Very Well established restaurant in the community, great food, unique menu, and variety, decent seating. Food: Excellent Service: Excellent Atmosphere: Excellent Cost: $$ What we had: Gyoza (appetizer), Lamb Rack, Chicken fried rice, Chicken Bao, 1 water & 2 non alcoholic beverages and Mochi ice cream dessert. Total cost including taxes, gratuity: $172 this is very reasonable. We add a cash tip as well. Bring it to about $220 No cons to speak of. This was our second time there. Parking is hard to find, but we were offered valet at the price of “whatever you want” to pay, I thought that was nice.
My husband, adult daughter and I went for dinner and it was fantastic. We love to try sharing plates and the 3 we got were outstanding… tuna tostadas!!!, 12 piece sushi, hamachi ceviche. My husband did the Mahi Mahi, which was so good. My daughter and I did more sushi and it was very fresh. The food was outstanding. I forgot my cell which they found and locked up immediately until I could return to pick it up. The hostess (I forgot her name), she was so lovely as was everyone. Thank you all for a wonderful evening, it just added to our vacation.
This was one of the best restaurants we have ever been at. The food was absolutely outstanding. Delicious and very well presented. The atmosphere and lighting was really nice aswell. The service was great, nothing to complain about. If you want to eat sushi or chicken, you definitely have to pay them a visit. We had dinner 3 times and everything we tried was just great and worth every penny. Thank you for making our stay at the Bahamas so much better!
Absolutely amazing food and service! The tuna tataki was out of this world and the drinks were the cherry on top of a wonderful dining experience! Visited for our anniversary and absolutely was a great way to celebrate!
Amazing sushis!!!! So delicious and well made. The service was good and fast, our server was very nice. A bit pricey but it’s the bahamas 🤷🏻♀️ dessert was absolutely amazing as well - we had the chocolate mousse (a bit much whipped cream) and chocolate lava.
One of my favorites spot on the island. The food is soo good and the place itself looks clean and hip. We loved Asian wings so much we ordered them 3 days in the row. You can't go wrong with any maki, sushi rolls are fresh and delicious. There's plenty of good cocktails to pick from as well.
That was a special meal!! Wow, the aromas, flavors, ingredient combinations. We will be back. From the simple vegetable fried rice to the sublime miso aubergine and the pork bao buns, everyone was delighted. Delicious just right on the spice cocktail. Couldn’t leave room for dessert this time but will next!
Simply incredible. The conch maki was literally one of the best things I have ate in my life. Lobster tacos, pork bao, rainbow maki, spicy conch stew, lychee Bellini, lychee martini, every bite and sip was stunning. Quiet atmosphere, pretty decor, excellent host and wait staff. And minutes from Cable Beach. This place is perfect.
Always a favourite. Most recently we got a table for four adults and a child on a busy Friday night, calling maybe 10 minutes before we got there. Other places nearby turned us away saying we needed a reservation. The service was good, attentive but not intrusive, the food was delicious and arrived in good time. The rock shrimp was delicious.
Excellent service and food all around. The atmosphere set the tone for the entire evening and I would highly recommend the lamb rack and grilled octopus in particular. Will definitely be back!
The service was pretty good considering the business they had. We did have a lychee Bellini that was quite disappointing. They used a horribly tasting champagne, then dropped one lychee in the glass with no syrup to add some flavor, had we not seen them make it in front of us… we would never known what it was “Supposed” to be. The food on the other had made up… all off the dishes was order arrived while still hit. We will definitely go back again
First time and most definitely not my last time at Social House. The ambiance was lovely. The service was top-notch from the moment you arrive. The valet parking to the hostess that got us seated with in a few minutes even though it was a packed house that night. We did not go unnoticed even with the rush, our waiter was very attentive and charming. The food was wonderful and the mixed drinks even. I would recommend Social House to any and everybody. The Food and the service will keep me as a costumer.
About a 20 minute drive from the cove is this wonderful lit sushi spot. Lots of local flair like conch Maki. The lobster and truffle Maki were solid as was the miso glazed Cod. Prices were reasonable given you're in the middle of an ocean and the service was impeccable. Get out of the hotels and enjoy the local eateries and people!
Lovely sushi restaurant in Nassau. The food is good, drinks were good. The staff were nice and even though the restaurant was full the hostess managed to get us a table and waiters could bring us food in a reasonable time.
The food, the service, the ambience, the valet, the drinks. Everything was everything for my husband and I date night at Social House. Trey was super helpful and so kind serving us. The mood was really calming and inviting. The only 2 areas that could have been better for us was limited seating and dessert. I requested a bench table seating indoors and the only place offered to us with those criteria was in the corner next to a group of talkative females and in my opinion too loud for uncomfortable conversation. They were very disturbing and I wish we had more options to sit somewhere else. Also the dessert we ordered as take out and it was not very enjoyable at all. EVERYTHING else was to die for! The chowder, the wings, the rolls, the rice, the bao whatever its called all were amazingggg. The drinks were so good, we ordered more for the road. Needless to say, we truly enjoyed our experience and we will definitely be back again.
I think that is the best restaurant in Nassau. Tasty soup, great sushi and fantastic cocktails. Big selection of seafood. Top class service, waiters offer good advice. Very popular restaurant in the city. Better make a reservation.
The service started off slow, but after a while Brian got the hang of us. The wine was great and the California Special sushi and plantain sushi was delicious. The Atlantic Salmon melted in my mouth. I thoroughly enjoyed my time, food and experience there.
Great outdoor dining experience. Trey, our server, was very accommodating. He knew the menu items very well and was able to make recommendations. I'd recommend you visit if you haven't done so already.
Great experience. Delicious food. Good presentation. Nice family vibe. Pleasant and helpful servers. Will be back once I master my chopstick skills.
The food is incredible, the staff very friendly. I wanted to try everything 🤣 If you are fully vaccinated you can eat inside otherwise you must seat outside but is is really nice 😍
I had a wonderful experience. Food was tasty, I had sushi, friends had salmon and chicken. Wow its was all incredible! The atmosphere was good, service was good and the decor and music was top notch. They have valet parking for those who require it. I will be returning!
Definitely felt like VIP experience parking, and entering. The service is definitely so far the most attentive on the island. It was however very cold in there. Recommend to take a light jacket. My husband was even cold.. and he never gets cold. Also, being from the US our soy sauce is not that potent or salty. I had to water down my soy sauce it was very strong. Food: 7.5/10 spicy tuna crunch roll 8/10 volcanoes roll 8/10 sashimi /nigiri chefs choice $36 We also ordered a house hot sake to share $11, and 2 sapporos. I didn’t realize you paid for the still water options $6/a bottle. Overall had a great experience, best service hands down, and food was good!
One of the best sushi / Japanese restaurants I have ever been to outside of Japan! Highly recommended. It is pricy, but absolutely delicious and the service is fantastic.
Favorite favorite favorite. Best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan. I actually think their rolls are the last thing you should be eating. The bao buns are perfect, and the ceviche with apples and jalepeno is awesome. Everything is well done and different and delicious. Service is also great. We have never left dissatisfied just entirely too full!
We ate here while on our honeymoon. The food was great, and atmosphere was very luxurious and chill.
This was actually our favorite meal of our trip. The sushi was fantastic and so fresh. The salmon tostadas and hamachi ceviche in particular blew us away. The cocktails weren’t the best, but not the worst either. Overall a really enjoyable experience and a spot we’d recommend!
Fabulous food, great environment and very good service. Will go definitely there again.
We came here for lunch. The food and the atmosphere were both phenomenal. We would definitely come back
The food at Meze Grill was some of the best on the island. Highly recommend the double pork chop as a main. The leftovers made an excellent sandwich. Portions are very generous.
This restaurant deserves 5 stars for atmosphere and excellent service, discrete and kind. The food was simply great. We had guacamame, incredibly delicious, balanced in different flavors. Gyoza, I love them and try them everywhere. The ones I ate this evening were the best. Uramaki and Kushiyaki, very good. And to finish a perfect chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and almonds. Everything was perfect. Come here and try it yourself. You won’t be disappointed. We will come back soon.
From walking in and being greeted by a sassy and professional hostess, to our attentive servers, to every single fish we ordered being delicious. Even when one food round was taking a touch long (Valentine’s Day and a full restaurant) they were still attentive and apologizing profusely ensuring we knew they hadn’t forgotten us. But you go for the food. Everything on point. Everything delicious from start to finish. From the maki rolls (tuna crunch ommgggg) to pork buns, to the outstanding chocolate dessert. And after we were all stuffed, the bill came in under $230. For four people with drinks. Don’t think, go.
We were invited out for business dinner. The atmosphere was great, food was excellent. No complaints!
Social House has a nice, upscale atmosphere and the food was delicious. Portion sizes for the appetizers and entrées were a little on the small side, but the sushi rolls were a good size and very satisfying. We had the ginger lemonade, which was refreshing, along with two styles of edamame—regular and spicy. The spicy edamame was especially good with a nice touch of sweetness. We also enjoyed the seafood udon noodles, steak salad, teriyaki chicken, and fried rice, all of which were flavorful and well prepared. The only downside was that you have to purchase bottled water rather than having complimentary water. Overall, it was a great dining experience with excellent food and a stylish setting.
The Social House Sushi & Grill offers a variety of options on their menu for everyone to indulge. Drinks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sushi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In my opinion the Wakizashi is the best drink ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Is refreshing and perfect to start your vacation. ...of course you must make sure that Kevin is the bartender. After visiting the restaurant 3 plus times, trying different menu item & found THE Bento 🍱 Box!!! Is the best way to try different items on the menu. After meeting & chatting with the owners & manager. I understood their concept. ***A trendy and upscale atmosphere, suitable for both casual and special occasions. Definitely the menu is matriculated created to please!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ YOU WOULD FIND SOMETHING TO EAT & INDULGE!! On a nice day make sure to try to sit outside
Ambience/Atmosphere: Gorgeous restaurant. Very beautifully decorated. Has ambient lighting around the bar. Indoor/outdoor seating available. Cleanliness: Appears clean and well kept however, there is a sour scent upon entering indoors that is noticeable at first. Customer Service: Prompt and attentive wait staff. Wait: Order to table was very prompt. Food comes as prepared ie. in no particular order. Menu: Many many options to choose from. Starters, small plates, tempura, bao, main plates, lunch specials. Vegan/Vegetarian options: Yes, available. Presentation: Everything was beautifully presented. Taste: Delicious with fresh ingredients. Price: $30-70 OVERALL: Worth a trip. Sushi is well done and offers a good variety. Cooked food was also delicious. Service is great and price is as expected for the food and area.
Firstly, the hostess on duty the evening I visited wasn't very cordial or helpful. Upon arrival, she insisted the restaurant was full but reservations were coming in So, I walked out, called reservations and was able to book a later dinner reservations (no suggestion on her part) The restaurants says it accepts walk-ins but do yourself a favor, call ahead and book reservations. The waiter though, was very friendly and attentive, offered great recommendations on the cooked sushi. The food was great, nice and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely, worth the visit.
I've visited a few times before covid hit. The food is still of the same great quality and the atmosphere is still cool and inviting. My lunch date and I dined inside and we did have to pull our table over a bit for a little more privacy as we talked but that wasn't a big issue. The prices are great and the hostess and servers were welcoming and professional. I'd always recommend. In my photos are the pork bao bun, salmon bento, and tuna tartare, all were very tasty!
First of all - very good sushi for higher prices!! We loved our sushi! We ordered four different types and all have been amazing. The sushi really tastes well, nice seasoned, well prepared nothing more to say. You'll get 8 makis for each dish. The waiter was very friendly too, always looking at us - waiting for more orders or special wishes. The only little negative point, the sushi is quite expensive and the drinks are very expensive as well. We paid $8 for a lemonade. That's a little bit too much. All in all, if you wanna have nice sushi and the price doesn't scare you. Go there you will have a very good dinner/lunch whatever.
Food is good. Fritz was our server. He was really good. Before he came to our table, we felt ignored by the staff who walked pass us numerous times and did not acknowledge our table. We visited twice and the experience was consistent. Each time we almost walked out how long they took to visit our table. Overall good place for food.
Great dinner date, friendly service, good food and nice ambiance. Parking upfront, valet is also available.
Food was great, server was also pretty good. Wait times for food are a bit lengthy, but overall it was a nice experience.
Pretty good sushi place. Easy drive (or walk) from Baha Mar. Hamachi ceviche - delicious, unexpected fun. Hamachi serranito - yummy... not hot at all, but still yummy. Spicy rock shrimp.. yep. Sushi was good too.
Lovely, clean environment inside and outside seating. Awesome service, just check out the time for opening and closing. Food is delicious, variety is awesome. Would definitely try it again.
Great food and service. Wait time wasn't too long and the ambiance was very laid-back.
Great drinks (we order their Long Island iced tea). I recommend the gyoza (a little spicy) and the shrimp tempura to start. The teriyaki sauce is delicious and I like to have it with the beef tenderloin but the lamb rack was also great. For sides, the truffle parmesan fries, mushroom & onion, and the vegetable fried rice - sooooo good! For dessert, the chocolate lava cake and the caramel ice cream were my favorites! We loved our meal and the service was excellent :)
We really enjoyed the food, very good not to pricey. The ambient setting made me feel more relaxed. I am a heavier person so the wider chairs were really nice. It was busy has we went on a Saturday night so service was a little slow, other than that we really enjoyed ourselves and would do it again
The good, the bad and the ugly. The good: The miso cod was outstanding, the pork bao buns are worth it, the tostadas are great and the seared salmon miso roll was the only enjoyable roll. I would order it all again. The bad-ish: Service was okay, they were busy, they did their best. But when issues occurred they were not overly accommodating or responsive. The ugly: The lobster truffle roll had hard inedible rice. When we let them know they replaced it with a different roll of lesser value but kept the more expensive lobster roll on the bill. When this was addressed with the waiter he did not offer to fix it. At that point we were so done we didn’t ask for a manager. The spicy tuna crunch was awful, had no tuna, no avocado and had empty fillings. (Picture provided). When this was addressed with the waiter he wasn’t exactly responsive. I hope to come back and change my review as the initial items we had were truly worth ordering again. But tonight was otherwise disappointing.
Food is ok, nothing special but also nothing bad. I would say for 30% less it’s worth going back - but yet again, it is also the Bahamas and everything is expensive 😅 I wouldn’t go back myself and will go try other places. Service was good and the guy who helped us was really nice. Overall - fine
Social House is the kind of place where you walk in and you are transported into another world. There is an air of sophistication that makes you want to drink fine wines or elegant martinis. The food is blend of unique creations and classic sushi house.
We got take out. Asian wings, Yakimeshi mix rice and conch maki. We did not enjoy. We really didn't enjoy our meal. Pwaswan is SO MUCH BETTER!!! I won't be going back. This place is overrated to me. It's just my opinion
