back atmosphere and felt like it was a good decision. We were seated in a timely manner, however we were not greeted for about 10 minutes. The host took our drink orders and then the server came over. We ordered a starter which was delicious. We did however, have to ask for refills on beverages. We both proceeded to order our entrees, and upon receiving them and dressing my baked potato I looked down at my plate to find a long string of hair that went halfway down my plate! Disgusted I called for the waiter and he looked horrified. The manager finally made her way to the table to let us know she wouldn't charge for the entree (duh!) but that we still had to pay for the dip and drinks even after this ordeal. There was an attitude like, "oh well" and that is not customer service. Will never dine here again.
