The service is good. Yes slow. But always smiles when certain servers greet you. Some seem like they don't want to be there. The food isn't that good. I had chicken fried chicken and it was bad. It tasted and smelled spoiled. I replaced it with chicken fried steak, which was better. Another visit I had mushroom Swiss burger. It wasn't bad but left a weird taste after. We did have a wait, but the waitress was attentive, kept our drinks full and smiles and laughter coming in. 6 of us went in, got our food minus one. The salad took far too long to get. We were almost done eating before my daughter got her salad. The kitchen staff needs to do better.

We were excited to visit this local pub. Our experience was not as expected. We had a couple with us that told us that the service was normaly good there. Today, not so much. We have become spoiled with happy friendly waitstaff at the places we chose to eat at. The bathroom smelled of sewage. Food wise, our chicken sandwiches came with a half of chicken breast. It didn't even cover half the bun. The bun was fresh and yummy. Fyi, they add a 20% tip automatically. We are not a fan of being told on what to tip with a party of 5 on a Sunday at 11am. We were the first ones to arrive, but not the first to be served. We might go back, but I doubt it.

We got burgers, and they were definitely smaller than I remember, BUT Delicious! Best to go in on Monday... totally worth the daily special prices!

What has happened to this place??? The food is not as good as it used to be. My husband got the meatloaf and he said it tasted like a frozen and smothered in a very salty gravy. My fries were overly salty and they didn't make either drink I ordered correctly. I don't think we will be back anytime soon.

Burnt fried catfish and mashed potatoes were so cold the cheese didn't melt. Would rate 1 star but they were busy so giving benefit of the doubt.

We came for the crawfish as they had a deal going. 5lbs for $20. The crawfish were pretty small which is fine it’s the end of the season. They were nicely seasoned. The sausage was a hard pass as it was weirdly soft? We also got a pound of shrimp for $13.99/lb which was kind of meh. They were small shrimp thought we would have had better considering the price. Totally not worth it. The crawfish were hard to peel which made it super disappointing. The service SUCKED. Our server checked on us MAYBE twice. It took forever to get a hold of someone and to get the check but they magically seemed to be quick to come take my card when it came time to pay. Wont be coming back again 👎🏼

I want to express my disappoinment with a local business in hopes that they will do better. Very terrible and poor service tonight at The Pub 36 in Needville. My daughter and I walked in. No one greeted us or acknowledged in any way. We sat ourselves and watched as waitresses kept looking at us but never saying we will be right with you or anything. Finally after 15 minutes a waitress was pointing to us and I waved my hand for her to come stating it's been 15 minutes and no one has come to see about us. They sent over one of the newer girls from other side of restaurant and she took our order. We both ordered crawfish. After waiting 30 minutes (mind you it wasnt incredibly busy) a couple come in and are greeted and told to sit anywhere. They sat next to us and within 10 minutes of being there were being served their crawfish by the manager on duty. At that point we still hadnt received our crawfish so my daughter and I decided we had had enough and decided we were leaving. We made our way to the door and as we exited the manager on duty, who had seen us but never acknowledged us, yelled you all have a good night. This felt very deliberate and like they didn't want to serve us and hoped we would leave instead I will never return there, as I had been there many times before, but tonight was the last straw. I've always heard this place was racist but I can definitely believe it after tonight. I would not recommend. I'd rate it a zero if I could. Terrible experience.

The food was burnt not good the server was great was not her fault I wouldn't feed that burnt food to my dog the cook needs a new job position like being a bus boy cause cooking doesn't work for him

Got 10 lbs of crawfish. Its preseason you dont expect much. But getting 3 different batches on one tray is unacceptable. Some crawfish came out frigid some came out piping hot. Some were way over cooked. Some way under. Paid the bill and went to sonic. Wouldn't even serve that to my ex wife

The place was dead and the service was painfully slow. Cats were on the tables, and the food was disgusting. The fryer oil tasted like it came straight out of a grease trap after years of buildup.

Called specifically asking by if they had crawfish. They told us to come within the next 30 min. We were across the street. We went immediately there and sat down and they IGNORED us completely. After 15 min I went in to ask if they even had any left and she said only 5 pounds. They served 5 tables in the time we sat there waiting that came in after us. Worst service in all of Needville.

Extremely disappointed in the service, or lack thereof. I'd review the food but our order was not put in until the rest of our party received their food. I guess she forgot us. ( she wrote it down, and read the order back to us) Then when she brought out our order, it was wrong. I get mistakes happen, then apologize don't tell me it was what another person at the table ordered. Don't worry they tried to make it right by not charging me for the food that was wrong that we didn't eat. It was nice for the manager to offer a discount for our next visit. I will not return. I paid and left. Hungry and irritated!

Name has changed to "Pub 36" and the menu prices have skyrocketed! The $8 Mushroom Swiss Burger that I love so much is now $13! All their burgers are now crazy expensive! I won't be going back.
