Opinions de Church's Chicken New Boston
Food is great and friendly service staff very professional but you need to wait 20minutes if you want the half chicken and it’s worth it love the chicken crispy outside and juicy inside. Good for my dollar $ .
We don't eat fried chicken too much, but we have been disappointed by KFC in New Boston Everytime we go. Church's chicken is leaps and bounds better. It is a lot cleaner now that they have the new building, and the food is stellar. Highly recommend of you have a craving.
Chicken was hot and fresh! Even though the Stateline location was busy everyone there did a great job at keeping smiles on their faces. I would recommend this location to anyone.
This location is too notch. Friendly staff, quality food, and excellent service!
Our local Church's Chicken is very busy therefore they always have fresh food at all times. The service is fast & friendly.
I travel for a living and have eaten Fried Chicken all over the lower 48 & Alaska. Church's Fried Chicken is the best hands down. Spicy Wings and Cajun Rice top that off with Biscuit and Honey.
Always good service here. The employees do their jobs here without adding personal drama to your order. Always a cute girl here. I've been here about 10 times this year.
Very rare and they were the most amazing people ever experience
Absolutely fantastic as always, this chicken is so good and this location had my order out in no time and the food was fantastic.
Great food and service! That chicken sandwich was the friggin bomb! Crispy juicy tender and the mayo and pickles are all that's needed for it! 😋 So aside from that I love it when I see a manager be a good Samaritan and help those that are unfortunate on occasion, goes to show that not all of humanity is evil👍👍👍💪
The staff make the place. They were friendly and accommodating. My wife wanted Hot French fries so she asked to have them put in the hot oil again. It was no problem. We were returning from the northeast and really wanted some good fried chicken. The 3 piece dinner did the trick. Enjoyed the stop.
I love Church's chicken since I was a child. Nothing made m e happier than to eat their chicken and biscuits with honey. Out of all my experiences with Church's I must say that Church's in New Boston is the best tasting around. The food was hot fresh and out quickly. The prices were fantastic. I even took some home. If you love Church's Like I do please stop by New Boston and try them out.
Just opened this week. Service was slow and the Cajun rice portion I got was embarrassing. Chicken tenders were wonderful though. They should work out the kinks eventually.
Food was hot and good ,,service wasn't too friendly
My family comes here very often so that’s why I left 4 stars. Even tho this review is about my RECENT experience I do want to say that I will continue being a customer, I just won’t get the hot honey lemon pepper ever again from here. I normally don’t give reviews however I would like to say if anyone is interested in trying the hot honey lemon pepper chicken you’re going to be disappointed like I was. I got my order and drove home(15 mins) opened the container to see plain chicken covered in honey. Called up there and brought the food back just for them to say “their” version of hot honey lemon pepper chicken is what I got. There is no lemon pepper AT ALL, also the sauce is straight honey 😂 So please just be careful and don’t go back thinking your order is wrong.
This place is newly built since it burned. Very good chicken served here. I love how they offer spicy or regular and their mashed potatoes and gravy is some of the best I think. I would recommend this place a try. I always order the chicken strips. Only reason they do not get 5 stars is one time we made it home and they forgot to give us coleslaw. That's a minor thing. No big deal.
Ask for 8 piece legs. The lady took my money and gave me my order. I looked in the box, and I had a mix of chicken. I told her I ordered all legs she said it's hard to fill the order when they were busy, I looked, and I was the only one in line.
Employees are overwhelmed with larger orders, and forget some of the items. This has happened a couple times now. When calling to ask for the rest of the order, was told we weren't charged for items, but price paid says otherwise.
Im from MN and we have Popeyes and KFC. Growing up, I've heard that Church's chicken was/is better than them both. Which after visiting church's, I was disappointed at the very least. Prices are not far off if anything from Popeyes or KFC. It was like eating a piece of unseasoned fried chicken. Workers were great though. 👍
The chicken sandwiches at churches are surprisingly good. I like churches in-general but it was also my family's chicken place of choice when I was growing up so... I think a 3 is fair to avoid being biased. :p
"Please" and "Thank You" don't seem to be in their vocabulary. They also can't manage a simple smile. I don't have extremely high expectations but I do expect common courtesy. The food was great and my order was right so they got three stars. They could've gotten more with simple manners.
The chicken was good. The jalapeno poppers were very good, and very hot. The tea was fresh and good. Small serving for the price. Not one person behind the counter was wearing a hair net. That bothers me, maybe it does not bother others. We were ignored for a short while while waiting to order. It seemed the lady was more obsessed with paper work than waiting on customers. My order was not correct after the wait. Should have checked it before I went home.
Food is good if it's cooked fresh. They never have spicy chicken, always saying the day shift didn't make any batter. Too lazy to cook food if it's an hour or less to closing time.
got a large dark chicken piece no side but went there for the shrimp guess what ALL SOLD OUT not sure they would get any before the sale went off how convenient. order fish guess what they dont tell you its cod. nasty any way the young lady at window tried to help us but enough said.
Finally got chicken livers. But the had no flavor. No seasonings. Jalapeños bombs were awful. Like there's no cheese in them. It was hard to find a clean table 😪
Got yelled at through the scrappy speaker, was given sour sweet tea, cold fries, and none of the sauces I paid for
Cashier was very pushy, and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I ordered buffalo wings and the cashier wanted me to order something different because there wasn't any ready. It wasn't a very good experience for my co-workers and I.
Spoiled tea, dry old chicken. Un edible. When return to the store with food straight from drive in the staff laughing did not care. Replaced tea with out of date jug and day old chick was all they had unless you wanted to wait 35 minutes. Avoid at all cost
This visit I just ordered gizzards they were awful under cooked and tuff as nails usually when I go the ladies are cooking this visit it was a little old man dude the fried food is suppose to be golden brown! PS. Glad to see New Boston Churches Chicken get a make over because they were the most disgusting restaurant I've ever visit. Keep being friendly and get dude trained on those GIZZARDS!
I just bought a wrap and jalapeno bombers. I've had cereal that was warmer then both. The bombers were still frozen in the middle, and part of the tortilla on the wrap was stale. I hope this review cost you business after taking my money from me
Stopped in at 8:30 and they were closed. Special trip to get chicken failed.
I was told there drive thru is open until 10 I made it at 9:38. Sat there no one said anything. The open sign was on. I drive to the window the lady looks up and me then quickly looks down at her phone. I called no answer. If you don't want to serve past 9:30 just close at 9:30. So I gave the 2 stars.
The okra was gross. The service was uwful . I order a fourpack of apple pies the girl said I only have 3 its a 6 minutes to wait for another one . I said we'd wait for it and it took 28 minutes and I finally went inside and the girl was getting ready to walk out to me with it. The entire time looking and like she hated life or her job. And spoke to me like i had done something to annoy her. Just her tone made me feel uncomfortable. She needs to at least act like she enjoys her job while shes there and out a smile on her face while dealing with her customers. Food was pretty good though. Thank you!
I recieved coupons in the mail that said they expired in February 23, 2020, but I was told that I could not use that coupon because they weren't valid until February. However, nowhere on this flyer is a start date for the coupons; in fact the only other date on there was December 30, 2019 (I guess a print date). So, why in the world am I getting coupons that look perfectly valid several weeks before they are good? And I had to wait for them to take and make two people's orders before anyone even told me that I couldn't use my coupon.
Worst food experience so far. Kid with the dreads walks in, doesn’t wash his hands and starts grabbing bread and chicken with his hands dirty hands to make our sandwiches all while he still has his sunglasses on, Makes himself a sandwich, takes a few bites and leaves it on the sandwich prep table where he’s making customer sandwiches.breaking every health safety code and Common sense I grab my sandwiches and realize mister dip didn’t put a single drop of mayo on any sandwiches. They were Al bun, chicken, exactly 2 pieces of pickles and nothing else. You’re ridiculous kid
This was the third 4th time I've went thru the drive thru and they said it would be a 20 minute wait. It was 11.40 am!! SERIOUSLY?? DOES ANYONE AT ALL have authority in this POORLY run place! I only wanted a 3 piece... SAD!!!
Got there at 8:00pm amd they were completely out of chicken. Waited in parkibg lot almost 45 minutes before our order was brougjt out after being told it would be 15 minutes on chicken. Ordered mega bites but was given chicken tenders. Food we got was fresh and hot and good but not worth a 45 minute wait.
Not good customer service! I thought they were in the business of keeping the customer happy but I see that they are not! I won't be back! No hair nets and the honey biscuits are not good to me! I'd like the rolls back!
I went and asked for the 10 pc chicken with the side and biscuits. Now I know i wasn't very good at math but I can count to 10 very well. How you gonna short me a piece of chicken and then give me a couple thighs and the rest legs.. Very disappointed. Tried to call and the phone just rang like no one was there.
Last time I got chicken there it was way too greasy. The time before that chicken had a burnt smell and taste. They said the chicken wasn't burnt was cooked in burnt grease.
Chicken has no seasoning whatsoever. We took our chicken back and the manager told us “ they stopped putting seasoning to save money”. She was very rude. The chicken tasted like old grease. We will not eat there again.
The gentleman in the drive thru provided horrible customer service. No welcome to Churches when I pulled up to the Mic. He rushed throughout the ordering process, then when I made it to the window he asked for my drink flavor again(rushed from the beginning). Then to top it off, my entire order was WRONG! Please slow down and let the customers order their order without being interrupted. I won’t be going back!!!
Went through the drive thru, wanted to get some tenders since I saw the 10pc for $13.99 special. Once ordering I figured I'd order a drink and fries too, but I was told to pull to the window and not given a price. When I got to the window, the young woman had a bad attitude already and told me it would be $32. After I asked why it was so much, she told me with an attitude that that's what I ordered. When I asked why adding 2 extra tenders to make it the 12 combo, the drink and sides made it $18 more, she closed the window on me and told the manager to deal with me. With the attitudes and prices, I would never recommend this place.
Young "lady" working with an attitude, taking it out on customers. Manager/owner needs to get a grip on the situation, or shut the doors. I understand it's not a great job, but quit and find another one you like.
I asked the manager Alejandra to please make sure that chicken was fresh. Her exact words were that, “this chicken just came out the grease.” When I got home and started eating the chicken I noticed that the chicken was colder and had not just came out the grease. The mashed potatoes were also cold. So I called and told her and she continued to say it was fresh. Then she says, “ well it maybe sat out for 5 minutes to let the grease drain.” She’s not a good manager and doesn’t have a good attitude. She is the exact reason why I don’t go there now. I don’t recommend.
Employees shouldn't be allowed to wear saggy jeans, not professional. If you have time to lean, you habe time to clean, not pull out your cell phone and surf it behind the counter, then not wash your hands before serving. Chicken wasn't bad, biscuits went way down hill, not sure, but might have been plastic. Whole place just seemed a bit dirty.
This place is full of RUDE and disrespectful kids who frequently score a zero on professionalism. This is a place that sells chicken but for some reason they are always out of chicken. This particular incident, I came to the drive through asking for chicken tenders and was told they were cooking and wouldn't be ready for 15 minutes. I waited the 15 minutes and drove back around to be told that they are not serving chicken tenders anymore tonight. This was at 8:10 PM on a Tuesday. When I brought this up the staff became rude and went back on what they originally said stating that they told me they were " changing the grease ". All while referring to me as ma'am the entire time. I'm a man with a rather deep voice so this was a sign of disrespect rather than an honest mistake. I will never spend my money here again so long as these little kids get to act however they want to. Church's chicken should be ashamed to even have an establishment of such low quality open to the public in the first place. I would give this a 0 on a scale from 0-10. The employees are lazy and shut the kitchen down at whatever time they see fit.
Repeated the simple order three times: one number 5, plus one large coleslaw, and a large drink. The woman was having lots of trouble (language issue) understanding. When I pulled around to pick up the order there was no large coleslaw and a small drink. I told her that it was wrong and she argued "comes that way." Since she seemed to be struggling with it I just paid and let it go. But when I got home to eat it, the chicken was way undercooked and spicy (I didn't order spicy). I had to cook it myself so that it was safe to eat. I won't be eating there again any time soon.
I have an 85 year old grandmother that thinks Church's chicken is the only chicken place there is. We visit churches regularly 2 times a week most every week buying $20 meals spending about $45 a week here this is usually great we have no complaints, we always ask for more legs than thighs, this being what grandmother likes best, and they do the best they can to accommodate us. But today was different, today there was a girl there we have not seen before let say her name starts with an E, when she insisted over and over that we owed her $30 we told her that no the Meals were always $21 and change. She kept insisting we GIVE her $30 and told us that we did not order our meal correctly. She became very agitated with us and this of course agitated us, she PROCEEDED to TELL us that she did not have to deal with our attitude and slamming the window shut she walked away throwing her hands up looking back and mouthing something we could not hear. I am so so saddened that we were treated this way at our weekly regular place.
