Opinions de Casa La Femme New York
Beautiful place . Cozy, romantic and discreet. Traditional design and furnished with lots of elements from their culture . The food is good . Not pricey but you need to pay attention to what you are adding . Not sure if always but at times they can have a little artistic show with belly dance .
Beautiful experience from start to finish. shout out to Isabelle. My boyfriend and I celebrated 3 years together on valentines day and Casa La Femme and their team really hit the nail on the head.
Casa La Femme is an amazing find in the West Village. If you want to have a good time and feel like You and an Exotic place Casa La Femme is the place to go. The service, food and ambience is worth a trip. I’ve always been satisfied going to casa La Femme, especially in the evening. Casa La Femme also has a show in the evening hours with belly dancers and great sounding music. Its a must go with your friends.
Exquisite! My mom and I came here for dinner and the staff, ambiance and food were amazing. Our waiter was especially attentive. We had to change our reservation last minute and the restaurant easily accommodated our request. The restaurant was lively on a Friday night but we only had a 3 minute wait to get our table. The decor, vibe, and music, all transport the guests to a Middle Eastern oasis. My mom and I started with some drinks (a mojito and a margarita), both of which were very well made. We then got a triple dip combination for our appetizer (which came with the softest pita bread you will ever taste in your life) as well as the grilled octopus salad (so fresh and divine)! For entrees, my mom ordered the grilled bronzino while I ordered the mixed grill combo which included lamb, a ground beef kebob, and chicken kebob, all of which were delicious. The portions were big enough for us to take the leftovers home. We also got to see the wonderful belly dance show which really entertained the crowd. I genuinely recommend giving this place a chance, for a full tummy and a happy soul. You won’t regret it. (Please excuse the photo quality of the images attached, they are stills from videos I took).
We had a great dinner. Delicious Egyptian food. We had Koshary, mahshi, molokheya taameya and mosakaa. The ambience is fantastic and we were lucky to assist a belly dance. Service is very warm and welcoming and the waiters know the menu welI. would go again.
A hidden gem in the heart of busy downtown Manhattan. I didn’t expect to find such a beautiful, halal-friendly spot with this much charm and warmth. The food was flavorful, well-portioned, and fairly priced—especially considering you’re also paying for the incredible ambiance. Just a block from Hudson Pier, it's perfect for a sunset stroll after dinner. The romantic interior, belly dance shows, and DJ nights make it feel like a mini escape. But what truly made my experience memorable was the staff. They treat you more like a friend than a customer—attentive yet respectful of your space. They’ll share stories about the restaurant’s history and décor if you're curious, but never overwhelm you. Highly recommend for a cozy lunch or a magical evening out.
We had an excellent experience at Casa for a birthday dinner. From helping with the planning to the set up to the exceptional service, the delicious freshly prepared food everything was just perfect. I can’t thank the Casa team enough for the beautiful and memorable event. The dining space is just gorgeous, the music is perfect and the belly dancing was the cherry on the top! All the food was excellent, starting with the fresh pitas with a mezze sampler and ending with one of the best desserts we’ve had. Highly recommend for an event or an intimate dinner.
This is an amazingly beautiful space, wow. The service was impeccable, so attentive and really makes you feel special. The food is just incredible. Delicious apps, the Salmon melted away by my fork. The dessert and cocktails were also spot on. Then a belly dancer came out to top off the magical evening. Truly a special place, great for dates, out just a relaxing drink. Happy to finally come here. You should too. Enjoy
We stumbled upon this place walking and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Everything blew us away. The restaurant is decorated beautifully, food was fabulous, there was a belly dancer and staff was caring. I’m happy we found this place walking.. I surprised by the low google reviews. This is a great date night spot or place for a group dinner.
Coming from a Mediterranean culture this was a very welcome experience. Atmosphere, servixe, drinks and food were all top notch. I especially liked the Nana Khiyar specialty cocktail, make sure to.order plenty of pita with the Mezzas and the mixed grill kabob was phenomenal. Oh, ice cream baklava should be packaged and sold in designer stores! Delish!!
Isabel was the nicest host you could want at a nice place like this. She explained how the dishes were and how they make em, also made sure to take care of my Mom the guest of honor who had her birthday dinner with me and grandma. Highly recommend getting extra pita breads cause theyre super good. The head chef even came out at the end to thank us for visiting and wished my Mom well on her day. Parking garage was right across the street too so that was a super plus.
it was an unforgettable experience. The moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the cozy, authentic atmosphere. The food was delicious. The highlight was the live belly dance performance, which made us feel like we had stepped out of New York and into Egypt. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring we had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic Egyptian dining experience. This interior 😍😍😍 even the floor. I absolutely love this restaurant.
I’ve been to Casa La Femme before, but this was my first time going for brunch—and it was incredible! As a vegetarian, I was happy with the options. I ordered the falafel sandwich and the vegan shakshouka, and both were absolutely delicious. The shakshouka was filled with flavor—and had eggplant, chickpeas, and the most perfectly spiced tomato sauce. It comes with homemade pita, but I ended up putting it right on top of my falafel sandwich, and it was great! The service was phenomenal—attentive without being overbearing—and I never had an empty glass. The atmosphere is stunning: airy, lush, and beautifully designed to feel like you’re outside while still being indoors. It’s the perfect spot for a summer brunch. I’d recommend Casa La Femme to anyone looking for a fun brunch spot with great food. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Loved the place. Neighborhood was upscale and very active. Was upset we couldn't sit in the back where it was more romantic. This was a special occasion. Food was excellent. Service was great. I didn t feel like I was being rushed as many places are. The dancer was good, although she tended to dance only in front of men. Most were with a woman, so alittle annoying.
Amazing atmosphere and some of the most delicious food I've ever eaten; I’ll definitely be back.
Had no idea that I was walking into such a beautiful establishment. Was asked if a had a reservation and when I said no they still accommodated my wife and I. We were a Way under dressed and realized once we walked in. Next time I'll be better prepared. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend the lentil soup and the mosuka. The baklava ice cream is a must have, perfect portion.
Pretty expensive but it’s a beautiful place. Great atmosphere and service, good drinks. Food is good but not amazing. I’d only go here for a special occasion due to the price and the fact that there’s a brief belly dancing thing which is kinda cool.
The atmosphere and interior is very well decorated, perfect for a date night or celebrating a nice birthday. Service was amazing our waitress was very attentive and answered any questions we had regarding the menu. Food was good as well. Celebrated a birthday here and the dessert was definitely the best part from all the food served, highly suggest trying it out. I would say the only downside is for the amount of food served this place is pretty expensive, so just keep that in mind.
Such an amazing experience!!! Lewis is the sweetest and made sure we were happy till the end. The decor is straight from Alice in wonderland and the food was magical as well. The mocktails looked and tasted great. Definitely recommend it for any occasion especially a girls day out!!
Had a wonderful time at Casa La Femme we were able to order shrimp Kebab off the Valentines prefix menu. We had the Mezzas select 3: Humas, Babaganoush, Harrisa, Mashway Mediterranean Charcoal Grill: Mix Grill with Beef Kofta Kebab, Chicken Kebab and Lamb Chop, Tagine Egyptian braised vegetable stew with your choice of Rice, Baklava Egyptian pastry rolled tightly with coconut, pistachio, almonds and walnuts, and Baklava Ice Cream Baklava pieces mixed into ice cream. It was so good. I enjoyed everything we ate. For drinks we had a Guava Mintini Pitcher. We were all twisted LOL 😆 And we ended the night with wine and cappuccinos. What a wonderful night. The belly dancer was amazing and I enjoyed the whole show. I even got up and danced with her. Thank you for such a great experience we will be back again. Thank you Amir for being such an attentive and patience waiter we had such a great time with you.
Ambiance is 10/10 for sure! One of the prettiest outdoor dining set ups I’ve seen. Had a lovely time here. They have lots of heaters to keep you warm and their outdoor space is well ventilated. The food is a bit expensive, but we enjoyed it! You’re paying for the atmosphere, which worth it. Our waitress, B, was super friendly and took excellent care of us. We really appreciated that they let us stay chatting until closing time instead of rushing us out. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a gorgeous spot with cute decor.
You definitely have to try this beautiful restaurant. I have been twice so far and each time everything was incredible and the experience/service is always top tier. After 8pm they have a belly dancing show which just adds a fun element to the elegance of the space. 10/10
My husband and I had a reservation at 5:30 last Friday. We have a wonderful time with nothing but positive things to say. The food was delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine and a cocktail. Neither disappointed. I reserved a tent indoors and it was very romantic. We sat in our own area under drapes and a candle lit table. The service was incredible. Everyone was attentive, efficient, and very friendly. Decor was also beautiful. I literally have zero negative things to say about this place. If you’re not sure about going, make the jump and go for it! We will definitely be back!
Good food served by people who know how to treat customers. Workers demonstrate food expertise alongside kindness. Noteworthy location. The food is not too heavy, not too salty, amazing texture and overall thoughtful & creative. I'm anticipating trying different dishes next time.
Fresh ingredients, caring service, and perfect execution made our visit memorable. The waiters hustle and the food rewards your patience. The food is consistently good and the service always pleases. Restaurant employees were particularly accessible and kind. This restaurant has convinced me to come back.
Went for a celebration and it was an experience. The belly dancer was well engaged and the food was great. However the 3 course meal was not what I expected but it all worked out. Two appetizers and a main course. We had a photo shoot and all. Great vibe!
I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday with friends for a birthday dinner. The decorum is absolutely beautiful. It was a comfortable and welcoming environment. To start the drinks were so good. I opted for the lemonada!! I highly recommend that drink. Two of my guests got it with tequila instead of vodka and that was yummy too. The food is also good. I truly enjoyed my mixed grill meal. The highlight on that platter was the lamb chops and the chicken. The fattah was so delicious. For the appetizers we selected the mezzas. I like spicy so the Harrisa was the best to me. The service was attentive and our waiter provided excellent suggestions. He was warm and friendly as well. Very interactive. The additional patrons at the restaurant were equally engaging and fun. The belly dancer was good. She was friendly and honestly we just had great conversation with her after the show. I would definitely come back but I would like to sit at the bar and chill. I recommend anyone to try this restaurant.
Came here to celebrate my cousin’s birthday and we had a great time. We did the $45 prix fix menu for the 9 of us. We tried pretty much everything on the menu and everything was tasty. The service was also great. The reason for my 4 stars and not 5. As I went back to look at the menu because we wanted to come back I noticed that there were desert included and we never got the desert, that was kind of disappointing since everything else was great. But it made me feel like we didn’t get everything we paid for.
Ambiance was amazing! The outdoor space was gorgeous! It didn’t really sit well with us that we had to pay just to make a reservations though. The food was good but not great. The portions were a bit smaller than expected but not too small. The waiters were slow and I had to constantly flag them down especially when it wasn’t too busy. I don’t want them hanging around but disappearing for a long time was weird. It is a bit pricey but you have to experience it at least once. I didn’t go when there was a belly dancer would want to check that out.
Casa La Femme is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a romantic ambiance. The weather was nice during our visit so it was a good night for the indoors/outdoors thing they do. The food was flavorful and portions were quite nice, but OMG, the pita bread. It’s the best I’ve ever tasted! However, the service here leaves a lot to be desired. My husband and I ordered the Shrimp Kebabs which comes with Hummus and Pita Bread (literally the best part)…but they left off our Pita Bread and it took FOREVER for us to finally get it. Ordering drinks was also a pain as they took quite long with those as well. I almost gave them 3 stars but seriously, you gotta taste that Pita Bread! I’d go back there and endure the bad service just to get some!
Overall: 4.5 out of 5 Absolutely love the ambiance! 10 out of 5 (if that’s an option) It’s so well decorated. Their service managers take pride in their ambiance and they would let you take a tour of the place and click pictures (it’s worth it). The food is reasonably priced and has decent taste overall. We tried three Mezza and chicken mixed grill. Although I believe the plating could be better to match their surrounding. 4/5 The place is perfect for romantic dine in, they have private ‘room like’ section for exclusive dining experience with your loved ones! Overall, I would definitely come here in the future with my significant other!!
The only issue I had with service was the wait for our reserved time. Granted we were late 15 minutes and called in to advise with acknowledgement - our seating took almost 30-40 minutes. Otherwise from that moment on, service was attentive and was on top of everything. Drinks were amazingly balanced and food was exquisite. Add that to the ambience and you have an amazing experience on hand.
The vibes and Decoration is 10 out of 10. The service is lovely and professional. I live that they not rushing us. I got a couple seat which one factor that I deduct the point is just the table are too high and not match with the chair. I love them as good by itself both Chairs and table but the proportion aren’t right. Would be better if they can lower the table for Couple seats. Food is Good and tasty from Drinks, Appetizer, Main course and Dessert. I cut the point here as Mix Grilled is a little dry for me but the garlic rice is fantastic. The Belly Dance is Very nice and lively but be noticed that It might not start on time if you plan to see it. Not a problem for me as I can chill and lounging with some good drinks and Vibes.
The place is nice, for the publicity would’ve expected way more, the deco was on mood but it overall look in places sloppy mounted. The food was awesome and the drinks great too. The performance is not very well appreciated in every spot of the dinner and is brief and expected to be tipped, so I didn’t like that! The best lamb chops!!! Exquisite.
Wonderful Mediteranean (some would say Arabian) setting. With mini-cabanas inside of the resturant and a dune-inspired setting. The menu itself was a bit confusing for me, I guess for my first time, but filled with treats. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy feta on pita (an appetizer). Also the melongene and hummus. Also ordered the lamb chops and the Tamarind drink was to die for ! The service was impeccable. And did I mention the live Belly-dancers ? It was such an authentic touch ! All in all I loved the ambiance and the patrons were low key; a very matured vibe.
We had good food and busboys were doing great job , but on the end of the dinner when I asked to close the bill server Christian maybe forgot maybe not , he didn’t tell me about gratuity already included(18%) he just showed me the screen with tips options I choose 25% , but I asked him to provide me a physical copy of the bill , he gave me that and then I spotted such a crazy tip article, Christian left the floor probably he wanted me to live the place first , I know this tricks because I was part of this industry for many years , but I call another person and asked him to find my guy , after that he start telling he told me about gratuity but he didn’t and my girlfriend saw that too , when I asked him to take of my 25% from the bill he started playing games he can’t do it , then I told him I was in investment of the restaurant before and I know how it works, before they closed a day you can avoid or adjust anything in the system, I asked him to call manager, he said he is not in the place , so it takes around 30 minutes to fix this situation, so before you pay always check your bill and take paper copy , because some of the people taking advantage of tourists and you could be one of them ( my friend who was with us that night told me he had the same experience in this place on April so she decided to make a claim, probably you will see her review soon too ) please be careful with your money, it’s not mistake it’s how they taking advantage of a people around , that’s why I was so disappointed, the rest is fine , for the owners little advice keep your eye on your business or trust it to reliable people because you put your reputation under the risk , thank you
The appetizer bread was very good, it had a very nice flavor and felt fresh. The mousaka was very flavorful too. The dessert baklava is just two pieces, can't say much about it. The service was okay, they were very helpful with the menu. We went on a Monday so the place was very empty, the decor is very nice. But upon close inspection most of it looks very old. Overall I would say that the place was good for a birthday or a special occasion, there were a lot of good spots for pictures.
I wanted to try this place for a long time, and on Mother’s Day, I told my boys that’s where you taking me))) It is absolutely beautiful restaurant, the interior design is very very pretty. Unfortunately they served only Mother’s Day special menu, and if you wanted anything else, than they won’t do any substitutions, but would make whatever you wanted on top of the special, that was a bummer;(((. For example if we didn’t want to have the salad from the special,, which was just a green salad ( just leaves) and wanted to swap it for a Greek salad, they told us that we can’t swap it, we will gat that Arugula salad anyway and would need to pay extra for a Greek salad. So that green salad was a joke - very little portion size. The appetizer - mezza, was not enough for 4 people for sure. And it took quite a long time for food to arrive. Our server seems to be in a rush all the time. So when the food came , our lamb chops were Rare, instead of Medium Rare . So we tried to get our waiter for that, waited a long long time, nobody couldn’t find him. After probably half an hour , We were lucky that the manager came and was super polite and listened to our concern and took the plates back to cook the chops better. It took a while, but when they brought them, they were just great. So if it wasn’t for manager , I would probably give that restaurant a 1 star. I also think it’s overpriced (( The manager definitely deserves 10 stars ⭐️
Came here for a huge birthday dinner, and yeah, CLF is goooorg, but I'm not sure there's much else going on. Birthday girl chose the spot because she wanted belly dancers to liven up the night, but we got one beautiful dancer who danced for about 2 min near us, then flitted away and that was that. I guess I shouldn't complain because the performance was free? If you count dolla bills in the brassiere free. Anyway, the very frazzled staff who clearly didn't enjoy that we were a party of 25 or so people made it clear that we had to order from the Large Group Three-Course Prix Fixe. Fine, sure. The Mezze (hummus, babaganoush, spicy feta) was tasty, but the Mediterranean Arugula Salad was missing arugula of any kind--unless arugula has been rebranded as cucumber and I missed the memo. Entree-wise, the Mixed Grill was okay, with the lamb being the best part. The Egyptian Baked Moussaka Terrein was huge, but tasted just okay. And the Tagine Khodar was easily the best dish of the night--ironic, considering it's the vegan option. Note for future birthday revelers that they charge a $10pp cutting fee for cakes. We weren't willing to pay that, so we ordered one very sad, not-so-good Kunefa for the birthday girl so we had something to give her after singing. I can't stress how bad the Kunefa was--this is my favorite dessert, and I've already Eternal Sunshine-ed CLF's version so I can have peace of mind. In short, good for the 'Gram, not so good for the tum.
The food and service were good. The lavish and colorful decoration was unique. However, our biggest complaint was the background music which was too loud to have any conversation. Also, the seats were like sofas, too soft and more suitable for a coffee shop. In order to get closer to the table and eat, we had to sit on the edge of our seats or keep bending forward.
Atmosphere is great, pleased my lady because someone felt that this place was a top romantic spot in NYC. Figured why not give it a try. Place is nice, the decor is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful. Definitely a date night spot. The food and the service ehhhhhh, not so good. We sat outside and felt forgotten, the waiter checked on us once, then we got a new waitress, so who knows what was going on. What was known is that the food, for the price was not that great. No flavor, very bland. The dessert we ordered was good though. So in the end not so worth the whiskey 🥃
The place is great for Instagram worthy pictures. Most dishes are $20+ and as you can see in the pictures the portions are close to small plates. Food was flavorful but definitely not worth the price tag. To top it off there’s a reservation fee per person. They try to squeeze tables into every nook and corner. There are better spots that serve better food and not a rip off.
Beautiful place, maybe a little too much drapery. Overly priced mediocre food at best, and that's being nice. The show that is supposedly included was heard, but unless our party of 7 physically got up, we were not able to see anything, so no belly dancing for us. The host stood beside our table the entire time til I started to question if it was us but then the bill for $1100 came and THEN it all made sense.
went here twice, one time in March 2025, second - in November 2025. First time I did not realize that service fee was already included, so left extra tip. Food was good, and it was friends birthday, so left it as is. Second time we go there, waiting over 30 min to place drinks order in. and it was a midweek, 3 tables other than ours was taken, yet service was super slow. After we paid, we realized that service was already included, so we asked for refund, which took over an hour. Would not be going back.
★☆☆☆☆ I don’t even know where to begin—maybe with the **influencer who hyped this place up and lured me in like a moth to a neon-lit trap**. I came for **belly dancing and Middle Eastern cuisine**—you know, a little dinner, a little show. **How bad could it be?** Famous last words. We arrived at **7:30**. Waited to be seated. Then waited some more. The “show” finally began around **8:25** and sputtered out after **15 underwhelming minutes**. They clearly thought this glittery distraction would **distract from the culinary trainwreck**—it didn’t. Let’s talk food. Or rather, **why is this food?** Portions? Child-sized. Meat? Passable. Rice? Bland, lifeless, tasted like sorrow. No sauce in sight—just a lonely blob of **tahini** that felt more like a dare than a condiment. And surprise! That uninspired scoop? $9 extra. Service? An abomination in several acts. We were forgotten more times than my houseplants. 30–40 minutes went by before anyone remembered we might want dessert. We ordered kunefe, which arrived in the form of two syrup-soaked sugar pucks masquerading as a dessert. **Oversweetened and undersized**, much like this restaurant’s ambitions. But wait—there’s more! As if the dining disaster wasn’t enough, **a “photographer” prowls the floor**, instructing guests how to pose, kiss, “manifest,” and perform like you’re auditioning for a dating show in the afterlife. Then, with all the grace of a car salesman at closing time, she tries to sell you each awkward photo for **\$30 a pop**. The reason they don’t bring the check? **They’re buying time for the photographer to pounce.** So, to sum it up: this place is not a restaurant. It’s a **performance art piece on how to ruin dinner**. You want Middle Eastern food and a good time? NYC is full of places that won’t rob your soul and wallet. Do yourself a favor: Run, don’t walk.
I am extremely disappointed! The moment my family and I arrived at the restaurant was a major letdown. I gave my name to the person handling reservations, the server was literally looking at his iPad, which had a complete map of seating arrangements. We were given the wrong table despite paying $152 for the "private room." We waited at the wrong table for 5 to 7 minutes while they figured out what went wrong with our reservation! I even had to show proof of our reservation—unbelievable! After we ordered, I found the prices to be overpriced for what we received. The portions were so small that they weren't worth the cost. I've had much better Egyptian food elsewhere. The lamb chop was so tough that I couldn't even bite into it! Can you believe we were charged for the sauce? And they also charge us $10 per person just to cut our custom cake. I felt robbed! To top it all off, the belly dancer didn't even come to our table to perform. Overall, I felt judged and could tell that staff were talking behind our backs. Never ever again!!!!!!! Only thing about this place was the atmosphere was beautiful. That's it!!!!!
Terrible experience. We got seated 45 mins after our reservation. Waiter no where to be found and rude, buser running all over the place, food tasted terrible and cold. The music was stupidly loud and not entertaining. Never going again and would never recommend this place to anyone.
Went to Casa La Femme for their New Year’s Eve special ($125 prix fixe with a glass of champagne). Our friends arrived early and we arrived within the grace period, yet after being seated we received no service for nearly an hour—there was clearly no assigned waiter. After asking for service, we were given water and eventually the first course (couscous), which was quite good. Unfortunately, we were then ignored again and did not receive our champagne until 12:20 a.m., well after midnight, completely ruining the New Year’s moment. When we complained, staff asked what they were “supposed to do” and blamed us for being late, despite us arriving within the grace period. They eventually brought the champagne and comped us a bottle, which was appreciated, but then forgot the unopened bottle at our table for quite some time. By then we were ready to leave, though our main courses eventually arrived and were also good. Once again, we were forgotten after the food was served and never received additional drinks. Because the service was so poor, we ultimately paid only for the prix fixe—the food was the sole redeeming aspect of the evening. Overall, despite being with great friends, this was an abysmal experience. Do not go here—choose a restaurant that values service over a superficial, influencer-driven atmosphere.
The worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We reserved a VIP private tent for 10:30 pm and arrived on time (10:25 pm). There was absolutely no one managing the entrance. A large crowd of people was just standing there waiting with zero information. When someone finally showed up, they asked for our name… four different times. No one seemed to know what was going on. We weren’t seated until 11:00 pm. To make it worse, the “VIP private tent” turned out to be shared with another couple. That’s not what was advertised. After waiting that long, we decided to stay, big mistake!. The service was a complete disaster. Servers were running around with no organization, practically throwing plates onto the table. We even witnessed a server spill food on a woman at the table in front of us because he was rushing. Completely unacceptable. Our server, Isabel, was rude and condescending. She messed up our order twice, and when we pointed it out, she rolled her eyes. She later came back and said, in a very dismissive tone, that it was her fault and that we wouldn’t be charged. Zero professionalism and a terrible attitude. The food arrived cold. Several tables around us were sending their dishes back for the same reason. The kitchen is clearly a mess and what’s worse, the staff openly admits it. When we said the experience was not what we expected, the response was: “The kitchen is chaos and there’s nothing we can do.” Excuse me? The “show” is pure false advertising. It looks nothing like what they promote on social media. We saw the dancer once, when she came to the table asking for money. Extremely disappointing. We didn’t leave until almost 2:00 am because of how slow and disorganized everything was. We honestly felt completely scammed. The only positives were the girl taking photos, the pita bread, the falafel, and the drinks. Everything else was an absolute disaster. I would not recommend this place and I will never return. They urgently need proper training and organization. What they sell online is not what they deliver in reality.
This place appeared on my search for Arabic dining with a belly dancer and for some reason came as highly rated and recommended . Even though I don’t like to write bad reviews but I will write this one because what the internet says and what the reality is are 2 different stories. Come prepared if you really want to choose this place . Come prepared to pay a large check for a little bit of food .. The portions are small, very small. The food is subpar and not authentic. You pay for tap water ( around 9 dollars) and you pay for coke / Pepsi refills ( the glass size to start with is small). You get one pita per person ( tiny) and you pay for extra pitas The main dish is far from Egyptian … not fine cuisine at all.. Maggy Mcfly level / culinary grade for a very very expensive fare. The seats are uncomfortable so if you have back pain, be aware .. take some ibuprofen with you. The dancer is sweet but the music is not great at all ( 4 songs / repetitive) and the show is super short. The worst is the photographer. She was not happy at all that we did not pay 30 dollars to purchase her photos ..She imposed herself on us.. This is a very commercial restaurant not to be revisited … Finally, they treated us to dessert.. we were 9 and got 3 desserts .. who eats what??? No thank you! We will not return.
