My daughter and I were doing some shopping in the area and stopped by this cafe to get something to eat. I had to use the restroom so I did that first and was glad it was clean. We went over the menu and decided on butter pancakes, grilled ham and cheese, a chocolate milkshake and a pineapple and ginger tea. We chose a table to sit at while we sang along to the music that played. The gentleman who rang our order up brought our food and drinks over to us which was very thoughtful. I appreciate good service! The food and drinks were delicious. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely stop by Cafe Benne again. Beautiful atmosphere and decor, wonderful service and delicious food.

Omg this store is amazing I love the food and the vibe! The staff was great and so helpful. The boba is great and so is their coffee, more than just coffee and tea though the food is fabulous I had a bagel it was so fresh. The price was also perfect!

I think this is a pretty good cafe. It's not luxurious, but it's affordable and convenient. The food is served quickly. There are coffee, drinks, milk tea, waffles, sandwiches, bagels, croissants, and even ice cream. There are still many choices. The price is not expensive, and there are often many students. It's very pleasant to chat.

Great coffee and cozy atmosphere! Caffe Bene is a perfect spot to relax and get some work done. Love their bagels, open sandwiches, spicy chicken sandwich and their friendly service. Highly recommended!

A Monday afternoon in August and I don't usually do this but I decided to stop at this place and treat myself to kill some time away from the outdoor madness on Canal St. Upon entering it felt very cozy. Lots of wood. Wooden tables, seating, a lovely well decorated large scale wooden book case. There is much on the menu to choose from, it took me a while to decide. I ended up ordering Breakfast plate #1. I also tried the Guava iced-tea lemonade to go with it. The first thing to arrive at my table was the Guava drink. I wasn't thrilled at first sip but my taste buds seemed to have a change of heart after the next few sips with the food that came after. I found myself absolutely loving this drink! The more I drank the more this flavor made me feel as if I were somewhere relaxing on a tropical beach (contained no alcohol btw). There is just something about the flavor. So they brought the breakfast platter out to my table and It was a big plate, filled with goods (scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and salad). It looked great and it tasted even better. I was very pleased. The atmosphere was nice. Incoming customers decent. They have outlets by the tables for convenient device charging. I actually really enjoyed eating at this place. It was a pleasant experience and I definitely want to come back here again to try another one of their drinks. The only downfall--the bathroom door from the inside (spray painted with graffiti). [Paint the door you guys!] Otherwise, great! ;)

Cute, quite little place. Stopped in to grab a drink. I ordered the S’more hot chocolate, and an ice coffee. Paid about $9 for everything. They offer food, and pastries.

12/31/2025 - Would I come back? Yes Food- The waffles were very crispy rather than light and fluffy, which didn't suit my taste. The fruit was fresh, though the strawberries in this batch were slightly bitter. The bacon was perfectly crispy. While the sausage had great flavor, it was a bit underdone for my liking; next time, I would request it well-done. The eggs were undercooked compared to the promotional photos and lacked any seasoning. Fortunately, the saltiness of the bacon helped balance the flavor, but I will specify "well-done" and if they can add salt and pepper on my next visit. Service- Was decent— not much to say for me as my order was a take out so it was a grab and go. Atmosphere- Didn’t stay but it looks Cozy.

My husband and I both ordered breakfast sandwiches. He got a croissant for the bread, and I got a roll. They both were sweet, which is, my opinion, off-putting in a breakfast sandwich. Also, the sausage in the sandwich was more like bratwurst than breakfast sandwich. It's almost like AI was asked to put together a breakfast sandwich.

The sandwiches here are average, the macaroons are just above average. This is the better spot in this area in Soho for quick grab sandwiches and salads. Wooden indoor seating. I have had Tuna on everything bagel 3/5, chicken sandwich is 2.5/5, coffee is ok. Overall an average spot

We just ordered a cappuccino and a coffee. My coffee was fine. We didn’t order any of the food. I intend to come back and try some of the other fare. The food actually looked really good, and so did the desserts. The place does have plenty of seating, and it has much more than just coffee. It is a nice place, I just didn’t think the coffee was as good as it could be.

The drinks were good. However it didn’t smell very good inside. It was a little stuffy und you couldn’t look through the windows because of big sticker blocking the view.
