Arlo Roof top is one of the good rooftop in NYC located in very beautiful area. Food is OK and drinks are great! Very good place if you want to hang out with your friends or celebrate your birthday
I was staying at the Arlo and spent most nights up at Art. Terrell the manager and Estefani my server were amazing every time. They were so friendly, attentive, and even remembered my name which made it feel extra welcoming. The vibes were always great, the music was on point, and the Old Fashioneds were some of the best I’ve had. Wish we similar vibes like in Detroit. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the city.
Tion was just a wonderful host! Thank you for making our night. We had plans to venture off, but he was so great, we stayed. Thank you Tion and Janai!
Oscar and Lorena were wonderful servers and always attended to our needs! Gave us great recommendations and always checked up on us. Muchas gracias a Oscar and Lorena ❤️
The service here is top notch - special shoutout to Tion and Estefani for making my anniversary with my girlfriend so special!
Alexandra gave us an amazing experience!! Rooftop was not overly crowded at 8 pm on Friday and the music was great.
We came for the first time for a girls night out at Arlo rooftop and had an amazing time!! The employees were friendly and attentive, views of the city are phenomenal. We ordered a Honeydew Royale, Strawberry Frose, Watermelon fizz and Five boroughs summer ale beer. Also we had truffle fries. Drinks were a bit expensive but totally worth it!! The portion of the fries were good and they were yummy! We stayed to see the sunset and it was beautiful. Before we left we had some delicious cookies. Music selection was awesome and not too loud. I definitely be back when I will visit NYC again!
Very nice rooftop. Maybe the views aren’t the best but cocktails are great. The music is enjoyable and seats are really comfortable. The menu is digital and you can order your drinks online so there’s no need to ask a waitress to take your order. Prices are what you would expect in a NYC rooftop.
View and vibes were perfect for a Sunday afternoon wanting Spritz on a rooftop. Our waitress Estapani was pretty awesome and went out of her way to accommodate us. We will be back!
From start to finish, working with Arlo Roof Top to organize a cocktail party in their semi-private space was a pleasure. They were very clear, attentive, and easy to work with, and gave excellent hosting recommendations. Our server, Jo, was very accommodating. The cocktails were very yummy, the food was delicious, and there was enough range in the food menu for everybody. We tried just about everything on the menu and it was all good. Thanks Arlo Roof Top for such a fun evening for our crew!
Alberto and Arturo were very attentive and made the best drinks I have had in NY. Even took the time to explain how to drink the Top Gun cocktail and make it taste different from 1 drink to the next. This is a must try on your SOHO adventure!!!!
My friend and I came here after dinner for a drink to watch the sunset — the cocktail we ordered was delicious, the view was fantastic, the ambiance was lively, and the staff were all nice! Joe is the person who took care of us. Joe was very accommodating, gave us good suggestions and had such a positive attitude, which is always appreciated! Even though they were super busy, he made sure to check on us all throughout the time we spent at our table. Loved his energy! Arlo rooftop was a good time and I am sure I will be back throughout the summer.
This hotel is a great place to work, hang out or just eat or having a drink in the rooftop bar. The ambient is very easy going and lots of people just work on their notebooks or eat, drink and chill. We spend there few days working and had lots of fun.
Amazing rooftop. The truffle fries are what dreams are made of. Jasmine was our waitress and she was absolutely lovely. Great service, great drinks, incredible atmosphere in the most beautiful part of Manhattan! A must go to!
We could take a train had a great experience at the rooftop bar. We had Alonzo and Isaiah The security guard helping us from start to finish. Absolutely incredible they made us feel comfortable, and we had a table at the rooftop, So they took very good care of us. Thank you, Alonzo and Isaiah!
Mateos and Antonio were incredible. Made our holiday party extra amazing and special!
Jasmine was incredible!!! This was my second time at the Arlo for a team event and she was the reason why I decided to come back and host another event here. Amazing service, she is so kind and attentive. Thank you Jasmine!!!
Arturo and Gabriel was great bartenders my drinks were beyond perfect and tasty, the speciality cocktails were beyond delicious and the enegry was great, with a great view and great energy through random people
Had such a great time. Food and drinks were great and service was phenomenal. Jasmine was amazing. Thank you so much!
Oscar was the highlight of our data-nerd happy hour! Incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely enthusiastic—he made complex topics feel accessible and fun. Whether we were deep-diving into analytics or just chatting casually, Oscar brought great energy and insight to every conversation. Huge thanks for making the night both smarter and more enjoyable!
Jasmine was great! Our team had a happy hour on the rooftop and it was perfect- go did food, good drinks, fantastic service from the team. Will be back!
Rooftop area was nice. Drinks and fries were good. Our server, Estefani, was great!
Did not eat. Was there for a birthday party and it was FANTASTIC!!!! Even for an old lady like me. I would say it is definitely more for 20s and 30s but this 52 yr old had a blast along with my other 50 yr old friends.
Oscar was so sweet and attentive! He kept checking in with us throughout the evening to make sure everything was perfect. His thoughtful service really made the experience special.
Oscar was the best waiter at the rooftop bar! He made our night so fun with his bubbly personality and was super attentive!
Absolutely love this hotel! Stayed here for my sister’s birthday and had the best time. Very accommodating, modern and fun. We were so impressed with the rooftop bar! Food and drinks were SO GOOD! Bartender Estefani provided us with the BEST SERVICE! She made our stay even better! Thank you Estefani for making my sister’s birthday so special!
I recently visited ART SoHo (the rooftop bar at the Arlo SoHo in NYC) and had an absolutely stellar experience—thanks in large part to our server, Oscar. From the moment we arrived, Oscar welcomed us with a warm and genuine smile. He took the time to introduce the menu, highlight seasonal cocktails (we ended up trying a Fig & Maple Old Fashioned and a Watermelon Fizz which were both fantastic), and genuinely offered recommendations tailored to our group’s tastes. He wasn’t just “checking in” — he checked in with us, making sure each round, each bite, and each moment was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooftop itself is stunning: sweeping skyline views of downtown Manhattan and the Hudson River give the entire space a kind of effortless “wow” factor. The indoor-outdoor layout is perfect for shifting between sun-soaked lounging and night-out energy. The food and drink menu compliment the setting beautifully — we shared small plates and cocktails, and each hit the mark.
While staying at Arlo recently, I went up to their rooftop to get some pictures of the city at night. The view was lovely, however the highlight of the evening was meeting Tion! He was our bartender & now a new friend. Next time you're in NYC, be sure to visit Arlo Rooftop & ask for him ~
TION!!!!! Literally the best bartender I have ever had the pleasure to be served by. Absolute class act! Was the sole bartender and everyone was treated with speed and perfection. Could talk bravo TV with him forever!!
Amazing service, the whole staff was friendly! Good vibes. Food and drinks came out pretty fast. The hosts were attentive and the servers Tion and Stef carried on a good conversation. Can’t complain for my experience.
Oscar was an amazing waiter! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of without us ever having to ask. His service was fast, professional, and he had such a warm attitude that really made our experience even better. Definitely one of the best waiters we’ve had — thank you, Oscar!
Tion was amazing! He ran an entire bar and full cocktail lounge with no sweat. Drinks and vibes were outstanding
I had an amazing experience from the moment I walked in. Alonzo gave us such a warm greeting and was so helpful in getting us inside and answering all of our questions. Once inside, the drinks were delicious and our server, Alexandra, gave us some great recommendations. Everyone was so knowledgeable in the cocktails and story behind them which added to the ambiance.
Tion was great! Love it here at Arlo, they always take care of us. Will be back soon!
We had such a great experience here! Our server, Jasmine, was incredibly warm and attentive—she checked in with us just the right amount and truly made sure we were enjoying our time. We ordered a few bites to share, and everything was delicious. You really can’t go wrong with the chicken tenders and a big bowl of fries, but the veal meatballs were the real showstopper. We’ll definitely be coming back!
My man Tion was awesome. The service was impeccable. The drinks were on point. Highly recommend.
Stopped in randomly on a Friday evening without reservation. The views were nice, the rooftop itself was pretty spacious, and the prices were what I’d consider standard for NYC. Brenda was a great server! She ensured that my friend and I were taken care of and she did so with a smile. Sheila, the bartender, was rude. She was extremely slow to speak to us as we stood in front of her at the bar and even slower to take our orders. When we asked her to pay hours later, a coworker of hers said, “They want to pay,” and she verbatim responded, “They can wait.” It felt like she didn’t want to service us and that type of behavior is unacceptable from a bartender. As far as drinks, I had a Hennessy Sidecar that was amazing! All in all, I’d definitely go back, but with a reservation so that we have a designated place to sit.
Arlo Soho is the beautiful and vibrant rooftop at the top of the A.R.T. Soho hotel with gorgeous views of the Hudson River and Freedom Tower. The rooftop is a year round venue perfect for date nights or casual hangs with the crew, with both indoor and outdoor seating. I especially like this spot because it has a young and fun vibe and also is reasonably priced. I came here for drinks and dinner with friends at sunset and it was dreamy. I love that the food menu ranges from shared bites to tacos and sandwiches, and I really enjoyed the chicken bites, guac and truffle fries. Check this place out and order a hibiscus spritz on a nice, sunny day!
Rooftop bar...came by here over the weekend. Vibe is good and staff is friendly. Its pet friendly, some guy had a dog with him. We just ordered a couple of bottles if rose. Recommend this spot if your looking for a place to chill during the day.
Came here for drinks on a Saturday evening. Tables were all booked so if you're looking to come on a busy night you'd have to book in advance (unless you're okay to seat indoors). Prices for drinks were very reasonable, the music was good, and I felt that the median age of people who go there is about 22~23 years. Arlo hotel is pet friendly and it was nice to enjoy the rooftop with out Frenchie who stole many hearts :)
Loved happy hour at this rooftop bar! Excellent location, great ambiance and crowd. Excellent staff and menu. My only two callouts: First, finding the elevator to get to the rooftop bar was a bit challenging. Second, make sure to say “mini” frose for the happy hour pricing on this drink. Otherwise, I had a great experience and will definitely return.
Art Soho, a rooftop hotel bar, mainly caters to tourists and hotel guests. The service was friendly, although we experienced a considerable wait for our first round of drinks. Thankfully, the pace picked up after that initial delay. The menu includes a variety of mocktails, which we appreciated, though $14 for a non-alcoholic drink felt a bit steep. The other cocktails, priced at $20, were good but not great. While Art Soho might not be crafting the best drinks in the city, the vibe and outdoor setting make it a decent spot to relax. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but it's nice to know it's an option when you're in the area.
Decent rooftop bar with a view. Drinks are okay, but not spectacular nor very innovative which is to be expected. Service was friendly and professional. My only complaint would be that they religiously rim every cocktail with the same ingredients which makes them all seem similar.
Such a cute, chill vibe. I had one of their seasonal drinks — the strawberry mai tai (it has some rhubarb in it) — and I love their shoestring fries with truffle aioli. There’s definitely not a view to brag about but there are cozy seats and little nooks that make the experience intimate + good music, and the staff are really nice.
Vibe was cool and the seating was nice if you are outdoors. Drinks and service was fine. Crowd was 20-30 year old but it was still nice. I think Fri. & Sat. require tickets. I suggest you confirm before your visit.
Nothing more special than any other rooftop space, overpriced drinks and food. Really, $35 for a chicken sandwich (no way I bought that and never would pay that), seriously? Apart from that, we had a great time but we could've anywhere else and still had the same great time.
My wife and I spent three nights at the Arlo SoHo hotel and had a great experience. Unfortunately, our experience at the bar was not similar. Our drinks were plainly uninspired, and I am not picky when it comes to an Old Fashioned. For $25 drinks a watered down bourbon with a thick orange peel did not fit the bill.
I wish I could give this place a better review because the food was phenomenal but unfortunately I cannot. We waited for over 20 minutes just for someone to take our order, another 20 mins to get our drinks, and 20 more mins after that to get our food. And our food was delivered to the table next to us instead and so we had to wait until after our food to eat the fries since they left those at the other table. Overall the staff were really rude, except for one gentleman who was bar tending/serving and he is the only reason I am giving two stars here. Way too expensive for the horrible service.
Really disappointing. First round of drinks was great, second round we would have sent back if it wouldn’t have wasted another half hour. We arrived at 5:30, were able to grab space at the outdoor bar (but had to go indoors for service). No issue, quick service. Then it got crowded. Two bartenders inside for a massive crowd despite us having seats at the outdoor bar with no service (and watching what seemed to be at least 10 waiters moving around for not enough tables). I waited 40 minutes for 3 drinks and they were made wrong - one over sweetened, one with flat tonic and one old fashioned with no bitters. I was the second in a row to be grossly overcharged for the drinks I ordered (they tried to charge me an extra $100, the guy next to me just $20) and it took forever to resolve - 3 tries for the guy next to me. A sorry excuse for an NY rooftop on a warm day. The two bartenders they had were hustling but not supported by any of the pile of staff and the managers seemed to be more focused on chatting amongst the staff than helping out. There was also an indoor DJ that was insanely out of place for the vibe - his only purpose seemed to be to interfere with the bartenders’ ability to hear drink orders from frustrated patrons.
Decent place but you should let guests know there’s a 20% service charge before a purchase. I get that people don’t tip but a heads up would help. Also, having no food is diabolical.
