The service was absolutely amazing. I felt like I was vip. The food was incredible. We destroyed every menu item. Every dish we ordered was delicious but if I were to rate each dish it would go: 1.pork belly sandwich, 2.the mofongo, 3.empandas and 4.tacos. Amazing atmosphere here, such a cute place. Would most definitely come back when I have the munchies.

Such pretty decor. Pigtastic. Flavor popping.food. Great staff. They helped suggest tasty bites that we’d like. The Chicharon is crispy on the outside and juicy tender flavor on the inside. The picado platter is a must. The empanadas here had filling like no other. Seriously different filling. Chicharon, longanesa sausage, and cheese. Yummy. Yucca fries and sauces good and plantain tostones. The el crunch chili sandwich had great grilled bread and loved the cabbage and a touch of spice. Quality. The mofungo was epic and memorable. Stuffed with meats and covered with mozzarella. All the sauces were perfected. The liquid gold dip for it yummy. The jugo juices outstanding again memorable. The tamarind tasted like a wr rounded pulp. Not too sweet not to tart. As was the chinola passion fruit. I must try the coffee flan next time. 10 out of 10 and thanks for bringing elevated fun food to my old home as old neighborhood.

This is the best Dominican chicharron I’ve tasted in NYC. The place is very small it has about 3 round high tables each with 2 stools and 1 other round table for about 3 people. But the food is great and prices are good too oh the portions are enough.

We were craving some fresh, good, well cooked chicharron and I was recommended to come here, so we did… Let me tell you, it was the best chicharron (pork belly) I have had!!! It was freshly made, flavorful but not overly salty or flavorful, perfect combination of crispy and soft at the same time. We tried almost everything on the menu, we had *La Krunchy - Picada!*, *Duo Krunchy Empanadas*, *Krunchy in a Bag!*, and the *Yummy Tacos* and some different flavors of natural juice. Everything was SOO GOOD!! Food was cooked to perfection and so mouthwatering. My favorite were Krunchy Picada and those delicious fully filled empanadas. The best part about our visit was definitely the service!! I sadly forgot the names of the gentleman and lady who provided the greatest sweetest service to us but they definitely made our visit extra special and memorable. My twin sister was 7 months pregnant with my twin nephews and they noticed when we arrived and sat down, unfortunately we didn’t realize we had to go to the counter to order until we saw the huge line, and we just sitting down for over 10 minutes discussing the menu, by the time we ordered we had a bunch of orders ahead but people that came after us, they were so kind to prioritize and rush our order without us even asking or knowing because they noticed when we came and noticed my sister was super pregnant. We were so grateful and appreciated the kind gesture a lot!!! This place was cool and very casual, there was music playing and everyone walking in was so nice! Cant wait to be back!!!

I LOOOOOOVE the chicharrón here! The lady at the counter is always really nice to me too and I’m not even Dominican! hahaha I come here about once a week for a half pound of chicharrón with their amazing mojo. I honestly like it more than Elsa’s where the employees lack warmth. Also, Krunchy Cueritos has better prices.

They offer a nice menu. I had the krunchy in a bag and it was really good. I would definitely return here to try more menu items. It’s in the cut, it’s kind of small, but it’s really clean in here and the staff is super friendly. I’m a lil sad I haven’t found this spot sooner. If you’re in the neighborhood definitely stop in. I would go as far to say it’s worth a train ride here! This place came across my Tik Tok feed and I waited three months to finally try it. We came all the way from Virginia to try this place. It was worth the drive and the wait! First off, I want to start off by saying the service was great. The place is tiny, but a great warm atmosphere from the owners. They made sure we were comfortable and had enough space to eat. We ordered the picada, which in my opinion was an incredible price for the amount of food. As a lover of chicharrón, I was shocked that was not my favorite portion of the picada. My favorite portion was actually the carnitas. OMG they were seasoned to perfection and juicy. The yucca frita was also soooo crispy, hot and fried to perfection. Of course the chicharrón was incredible. Fresh, juicy, and not oily at all. It was literal perfection. We also had jugo de china y jugo de limón. It was so good, I went back from seconds. I have never had jugo naturales tan bueno outside of RD! We didn’t have to wait long for our food as we dined in. They were quick and efficient. If I ever decide to come back to NY, I will make sure this will be my first stop!

Now coming from DR there’s hardly places that can compare with food back home if the restaurant is Latino . But this place has an amazing selection, food is flavorful, it truly delicious. Juices not a total fan. But the rest of menu on point , you won’t be disappointed.

Owners are super friendly, we came from Dallas after seeing this on social media, this was our first stop after the airport and when I say I’m gonna try and stop by before we go home! For those who continue to dine with the swine🐷, this is your spot. Freshly made and the staff are pleasant. Unfortunately, no habla Ingles, but you can point. The skin is a real CRUNCH, and the meat is succulent & tender. It's seasoned just right. I recently decided to try this viral chicharron place for my best friend's birthday, as she specifically requested CHICHARRON for her birthday. I placed my order online in the morning at 11:42 am, and selected a pick-up time window between 6:10 pm and 6:20 pm since I was coming straight from work. I paid up front, hoping everything would be ready when I got there. Unfortunately, I arrived at 6:35 pm and found a line out the door. Not a huge issue, though I didn't mind initially. When I spoke to an employee to let her know I was there for a pre-ordered pickup, she asked for my name and told me to wait a few minutes. However, something felt off, and I decided to stay in line just in case. By the time it was my turn, I found out my order wasn't ready yet, despite having placed it hours earlier. I ended up waiting another 15-20 minutes. While I was waiting, the lady behind me started chatting with me, and the employee at the register assumed we were together and skipped her when her turn came up. It was a bit awkward when the woman found out the wait for empanadas was 45 minutes! That's tough, especially when you already waited long and got your turn skipped. It seemed like they weren't quite prepared for the viral attention they had gotten, and I think they need to step up their game to handle the volume. On the bright side, the food was fantastic! I ordered the fried pork belly, extra fried yucca, and the "La Krunchy Picada" platter, and everything was delicious. The birthday girl and everyone else at the party liked it. Despite the frustrating service experience, the food was good. The place itself is small but beautifully decorated and the pink goes right on with the theme. I think they have a lot of potential, but if they want to keep up with the viral hype, they'll need to better manage their orders and wait times. Overall, while the service was a letdown, the food was good. I don't know if I`ll be coming back again, maybe after the hype wears off I`ll give them another try.

I was really eager to try this spot after reading all the reviews. The food was good, but I was hoping for a bit more. It was presented nicely, though. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. Plus, the decor was lovely and the place was spotless.

The food is still great, but it looks like they've reduced their portion sizes this summer. The empanadas and fries are noticeably smaller now. It seems like there might be new management, and honestly, the prices don’t match the portions anymore. The pastelitos, in particular, are tiny and almost laughable.

Really cute place to eat, but the service definitely needs improvement. We were ignored when we first walked in, and when our food came out, the server placed it on another table while we made space on ours—couldn’t even give us a second. We got almost no attention the whole time. The chicharrón, which was the main reason we came here, was cold. The rest of the food did taste good, but overall the experience wasn’t great. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t come back.

Aside from the fact that the attitude of the lady in the front is disgusting, they don’t have packaging for some of their dishes which was never communicated by the staff. When I had asked for a box to be able to actually walk with my food the lady tells me she has to charge me for packaging she does not even supply!!! I had also asked if the chimi I ordered can have raw cabbage because I soggy cabbage and apparently that also couldn’t be done. For what reason? Who knows last time I checked cabbage is not attached to anything and can be added at the end.. but just another uptown spot that needs to work on their service and menu! Will never go again 🥴

I’ve been dying to try this place for quite some time, but I was extremely disappointed. They took forever. The Chicharon was dry. The Yuka mash didn’t have Much seasoning. The juices were extremely sour tacos tasted like old tortillas. Sorry, definitely do not recommend
