We had the best waiter. He was very attentive. Checked on us multiple times. He brought us refills on our drinks without us even asking! He was well informed on the menu! We told the girl at the front desk how wonderful he was. It is nice to see a young man who takes helping his customers so seriously. I don't have his name but he was young and had short blonde hair. Thank you young man for some of the best waiter service we ever had!!!

Service and food were great. Our waitress was fantastic. I almost left my leftovers because we had a 2 hour drive back home. The waitress fixed a makeshift cooler of to-go bags and ice that didn't leak a bit. Again, great service. We'll be back!

I was incredibly impressed by how the staff at this location handled my food allergies to dairy and soy. Our waitress notified the kitchen staff, who then cleaned the grill before preparing my salmon, the manager came to let me know they were taking proper precautions and that it would take a little extra time because of that (we still received our food in a timely manner). The communication between the staff and myself was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced when dealing with my allergies. The manager also showed me on the tabletop kiosk the allergy menu that shows which menu items contain the top allergens. I was just blown away by the seriousness in which they took my food allergies. I can’t speak for all Olive Gardens as a whole, but the New Hartford location is absolutely amazing, I highly highly recommend!

I went with a friend for a late lunch. We ordered the soup and salad. I didn't get the soup I ordered but the one I did get I did end up really liking. All the staff were very nice and on point! Not bad at all for a quick lunch!!

I've been going to the new Hartford olive garden for about 2 years, and I had the best experience last night. We had Julie as a server, and from start to finish, the service and attitude she brought was amazing. It by far the best experience I've had in a very long time!

It was our first visit to Olive garden. We were very impressed with the service and staff. Prices were very reasonable. Love the food. It is our 50th wedding anniversary today. Very kind to us.

We only go to olive garden once in awhile but this last trip was special. My native american waitress spent too much time at our table until the manager asked why ...after that they both spent too much time sharing our native cultures! The food is good the service is good and ill be back as soon as I get a chance!

The servers got us to our table very quickly and the food came out almost right after we ordered. The food is fantastic and fresh and the salad dressing is to live for . Will be coming back for sure. Good prices too. Waitresses and waiters have fantastic attitudes. 10/10 recommend.

This was the best dining experience we have had as a family. Took my dad out for his birthday and our waitress Nicole was absolutely amazing!!! Very accommodating to the large group and even the baby. She checked in frequently and gave us the best suggestions. Her service alone is what made the experience worthwhile. If you visit, ask for Nicole!

I recently visited the restaurant for appetizers and Virginia (our waitress) was probably the greatest waitress I’ve ever had in my life, she was extremely kind and was always willing to give suggestions also when leaving we left our breadsticks behind and she came right out to us in the parking lot and made sure we didn’t leave without them. I will definitely be returning soon just to have the pleasure of having her as a waitress again!

We had a great time for lunch in with family. Very attentive in the especially took care of my 4-year-old granddaughter. She wanted more grapes and they had no questions about it and brought her extra. The food was fabulous as always, we love the salad.

I took my uncle out for dinner here on his birthday. Our waitress, Julie, said she'd sing happy birthday to him, but he really didn't want to be sung to. She was so funny and accommodating and did not embarrass him with singing, which he was very grateful for. This is an experience we had with Olive Garden on 4636 Commercial Dr. Been to the store a few times so this is a belated review. Located in the plaza next to Men’s Warehouse on Commercial Drive, it is quite easy to find. Parking is also not difficult has they have an outdoor parking lot with plenty of spots. This is probably one of the best Olive Gardens that we have been to! Not only because the food is great in general, their service is top notch. This time we ordered the minestrone soup, sirloin steak, fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti, mozzarella sticks, and tiramisu. The sirloin steak is surprisingly tasty and flavorful without any extra sauce or seasoning; pretty upscale for steak at this price range. The unlimited salad and soup are always a blessing. Everything was decent including the mozzarella and spaghetti. The tiramisu has always been our favorite… the sweetness that melts in your mouth. The waitress Shawna, is extremely attentive, considerate and friendly. She consistently asks us if the food was good and informed us promptly when items may take a while (best quality in a waitress - manage customer’s expectations). She boxed up our food nicely and was a pleasant conversationalist. Last but not least, the manager, Kim, also came out and helped us while the restaurant was busy (excellent quality of a manager - helpful when needed vs sitting back and relaxing). Because of the great food and services, we will definitely return again. Keep up the good work Shawna, manager Kim, and Olive Garden Commercial Drive!

Made a fairly large pick up order for a get together. All the food was well packaged, hot and tasted great. They even included all serving utensils, plates, bowls, fork/spoons, bottled salad dressing, etc. Can't say enough about the service. Well done Olive Garden and Thanks. I'll definitely order again.

I take my other half here at least once a month or so. And she loves it here. The food is great and really filling. And the waiters and waitress are very polite and outgoing and always walks around with a smile on their faces.

My servers Travis and Cheyenne were delightful. They brought scrumptious food all around with a big smile and cheerful attitude. Great food, great service. Our server(cannot remember her name) was very helpful in picking entrees as it was 2 of the 3 of us’s first time at Olive Garden. She even asked outright from the beginning if we were going to be on the same or separate checks. That seriously made the checking process that much smoother. Our food got to us at a reasonable time. It was SO good. I was skeptical, coming from an Italian family. But I’ll definitely be back.

The service was fast and nice. The servers were very helpful. My dad couldn't make it last minute, and they were kind enough to remake a drink to-go for him free of charge. I got the lasagna, a classic. This location has a better layout than the other OG that used to be in the plaza across the road. The lighting also gives it a brighter vibe.

Re-discovery of a gourmet Italian restaurant! I am sure I'm gonna miss the food there soon.. due to my return to my home country. The bread dipped into the melted butter that the waitress offered us was really really savoury this time. 😋😋😋

I just went there about an hour ago, it was super clean, food was absolutely amazing I got Alfredo and the lasagna cake for dessert and it was so good. We had an amazing server Nick, and he was great and fast! Other servers were there and were also were nice quick!

We had a great experience today with our server Zilah ("Z") did a fantastic job and treated us like when we were here we were family. The recipes of stuff (like the amazing bread sticks, salads, and soups) hasn't changed since we were kids, and the fresh cheese crank is still a delight. For those trying to be cost conscious, there are still options: eg. Fried manicotti (pictured) with soup or salad and bread sticks for $12.99 as of today. You can obviously spend a lot more and buy wine and stuff, but we don't tend to do that. Beautiful, clean store restaurant inside and out. Thank you!

This is my favorite Olive Garden in the area! The foods always amazing here, today we had Pat as a server and he far exceeded our expectations. Dom't typically care mich for the franchise restaurants, but Olive Garden is spot on with their food and service. The place was packed when we arrived, but because we were a party of 2 we got seated immediately. Our server was great attentive and friendly. Also, we haven't been able to eat for so cheap in a long long time. We will frequent here!!

We stopped into this location for lunch while in the area and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself was updated, nice, and clean. Our waiter (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) was great. - Quick, friendly and attentive. The perfect level of service without being at the table too much, or too little. (That sounds picky but it can make a difference.) The food came out quickly. Salad and apps followed timely by our main course. And the food itself was really great. I’ve never had an overly positive opinion of Olive Garden. But boy did this one change my opinion. Apps were delicious, as well as our main course. And of course the salad and breadsticks were good as well. - We don’t live locally so probably won’t be back unfortunately, but if you’re in the area and hungry, this location should not disappoint.

My father and I called to check for reservations, they were not needed, we were offered a table right away but chose to take a seat at the bar. Food was great service was fast. However! I noticed staff talking to each other, and gathering in clusters. It did not appear the conversations were work related, but rather social in nature. I believe that in order for the ongoing success of "in house dinning" more distance between staff would be helpful in the long run. Just an observation.

They had good food and staff. All though the staff attendance and it would be nice if they could be there. They do good with special orders like milk and peanut allergies. The food is almost always perfect except when I ordered a meal with no bacon and I still got a bit but it was quickly fix. Over all I had a fine dining experience. I would recommend and come again.

Went to this Olive Garden for the first time Saturday night. It was packed, then again it usually is. Waited 10 minutes and got a table. Ordered a new dish and loved it! Service was Great! Told the waitress I had food allergies and asked about the sauce for the new dish I wanted to try. She showed me the allergy app that was on the table kiosk. I didn't even know they had an allergy app. She even had the manager come out and talk with me to make sure that I didn't order anything that would cause me to have a reaction. Come to find out the new sauce had an ingredient I was allergic to so the manager suggested having the new dish made with another sauce. I did and it was amazing! No where has ever taken the time like that to make sure that I didn't wind up eating something I shouldn't. I will definitely return!!!

We ate at your Commercial Drive location in New Hartford NY this afternoon. Service was great, steak although ordered medium was well done. Server apologized and offered a new one which we declined due to time restraint. Offered free dessert. Only thing is change is I asked her for a ramikan of sause to dip our bread sticks in and she brought a serving boat of it which we were charged almost six dollars for. If someone says ramikan, either bring that or tell them up front it's so costly.

It's the staff that make this restaurant. I've been to quite a few olive garden's and it's hard to critique a chain restaurant. The food was consistent as always, but the staff at this location is well picked. Kind, fast and it is clear that they enjoy their work. Definitely worth a lunch pop in. The positive spirit alone will lift you up for a great rest of the day.

November 2022: our family visited for a late night dinner. Upon our arrival, we were not greeted. A couple of servers from near the kitchen noticed us but we continued to wait. The bartender noticed us and we waited some more. I walked around the hostess station to get someone's attention. I don't think it was the hostess. It is so important for a restaurant to acknowledge it's guests. Anyway, from there the dining experience, environment, and, of course, the food were great. Gnocchi soup is a must! Good food for the kids (endless bread sticks) and wine and Sinatra for the parents.

We called at 5pm on a Saturday and said we will be there in 10 minutes, we were seated as soon as we arrived. Great Service, food was quick. I'm giving a 4 because I think it's a little high in prices for the dishes but overall very good!

Took our daughter out to dinner for her 10th birthday. I asked the hosts if they do anything special for birthdays and they said to let our waitress know and she'll get a free dessert. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating and she made our daughter feel special and brought her a fruity drink that she enjoyed since the one she wanted was no longer in the menu. She also brought her a dessert that we were charged for. Left a substantial tip but would have left more if we weren't charged for the dessert as promised. Overall good food and great service! The manager stopped by a couple times to thank us and congratulate the birthday girl.

Can't go wrong with Olive Garden. :) Staff were so helpful the last time I went. They helped me with the tablet they had on my table to pay my bill and order and all that, and the server and manager were incredibly kind and helped with accommodations. I've also always liked Olive Garden. This one particularly is often pretty relaxed and quiet. The food has always been pretty good to me, but it could be just a tiny bit better, to be honest. Overall, though, I've never had many problems here over the years I've been here, and even if there is a small one, it gets resolved really efficiently.

Ordered To-Go, the service was great but the food was subpar. It's been a while since I've ate at OG and I was disappointed to say the least. The breadsticks are way different than they used to be.

The meal was decent. Some of the sauces, on a different dish than posted, were a bit too cheesy. Literally stringy. And it was pretty chilly in there. But overall we were happy with the service and experience.

Friendly service, free wine sampling, delicious food! Better than Syracuse Olive Garden!

99 good experiences and 1 lousy one. Last time we went our waitress was argumentative, disinterested and insulting. Had to move booths due to strobe broken light overhead, menus had wet food on them. Usually though, we love going here. I just know for next time not to allow that girl to serve us.

We had a wonderful experience at Olive Garden thanks to our incredibly attentive server Gwynn. She took the time to explain the menu, and provided recommendations. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she anticipated our needs, making the dining experience truly exceptional. I gave 3 stars mostly because the interaction with other staff could have been better.

3 of us ate dinner there on 7/21 i had the stuffed chicken Marsala the other 2 had pasta n meatballs, Marsala sauce was gritty pasta n meatballs were ok our salad was barely dressed , our server sat with a customer at his table for at least 5-7 mins talking sat down right at his table the manager came around a couple of times to touch tables he was very nice service was subpar at best red onion was mushy and gross in spots our server never introduced herself never mentioned any specials or drinks , very unhappy with the service i work in this industry and I've never had a server sit with a guest yes stand there and chat for a second very un professional in my eyes !

The food was good, portions were pretty good also. Main issue was our waitress, took some time to get our order, she even served the people that came in after, before she served us. We used the app for the waiting list but we still were skipped. Maybe you all will get a better waitress. May come back again just feel hesitant.

Dirty. Sat by a window in the bar area. Blinds were coated with dust and a few foreign objects. Trash on the floor. The bar seems more like a locker room for the employees than a place for patrons.

They put a teaspoon of sauce on there meals, because corporate made them cut back and if you ask for more you get alittle monkey dish with extra sauce and it will cost you almost $5.00, I got a meal to go and they didn't give me bread, or salad with it and right before I left I thought of it and our waiter said oh I forgot! Olive garden used to be my favorite restaurant, I WILL NOT be going back!! The prices are awful and the food is so dry and just awful!!!

This is not a good experience...The order was not what we ordered. My husband tried to pick up an order this Sunday and the staff usually brings the order to the car. He waited there 10 minutes and no one showed up. He had to go in to pick it up and the items were not right. I ordered Ziti light on the cheese. But hardly any sauce was added to the pasta mix...It was mostly cheese...I do like sauce with my pasta as well as a little bit of cheese. The soup my husband received was only half full and we always order 4 Salad dressings---2 salad dressings per salad...My main concern was the pasta was a gooey mess with little or no sauce...ID # 4404 30310 0916

10/20/25 ordered delivery First time trying delivery. It left alot to be desired. Requested my tour of Italy dish be extra saucy, my Alfredo was so dry it was just terrible. My order of 3 meatballs had zero, absolutely Zero sauce on them!! Why?? Olive garden needs to Train employees to read special instructions, if for any reason they cannot comply with requests then please notify person placing order so they may have option of selecting a different menu item or items. Additionally it would be great if food was actually hot upon delivery.. The breadsticks were cold, soggy & had no seasoning on them! My pasta fagoli soup had almost zero pasta & zero beans, plus it was watery tasting. There was no saving it, in garbage it went. Very disappointed overall. I requested utensils & napkins, neither was provided... the desserts were delicious. For $108 this whole meal was definitely not worth it.

Went in today 8/28/22 at about 1:30PM. After a shout 10 minute wait we were seated and giver the menus. Four parties were seated after us and they were served, but no one care to take our order.…

Not happy I went there on 1/21/23 & the bill was $103! I was only suppose to pay for my food which came to $30 & everyone else was to pay their part. Instead I was charged $52 twice & additional $44! And the lady told me I would be getting my $103 back of a refund but never got it! And I don’t understand why I was charged $44 when my meal was less than that! I will be getting corporate involved! I’m not happy that Olive Garden basically pocked $117 worth of my money. I do not recommend going here not unless you want to get robbed!

Waitress was horrible, to the extent she shouldn't be a waitress. Took our orders, soup, salad, bread sticks for me, husband ordered a meal, with soup, and a to-go order. Waitress brought the drinks, salad and the bead sticks. Someone else, later, brought out my soup and my husband's meal. Had to ask for his soup and then it was brought out. Never saw the waitress again, until she came over to get us to pay, she did say thank you for your patience, I informed her that it was completely gone. Never ending soup, salad, bread sticks. Reply was, can I bring you a soup to go. Um no, just a manager. Then the excuses started, extra table, not her fault, etc... I had been watching her, three tables, one with four people, one with three and us. She had another table, but they paid and left before we even ordered. I interrupted her and said the manager please, she informed me that I had to listen to her first, as she was getting louder and louder. Um, no. I looked at my husband and informed him I would pay the bill at the front desk and speak to the manager up there. I got up and left. I spoke to a manager, she was comping some of the meal and then my husband came up. Waitress was giving him the song and dance and he told her that he would simply like the to go box and his to-go meal. She informed him it wasn't likely due to our attitudes, now at this point my husband has barely spoken to her. A couple of minutes later she did toss a container at him, never did bring the other meal. Needless to say, the entire meal was comped. On the bright side, I had another waitress come up to me, give me a hug and told me the next time to ask for her, gave me her name, and said I will give you awesome service. I believe we have had her before and she was awesome.

Table 232 was awful. What a crappy waitress. She didn’t even know what 2 minutes was. She didn’t bring yes entry plates. Didn’t pick up dirty dishes someone else did. Burnt food. Under cook breadsticks. I can give a lot more.

So my fiancé and my son waited 20 mins to be seated. Yes they were busy but when it was our turn to be seated the hostess was snoby to my fiancé and made it act like we are an inconvenience to be seated. My fiancé got seated and our son had to use the bathroom... well in thr bathroom my fiancé waited another 10 mins. While she was seated and waiting for us a waitress walked past her and served 5 customers before us... then when we canr back the waitress still ignored us 6x walking past us. We procced to leave and they said why are you leaving and gave us additude for the horrible atmosphere and decied to judge us for leaving when they basicly disregarded our pressance for a whole hour 30 mins In lobby and 30 at the table.
