The food, drinks, service, and ambiance were all lights-out amazing. Hard to believe they’ve only been open a week. Run don’t walk, and don’t miss the Special Delivery cocktail!

This was truly the best meal i’ve had in awhile. LOVED the Golden Hour cocktail and hamachi. Salt baked shrimp was so incredible- ate the tails. Service was great, vibe was everything.

Chef Ashwin has really outdone himself with this restaurant! Everything was delicious, but the Refrigerator Noodles were my favorite. The space was so comfortable and inviting, and the staff treated us with kindness and hospitality. It was a 10/10 experience!

We celebrated my boyfriends birthday here tonight and we are so glad that we did. Everything was incredible. I didn't get as many pictures as I normally would because I was soaking it all in. It was so cozy, from the lighting, to the lush green plants, and the delicately placed flowers at each table. It was such a treat to enjoy all the flavorful dishes. We started with Groth Cabernet Oakville which was juicy and fresh, and the old fashioned has to be one of the best we've ever had. The crab, brie, and champagne soup was rich, warm, and the chili sauce made it pop. Like a hug from grandma. So much flavor in the refrigerator noodles. Refreshing, and the black garlic was out of this world. ABC chicken had so many layers of flavors and could have been its own meal entirely. If you like fried shrimp you cannot go wrong with the salt baked shrimp, on a bed of veggies and so delicious. It definitely got better with the Duck Breast à L'Orange & the Izakaya Steak. The flavors, the presentation was all on point. Even the desert were beautifully placed and so tasty. Thank you all for an incredible evening. I can't wait to try Saffron next.

Another home run from Saffron chef Ashton Vilkhu. Asian fusion/contemporary menu with a variety of influences from stir fry noodles to izakaya, as well as a decent bit of gulf coast flair with shrimp and seafood offerings. Menu is prefixe style consisting of 4 courses and 3 options for each course. Everything well executed and balanced. Superb service, it seems there were at least 1-2 busboys or staff assisting the server. Had a hard time narrowing down my cocktail choice, but settled on the Day Dreamer, which was light and juicy but not too sweet. Great non alcoholic options too including this coconut Ube cocktail that was very popular among tables around us. Interior is clean and warm. You can tell there was thought put into every detail. Even the forks were unique. Definitely could see this being a great spot for a special date night or bringing guests to see the best of what Nola has to offer.

This chique and upscale new South Asian inspired restaurant in Uptown is a must visit! Being a tea lover, it was great to see a list of Asian teas on the beverage menu. I had the chai which was excellent and well spiced. Every dish we had on their curated menu was delicious and intricately created. Hard to pick my favorite but the chocolate cake was a stand out. Will definitely be back.

Great new space for the restaurant. Sister restaurant to Saffron. Food and cocktails great. Highly recommended. We’re going back you try other items on the menu.

Lovely new Asian-inspired restaurant that offers a 4 course tasting menu with several options, to include a vegetarian menu. The robust sauces paired with the well prepared and visually appealing selections were a highlight and treasured discovery as you dug into each course. Service was well-timed, and each dish explained in detail beyond the well-written descriptive menu. Large cocktail with a few mocktails to choose from, along with wine by the glass or bottle, 6 select potted teas, and multiple types of Asian beers from Japan, China, and other countries. Dining room lighting, plating, and linens were on point, along with sound dampening made for easy conversations with friends or an intimate dining experience with your partner. Perfect for a celebration, date night, or just a night you don't feel like cooking and want to turn it up a notch.

We ordered one of everything on the menu and did the wine pairing — and you definitely should too. Every course was beautifully executed, balanced, and memorable. The pairing elevated the experience even more. Kingsway is an outstanding new addition to the New Orleans food scene, and we left genuinely impressed. Zero complaints, only excitement to return.

I wish I could give The Kingsway a 5 star review. There are so many things they got right. With a few tweaks, I think they could be the next best restaurant in New Orleans. The atmosphere top notch! You can tell so much thought went into this renovation. The crab and Brie soup- to die for! I would recommend going just for this, honestly! The service- every staff member we asked questions to had answers from the server to the buss person, which in my opinion, goes a long way. However, the ABC chicken was very dry and underwhelming. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and beautifully plated, but too small for a main course. The key lime pie was one of the best I have had, but there was a large chunk of lime pulp found in my slice. Takeaways: This place is stunning! I would highly recommend trying it out. The flavors and heart and soul of the food is there. Just needs a little fine tuning for the $$$.

This was our second dining experience and it was exceptional! The tasting menu is outstanding and offers enough choices per course to ensure different palates are satisfied. The curried fish was unbelievable! The pork belly was so flavorful, and the duck delicious. I had the coconut cloud for dessert (again) and it was even better than last time. The Asian inspired food may be the main event, but the service steals the show. The waitstaff is kind and attentive without being fussy. They are all smiles and yet ready to help you choose the right selection for your taste buds. Alec is a fabulous waiter… chatty and warm, and his guidance for both the food and cocktails were spot on! We chose to do the wine pairing with our meal and James is an incredibly knowledgable sommelier. He knows his wines but is down to earth and fun with his descriptions. This restaurant is just so fun and authentically New Orleans- not the food, obviously, but the approach to the entire experience- thoughtfully prepared food served up by professional yet friendly and warm staff. The place itself is impeccable without being showy or formal. The ambiance adds to the experience while managing to fade into the background. We left the restaurant already planning our next visit back. I feel like that’s the best compliment I can give!!

Superb new restaurant which is a family offshoot of Saffron across the street. Saffron is the best Indian restaurant in the city and, maybe, the best restaurant in the city. The Kingsway is the best Asian fusion restaurant that I have ever experienced. It has a wonderful fixed menu with three options for each of three courses and dessert. My dinner companion and I loved everything we ate. The restaurant is beautiful. The owners have invested in excellent sound proofing and noise reduction. One of the few popular restaurants in New Orleans that you can have a pleasant conversation at a normal speech level. I highly recommend it.

This was my second time dining at Kingsway, and once again, it blew me away. The tasting menu is brilliantly done — not limiting at all. Each visit felt like an entirely new experience: the first time I chose mostly seafood, the second time I chose the incredible duck and lamb. Both meals were fabulous, creative, and beautifully plated. The decor and atmosphere strike that perfect balance: stylish and elevated, yet still warm and approachable — you feel special without feeling stuffy. The service is just as thoughtful and spot-on. Kingsway is truly a gem and such a great addition to the New Orleans restaurant scene. Can’t wait to go back for round three!

This was fantastic. Our waiter Alec was awesome and our sommelier was superb (I don’t remember his name but he looks like Kip from Heated Rivalry).

What a pleasant surprise. Wasn’t expecting the varied Asian influence. The 4 course tasting menu had a nice variety of choices. The steak I had for the 3rd course had an amazing flavor. Portion sizes were generous, which isn’t always the case with tasting menus.

The evocation of Chef Ashwin Vilkhu’s childhood memories shines through perfectly on each and every plate, ensuring a truly memorable experience. Each plate is beautifully presented, with appropriate portions served at perfect temperatures. Each savory dish has wonderful umami, and the desserts are delicious and balanced. The service is attentive and unobtrusive, and the courses were timed perfectly. The table settings are welcoming, and the restaurant space makes one feel as if they are in an uptown NOLA home. I highly recommend The Kingsway for a truly incredible dining experience!

Innovative, fresh, delicious. The owners of Saffron have done it again. Bringing so many worldly flavors to one tiny plate. I was blown away by the decor, but even more so with the quality of service and the food. The menu is very interesting and always changes. While other restaurants are resting on their laurels, Saffron is giving it their whole heart and soul.

We had such a phenomenal evening at this Michelin-starred spot. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in New Orleans. The food was outstanding, with incredible quality, perfectly balanced bold flavors, and gorgeous presentation that made every dish feel special. I get why some people mention the price, but honestly, for a Michelin-starred restaurant, you're paying for top-tier ingredients, real skill, and that extra wow factor you just don't find everywhere else. It's worth it. The atmosphere was perfect: elegant yet comfortable, with music that fit the vibe just right, and everything (including the bathrooms) was spotlessly clean. Our waiter and the whole team were friendly, super attentive, and knowledgeable, which made the night even better. We will be returning.

The Kingsway was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was outstanding, and the fish in particular was next level. Huge shoutout to Taylor- the wine pairing was exceptional and perfectly complemented each course. Don’t skip it. Thoughtful, intentional, and elevated the entire meal. An incredible dining experience from start to finish. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The food is excellent. I very highly recommend the lamb, the duck, and the Tuna. They are very standout dishes. Don't sleep on the spare rib either. I really enjoyed the lighting/mood of this place. It was quite lively but still easy to have a conversation at the table. The pound cake was a great finish to the meal and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the key lime pie. The service was great. Everyone was very present, but not overwhelming. Truly a top tier restaurant.

The food is good, but pricey. It's $92 for a prix fixe dinner of 4 courses. The pictured soup was outstanding.

M
Matt Marino

Overall, the drinks and food were very, very good. Everything was cooked almost perfectly, very well plated and really delicious. I just don't think you are getting a $150 meal per person in the end. Plus tip. Just too expensive.

E
EBNOLA

I'm not a big fan of a set pick four items off the menu. In addition the time between each coarse was long. The whole dinner took close to two hours long. In addition if you pick a protein off the menu there is a additional up-charge for that. Three people with out drinks ran us close to $ 500.00

M
Meredith

The menu, food, drinks, and service were outstanding here, but we thought the music could have been softer and more mellow, and the prices were high. We paid, including the tip, almost $750 for a table of four, having one cocktail each, the prix fixe dinner menu, and a bottle of one of the cheaper wines on the wine list.

J
Jack Molisani

We did the multi course tasting menu. My dining partner likes her chili crab ramen nest and crispy shrimp. I had pork belly and short ribs--both were too sweet for my taste. Ditto for the honey glazed dinner role. My guest ordered ice tea which came in a white wine glass. Two glasses at $14 each? $28 for ice tea was rediculous. See photos for prentation and portion size.

Hit and miss. Some amazing dishes and drinks were stellar but some fell flat. My main was tasteless and left uneaten to get and cold. By the time we were checked on my company had finished their dishes and we were already on to dessert. Could be 5 stars with some effort.

We came towards the end of service on Valentines so I suspect that might have affected the quality of the food. First course we had was soup and dumplings. The soup was amazing, loved the chili and lime favors. The dumplings were okay. Second course we had the scallion lamb, they put a good amount to fill you up and it was well seasoned, especially the vegetables, but it was kind of a boring dish. Last course we had the wagyu beef, EXTREMELY chewy, was not worth the wait. By the time desert came, which was a chocolate cake, we each took a bite and were ready to leave. Foodwise the soup was the highlight but the other courses were good or okay which doesn't live up to the expectations I had for a Michelin star restaurant. Its possible their other courses represent their talents/strongsuits better but I dont really want to come back to test that theory out. I wholeheartedly would recommend to take a loved ones to Emerils instead for a better Michelin experience. Service was great from our waiter, I appreciated his attentiveness and he come off very personable. I would also like to thank him for his beer recommendation which helped me get through the night. Did not appreciate a comment from the hostess but I'd chalk it up to a bad joke
