A wonderful casual environment to sit and relax with a amazing meal. That’s how would describe this restaurant. The main seating area is quite cozy even though there are no padded chairs. There’s an old school charm to this place. Had their Vintage Burger which was cooked to perfection. I’m sorry I don’t remember our servers name but she was quite delightful and attentive. Our small party had reserved a table which they placed in front of the gas fireplace. On a cold winter day this kept us warm.

Our second time there and it was amazing! Highly recommend making reservations though. The chicken pot pie was out of this world! My mom loved the salmon and my dad had the chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out quickly. Our waiter was outstanding. He checked on us often and talked us into dessert. How could I say no to him explaining the cheesecake in such detail? Lol. Very pleased with everything and will be returning since it's only a few minutes down the road.

As you walk in you instantly welcomed with an open view of a Western vintage room, the visuals are pretty cool and it's was defintely a great first impression. The waitress was very kind and was prompt to get to us and serve our orders. The dishes are quite creative with a refined touch per se, at least I wasn't entirely sure of all the words in the menu. Got a burguer to be on the safe side and I did not regret! It was tasty, it looked good and it felt authentic with a good portion of skinny fries. To accompany, I also got a margarita which was okay, 8/10. Overall it was a great experience, mostly for the charming ambience and unique vibe.

Absolutely delicious meal and exceptional service! Had the crab dip and French onion soup, which we loved, the salmon (outstanding), a burger (always a great choice), and the cajun pasta, so delicious! For dessert we enjoyed the cookie skillet and apple skillet. Everything was outstanding. We can't wait to return! Update... went again tonight and had the crab dip, French onion soup, pot pie, and meatloaf. Everything was so delicious!!!

Loved my experience! Emily was our waitress and she was great! Informative and so kind and efficient! We loved her! The food was delicious, had the burrata, short rib, chicken, crab soup, and bread pudding. The short rib was amazing and will definitely be getting again! Can’t wait to come back!

Vintage is a date night must try!! My boyfriend and I ate at vintage in June after they reopened and our experience was great all around. Everything about our dining experience was amazing- the ambience, the staff, the drinks, & the food- we loved it all. For drinks we got 2 of the signature cocktails, for appetizers we got the wings and crab dip, and for dinner we got the the vintage burger & pot roast. If you haven’t tried these options yet we would suggest trying them all. We can’t wait to try their fall signature cocktails and to check out their brunch!!

My husband and I hadn’t been here since before the pandemic and it used to be our go-to when we lived closer. We dined today at 3:00pm, right when they opened, and we were the only ones in there for a while. We sat in the lounge which we had never been seated at before. Great atmosphere, amazing service, and awesome food. We got the apple cranberry mule and the peach mule, crab dip, the chicken sandwich, and the Asiago stuffed gnocchi and it was all delicious. Plenty of leftovers as well! We finished off with desserts- the creme brûlée and the cookie skillet. Also delish! A band was setting up for live music as we were leaving. We will be back for that and to try the espresso martini, which sounded great but we had to pick up the babe later so it was a one drink kind of evening! Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vintage Restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience that left me nostalgic for the comforting dishes prepared by our grandparents. The old fashioned American food served here surpassed all my expectations and truly delighted my taste buds. The pot roast and potatoes at Vintage Restaurant were nothing short of exceptional. The tender, succulent pot roast was cooked to perfection, complemented by tasty roasted vintages potatoes that had just the right balance of heartiness and flavor. Every bite took me back to the heartwarming meals shared with relatives who had lost past. One highlight that I couldn't resist mentioning is the charcuterie tray. Vintage Restaurant has curated a truly unique cheese selection that showcases a variety of flavors and textures. From the creamy, tangy bites to the sharp, aged options, the cheese assortment was a delightful journey for my taste buds. The accompanying selection of deliciously seasoned meats perfectly complemented the cheeses, resulting in a harmonious symphony of flavors. The overall ambiance of Vintage Restaurant added to the nostalgic experience. The warm and cozy atmosphere, coupled with attentive service, made the entire dining experience memorable and enjoyable. If you're in search of authentic old fashioned American cuisine that reminds you of the treasured meals from yesteryears, Vintage Restaurant is the place to be.

I stopped in last week for a private event hosted upstairs and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, taste, and presentation of the food. although I’m no longer local to the area, I regret not stopping in before when I lived 15 minutes away. Would absolutely recommend this quaint little spot! Food was really fantastic and the service and overall atmosphere were good too.

This place is best in class and you're missing out on it! It needs to be on the top 25 best restaurants in MD list. Sunday brunch on Father's Day included great food and beautiful people at a reasonable price. The atmosphere blew me away - score!

In town for a family outing, we needed a good spot for dinner. This place did not disappoint. Great food, great beer, great service! At first I wasn't sure if it would be good for kids (I have 4 small ones), but they took great care of us. I strongly recommend the Farmers Pig. Delicious!

Wow. Where to start? The first thing you notice about this place is how cozy, elegant, and inviting it is. We’ve been there a few times and my sisters and I are obsessed. I absolutely love the salmon entree, it is so moist and perfectly seasoned. Brussels were cooked perfectly. For apps we got the cauliflower with a lovely tangy sweet sauce and I love the fresh chili peppers, they’re not too hot but you can also take them off if you like. But I love the kick. We also had the salmon croquettes which were divine. I’ve had the steak in the past, also delicious. I haven’t had a dish I didn’t like. The bar is so quaint and lovely. The service is outstanding, we’ve never had a bad experience. One of the owners also manages and he’s the type to care about every single guest’s experience, it’s really rare to see that. You’ll see him running drinks, food, checking on people, chatting with regulars and newcomers alike. It’s really cool to have that energy in a place, like you’re in someone’s home and the host of the dinner will not be happy unless everyone is fed and having a great time. We love it here!!! My only regret is that I always dive into the food too quickly and don’t get enough pictures😅 give this place a try you will not be disappointed!

Great place to go on a date or with a few friends. Service is excellent and the food choices are good. Visited during the weeknight and it was easy to get a table.

We hosted my friends bridal shower in the upstairs room and it was great! The staff were awesome, the food was good and the cauliflower dish that we originally thought were wings was amazing! I would highly recommend for a larger group gathering.

Delicious food! Beautiful farmhouse decor. We went on a Friday night, so there was some nice live music as well. We had fried pickles and flatbread as appetizers and shrimp & grits and chicken & waffles as our entrees.

Absolutely loved this place. Cute, historic, friendly staff, and great food. We had the ahi tuna appetizer. Our main courses were the chicken sandwich and the burger. We finished off our date night with a chocolate chip cookie skillet desert. We loved everything about this place.

Dined with my family at Vintage on a busy Friday night. It’s hard to say my experience was anything short of excellent. When my family walked in we were greeted by a friendly host, who got us seated quickly (despite the crowded dining room). The server that oversaw our our table was very professional, and despite being a busy night, she made it to us rather quickly. I ordered the Vintage Burger, which is incredible. My family said their steak was excellent and well seasoned. Cajun pasta is now one of my son‘s all-time favorites, so we had to get one to go (we recommend choosing chicken as protein). The meatloaf was coated in this savory glaze, which went great with the mashed potatoes. You can really tell they make their food with love! I was incredibly pleased that both owners, Ariel and AJ stopped by our table individually and checked on our service and meal. The staff of Vintage is very professional, friendly, and clearly enjoys their job. I would recommend Vintage to any family or couple, just looking to have a nice evening out in a cozy atmosphere with great food. Vintage is one of my favorite spots.

We attended the Black Stallion Wine Dinner last night at Vintage Restaurant in New Market and what a truly amazing experience it was! The four-course meal had a wonderful balance of presentation and taste. We loved the way the flavors came together. The wine selection was perfectly paired with each dish; the aromas and flavors were bright and refreshing. We have dined at Vintage many times and always had shining service, 5-star food and enjoyed the awesome ambiance. The wait staff is efficient and cheery, and food presentations are where taste meets artistry. That dessert-Expresso Martini Affogato, was superb. Our complements to the chef! Cheers to AJ and Ariel for bringing fine dining to the Town of New Market!

We had a family dinner there on Saturday night, and this restaurant blew us away. They gave us a private room upstairs with it's own bathroom and a dedicated server team despite being packed full of Saturday night diners. The food was delectable as well as beautiful and artfully presented. Tory took such great care of us. The decor was both homey and quietly chic. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys wonderful comfort food with a modern twist. The chef, AJ, visited us repeatedly to make sure we were happy. We were. We are excited to return to sample the rest of the offerings!

The fried cauliflower is delicious! Harvest salad very good! Crab cakes are also very good! The chicken pot pie is a bit soupy. We love the cozy atmosphere at Vintage and the service was great! We had a party of 10 and they took care of us! Everyone enjoyed their meal.

I tasted several dishes recently. Every one was delicious, perfectly prepared. Highly recommend the amazing cauliflower appetizer, the intense, smooth chocolate torte, and the French press coffee. The service is warmly attentive, the ambiance is welcoming, attractive, and comfortable, the kids menu is unusually nice. I’ll definitely go back, and take some friends.

We were Fredrick and stopped in Vintage for lunch Great service, comfy atmosphere and good food Located in a historic building, the dining andf bar space is divided into seperate rooms. They were pretty busy though our server was attentive and we did not wait that long The crab soup was rather bland and very thin. Autumn salad was flavorful. Wrap was a nice size, though pretty plain. AUTUMN SALAD: spring mix, arugula, apple, gorgonzola crumble toasted truffle almonds, pickled onion, pomegranate arils, poppy seed dressing CREAM OF CRAB SOUP: cup CHICKEN CAESAR WRAP: blackened chicken, crisp romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, caesar dressing, tomato-basil wrap My rating rationale +1 Service +.5 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +1 Atmosphere/vibe +1 Value

First time visiting and it did not disappoint. It’s a quaint and cozy atmosphere, served on grandmas glass plates. My biggest complaint is that we sat down for a 5:30 reservation on a Saturday and they were out of pot roast! Talk about a let down. We started out with the Buffalo Chicken flatbread, which was good, but the dough could’ve been crispier. Since I couldn’t get the pot roast (sad), I got the the cajun pasta with chicken. It was a solid back up choice and the chicken was nicely blackened. Pork Chops are what it is, nothing to write home about. The crispy potatoes are super good! though, a tad bit on the salty side. The cheesecake was a delightful end to our meal. Super airy and light with a season blueberry compote. Shout out to Nina for being our awesome server.

We attended Vintage Restaurant for Sunday Brunch at Noon. We had a reservation and that went perfectly- we were seated instantly. The decor and ambiance was absolutely charming. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded or noisy. Our server didn't rush us through our meal, which is greatly appreciated. Half of our party had the brunch buffet and they enjoyed their food. I ordered from the menu and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my food. The cream of crab soup was a bit bland, but it was tasty. My burger was a step above in freshness and preparation. I found the cook and seasoning on my fries perfect. The Bloody Mary with a delicious, fresh-grilled shrimp on the top was MAGNIFICENT. We'll return!

This is a very cozy, rustic style American restaurant. We liked how they use lot of the ingredients from local farmers. And service was very friendly and attentive. Couple suggestions for improvement: 1. Brussel sprouts appetizer was way too salty . 2. Our pork chop came out with certain part that was not cooked through . Personally, I can eat my beef steak rare… but anything pork I’m not OK with any rawness in it. The kitchen was very nice and cooked it little more. The pork chop quality was definitely very nice. And we loved their homemade lemonade , Definitely recommend to try their drinks.

This was the 2nd time going here and it was on Bogota night this time. Our first time was amazing and this time seemed very disappointing. The brussel sprouts were so good we had them gone right after it hit the table. Then everything went down from there. The service dragged and it took forever to get the entrees. Which the waitress said as a kind of tongue and cheek comment that she bet we are starving by now. I got the apple piggy and it was dry and I mean by far some of the driest pork I have ever had. And my wife got the stickylickychicky which was great but the biscuit it was on was spongy and seemed like they had over kneaded the dough. But overall the food was still good just had a few issues with it.

Haven't been back since it reopened. I'm always pulling for local businesses in New Market. I ordered the chicken pot pie...what was good was the crust, baked just right. What wasn't good was the inside ingredients. I didn't find one piece of chicken. It was almost like cream of mushroom soup with tiny bits of vegetables. I will go back and try some other entrées though. Other patrons seemed happy with their food.

S
Shellie Smith

The food is alwafys really creative and well-done. The cocktail flight was outstanding. The only downside is awkward customer service. We always have to wait for someone to wander over to the hostess station to seat us. And the chicken was bone-in...so messy and unpleasant for chicken and waffles. Fortunately, food makes up for these things.

My sister-in-law gave us a gift card for Christmas and we stopped by this weekend for dinner. We parked around back and were seated as soon as we came in. Real talk: I hated our table. We were set up at a two-top facing the door we came in and not only did every person who entered slam said door, they proceeded to make eye contact with me after they did it. Plus, it was very bright being next to the door. It was probably the worst table in the place, but I didn't want to be one of those people, so we stuck it out. The food was truly excellent. It's all locally-sourced and made in house by an actual chef, not just a cook. They have a great selection of cocktails, beer and wine. I ended up with the cucumber soda (not-alcoholic). I thought it tasted like sprite and cucumber or maybe ginger ale and cucumber. It was tasty, but not all that unique-tasting. Hubby got a couple of beers and seemed to like them both. Onto the food...we started off with an order of the pretzel bites. The cheese dip is killer. I got the chicken and dumplings and hubby got the smoked chicken sandwich. I think they use the same smoked chicken for both and it is stellar. It's moist and very flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the pea pods they served with my meal (they ALWAYS taste under-cooked and slightly bitter!) I wish I would have had the forethought to ask for extra carrots instead. Those were delish! Overall, the food was really well seasoned and tasted amazing. We finished our meal off with a slice of magic pie and a scoop of house-made chocolate ice cream. Holy cow. The magic pie truly was magical and the dark chocolate ice cream was actual perfection. Service was also stellar. Our waitress was friendly and perfectly attentive. Had it not been for the terrible table, this place would get 5 stars in my book.

Very nice restaurant with great atmosphere. Love the woodburning fireplace. The food was very good. Started with the crab dip and the buffalo chicken flatbread. The crab dip was creamy and just crabby enough that it was enjoyable. The buffalo flatbread had large chunks of chicken and was very good. I had the smash burger for my entree and the burgers were a little larger than expected but the toppings were proportioned perfectly and provided just enough flavor without overwhelming the burgers that were cooked perfectly. The only caveat to this was that I thought for what we ate, the prices were a little on the high side.

Reservations early on a Sunday evening. The place was rustic and had a farm vibe to it which was nice, but based on their website I thought this place was a little more upscale than it turned out to be. Very relaxed and informal - families with babies and kids so the noise level was higher than expected. Visited the restroom and the toilet didn't flush so not sure what was going on with that. Service felt somewhat disorganized. We started off ordering wine and cocktails. For the price points, those were good. Menu identifies dairy/gluten/veg options which we liked. Ordered salads and then the server said they were out of salads. Not much can be done about that, so we moved on to crab soup instead. Flavor was good but temperature was practically boiling, so that was unexpected. Had some crab shells in the soup which was unfortunate, but like I said flavor was good. Entrees were just OK. Meatloaf was VERY dry; mashed potatoes were average and vegetables were buttered and garlicky which was tasty but were over salted. Pork chop was overcooked. Crab cakes were good but I was told they were average. Didn't order dessert. While I enjoyed the general look and feel of the place and the nice location, the food and experience wasn't enough to have me rushing back in for more. Hopefully I just caught them on a bad day.

My experience with Vintage started at 3pm when I called to make a reservation at 5pm on a Saturday. I was told there were no reservations left for the evening, but there was open seating at the bar. Understandable for a Saturday. I thought nothing of it until 5:15pm when I arrived to a nearly empty restaurant. I expected to sit at the bar, but was seated in the dining area. I’m still confused as to why I was denied a reservation for 5pm. Onto the space…the dining area is unique and cozy. It was great when we were first seated among 3 other tables. But boy, when it started to get busy it was LOUD. My party of four had to raise their voices to hold a conversation across the table. Not what I expected for a higher end restaurant. Our server was very pleasant. Service in general was very slow though. We were left with empty glasses of water multiple times. Our group ordered crab dip Brussel sprouts for apps. Both were good. The crab dip was a very small portion for the price. I ordered the chicken pot pie as my entree and was happy with it for the most part. The flavor was great, but it was very soupy. My husband got the rockfish special and was disappointed. The fish was extremely bland. The couple we were with both got burgers and were satisfied with them. The fries they were served were cold though. Overall it was just an okay experience. I won’t go out of my way to go back, but would be willing to give it another shot if the opportunity arises.

Generally we don't write reviews, but Vntage was so disappointing that we felt compelled to share our experience. We went for Sunday brunch onJanuary 18th. At thirty dollars per person, this is extremely overpriced and the food is not good. There were two egg dishes, a scrambled egg with cheese, and an egg florentine casserole. The eggs were undercooked, not hot and the casserole was bitter. We left that on the plate The sausage was undercooked, not crispy, and we checked it repeatedly to make sure it was actually done. The sausage gravy was less than mediocre, with the sausage ground so fine that it was more of a spice than a component. There were two types of breakfast potatoes that were basically the same, one with onions and the second with onions and peppers. They were okay. The french toast casserole so mushy that it was not palatable. The waffles were undercooked, thin and grainy, which is surprising since staff, was at the buffet, making them the whole time. The branch goes from 10 am to 1 pm. We got there around eleven o'clock and there was only one other party in the restaurant. We should have taken that as a sign and gone elsewhere. Generally, the food was not even hot, and the choices were mediocre for such a pricey brunch. Even the coffee was extra, and they did not have any decaf tea options. I've never been to a restaurant that did not have an herbal tea for breakfast. A couple of other groups came in while we were there, and the waitstaff was constantly fussing with the buffet and interfering with the ability to actually access the food. This was unnecessary since the restaurant was empty and the chafing dishes were full already. My recommendation would be to go to any of the other restaurants on the other side of the street for better value and quality of food. We found this to be a real stinker and suggest you skip Vintage. Wasted $75.

Only giving 2 stars because the waitress was VERY nice. She is a rockstar! Anyways, I went to Vintage to celebrate my Grandfather's 90th birthday. It was about 14 of us there. I'm only writing this review because I wanted to point out the chicken tenders. I ordered them and some fries. They were awful! The chicken was dry and it had some type of seasoning on it, which made it a little bit spicy. The fries were worse. They were really salty and again with the type of seasoning. It just wasn't appetizing at all. Like I said, the waitress was very nice and we all had a good time. But the food part was awful.

L
Lauren Richman

I ordered take out and this was the portion size for the $19 gnocchi entree and the chicken wings were still rubbery and pink inside. They were totally undercooked.
