Good place for a bite of tex-mex! Customer service is great. Drinks are huge with tons of choices. There's a drive thru. We get tacos here for breakfast often and would recommend 👌

We eat here regularly and are never disapointed. Today I had the fajita salad which was just the right portion size and very tasty. Maria was our server and this lovely lady had a warm and confident personslity which enhanced our dining experience. My only complaint is that it is always a little too cold in the dining room. My wife knows to always bring a sweater when dining in.

This was my first time to Las Palapas, I totally enjoyed it. The food was excellent. The staff was pleasant. They sat us right away and the waiter came quickly to get our drink order. The only thing I have to say the the waiter that we had was a polite young man but he was trying to do to much at one time! This caused him to me not attentive to when people were ready to pay. We waited for a good while. We were in a hurry, but trying to be patient. Well we finally went to the front to pay. He was there I was paying by cash and joking with with to make to atmosphere a little better for him. My friend on the other side was not a happy camper by not being attentive with her signing her receipt and not picking it up right away so nobody would take it or her info. But other the that I enjoyed eating there and would recommend it to anyone. Enjoy life and make someone smile!

Each time that I have gone to this Las Palapas drive-through, I have been greeted with so much joy and respect and when I go in the evenings, I love to be greeted by Caroline. Anyone would be lucky to be served by her, she absolutely enjoys the customers and has given some of the best Las Palapas customer service that I have seen in a very long time. The food is great and the entire restaurant is very welcoming.

My husband and I went to Las Palapas today for a late lunch. We arrived at about 3:00 PM. In the first section with 7 tables all of the tables were full except 1. We were greeted by a nice young lady named Rose. She seated us, got our drink order and said she would be back as soon as possible. It didn't take us long to figure out that she was the only server there. It also didn't take long to figure out that she was able to handle every table quickly, efficiently and always with a smile. It wasn't long and 3 more tables were filled in the next section. As people were getting ready to leave, we heard her say thank you to each table for their patience and she hoped they would all come back. Everyone we could hear told her they loved the service and she did a great job. If y'all have an employee of the month, she sure should get that honor, she's awesome. And bonus she's just as sweet as her name and has a smile that will light up a room. Please let Rose at the New Braunfels location know what a gem she is. We will be back again soon for the Tuesday Fajita special and hope we see Rose again.🌹

We frequent here very often. The food is great. The prices are great and they always have great specials. There is a waiter there, a young man who almost always serves us. He recognizes us as soon as we come through the door. He is always great and we haven't ever had bad service there. The bar drinks are great as well. Definite go to for breakfast, a quick lunch, and even dinner and drinks. Family atmosphere as well as good for adult dates. One of our favorite places.

Karen has been our server several times already and we love her professionalism, patience and her customer service. Manager Tiffany adds to the experience, she’s engaged with her employees and her customers. We will continue to return to the New Braunfels location when we are in the area because of their service. Las Palapas seems to pop up in my mind for a quick bite that really hits. The Chicken Ranch Taco is one of my favorites. Sometimes it even calls to me. For dine in, you also can't beat the lunch specials. It's always good food for a great price.

I've only ever gone through the drive through for breakfast tacos during lunch time but they're great! The usual girl and guy working the drive through are so friendly, the food is a good deal for the price, they have an app with a really generous point system, and most of the time I've got my food in hand in less than 5 minutes from the time I order. Love my local Las Palapas 🙏

On this beautiful Sunday as we gathered with friends to enjoy a nice lunch. We entered into this establishment with such Joy. We are from San Antonio visiting Bu-cee’s. Alex was our waitress. As an expectant mother she was on her feet and serving us with the up most delightful attitude you can imagine. We as in our friend group had her laughing and joking with us to make the experience that much more enjoyable. If you can only imagine being 1 week from your due date she must be tired. Although I know we were a lot for her she never once complained, made any faces or made any obstruct gestures as if she was bothered in any way. Now that ladies and gents takes hard work and courage! It’s definitly not easy, I can tell you being a mother myself. Applause Alex you were the best waitress in this location. We will definitely return after she has her baby, hopefully to have her as our waitress again. Again thank you for making our first time in this location one of the best memories for us.

Was at Town Center for shopping and wanted to try a new restaurant. Chose Las Palapas. A great choice. As they advertise, everything is made fresh and it shows. From the welcome chips and salsa to the tomatillo sauce on the enchiladas verdes, excellent. Even the lettuce and tomatoes on the hot fajita plates were crunchy. Service was prompt and attentive, so overall a great Tex-Mex dining experience.

Standard Mexican cuisine, it's good but nothing I would rant about. What makes this restaurant really stand to us was that the server remembered us, as well as our previous order, and we only been here twice , and not in close visits. The service was also fast and courteous, which is impressive these days.

Second time here. I had the Chile Relleno. And I have to say it’s gotta be one of the best I’ve had. Served really hot and fresh. Great portion size and flavor was so good. I recommend the charro beans. They are a great departure from the usual refried beans and come mixed with jalapeños.

Had lunch around 1pm and lunch specials were available. Had the Chicken Soup special for $9.99. It is like a caldo but also like Tortilla soup with the rice and the avocado on top. Chicken meat was nice size small chunk portions. No bones. Vegetables to include nice size stewed tomatoes very tasty along with its broth. It comes with a side portion of refried beans topped with white queso, a good size chicken flats with additional avocado dip and sour cream. Food was nice and hot and not too hot to burn your tongue. Normally 10.49 but for lunch 9.99. Great meal!! My father had the enchiladas and were soft enough for me to cut up for him with the fork only no need for a knife. He ate almost the whole meal. Ps they do serve Senior plates for $5.49 nice enough portions for them our waitress was very accommodating, helping us with a place to set up his walker. Was very considerate and brought them a Styrofoam cup because their size cups when filled with drink very heavy for the elderly to maneuver. I never thought of that and was appreciative of her thoughtful gesture. Everytime we come Las Palapas staff always very nice. You do receive nice size portion of non stale chips at table b4 meal. There is handicapped parking available right up front and close enough to the door. Also noticed that they have a good Happy Hour menu. Last Palapas is usually our go to place when at Creekside. They also have a drive thru.

As a franchise Las Palapas is kinda hit or miss. This location however seems to be the exception. We have never had a bad meal or bad service at this restaurant. The food is always good, they never skimp on the portions and the servers are friendly. Definitely one of my go to places to eat.

The food was pretty good! You can tell they make the tortillas themselves, because they are soft, fluffy, and warm. The beans also had good flavor to them, and the cheese was decent. I can tell it was at least real cheese. They give you free chips and salsa, and the chips were well-seasoned. The salsa was not chunky, it was the smoother variety, like a sauce. I did order their queso, but $5 for that tiny cup that doesn't get refilled is just too expensive, so I would not recommend ordering that. The queso itself was alright, but nothing special- I would liken it to Velveeta and Rotel. :/ Another not so great thing was that it was confusing as to whether we should pay at the counter or wait until the server comes and gets the card. We ended up just paying at the counter because we were waiting for kind of a long time. Also only got like 1 refill on the chips and salsa and drinks, so meh on the slow service. I would go back, but I would probably go through the drive through for some quick tacos.

Food is ok..service is slow, paying your bill is like being held captive your card and the server disappear for 15 to 20 minutes. Pay in cash or simply avoid, I know I will.

I am a frequent dinner. Yesterday (4/30) I met a friend for lunch. The server was Chris. He was also my server last week. This was the worst experience I have ever had at LP. First was was waiting on my friend to arrive and the waiter asked what I wanted to drink..I ordered an I've tea. He brought 2 of them. My friend doesn't drink tea. Next I had to ask for menus and cutlery. He seemed put out that we needed the items. After our meal was served we had to ask for tortillas..they finally showed after we were done and that's on after we asked a second time. He never checked back to see if we wanted anything else. No friendly news in his service. This was same attitude that I observed the previous visit.

We love eating here for dinner. The service is always fast, friendly, and the food is great! However the last 2 times we had breakfast here, it was vastly different. We got seated very quickly but it took a very long time to order our drinks and then our food. It took about 30 minutes after ordering for our food to come out. And our waitress barely made an appearance after to check for refills etc. We really enjoy eating here, but probably wont be back for breakfast.

So this place started great, I love their chicken bacon ranch tacos.... Or did. Past few times chicken has been way undercooked. Just looked off to me. Whereas before they were nicely grilled fajita chicken you'd expect in this sort of taco. Also their drive through has never been zippy but last night it was so .... So.... So.... So... So... Slow.... Sorry for the dramatism but man oh mighty. Took like 15 minutes for the car in front of me. I'm thinking they must be a Karen with a bad order. Nope. Normal one plate and drink gets passed. Bad sign. I ordered their 2 most popular tacos. Just 2 tacos. No drink. No extras. Their most popular items. Took another 15 minutes. I counted 11 distinct workers inside. What on earth was going on that made them so inefficient they had trouble keeping the drive through line flowing. Or asking us at minimum to wait and bring it out when its ready to try and get the line moving. Must have lost so much money last night by being too backed up new people couldn't even get in the line without blocking the road or parking lot to other businesses. Lost revenue due to in efficiency. That sucks and I hate to see it cuz normally they are fine and tasty. Let's get some eyes on this location and figure out what is going on there around dinner time.

Service was good. Walked in. Sat down, and someone was right there to get my order. But here is where this is going to sound weird. Service was too fast and you could taste it. It took about 4 mins for my plate to come out after ordering. The food was blah. Slapped on the plate and served. The usual Las Palapas flavor just was not there and the green salsa was extremely vinagery. Not flavourful at all. Was pretty disappointed with the food this time. I know. We all ha e our days. Our order was correct and food was fine. The wait time in the drive through was 25 minutes. There were only 3 cars in front of us. I would expect that if we dined in, but it was the drive through.

We were going regularly. The food is really good with a excellent price. The customer service really fell apart. We will only go in the middle of the week on a rare occasion now.

I love this place when they get stuff together, but they are inconsistent- some times they are amazing: no errors, food delicious and service is wonderful. But sometimes- EVERYTHING goes wrong. Last weekend ordered 8 pancakes for kids, paid $20. Came home there were only 4 pancakes. I called back and in a nicely asked for them to refund half of the money and they told me it would take up to 10 business days- WHAT? You got my money instantly, but I have to wait over 2 weeks to get my money back for YOUR mistake? Not fair. Yet the previous time I dined in, our food was amazing and the service was even better. Where is the disconnect? Get your stuff together and get consistent with your food, quality, service and just overall experience. I want to love you, but I am super mad at you right now.

This would have been the perfect place if it were not for the food. We had a WONDERFUL waitress. It was a nice little spot. Music wasn’t too loud. Everything was great. I ordered the macho burrito with carne guisada and I really paid for a rice and bean burrito. There was maybe three pieces of meat small pieces in my burrito. It's unfortunate that the food is good but the service is so lacking. Consistently the drive through is extremely slow. This most recent time, I pulled up and was greeted fairly quickly and asked to wait for one moment, no big deal. However, five minutes later I'm still waiting and now 4 cars have pulled in behind me. Im sure they are thinking what's taking this guy so long. The person finally comes back on the intercom and I give my order, and pull up to the window to wait another couple minutes before he comes over and takes my card. Then a couple minutes more of waiting, and I get the breakfast tacos I ordered. The food can only take you so far... It's not worth the wait and frustration in the morning. You used to be able to call in your order, but now they won't let you pick up in the drive thru and it also seems like they don't even start your order until you are there. What's the point?

This is just laziness. If I was the owner I would fire these kids. If you’re going to do something, do it right, no matter what it is. I was always taught that. These kids need to learn.

For those that don't understand, that means no guns no concealed no open no licensed no constitutional carry. They are saying thrives come here no one will be able to fight back. Called in an order at 7:45 am and only ordered 1 taco. Was told on the phone it would b ready in 5 minutes. Got there, paid, and waited until 8:15 and never received my 1 taco. Everyone going through the drive thru got food, another customer that ordered like 20 tacos got their food, but I was still waiting. I finally asked for a refund because I had waited 30 minutes and when I asked for a refund, the cashier goes “things happen”. Not, let me check on your order for you, it shouldn’t take 30 minutes for 1 taco, nothing. Just rude and no apology. Called and spoke to the “manager” after I explained my frustration alls she said was “what do you want from me?” Alls I want is good customer service and my food that I paid for in a timely manner. We won’t be back. They need more training in people skills.

Food was not good, I ordered the fajita parilla and the meat was not seasoned at all it was more "charcoaled" than cooked, still edible. The flautas my daughter ordered had no flavor and no toppings, only queso on the side. The only thing that was ok to eat was the chicken nuggets. The only good thing it was the service was ok not great but friendly. This place did not do justice to mexican cuisine.

Ordered breakfast to go on uber eats for pickup. I go there and the lady doing to go orders says there are no orders for uber eats on the screen. After about 5 minutes she says it came in and she was kind so that is a plus. However upon going home and checking the food they forgot the side of chorizo which is 3 dollars and the food was really cold, keep in mind i ate it about 5 minutes after receiving it. Additionally, the eggs in my huevos rancheros were barely cooked, with a lot of runny egg white when i orderd them over easy, they were sunny side up. i really wanted to like it as this is a smaller type of chain restaurant but from the 15 minute of waiting after getting there its simply not good and i cant reccomend this to anyone.

This is the last time I will ever eat here. I had to get up to go and find a server to wait on us, after waiting for an unreasonable amount of time after we were seated. We were sitting in a booth in the bar area and the music was loud and completely annoying. I asked Tiffany (server,) a question about the music and she responded rudely. This is the second time she has been rude. The first time she was working the drive thru. Employees were congregated at the front area and disrespectful when I asked them a question upon leaving. This location is definitely not what it used to be. I never leave reviews. I have come to realize that this location has become complacent because they receive so much traffic flow from the Creekside shopping area so they do not seem to care.

I gave the review the stars I gave. Because I ordered a large Tortilla soup, which is almost about a 32 ounce size cup. Maybe a little less and when I got home. It was 2/3 broth. Little chicken little rice. I won't be ordering that again!

Ordered a sausage, and egg taco. Two little pieces of sausage in the whole taco. Second time this has happened. I’m not expecting it to be full, but AT LEAST more than two baby slices of sausage. BEWARE if you order this. Get a different taco worth your money.

As far as Mexican food places it’s not bad. But the service is terrible. They are always extremely slow. Slow to take orders, slow to bring drinks, and slow to bring food. They have enough people working it shouldn’t take as long as it does for anything. And the drive thru is horrible, the last time I went through it took 15 minutes for a couple tacos and there was only one car in front of me. I won’t be going back but I figured I’d give them one last chance, and they didn’t do much better inside

Thanks .. late for work.. ten extra miles and wrong cold tacos. I stop 3 times a week.. today you collected my money you handed back my card and said thank you have a nice day.. not your tacos will be right out.. so 5 miles away before I realized... I get back and your employee thinks it's GD FUNNY .. you are not my day... I get to work and the tacos are cold and not even the right ones and no sauce .. too many other choices I won't be back EVER..... the taco below was supposed to be bacon egg potato and cheese with red and green salsa

This is the worst las palapas location. My bean and cheese tacos looked like they’d been squeezed as hard as possible after they were wrapped in foil. Went through the drive thru and was given no napkins for the ridiculous mess that I paid too much money for. They were out of brown salsa so I requested green. They did not give me any. I’d rather eat a Taco Bell. Just go across the street and get a Buccees taco and save yourself the frustration.

Food was disgusting. Flautas had an old taste to them like the fry oil hadn’t been changed, rice was hard and burnt like they gave old rice from the bottom of the pan. The server was slow. Food took about 40 minutes to come out just for it to be nasty. Don’t recommend at all.

I was in this restaurant today. The servers were at all the tables EXCEPT my table. I sat for 12 minutes with no service. The waiter came to the table next to mine 3 times. A table was sat next to me after I’d been here for 7 minutes and IMMEDIATELY a server approached them! I liked coming here but I won’t waste my money on people who don’t want it.

I order food online, and I order shrimp enchiladas. They give me chicken, I call back and talk to the manager tiffany at night on duty. When I talked to the same girl who took my order, I simply told her what happened, and honestly, Tiffany automatically became hostile and confrontational with me. After she was done yelling at me. I simply ask if I can get a remake or refund. She told me that because I confirmed the order 2 times. She was not giving me a refund or a reorder. (She made up her own rule). I simply was baffled. Then I asked for the manager and she told me she was the manager. That's not how you treat customers. That's not ok at any time. Maybe she was having a bad day, but that was my experience. I love this place. I never had an issue before.

This review is based on the dyed red hair lady working the register and to go and the food portion. She is efficient but not friendly at all and if this company has no problem with new customers being greeted (rather not greeted) by her then your business will eventually suffer because of it. I suggest she be retrained in proper customer service and a bring them back mentality. This is what you get at this restaurant for $9.00 (danish not included). Ridiculous. Torchys is right under the highway and way better.

Got tacos from the drive thru and they were dripping in grease. I realized the bag was soaked in grease when the tacos fell through the bottom of the bag. Called and explained what happened and they said to order something else next time, and that “the taco didn’t touch the ground, the foil did”

I just went thru drive thru got home and my puffy taco is missing the meat and has avocado. Then they didn’t add guacamole to burrito that I paid extra for. Then after telling them I want salsa, none in bag. The lady was really incompetent. I paid $18.00 for crap.
