I absolutely love this place. My regular bar for 11 years. So much fun, you can go by yourself and still feel like you’re with friends while meeting people from all over the world. Don’t miss out on it

Fantastic night out at this bar. Seen the film and didn't expect it to be like that. In fact it was so much better. The staff were Amazing, put in a great show and would certainly go again and again!

Complete Nostalgia! I actually walked right by the place a few nights ago and missed it. So glad i found it on google maps and was able to go back and snap photo prior to leaving NYC. Cant believe it was only a ten minute walk from my airbnb place. This teeny tiny bar really puts the movie in perspective. Kudos to all those who have a dream and go for it!

This is my official 2nd home away from home. The coyotes are beautiful, and fun. The atmosphere is either really chill, and lax, or upbeat and fun. Always a good time. Hope to see you here soon!

I remember hearing about the movie and wasn’t aware that there was a real bar on 14th street. The level of service I received from the front door personnel/Security to everyone else was impeccable. I have to start with Awna. Her vibe is from a different planet and she serves up great drinks. Her level of service is top notch in my book. But then she pulled out a microphone and started walking and dancing on the bar. She pulled no punches on the mic when it turned into a comedy show, good times. I also met Paula who is very kind and knows how to control the commotion. After my first visit I couldn’t resist and came a second time. This is where I met Amber who poured great drinks and wasn’t afraid to get on the bar and turn it up. If you are looking for a great time, funny commentary from the bartenders, good drinks this is the go to place on 14th street.

Really cool environment! If you are looking for a unique vibe, this is the place! Girls are allowed to get up on the bar and dance, and crazy body shots are done for the guy! Beware of the body shots though cause I saw a bartender cut a guy's boxer waistband and tie his hands together with it😭 drinks are a little pricey, but it's in lower Manhattan so every bar has pricey drinks! Overall a good vibe with good music!

It's great to find a place to go at night and actually have fun. There's not much fun left when you go out but this place has it down. A place to go where anyone and everyone can let loose and have a great time. All staff and bartenders make you feel at home and portray a great fun atmosphere. Especially Emily as well as the rest of the girls behind the bar. These girls work hard to keep everyone entertained. Loved it

Well, just like the movie, this place definitely did not disappoint. Walked in here with some friends, randomly, and it was by far the best part of our night. The staff is entertaining and engaging and the drinks and customers are incredibly nice. I would highly recommend stopping by this place If you're looking to let loose and get a little crazy.

So fun!!! My cousin and I watched this movie growing up and so we fulfilled our wild selves and danced on the bar!!! The music was awesome. I've always wanted to dance to rob zombie at a bar.. we had a great time. The bouncer Kevin is super freaking awesome as well. Very much recommended!!

Had the best night. Went on a Sunday for my birthday (as am a massive fan of the film) and even though it was pretty quiet, the bar tender got me up and dancing with her and made me feel wonderful. I think her name was Meesha, and she was the best host of a wonderful evening. The place was everything I expected from the movie. Dirty, fun and wet. Will definitely be back next time I am in New York on a Sunday again. Was lovely to chat to the staff and locals there.

This is one of the best bars in NYC. One thing I love about Coyote Ugly is how fun and energetic the bartenders are. They make you feel like you are welcomed here, which is what I think a lot of bars lack. Coyote Ugly has a lot of positive vibes. Would definitely recommend and definitely plan to visit again.

Went here with my friends - had a good time. Although all the hijinx that made the place famous is gone, it's still a good ol' East Village bar. It's got the same clientele. It's huge. Lots of booths to drink with your group and seating around the columns as well as a 30 ft long bar. Even though the scantily clad bartenders that dance on the bar are gone, the location of this bar keeps it a fun place to drink.

We just went yesterday for a friend's birthday. We went on a Sunday morning. The bar wasn't packed but we enjoyed it that way. We pretty much had the full attention of the coyote and she was an absolute blast. She was beautiful and definitely made the experience fun. From body shots to getting water tossed on our friend! My bra is now forever hanging at one of the funiest bars I've been in.

They got some fun games, Jukebox and karaoke…you would want to show up on the weekends if you like a crowded place…but Monday to Wednesday’s are much less crowded. Bartenders are friendly…they dance on the counter and sing.

Love this bar very good drinks entertainment music be in a good rotation to dance.

Went here last night and honestly had such a memorable experience. The staff were so kind and made my friend and I feel so safe, drinks were so good and I’m not a big fan of the taste of alcohol I got a skittles shot and a Long Island iced tea, Both 10/10. We were able to dance on the bar with one of staff and was a great place to mingle! Such a memorable experience and will definitely be back!!!<3

My friends and I really didn't plan on coming here. We just sort of decided to stop in at the last minute. Anyway, it was really cool! The vibe was really energetic and the crowd was cool. A lot of the people were on the young side but they were mature and friendly everybody had a good time. We even made a few new friends. It was A LOT like the movie with the girls dancing and letting loose on the bar. The staff was very friendly, from the security to the bartenders. They made you feel welcome and they were very down to earth. The decor kind of reminded me of an 80s theme. The bras that were hanging all over the place gave it really unique, raunchy feel. If you're looking for a good time, you should definitely give it a try. We went on a Saturday and they closed at around 4 a.m The next time we are partying in the city we will definitely make it a point to stop by again.

Visited with my best friend as our favourite movie. Was a little disappointed that it wasn't bigger (compared to Vegas) but not a huge problem unless you want to sit down I guess. Reasonable price drinks. Good atmosphere. Remember to take your id as you'll be asked on entry. Bar staff were super friendly and try entice people to dance on the bar with them. Overall a fun experience.

The noise is so loud I can't hear myself order. The lighting is dingy at best and the bathrooms look like the sort you find in a dilapidated Midwest gas station. You have to pay for the water. This is the greatest bar I’ve ever been to in my life. Beyond these unassuming and sacred doors, toiling in under-appreciated obscurity, are the Coyotes. Unlike their male coworkers who are dressed like stagehands at a community theatre, these women look like fallen angels who landed in Arizona by way of Miami Beach. They have coordinated bar-top dances, and like master artists, expertly blend bartending with shameless flirtation. I am in love with every one of them. My only complaint is I didn’t discover this place sooner. I mourn the wasted time I spent drinking house cocktails in upscale speakeasies and creamy pints in Irish pubs when for the shockingly low price of $20 cash, I could have been looking up at a blonde goddess spit a shot of vodka in my mouth. I don’t know what diseases have already begun to wreck gleeful havoc within my system, nor do I care. For I now know why I get up in the morning. Why I labor and toil. I can face the unimaginable sufferings of a cold and heartless universe, for I have seen the face of god. Epiphany. I hear the angels singing. Take me home, country roads.

Friendly staff and good service. But this place doesn't serve food and doesn't have a huge amount of space inside. Come here for cheap drinks with friends while flirting with the bartenders. BOGO drink specials run from 4-7 on some days.

At the time of going it was an Ok experience, I would've been better if I was able to get thru to the bar but it was a Nice to go to the Iconic Bar of Fun times.

A true "Hole in the Wall" bar, and I mean that in a good way. The only place I have been that actually had women danceing on the bar pretty continuously. Music was varied, bar staff and bouncers had great attitudes. **Pro tip: try the body shot, well worth it!**

Such a fun "dive" bar. Sometimes ya just want to hang your bra on the wall and dance on the counter tops! This is the place to be when that's what your feeling! It's in a great location for bar hopping and live music.

Still my favorite bar in NYC. Usually there on Friday or Saturday. The new spot is not dirty like the old spot but you can still get $3 PBR and girls dancing on the bar (always encouraged). Oh. They serve food now, too

The bartender seemed friendly and the place was a regular bar where a woman/women happen to dance on the bar on occasion. It was a smaller place than I expected but then again I'm sure they are tired of being compared to that movie.

Did stop by on a Monday night so mostly just regulars. Drinks was good and easy to get hold of bartender to order drinks. I do have plans to go back.

So you want to have a good time, engage with beautiful women and listen to some cool tunz. Cant go wrong here. However, dont be fooled by the allure of a body shot...they are not really body shots, more like inconspicuous hand shots. The bar top dancing is fun, lightens the mood and galvanizes the crowd. Without a doubt a great place to be with friends or alone.

Well it definitely lived up to the expectation. People were singing and dancing on the bar. They definitely incorporate the crowd, and will allow you to get up and dance. 4 stars because it's not the BEST bar, but it didn't have a giant crowd and it was a pleasant surprise. Would come back

I got a hard cider with some friends on a Tuesday night as it was his birthday. It was late, so by coming in we doubled the number of people in the bar. The bartender put on a show for us which was kinda fun but it didn't feel as exciting as it could've been if the bar was busier.

Good place, overall have good vibes. One thing I didn’t like, the bartender came to me and asked me to buy a shot for me and her. Buying her a shot… fine I’m in a good mood so why not. But, cannot fool me that shot she did was pure water. So basically payed twice for one shot So be aware of that. Gave extra star for the punching machine in the back.

$3 PBR's (my friend and I ordered 10 at once), reasonably priced mixed drinks, old school rock and roll, some pop and top 40's, but not a bad place to start a night - if you didnt have plans beforehand, you will afterwards. One hell of a place to make some memories that you'll never want to remember. Dont wear a belt.

Pretty energetic feel to the place for how small it is. Have to admit to being pretty underwhelmed though, both evenings I went it was dead and the staff looked bored out of their minds. Think I just got unlucky.

All hype. This place focuses more on overpriced drinks than the patrons good time. They charge about $10 a shot and almost double for drinks. The bartenders are cute but for the most part the place is a sausage fest. You’re better off in a dozen places near by. Oh and they charge for water.

The walls of this establishment are festooned in bras, lost and found, of every shape, size and color imaginable. Perplexed as to the theme the owners were going for, I asked an American friend for help. ‘Oh, I don’t know, this bar is giving me Southern,’ she said, ‘like… ALABAMA!’ It appears, therefore, that ladies from the South must be very good at losing their bras. Or, at the least, taking them off in bars. I wonder what the old men of Jerusalem who got together to write a book some 2,000 years ago would have to say about that.

If girls can dance on the bars why can't guys? I'm pretty sure there will be a lot more customers because there will be more of a variety. There's no other bar that would allow this, so coyote ugly would me very unique.

Dirty bar with rude staff. Bouncer at the front was feisty and on a power trip. Not letting those in line in and randomly let people in front of us that weren’t in line for over an hour. Favoritism. Not somewhere I want to go. Really bad impression here. Not going to come back.

The vibes here are WEIRD. It's the sort of place tourists and conservatives would go to if they wanted to feel edgy. Feels like a Disneyfied strip club. They don't offer glasses of water at the bar, only overpriced bottles of water to buy. I feel like that's breaking a rule or something

Visited this bar on a Thursday night. After watching the movie and having a good experience in a coyotes bar in other places e.g. Prague had quite some expectations. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the performance and the vibe here. It seems to be an overpriced tourist trap.

A total disappointment. Me and my wife tried to attend Coyote Ugly today, we were anxious to get to know the place ... a shame we were treated so poorly by the security at the entrance, which was totally rude and uneducated. I do not know if the security man realized that we were foreigners by our accent, but the fact is that he was not at all polite and had no patience to talk to us, he was totally rude and would not let us finish a single sentence without answer us harshly. It was even worse when he realized we had a backpack (which was not allowed), and we replied annoyed that we could not get in with the backpack, he could only have politely responded that we should keep our backpack in our hotel room. Everyone has bad days but we believe that clients should not be harmed by an employee who is badly instructed to perform his job. "Hello," "Good evening," "Thank you," are very basic words that anyone with the least education can use. Unfortunately that's not what we saw in Coyote Ugly. It’s a pity.

I don't mind going to bars where the drinks are expensive. But I do mind it when they measure your drink in a shot glass...like this place does. Additionally, there's way too much dancing on top of the bar.

I came here on Friday with my girls. And there was this girl that works there that looks like Alex Consani that scammed us for two shots, ate somebody wings, and took someone card.

i used to like this place but unfortunately the bouncer is very ableist. my friend had a traumatic injury and wouldn’t let him in because he was “stumbling”. my friend is still recovering. it’s very discriminating and embarrassing that they have a bouncer like that and they lost all our service.

Excessively violent bouncer. After being over served and encouraged to dance on the bar, the bouncer first talked down to us for doing so and then physically removed my girl friend from the building. He could have just asked us to leave. My friend got scrappy, she shouldn’t have but she was drunk and pissed about being treated that way. He punched her off her feet and into the trash on the street. I got a bloody lip in the process of trying to stop it. How are you gonna get Girls drunk, talk down to them for being so, kick them out of the bathroom and then have a 300 pound bouncer punch them in the face? My friend weighs 130 tops. He could have just put a hold on her. Make sure your bouncers are competent and aren’t going to take their day out on customers you’ve over served. Horrible management.

I have never had a worse experience at a bar. I wen't with a group of 2 guys and 4 girls, there was this creepy old man who was coming up and touching the girls, which the bouncers did nothing about. We told the guy to leave the girls alone, he didn't. The bouncers still did nothing about it. It got to the point where we went to leave, the old man spat on one of the girls we were with, then the bouncer decided to tackle the girls out of the bar. This left one girl in particular with a multitude of bruises the next day. Incredibly poor experience.

Horrible bartender. When you're more excited to see locals and your friends than actual tourist that could give you money. Bartender was drinking Pedialyte and laying head on bar... For how much hype and movie name, it was such a disappointment.

You might want to check the exact transaction after you've paid as I've just realised when I arrived home that they took more $ than supposed from the card which was definitely not authorized. This behaviour is completely illegal, very bad! On top of that the place is not worthy.

Tbh I enjoy it, however they will steal from you by charging you 3times the price!!! It not worth the place to come too, just to see a girl to dance for money!!! I rather go to a gentleman club, instead of wasting morning this bar period!!!!!!!

This bar is NOT anything like Coyote Ugly. It is not in the same location AND I had the Bouncer of the bar pay for my drinks, flirt with me and pay for a Leanne Rymes Song to dance to ON STAGE then kicked me off the stage after I waited an hour WITHOUT AN ALCHOLIC BEVERAGE JUST SO I CAN GET ON THE BAR then get removed from the bar after I "almost fell" with their cowboy hat on and then got told to leave. After waiting an hour to be on the stage when it says " dance on bar at own risk"

I have been to the Atlanta (closed down) location and Vegas location and WOW what an experience. I come to NY and don't even know where I am. What a waste of time, travel, money, and expectations. One drink and gone !!! Empty and NOT a variety of women.

They advertise dancing on the bar, but when you try they demand you come down. It was so empty too, what is your business model… I’d try ohanlons or beauty bar, both nearby and better service

Like I get joking around but spraying someone with water when it’s 30 degrees outside is totally bogus. Will never be back.

Went to coyote ugly tonight. There was one bartender who refused to help me and my friends. She refused to close out our tab and instead helped others who were not waiting like I was. When the other bartender helped me, the rude bartender told me I should’ve been patient. I was waiting for 15 mins, she was not helping anyone at the time. Bar was not crowded. Ok bro. I saw her drinking out of her cup which I can only imagine was alcohol. Two of the bar tenders were awesome I wish I could shout them out. The plain face girl tho was nasty would not return.

Very rude staff. I kept asking to close my tab and retrieve my card but despite repeating myself several times, 2 different bartenders caught major attitude for some reason? All I said was “I’m closing my tab here is another card with my name since it’s loud.” Not sure why it’s an issue.

Really tacky decorations , smells unhygienic and unhygienic indeed and unprofessional staff. Bar tender was pressurizing women to get up on the bar and a bouncer was carrying them and almost throwing them on the bar. I would highly recommend not going there. There are tons of other places within 2 minutes walk.
