Ok, go to this bar. It’s unassuming which I love so it’s never too packed in here. The drinks are top tier, the djs play great house music sets and the crowd is lively. Sit by the bar or little nooks they have around the bar. Very cute for an after date spot too. If don’t eat here be it the waiter said tv e food is great.

We asked if we could swap the fries for something healthier (like a salad), but could tell right away it was going to be a problem for our very new/sweet/fun server still learning the system (handheld device), so we stuck with the fries and they were great (thin and crispy)!

We were able to grab a table on the patio and the space was lively and bustling with conversations. We had their pizza martini, it was well balanced and delicious on a warm afternoon. This is a great place to stop in and have a cocktail with friends.

Sat outside and people watched. Enjoyed the Expresso Martini, prepared very fresher. One glass will have you feeling energized and a little buzz. I don’t drink hardly on under very rare special occasion.

So foods is great and “vibes” are too. But I’m sorry I have to be honest. Can you get a grip and let people enjoy a meal / drinks when your paying 90+ USD / person for an experience? The waiters made us feel uncomfortable with their looks and gestures. It felt like they where trying to get us to get out ASAP. I get it: there a lot of people and demand and shifts are hectic but still. When your paying a reasonably high price for 4 dishes and 2 drinks, I think let your customers enjoy their experience in peace without making them feel like they have to rush out of the restaurant. I felt like me and my partner were being treated like a swarm of cows which needed feeding and a quick turn. Not cool and I won’t be coming back because of that specifically. Xx

Good vibes terrible food. A couple of us completely hated our food. I ordered Cacio e Peppe and it was cold hard pasta drenched in butter, my friend ordered meatballs and they where burned so she didn’t even eat them, and my other friend had a questionable salad with a really overcooked chicken. My fourth friend ordered a medium burger that was well done but at least she got to eat it. Don’t know if the intern was cooking in the kitchen on a Saturday night but the food definitely ain’t it. Great spot for drinks tho and I think the fries look decent 🥴.

I initially thought we had had such a gorgeous evening at this place, and the drinks were good, but I got sick, I think from the lamb meatballs, which were hard and I suspect in retrospect were off. The situation sitting at outdoor tables on the closed street is gorgeous, but next time, I would only drink there. The food was only ok, and generally I don’t go back to places whose food made me sick.

Came here on a Sunday evening looking to enjoy the patio seating and have a few glasses of wine in a party of four. It was very empty at this time and there were few people coming by dimes square so we thought the environment was very lax. Unfortunately was immediately talked down by a pretty rude waitress while I was waiting inside on the phone who asked me about the paper plate I was holding that I was looking to throw out and basically kicked me out to throw it away before being seated. We were told to seat ourselves and so when we combined two tables for our party of four the same waitress came to tell us that they usually don’t allow that and why did we do that, but “whatever”. Clearly having a rough day and thought to take it out by power tripping some customers. The atmosphere was nice but the lack of hospitality will deter me from ever coming back. The other waitresses were quite sweet, but they do not make up for this one’s lack.

I had a mixed experience at Valentina in the Lower East Side. The food was actually really good and the drinks were okay, but unfortunately the service completely changed the vibe of the night. The hostess, Hannah (blonde girl), was passive-aggressive from the moment we arrived and made us feel unwelcome the entire time. Her attitude toward us was rude and uncomfortable throughout the evening. It’s disappointing because the place itself has potential, but hospitality matters just as much as the food.

We ordered 4 things. Salad we really wanted was unavailable. Corn ribs, cesar, steak frites, diet coke. Easily could have been coursed. Thats what we were expecting. But instead we waited 25 minutes for any food to hit the table. It hit all at once on our small outdoor table. Med rare steak was completely raw. Diet coke was flat and sour. No one ever checked on us. During the meal the manager instructed the staff to move our patio table after we left so its not in front of the neighboring business. The team member promptly came over to our table (with food on it) saying he had to move us over immediately. If you are actually hungry, this place is a waste of time and money.

People who work there have 0 manners. Especially the hostess or whatever her position was. I would never go again or suggest this place to anybody else

Super disappointing experience. Our server, Naja, was extremely rude—she couldn’t have been more unwelcoming from the second we walked in. In combination of her poor attitude and pretty much ignoring us for the entire night (until it was time for us to select a tip on our check), I was shocked. This was my fourth time here and I used to love this place—I’m not coming back. It also took her nearly an hour to come take our food order, after we asked for a couple more minutes to decide. This was one of the first times I was really debating on leaving a tip or not.

Extremely rude hostess. My friends are 23 / 24 and were carded in extremely intrusive ways and then denied for fake ids. It went so far as her asking our weights. They were obviously all real ids and have been to this place multiple times - will never be returning.

I was there with 2 friends sitting at a corner table by the entrance. With no notice they they told us we needed to move so that they could setup the DJ in the corner. They then RUSHED us to leave immediately. They they told us they had another spot for us but there were still people there. So we decided to pay and leave. As we were leaving there was no DJ. They gave the spot they kicked us out of to a couple.

Had one drink after having a great dinner next door. Lady Bar tender was super unfriendly and just unapproachable. I ended up googling the different type of drinks they had instead of asking because I felt like I was bothering her. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend . For the record I was the only one at the bar when I arrived

If it were possible to leave a 0 star review I would. Came to get drinks with friends and we are well over 21 (23 and 24). Got questioned about our ID’s and answered all questions correctly and got refused service. She asked my weight and height; first of all asking for weight is incredibly inconsiderate and rude. Second that isn’t even on an ID. Staff were so rude, worse than I’ve ever encountered at any bar.

Would not recommend. They do not care for their customers. We sat in the corner of the bar starting around 7 PM. Before that, the bar was nice. We had great service and At 9 PM, with no notice (and right after we received a new round of drinks) they kicked us out of the corner saying that a DJ was going to take our spot. When we took more than a minute to leave, they rushed us to leave the area. While we were leaving the area, they brought a table in and barely allowed us to leave. In the process, they threw us in the back by the bathroom and told us we couldn't sit down because all tables were reserved. They tried to accommodate us by telling us that we could get a bar where other people were "leaving soon". Those people had no intention of leaving and we were crammed into a corner by the bathroom while waiting for them to leave. In the end we found out there was no DJ, there were just two people of a more "preferred group" who ended up taking our spot. We left because we were poorly treated. Long story short, do not recommend, they will prefer their own clientele to you. Especially if you do not fit their expected clientele, race and otherwise.

I don't expect anything from service workers other than basic respect, even like a head nod of acknowledgement will suffice, I swear it took more effort for her to act like we didn't exist.
