If I could give the service 10 stars I would. Both of the guys working seemed genuinely happy to be serving people when I consider to be outstanding barbecue. I’ve eaten at every heralded barbecue place in Texas to include the Michelin star places in Austin. If you had a blind brisket test between this one and one of those, you likely, wouldn’t know the difference. Perfectly cooked with a perfectly smoked flavor. The chicken was different in a good way. Still smoked chicken with just the right amount of jerk flavor. The corn and bread were both outstanding and I would get them again. Mac & cheese was good, but it was a little too spicy for my pallet so I can’t give it a fair rating but that’s more about me than them. Very unassuming location inside a convenient store with a smoker on a trailer out front and as soon as you get out of your car and smell, the Smoke, you know they are doing it right. If you’re in the area and looking for barbecue, give these guys a shot and you won’t be disappointed.

We got there at 3 PM on a Saturday and they were already sold out of barbecue, but we ordered the jerk chicken and one of each of their sides.. flavors straight from the Caribbean where one of the owner’s is from… AMAZING food and INCREDIBLE service! These two young men were so friendly and had their act together.. we WILL be back next weekend to try their barbecue… So far, so GREAT!!!! Shawn and Nate need to stay around for a long time… Best barbecue in town and I haven’t even tried their brisket yet.. can’t wait!!! My mouth is already watering. 😋

My friend and I went for lunch. I had the Brisket Taco. It was delicious Chopped Brisket, topped with Coconut Street Corn, Cheese, Caribbean Slaw and BBQ sauce. Mimi had the ribs she said the flavor was wonderful. Excellent Customer Service by Nate and Sean . They were very friendly and helpful. We will be back the food was fabulous.

Don't let the venue (shared with a gas station) stop you. The food is great. These guys will have their own location someday and thrive. Food has lots of great flavor. Not too spicy. Jerk chicken and brisket are moist and tasty. Rib meat fell of the bone. Johnny bread is sweet and is crispy on the outside. Loved the street corn. Very friendly service. Will definitely be back often.

Was nearby and hit Google Maps for quick food spots. This popped at the top and I figured - why not! Really glad I did! Got the mac, Spanish rice, and a two-meat sandwich, with Jerk Chicken, brisket, and the spicy sauce! Everything was super tasty and the Johnny Bread on the sandwich was a delicious surprise. Everyone was super nice and chill. Definitely recommend!

Incredible food and service. Its inside the ExxonMobil, so we thought we passed it. We ate at the one table inside. The people were great and seemed super happy we were there. Im going to be dreaming about this place. Everything we got was delicious, moist, flavorful, perfect.

The Johnny bread is FIRE. I got the meat Lovers and when I say it's jerking...It's Jerking💯 All the meats were well seasoned. The coconut corn and mac and cheese tasted different but 🔥 also. I shall return after I get back from Kansas City Missouri.

I am blessed to have found this hidden gem. Wow. One of the best jerk chicken dishes I have ever had. Deep flavor. Made with love. That Johnny bread is to die for. The sides are bangin. Y’all really know how to make people happy. They also let me sample the brisket for free and I’m gonna have to go back and pay for a pound of it. So amazingly delicious. Love the Caribbean flavors with the Texas bbq and your customer service is top notch. See you soon ✌️

Yes it’s in a gas station but everyone starts somewhere. Great customer service but the food was so good that I have no words. My belly was full but I debated whether I should get another plate before I drove away( I ate in the parking lot). Sure they could add a little more meat but the flavor was phenomenal. These dudes can throw down in a kitchen.

All I can say is DAMN!!!! Located Inside a gas station called Market Stand. Found it by chance. Started out with an amazing aroma. Decided to give it a shot. So happy I did. Sean was extremely cool and took his time explaining the menu. Had the brisket sandwich on their homemade bread with a side of their corn. Amazing!!!! The brisket was hands down the best I’ve ever had, insanely tender, perfect smoke, and topped off with their own house sauce that was outstanding. Their homemade Johnny bread was soft and delicious, and enhanced the meat perfectly. The corn was also a wonderful compliment to the meal. Will definitely be back and highly recommend you give them a try. Other than the great food and fantastic service what really got my attention was the little sign they had posted along with a jar next to the register! (see picture)

MY GIRLFRIEND AND I, VISITED THIS PLACE IT IS AWESOME, AT FIRST WE WERE NOT SURE CAUSE ITS IN A CONVENIENCE STORE , BUT NO WORRIES, THE MEATS ARE FALL OFF THE BONE , THE STREET CORN , RICE, AND JOHNNY CAKES ARE DELICIOUS. GREAT PLACE TO GRAB AND GO TO THE PARK OR RIVER , NOT MUCH SEATING THOE , ONLY THREE SMALL TABLES . BUT THE SERVICE IS GREAT , VERY POLITE, AND RESPECTFUL GENTLEMAN .

Hands down the best brisket I have yet to have! My partner and I saw the raving reviews on this place so we decided to try and this place most definitely lives up to their reviews. We received excellent service, the guys were super friendly and welcoming. My partner had the jerk chicken and he loved it! I had the brisket plate and I instantly fell in love at first bite. Saw the segment on Texas Eats and had to come try them out. Definitely did not disappoint! Had the jerk chicken taco, brisket taco which were both delicious! The coconut street corn and Mac and cheese were on fire! My first time there, definitely not my last. I will be back!!

Writing this on the edge of a food coma because Cool Vibes Smoke & Flame was THAT good. The owners hooked us up with a meat plate with a little of everything—brisket was incredible and the jerk chicken did not disappoint. The sides sealed the deal: slaw as the perfect palate cleanser, amazing Johnny bread, corn, rice, and the mac & cheese. Honestly, just get everything—you can’t go wrong. Great food, great vibes, and clearly made with love. 🔥🤤

The Mac and cheese is so flavorful. The coleslaw is a favorite of everyone in the family. The smoke from their smoker as I drive by makes my mouth water. The bbq sauce with the chicken is the perfect amount of spicy. The street corn is off the charts. I’ve not eaten anything here I didn’t love. One of the best restaurants in the entire town. Also, these guys just have the best attitude. The whole experience will leave you smiling and feeling like the world is a better place than you thought. Do yourself a favor and eat here ASAP.

My wife and I could have eaten anywhere between San Antonio and New Braunfels today. We saw an episode of Texas Eats that featured Cool Vibes. So we thought we would try it. It was worth the wait and the drive. The BBQ was out of this world!! Every item had its own unique incredible flavor. These guys are going to go a long way!!

Some of the BEST sides we have ever had too!!! The coconut corn - MAGNIFIQUE!!! The slaw - FABULOUS!!! The Spanish rice was good too!!! And their cornbread … OH LA LA!!!! A must try when in New Braunfels!! Yes, they are in a gas station but who cares?!? The quality of their food and the guys were so nice!!!! Please stop in and support them!!! You will LUV them & their food!!!! 😉

Just tried Cool Vibes for the first time and had the brisket breakfast sandwich. The portion is a little small but the flavor is huge. The sevive is great! I will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu. A lot of places put a spin on bbq but Cool Vibes has the unique taste the area needs. I didn't know what I was missing til now

The jerk chicken was also flavorful and juicy. The street corn was 'lick the cup' good! Both these guys were working hard and super nice and friendly. I recommend you check it out. Don't let the location fool you. These guys are making some dang good BBQ.

Omg it was the best brisket sandwich I ever had with a good twist. the street corn was amazing as well. I would have never known this spot if I didn’t meet Sean and his wife at the dog park, very good people.I will definitely be coming back.I would have had a picture of what I got but it was already gone lol.

I showed up a little bit too early to get the bbq, but their breakfast tacos were served fresh and loaded up! I’ll be back to try out some of those brisket tacos! Ok…so went back at lunch and it was the best plate I have had in along time. The brisket was cooked perfectly. I don’t even like coleslaw, but I loved this coleslaw, and the cornbread had a touch of coconut! DeShawn and Nate have a really good thing going!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! The ribs are no joke - best in town and certainly better than any BBQ joint. Since moving into the neighborhood we’ve started coming a few times a month, easily sliding into our local rotation of places to pick up from. The guys that work here are so easygoing, and super kind! Picking up their food always brings a smile to my face. Of course we were hesitant with it located in a gas station (have never really had that great of food from a restaurant inside of a gas station haha) but I’m glad we didn’t let that stop us from trying it. Holy smokes… the foods incredible!!
