We we're looking for something to eat after a movie. Panera was our choice but they were closing in 10 minutes. They let us in and srved us while they were cleaning to close. We we're so happy and they were so accommodating. We had broccoli and cheddar soup and a sandwich. It was delicious as we expected.

I went here on a Monday afternoon after bringing a relative to SUNY Polytechnic for the COVID-19 vaccine. I'm not familiar with the area, but it was easy to find using google maps. The parking lot was crowded, but I was able to find parking fairly easily. I ordered using the Kiosk (LOVE THEM), and the food was ready minutes later. I was surprised at how many people were in the store, but it looked like the store was making an effort to adhere to health department requirements regarding social distancing etc.

Panera Bread has excellent food but I did not gp there I recently established my family with the dentist next door. Me and my sister were treated with respect and the dentist and hygenist were excellent. The office is clean and plenty of seating. The receptionists are very friendly also.

Always a good sandwich and soup. I had the new chicken and bacon ranch which was delightful. Their coffee is delicious too. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Not to mention the baked goods and breads yum.

I had a large order so I ordered ahead online. It was done quicker than expected when I go there my order was not on the shelf, I asked the cashiers, she was slightly snarkey in saying that she didn't want my bag taking up the entire shelf. Everything was correct in my order though and hot and delicious.

Quickly taken care of at checkout. Lots of places to sit including outside. Staff friendly and courteous. Had turkey, bacon sandwich with apple and strawberry lemonade. Everything was delicious. We ate outside as weather was great. Traffic a little much but overall, a great experience and would recommend.

I had a great experience at Panera bread at the New Hartford location today on 12/8/20. The employee made some great recommendations for me and I was totally satisfied with the service and the delicious food and desert that they served me. 👍

This place is nice, cozy and quick. They need more of these places near colleges, it does seem as if it would attract a college crowd. Friendly staff, good food, good sweets. Highly recommend to all.

I love Panera. It’s the perfect place to get a healthy, satisfying dinner. It has been my favorite go-to place for many years now. I HIGHLY recommend the Cinnamon Bun, the Turkey Chili Soup(cold months only!), and the Chipotle Avocado Melt. Be sure to try their Chipotle Sauce (I would get a barrel of it).

The food is delicious! Love the soup, broccoli & cheddar in bread bowl is my fav, especially on cold winter days... Unfortunately trying to call there's no answer on several different occasions & gift card balance cannot be given through the automated system unless it has a pin#, otherwise you have to visit the restaurant to get the balance.

Fresh and clean. That’s for sure. I like the system ordering Kiosk. Price is kind of high though. My salad cost $11, and almost kids meal size sandwich was $10. Those don’t even include drink. Maybe that’s why they are always empty.

Good food, unfortunately they stop baking by noon and if you have a craving for desert in the evening... Your most likely out of luck. But if you are happy with soups and sandwiches, this is the place to go for a great tasting meal. They do decent coffee and specialty breads as well.

Great food, quick, healthy alternative and ten times better than fast food. Nice place to study, natural drink (teas) are great. Always reliable. Bathrooms are always clean and waitresses and waiters are always polite.

I love Panera. I always us the kiosk and our food is at our table right after we sit down. Fast service, delicious food. My ONLY gripe would be that if you go in the later evening hours, they are likely out of a lot of things on the menu

Panera Bread is as Panera Bread is. Pretty good food that tends to be on the more pricey as it's a not-fast food but fast casual food. The Broccoli Cheddar Soup is not vegetarian and contains a chicken base. We used the tablet to order our food. The only service we encountered was the super-friendly helpful lady who was handing out the food at the counter. This Panera was clean and nice looking inside. Free parking.

Haven't been here in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see that my lentil quinoa soup was still on the menu. As always it was delicious. My husband got the Italian sandwich which we thought was not as full as it used to be but tasted good. Will definitely be back for my soup again.

They always seem over busy and seem like asking a question " which takeout container do I pick for my bread bowl" is inconvenient for them.

Today's experience was not quite the same as previous ones. The cinnamon buns seemed a bit stale. The French onion soup was just adequate, not quite meeting my expectations. The Italian Steak & Mozz had a sweetness to it. Perhaps it was just me, but my taste buds weren't entirely satisfied. Furthermore, the interior temperature of the establishment felt rather chilly.

A decent lunch option, especially for those with a taste for a little bit healthier food, or a craving for some delicious bread of all varieties. Decent pastries, though not a big selection. Menu isn't that big either in general. I love the bread bowl option for the soups. Staff is pleasant enough for the most part, though they seem to be overwhelmed sometimes. Usually pretty clean for the most part. Wait time is never long, even though it's generally always moderately busy at the least. There's outdoor seating as well.

The food and service is fine, but the manager seems nasty. I overheard her just now in the expo window yelling at employees "one of you is taking a break now or no one is getting any breaks". A girl responded that she didn't want to go on break yet/that she wasn't hungry yet and the manager said "fine, then you arent getting a break tonight". I've worked in environments like this and it's extremely toxic and disheartening to hear hard working employees talked down to like that. Very unprofessional. Hopefully something can be done about that manager.

The food is decent, even if portions are relatively small. Service is efficient, and the staff is generally friendly. Only giving it three stars simply because nothing makes it exceptional, but there’s nothing inherently wrong with it.

Disappointed, to say the least. I saw where Penarra had grain bowls. Decided to try one. I have frequented them a few years ago and actually have a frequent customer card. Stopped going when the quality seemed to get poor. Went to try it again as I understand they have tried to correctly things. WOW, was I wrong. I ordered the grain bowl and when I receivef it I thought there was a mistake. There was not much in the bowl, very small and skimpy portion. Very poor for over $10. I asked the manager if my meal was missing something and was told that it was correct and they portion all the ingredients. They were very nice about it and refunded my money. I used to like Panera. I guess it is one and done. The Corp needs to improve on the portions for what you pay. Won't do that again.

What happened to the Pecan Rolls? They were wonderful. Husband stopped in to purchase them and they are no longer available along with many other popular items. He purchased two other types of rolls and they were terrible, dry and all crumbs. Did not look or taste fresh. Not sure we will be back.

Really disappointed lately. Plastic pieces from some kind of packaging were in my soup. Large and very small pieces. My family has enjoyed panera for years but lately theres always someones food order that's messed up.

Pretty regular. Food is good. I prefer their lunch menu over their breakfast options. The latter seems to have less flavour than their well-rounded afternoon+ menu. Customer service in this particular location is alright. Servers and cashier's are not particularly nice, but their not mean either. They just don't consistently make me feel welcome.

Food was good. Better than previous experiences at Panera. Chicken sandwich was full of chicken, soup was good, pastry delishous. (Family order not all me!) But coffee was gross. I had the hazelnut. Tasted like hot water sat next to a coffee bean. My husband had the dark roast and he said his was the same. Weak doesn't come close to describing it.

They have always been good, but recently, orders made wrong, dirty drink stations and eating areas. Employees seem disgruntled and rude. The prices oh the prices seemed to have gone up or portions went down, either way Panera is pricing themselves out of this customer.

Well first of all I have to say the place was not clean all the tables I want to go sit down at or dirty and there is stuff on the floor everywhere. I also used the men's room and that was not clean either. I ordered soup and a half a sandwich it tasted very good however the portion was weak I paid $11.94 for the meal which I thought was a little pricey for a half a soup and a half a sandwich just saying I used to like Panera Bread in the past however I would say this time I give it a thumbs down

don’t try to grab your food from the counter yourself (like at every other panera i’ve been to) or the lady working will act like you’re stupid. other than that the food was okay, came out kinda cold.

Used to love going to Panera. The new menu is a travesty. The customization options in-house are awful. If you want a sandwich with pickled onions you can't get them now, even though they still have them. Mind you the same sandwich had pickled onions prior to the menu change. If you order on a kiosk machine you have to wait to get a cup for a drink until you get your food? Since when is that a thing? And the prices are absurd for what you get.

All I did was order a bakers dozen of bagels today, and the cashier looked like she didn’t even want to be at her job, rolled her eyes at someone else, huffed and puffed, and didn’t even slice my bagels! I go there for bagels and food usually and none of the locations I’ve been to have been like this. I usually have great service! I work with the public, so I get it, but please don’t take it out on customers!

Way overpriced, small portions of food. when you leave you're going to be hungry and have to go somewhere else. I never get food there anymore but I do go there often because I'm part of their drink club and get free drinks and coffee all day long for $12 a month. That is absolutely The only thing Worth it there. Service is not great and I don't like the atmosphere

If you're working from home and are looking for a change of atmosphere (beside your home office) look somewhere other than Panera Bread (at least their New Hartford, NY location). Their WiFi is abysmally slow it is not worth the effort. I use ProtonVPN and Wireguard (for my personal VPN to my home servers). Neither connected well - while I could connect to my home VPN I could not edit files on that network. ProtonVPN eventually connected after I shut it down (exited the application entirely) and when it reconnected it eventually connected to the internet. It was so slow however, that it was painful. It took minutes to download a single page from a news website. Doubt I'll be back.

Got breakfast, food was subpar. I've always gotten really good lunch items so I was really disappointed with the breakfast.

Went in to get a simple no frill salad with chicken on it! I ordered the chicken Cesar minus the Cesar dressing which is the closest I could get. I also got a sandwich to make it a pick 2 and with the simple turkey sandwich it totaled to over $14 dollars. I think that sometimes people need to stop and think how they would feel if they got something they ordered the same way I did today. I took this salad back to my wife who was at home after having surgery and this is what she got, rusty Romaine lettuce which she had to pick around to enjoy a $7 dollar salad. I wouldn't serve something to someone I wouldn't eat myself! Panera, for the prices you charge you need to be better!

The food was good but portion sizes are always way too small. Haven’t been to Panera in years, so was excited to see that they expanded their menu a bit. Used the quick kiosk, which was convenient because I was starving. Spent $16 including tax on a chicken sandwich and a bag of chips and it was not nearly filling enough. Had to go back up to the counter to buy a bagel ($2) just to feel like I ate enough food for lunch. I’d spend that much again if they gave me 2 chicken sandwiches for $16 and skipped the chips. Restaurant was also super cramped and claustrophobic. Window seats by the coffee bar were the most comfortable and open spot to sit despite being near the doors (yay cold air). The staff were nice and some were constantly cleaning tables.

A child put my sandwich together, couldn't even eat it because it was so freaking sticky!!! and doordash left half my order at the restaurant, second time experience. I am not removing my review this time.

I asked for a Mediterranean sandwich to go but she gave me 2 different sandwiches with wrong side. She mumbled so fast even though I asked her to repeat what she said. Didn't realized until I got home that i ended up with 2 and paid for 2. Not happy since food is so pricey there. I couldn't eat the second sandwich ingredients due to allergy.

I don't know what it is with their mac and cheese, but when it's hard, cold pasta in a cup of runny cheese water, it makes it more of a soup that isn't worth the $13.

It's so freezing when you're ordering and then when you sit in the back it's hot and muggy!! Seems like they have issues with their ac. I can only imagine what the employees are going through! Not to mention the bathrooms also smell mugg and disgusting. My husband went to use the bathroom and he said the urinal he tried to use was clogged. You'd think after Covid, they'd tried to maintain cleanliness.

This Panera location is the literal worst. It’s always sold out of everything and is absolutely filthy. Clearly the management is terrible since they cannot manage it well enough to keep enough ingredients available.

I eat her quite a bit it's actually one of my favorite places. Yesterday May 8th 2023 was the worst food I got. $40 worth of food it was not even made right. The bread was harder than a rock. I did a customized sandwich did not get everything I was supposed to on it. I was lucky if I got two onions. My soup was French onion they're literally was hardly any cheese in it or onions. I am pretty disgusting. I don't live close to this restaurant so it would have been impossible for you to run right down and bring it back.

Because I used a VISA gift card, my food was sitting for 10 minutes and they tried telling me to reorder. Food was cold and disgusting by the time we figured out where my food was.

I have a massive concern, the associate/manager I spoke with was super friendly and I am getting a credit, however when I order Panera... I didn't expect to get stoned. I know this sounds bizarre and it is, I believe the French Bread I was given was infused with weed. At first I thought, perhaps the Doordasher was smoking and thought okay whatever people smoke and its probably lingering, but 35 minutes after my order I was very stoned and shaky. I don't know if this happened to anyone else but I'm concerned because my food shouldn't be laced with anything even weed. I'm very Skeptical about going back to receive my credit. Honestly after the experience not to be that person, but I found this was very bizarre. I don't know how this should be handled. I'm never put in a situation like this, or make a fuss about anything. I just want to make sure that people aren't getting things put in their body that they may not want, I ordered dinner. I didn't order a psychedelic experience.

Pepperoni melt was nothing as described, paper thin Pepperoni, little bit sauce & cheese, it was mostly bread, I wasn't even sure there were ingredients in it as it was so completely flat... Would not order again or recommend. Broccoli cheddar mac & cheese was just ok, bland tasting. Chocolate latte again had zero foam & was only 3/4 full. Much too expensive for this to keep happening!. Breakfasts here are usually very good, but they stopped serving fried eggs which I love in Breakfast sandwich. Not sure why? I will agree they are very overpriced for amount of food you get on their lunch / dinner menu. Almost $50 today for lunch & it was a huge disappointment. I Highly doubt I will try again for lunch / dinner.

Overpriced, small portions only reason I’d even come here is because my kids like the Mac and cheese. Apparently their new policy is you have to wait until your food is ready in order to get the cup you paid for. You can’t sit and wait for your food with your drink? That’s ridiculous.

I ordered a salad with no red onions (raw) and received a salad loaded with onions. I went to have it exchanged for a salad with no onions, and all they did was take the onions off. You could still smell the strong aroma from the onions on the other ingredients. I order from Panera's quite regularly, but not after this experience. All I wanted was what I paid for and ordered. I'm allergic to raw onions, and my throat could have closed with a complete rash break out. Apparently, Panera's could care less. You need to do better because this could have been tragic!!!! The disappointment is palpable !!

My mom and I went here for lunch just a couple days ago and the experience was terrible. While the cashier who took our order was very friendly and patient with my mom who did not know what she wanted beforehand, the rest of the experience was far less pleasant. We had both ordered the same thing: Broccoli and Cheddar Soup in a Bread Bowl, a Half Chicken Caesar Salad, and an Apple as our side of choice with her getting a fountain drink and mine pairing with a bottled water. When our buzzer went off, I went to receive our order and before even touching anything, I knew they had messed it up. One soup was not in a bread bowl, but I did not think it was too big a deal. I chose to let them know they had messed it up, expecting them to correct it, and they just gave me an un-hollowed bread bowl roll. So I went back to my seat without a fuss, gave my mother the one already in the correct bowl and went to wash my hands before dealing with the bread bowl for myself without any further complaints on my part. Upon my return, my mother had brought us back plastic spoons as she had to return the ones they had given us. They still had food on them and had clearly not been washed. This was both disgusting and unsettling considering Covid-19 is still around regardless of things opening up. The staff was being very careless. I have never had much of an issue when eating at this location, however as it stands now, I would not recommend eating at this establishment as they are currently not taking food preparation or proper cleaning precautions into account.

Usually good service. This morning was terrible. I have needed breakfast out everyday for two weeks because I have had company and didn’t want to rattle around in my kitchen. I love the steel oats here, but today the manager made me feel terrible about ordering them because their truck was late and they just got to them. Is this my problem? I mean 10 bucks a day with a drink for two weeks is a lot. I’m sure another restaurant would like my business.

Don’t Bother picking up a doordash delivery if the manager is working. Seems they only care about tricking their metrics into thinking times are quicker than they actually are for corporate.

I'm done with this Panera. They screw up every order in some fashion. The pricing of the food is way too high for them to consistently screw up an order.

We are a school district and do purchase order with Panera quite often. We had a terrible experience and unprofessional service from Panera for our last order which was two days ego. One of our staff had ordered scrambled egg and they happen to send him bacon. This staff had a extreme restrictions for eating bacon and he had a bite of his food without checking it and knowing it was bacon. He thought he received what he ordered which was scrambled egg. After the bite, he had a terrible issue and suffered a lot. I felt terrible to be a part of this suffering and I called Panera to talk to a manager, she listened to me and didn’t really care much. I took the lunch box, printed the purchase order and order confirmation email from Panera and went to their location. The manager lady came out and listened carefully, asked us what she cam do for that. I told her to send an apology email to our staff and myself and train her staff better. She promised she would send this apology email but it has been 2 days and nothing came yet. I am going tell this story to all people around me and will not continue our business with them. Terrible experience and not satisfied with problem solving. At least an apology email would make us feel a little better, but they even didn’t do that. So bad.

Terrible customer service. most seem like stuck up, who are working because they have to in the customer service industry and not because they actually understand what customer service really is or actually care about providing great customer service. The manager examplies all these behaviors so can't really expect better from the rest. Terrible atmosphere too, most ppl seem to be there for self validation, pathetic. Oh, there was napkins all over the place right outside the door, the worse panera bread I've been to and I'm a huge fan of panera bread.

I bought 12 bagels for $15, opened a bag and found a hair in the bagels, brought the bagels back to exchange them and got grief from management, they looked through the bag, like im lying to get 5 new bagels, these people are garbage, have been going there for 15 years, no more, check your bagels for hair, management here is garbage.

This is for anyone who deals with a rude employee. I was treated very disrespectful today. Did I make a huge stink over it ? No. I could have but chose to quietly ask the girl if I could speak to her before I left. I did this away from her coworkers so I didn't embarrass her too much. I explained the issue and that I didn't deserve what she said. She apologized immediately and that was that. I hope she thinks twice about doing this again. These employees need to realize that if it wasn't for the customers they wouldn't have that job.

Terrible experience as a customer or as a driver for a delivery company. Mackenzie is so rude and disrespectful. Totally oblivious to what’s going on around her. Will never go to this location again.

It was the messiest sandwich ive ever had unwrapped it, mayo all over, grease dripping out of the sides and the wost sandwich ive had from there in a very long time. I didnt realize I was ordering from mcdonalds.... the staff was very unpleasant and rude when I said i made a mistake and asked to make to go instead of dining in.

Noon on the Monday before Christmas. Place is packed. One register open and a line from the counter to the door. No wait for a table, but 20 minutes for a bagel and coffee. Light coffee empty. Sunny day, but no shade on the window and the table is filthy. This location is not up to Panera standards

Went there for dinner with my daughter and 10 year old granddaughter, the food was good, the girls at the counters were nice and friendly. But the girl changing lemonade was very hostile, swearing, Slamming items around, not a good environment.

There was an older lady, I'm guessing shes the MOD, She seemed to have forgotten she works there and providing great customer service to all is part of her job. where is the oversight? We ordered, dine-in, two coffees, a sandwich and a toasted bagel. Sandwich served quickly … and completely eaten while I was still waiting for my bagel almost 15 minutes later. When I asked if I’d be getting my bagel soon, I was told “Sorry … but she’s working on orders for 18 bagels.” While getting my refund, realized why my puny eat-in order was of no importance at all to them … they would rather I wait than their big-order on-line customers (see photo - pick-up rack chocked full of others’ big orders). PS: Business seemed uncharacteristically slow … snowstorm had dining room way less than half full. And their only excuse for their 5-person cooking staff’s lack of customer satisfaction was a clearly unsympathetic “sorry … we’re doing the best we can, sir.” Riiiiight … for your big-ticket customers you are.

Today we went into Panera Bread and I ordered a chicken salad with facasia bread and this what they gave me. Very small serving of chicken salad when every white person sandwiches are busting from the seams of there sandwiches. I felt as if they are racist. I will never come here again.

Worst decision ever, this place is definitely overrated. For them to charge the way they do for soup in a bread bowl and then give you a huge bread with 1 spoonful of soup is ridiculous, Sándwiches taste like nothing, burnt on the side. Lemonade and drinks ???? HAAAA If you are a toddler you may like all that sugar. I hope people stop going to this place. Its not worth it. I will never go back.

My nana ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and received an ungrilled sandwich. As you can see in the photos, the bread was barely tan and even the darker parts were super soft. The cheese inside was not melted. You could see each individual slice :( When we brought it to be remade the employee was super rude. She was essentially like, it’s not my problem and she had it made again. By the way, they don’t add any butter to the bread to toast it. The second sandwich she got back was also not grilled properly. However, the manager was polite enough to refund the sandwich. Super disappointing. At least the cashier was super sweet.
