I come here every morning, and I love it. First, the staff is the kindest/nicest people you will ever meet - I consider them my friends. Second, it is a true 3rd space with people I get to say hi to and get updates on their lives each morning as they say hi to my dog. It feels like a European cafe as people sit there reading, working, chatting, etc all through the day. Third, they really know what they are doing with their coffee - truly never had a bad pour there. And their pastries are amazing too. Always recommend Charolette Cafe to anyone in the area! You won’t be disappointed!

Charlotte Cafe is my go-to spot for takeout runs as well as dine-in study/work sessions. The staff here are super friendly, and they always have my favorite orders memorized before I even open my mouth. There are also plenty of food options to accommodate a variety of dietary needs, including gluten free pastries, salads, protein snack packs, and savory as well as sweet snacks. Shoutout to Angel for the wonderful decaf latte today, and to Marla for heating up my gluten free pumpkin spice muffin today, and to Erdi, and the rest of the staff (wish I knew everyone’s names!)

Charlotte is my favorite cafe in the whole city. I’ve been coming here for years, have done my grad school work here, brought dates here, met friends and family members for morning coffees and pastries. Everyone agrees this place is the absolute best. The coffee is delicious, the food is amazing (they have a seasonal pumpkin spice cheesecake that’s to die for). Best of all the baristas are the kindest people— they remember the regulars’ orders. One time they had my coffee prepped before I walked in because my friend who I was meeting told them I was on my way. The owner Vinz let my friend and I take our grad photos here (pic added below!) If you’re looking for a third space on the UWS to work or read or chat or just hang with a hot drink, Charlotte is the place.

I went down to the Upper West Side on Thursday and was on the hunt for a cute coffee shop. I'd seen Charlotte Café on Google Maps, and noticed the good reviews. When I went in, immediately there was pleasant music playing and a general warmth. Tina was VERY cheery and personable as she prepped my drink. I ordered a hot medium mocha with a shot of hazelnut and a shot of lavender. It was absolutely DELICIOUS and I definitely plan on visiting again!

I can’t say enough good things about this cafe. The food and drinks are high quality, but the service is really what sets it apart. Angel and Erdi are legends — they handle everything flawlessly and even have managed to memorize everyone’s usual orders. It’s an impressive and personal touch. Great food, great coffee, better people.

I had a chocolate croissant and espresso shot. Great experience. Nice staff. The owner Vince was an incredibly nice guy. I lost my book at the cafe and he used the security cam footage to help me find it. I am also grateful for genuinely caring staff in a busy city.

I adore this cafe to bits and pieces. Angel remembered my order and Erdi made it taste the exact same, even when I came after almost a year. It's my favorite place to be when I need some coffee flavored daydreams. <3

They literally made a fresh hot pistachio crossaint for me and it was really sweet of them. Also, mocha latte was yummy. I will definitely visit this cafe again with my husband. It’s a must visit.

There’s plenty of places to grab a coffee in Midtown or Murray Hill but Charlotte Cafe is very much my go to spot and it’s primarily because of the high quality customer service. The coffee is good, and so are the treats, but it’s the customer service that keeps me coming back.

I’m someone who comes to this cafe all the time because of how much I love it. The employees are incredibly friendly to everyone and always ask how my day is going! I typically interact with Sasha and Albana the most, and most recently Marla. Everyone is caring and helpful. The cafe itself has the best cozy and warm atmosphere and they are laptop friendly if you’re looking to work or study. The coffee and croissants are also delicious!

The vibe here is so cozy warm and friendly, but it's not the best for settling in and getting work done due to their 90 min policy. The cafe is spacious and the drinks and pastries are delicious. I wanted to try the famous pistachio croissant but they were out at 2pm! So I got the pistachio muffin on my guy's rec. It's filled with pistachio butter. So delicious, pistachio lover's dream. Their hot chocolate is really rich and chocolatey too, not watery at all. As for service, the reviews about wanting to be the baristas' best friend are accurate, they are very kind and caring people. The guy who took my order thoughtfully toasted my muffin without me even asking!

I visited this cafe every day while I was in New York, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in the city! The cappuccino was perfectly made every single time, with a generous portion. One day I tried the croissant which was also amazing and fresh! The staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming, especially Albana, who made each visit feel warm. The atmosphere is cozy and the place is spacious, ideal for conversations or studying. There are plenty of outlets at every table, which is a huge plus if you're working on a laptop. They also have a great taste in music, which adds to the cozy vibes without being distracting. Highly recommend!!!

Love this place, the employees & the food. I had to call out Vince, who took our order. His presence and the way he and Sasha worked together stood out. He carried himself like a leader, and when I mentioned it, he pulled out his phone to show me a book he recommends to his staff: Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara. He even gives bonuses to employees who read it.(I am in business and get into this stuff). He said even when he was just an employee (it’s his place now), he acted this way. Go there when it’s not too busy so you can get some insights from Vince.

This cozy cafe houses a very nice selection of menu items. From bready goodness to hot and cold beverage delights, the aroma as soon as you walk in beckons you. The waitress named Albana was very lovely and helpful as I was trying to decide on what to order. Ultimately I had a slice of mixed berry cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake; both were incredible. The Rooibos tea added a nice warmth to make both go down with palatable joy ✨ I'm glad I got to experience this place and I even signed up for points! Reason enough to come back aside from wanting to try more delicious treats and teas 😋😊

Highly attentive service with an impressive level of hospitality. The iced vanilla chai latte was well above the average latte you'd get from most cafes, with a distinct focus on cardamom if I'm correct. I thoroughly enjoyed it, with the flavor remaining noticeable even as the ice diluted it. The atmosphere is unparalleled as well, with social areas as well as dim spots for study. I will be returning.

Lovely staff, great coffee and peaceful ambience. You can sit outside in nice weather or at a table inside right by the table for a nice view. Update: Stopped in today again and had the Mixed Berry start. So delicious. Light as air and not overly sweet. Perfect iced coffee and a lovely l, cozy spot to sit. A quick Google search led us to pop into Cafe Charlotte on our last morning of visiting NYC. We tried a couple of recommendations (from the friendliest owners) that ended up being some of the best coffee I’ve ever had (pistachio latte, dirty chai, espresso shot). The coffee was spot on in flavor, good quality, and was not overly sweet- *made to order, just like I like it.

Delicious lattes and lovely baristas ! My favorite neighborhood cafe ! They also have gluten-free vegan options, although I wish they had even more! They only complaint is that it's always so crowded and busy because it's so popular wish it was bigger!

Such a wonderful hidden gem!! I was staying at a friend's apartment a few blocks away, so we headed here for a quick pick-me-up each morning I was visiting. The cafe is super cozy and way more spacious than I would've expected for NYC. There's ample seating available and free WiFi, making it perfect for folks who work from home (but don't want to be at home). The staff is *super* friendly and warm, and it was so fun to chat with the barista after putting in our coffee and pastry orders. The food and drink are also delightful, with smooth, easy-to-drink lattes and tasty, flaky, buttery pastries.

I am so gross out and cannot believe I ate this. I stop by this morning at 95th location and grab my usual, ice latte and decided to try the lemon cake. It looks so moist and tempting. My first bite it tasted dry, and offer my friend a bite. That’s when I saw it when she was holding it up, the molds under the cake! This is so disgusting and unacceptable. I am hoping we do not experience any health issue consuming this disgusting pastry. This is a serious health issue. It saddens me the food looks perfect on the outside but cannot trust the set up. Do you check the pastries before serving them or throw away the expired ones?!
