My favorite place in the city to get rose milk tea! The floral notes of the rose came out well, along with a strong tea flavor. Liked it so much I went twice in the same week. Would recommend 50% sugar (default). If you bring a student id you can get 5% off your order.

The tea here is really, really good. You can taste the tea flavor (like they actually brew tea as opposed to using powders). If you order a matcha they whisk it fresh on the spot. The boba are sweet and not hard or mushy. You can customize the ice and sugar levels. This is now my favorite tea spot in the city. Incidentally it's owned by the same people as Bar Pa Tea!

Loved the smell of tapioca after entering that shop. Bubble teas are great- they have different flavours, bubbles, jellies. The staff is nice. The interior is kind of "cute" and interesting. Ask for less ice or no ice, or they will fill half of the cup with ice. And also ask for their card to fill in stamps every time you buy something. After collecting 9 stamps , you get a free drink.

Lovely bubble tea place nested amongst other bubble tea shops. They have sizes 16oz, 24oz and 26oz (which comes in the cutest chubby cup!). The staff is friendly and the store quaint, but very small, so definitely more of a takeout place. Also there are cute little post its covering the walls, so you can add your bubble tea inspired art to the collection.

Sufficient bubble tea that will cost you an arm and a leg for vs it’s worth. But that feels like a systemic market issue rather than this place. Too sweet

MooMooChaa is charming. A small space with limited seating, but filled with decorations and calm music. There is a board filled with post-it notes filled with art. It is a nice, relaxing place to enjoy some tea. I got the brown sugar oolong milk tea. Beautiful presentation for a plastic container. They were out of large bubbles so I got small bubbles. The taste of the milk tea was fine, what one expects from a milk tea. However, it seemed a bit lacking - perhaps for its price which is a bit higher than other places for I have been for the same size.

This is a cute place. It's got post-its grin customers before covid with what they like and artwork. I got taro bubbles tea with less sugar... it was still sweet, but lowes sweet then regular for sure. I do like the options of amount of sugar, ice, size of bubbles. They even have brown sugar. Only thing was at the bottom of drink, there was powder left. Maybe didn't get mixed well? Otherwise it was good.

Cute place, great bubble tea, vegan options available (see below)! Recommended! It's a cute little place, with very attentive employees and reaaaally good bubble tea! You can choose the amount of sugar and ice (see pictures) 🎉 Prices are reasonable. Some people have suggested to share the large (26 oz) option between 2 people.... if you like Bubble Tea, just get 2×24oz instead. The 26oz option is large for one person, but not really enough for 2 people in my opinion ;) Note: They have plant-based milk options for the Tea Lattes, but NOT for the Milk Teas. After asking, one employee told me the milk teas are non-dairy, but afterwards specified that he called it non-dairy because they use milk powder instead of liquid milk (so these are not vegan).

MooMooCha (it was PA Tea before) is 5mins walk from union sq station. It’s a small tea shop with a bar table and 2 tall stools inside. The menu is consisted of milk tea, fruit tea, latte and options of toppings. I ordered assam tea with large boba no ice and no sugar. The staff blended the ice with the tea to make it cold but no ice. Unfortunately I didn’t like the blended tea. It made the tea tastes differently. I couldn’t really taste the Assam tea.

I got the recommended brown sugar oolong but it was a little weak. The mini boba don't have much texture, but the large boba were good. I asked for no ice and it said no ice on the side but there was ice! Free upgrade to a stubby cup was good & staff were friendly so I'll give it another try. But it's hard to beat horchata & milk tea at boba guys!

The drinks were nothing special. The bobba was sweet, not particularly delicious at all, I just ended up feeling uncomfortably full. There are definitely better bobba places in the city, so I don’t recommend this one. The seating is also uncomfortable since it’s just a bar with stools facing the wall.

I ordered Boba Matcha. The guy at the counter was nice but the drink was sadly awful, too much matcha and it was very grainy.

I ordered the Rose Tea Latte on oat milk, my husband ordered the Matcha Green Tea on oat milk. Worst boba I've ever had. Mine was watery and weirdly strong, even bitter. His was grainy and this dark seaweed green color. Really really terrible.
