This gets 5 stars for a solid 4 dollar 'slider' (it's a full sized burger) in midtown
The Chopped Cheese was top notch. Didnt love the pastrami, meat was tough, pre cut cold cut. Bread, sauce and cheese were good. Fresh pickles. I was between 4 and 5 but went for 5 stats because of the great service, the chef is a very nice guy and tries hard for you to be happy. Good location in Harold Square
This place offers real traditional flavors. This spot provides an easy-going, welcoming environment. The meal execution and staff conduct deserve commendation. The workers responded promptly to requests. I can't wait to go back!
Fast delicious food served with expert care. Came here for the Mrs fields cookies, stayed for the warm hospitality and delicious food the next day for breakfast. First time in New York and not disappointed.
Very busy diner, there a few seat to sit on. We went in at peak breakfast time, this was our first time in a deli so it a new experience which had I had the option, I wish I had more time to place my order, but when everyone else is running at 100mph, you have to also. Ordered two #5 meals, one pancake one French toast. You move down to the other end of the shop to pay and pick up your order. I don’t know how the staff do it, it’s like herding cats, people and orders coming from all sides, but they manage to keep it all u see control. Amazing stuff.

I’ve been coming to Al’s for almost 12 years! The best deli across the street from Macy’s Herald Square. Love their food… breakfast, lunch and dinner! I’m so glad they survived post-covid. Order: Turkey Bacon, Egg, and cheese sandwich with black pepper and ketchup
Good breakfast croissant sandwich with bacon eggs and cheese. The French toast was great. Fast and great service.
The chicken parm was really good. They served way too many fries though. Slightly overpriced but tasted really well. The hosts were nice to me too.
Grabbed breakfast here a couple of days. Both days we went for the bacon, egg and cheese roll. They were really fast, price is good, roll has a good size and it just tasted great, melted cheese, soft bread, crispy bacon. Lovely!
This was for our team! It was hot and delicious and a ton of food Eggs, home fries, toast, French toast, pancakes, bacon and sausage oh my! Plus all the extras you need that most places forget😐 Oh and the pricing was on point! Maria who took my order is always great(this is my 2nd time ordering with them)! And the deliver team they have are SUPER nice! Including their managers that made sure my orders were to my liking! Everything came on time🙌🏼

food was quite decent. However, the cashier lady is not only super rude but also got the price wrong and charged me more than I ordered.
**EDITING MY REVIEW AS OF 2024: They’ve raised the prices on everything here and it’s not worth it anymore. Lady at the register is super rude and up charges for every small addition to your order. Since when does someone have to pay extra for green peppers to be added to a chop cheese? That comes on the sandwich. That’s what makes the sandwich. $10 for one sandwich is a joke, especially when it used to be $6/7. A shame.
too good to go order, store closed before pick up time (also closed 3hrs before Google Maps time), staff ignored me at the door.
Mrs. Fields is known for having super soft cookies, but these were hard and tasted old. A total disappointment. I wouldn’t go back.
I'm a regular at this place due to the fact is, I work in the area. Whenever I order a meal I always order extra french fries and have no problem paying for it. But you call this extra french fries. It's bad enough I have to pay $0.50 extra for jalapenos for a burger. What they did was push all the french fries to one side of the cart in and put the sandwich on the other side.
I would rate it all bad stars! First their customer service is rude. They can’t offer a refund because they don’t refund food. Well I don’t want to be charged for raw food. The only offer he gave me was to go get another sandwich. Absolutely not.
Ordered tuna melt without the fries and chicken parm without the fried but they still charged me for the fries. Zero interest in trying to accommodate. We didn’t want the fries and we’re still charged for them.
