My husband and I attended the @hopeful_acres gala recently. We won a $50 gift certificate to @grillhuisache @huisachegrill303. My first experience with Huisache Grill was having its charcuterie board as part of the picnic with @amazingco a few years ago. We visited this past Saturday for lunch. We started with the fried oysters as our appetizer. Dad ate the Turkey Sandwich with fries. Hubby had the Cheezy Burger. I had the Duck Salad. Everything was phenomenal and Jeffrey ensured we were covered, filling our drinks. It's definitely worth a trip from San Antonio to New Braunfels. Check it out!

Amazing place - highly recommend! Our party of three couples with three huge dogs stopped by for early dinner on one of the 100+ degree hot days and we were amazed! The staff was very welcoming to our dogs, offered Ivey water to them, found a peaceful place, brought extra fans, and so on. Thank you, Josephina, for creating the best first experience at this place. The Chief is ANAZING! Every dish was made with love. We will definitely visit again. Thank you 🙏

Every dish here was right on point. The recommended salmon salad was delicious along with the pecan cheesecake. A good small beer selection with an pretty good size selection of wine. Small bar and restaurant seating area. Very nice esthetics inside and out. All for a very reasonable price. Only downfall is a small parking lot. But if thats the worst of it then so be it. A good local spot when you find yourself around this downtown area.

This place was solid! Very nice ambience, great food and very reasonable prices! There may be a wait on the weekends. They have a nice patio as well. Steak medallions and grilled duck were both great! The bread is super good too 😅 Will definitely be coming back here!!

Been going to this place since it opened, always great food. I've recently heard great things about their cheese burger, had to finally try it out... Oh boy was that the best decision I've made in a while. It was fantastic. All the foods we ordered were fantastic.

I absolutely love this place! I've visited several times, and each experience has been fantastic. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is consistently delicious—it's truly an all-around great spot. Today, I discovered they offer daily lunch specials at an incredible price of $13.50, which is a refreshing change when prices are rising everywhere else. I'll definitely be stopping by more often during my lunch hour at work. Today's special was chopped steak topped with Zinfandel butter, served with herbed potatoes, roasted broccoli, and your choice of soup or salad. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the special—he chose the salad, while I opted for the soup—and both were delicious. We also started with the shrimp and green onion cakes with jalapeño tartar sauce as an appetizer. They were exquisite; the sauce had a great kick to it without being overpoweringly spicy, just bursting with flavor. This place gets packed for dinner and usually has a long wait, but there's a great patio area and bar to enjoy while you wait. Fortunately, there's usually no wait during weekday lunch hours. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Mongolian beef wasn't like any Asian Mongolian beef I've tried. Laced that soy flavor. It wasn't bad but tasted more like beef stew or goulash. The 3 salad plate included tuna, seafood, and spinach salad. The apple crisp dessert was good.

Feels like a place your boujee grandparents would love. I wasn't feeling the vibe there. Felt like a 55+ community dining, but despite that the food was very good. Of the mixed plate, the shining star was the poblano chicken. It was delicious. The steak medallions on the other hand had an odd flavor. Not a fan. I was also not a fan of the mixed veggies due to an overwhelming mint flavor. The spinach artichoke dip was more than worth the visit!
