Came for the happy hour, 4-6pm every day, enjoyed their $1 oysters with a glass of Vermentino. Divine. Perfect spot for a date night or a chill evening with friends and family! Plenty of outside seating options!

I had my sisters bridal shower here and had the most amazing time. The owner Elis is truly amazing and cares so much about his customers. The bartender Chris outdid himself in every aspect. Would recommend to anyone and everyone trying to plan an event or simply just have a delicious meal!! 10000/5 stars all around.

The drinks were fantastic — strong, well-balanced, and beautifully presented.As for the food, every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The menu had a great variety of options, from small plates to full entrées. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun night out with great food and drinks!

Wow! What a discovery! Beyond our expectations! Please try the Branzino Filet which will blow your mind! If you want to continue getting surprised, try the amazing lamb chops, sako tuna tartar, the angus steak and don’t stop there, so many more we got to try by doing a degustation group menu which finished with a surprising sweet touch! Amazing food...the best squid, cooked to perfection. The panacotta....I can't event. The flavour is incredible. The servers were amazing and super sweet. The wine...Souve, great dry white wine, went down a treat. Cannot wait to come back here again.

It is chic, warm and inviting. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. My favorite item on the menu is the cacio e Pepe, and the portions are perfect! I like the Radeberger on draft. The owner (Elis) is charming, kind and a professional. He’s created a space that is truly a part of the community. This is definitely me and my partners favorite date spot! Once or twice a month they even have live flamenco musicians!

A friend of mine took me here as it was close to his home. I was not expecting much but wow - the owner was ever present and VERY hospitable and just brilliant. The food and the wine was AMAZING! My friend had the lamb chops which he has on every visit here and I ahd the steak which was perfectly cooked - next visit to New York I will definitely go again!!!

The kind of atmosphere one would imagine in a Nyc wine bar, restaurant. Has a classic euro touch feel. Attracts an eclectic patronage. Drinks and food are top notch. Keep in mind at a cost. A tad bit high for the quality, but you do get quality in return. A perfect place for a get to know me convo, or catch up with a few friends. Quiet, laid back vibe. The owner and bartenders are very attentive and friendly. So service is a highlight. Interestingly, they project old Charlie Chaplin movies on screen by the bar area. Enjoy watching from time to time. There aren't a lot of choices for spots like this on the UWS region. The ones that are around tend to force a brisk walk. So if nearby, its worth dropping by. If you live close then definitely stop by.

Dinner experience was exceptional. The service was laid back. It's not intense, but yet. Got you what you wanted when you wanted it. Special appetizers were fantastic. However, I had the lamb sliders and it just wasn't on the mark. Not bad, but not over the top fantastic

We visited Elis Wine Bar & Restaurant during happy hour and, unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The oysters were not well-prepared. The calamari and truffle fries were average, and both the pasta and chicken were just okay — I’d rate them a 5/10. However, the desserts were a highlight — moist, flavorful, and clearly the best part of the meal. I’m hoping that the non-happy hour offerings are more impressive, so I might consider giving them another try. Fingers crossed for a better experience next time.

Our experience here was so-so. It has a lot of charm and the service was overall just fine, but sadly the food left a bit to be desired. Fries with my burger were soggy, and my date’s Bolognese was one of the most bland dishes I think I have ever been served in NYC. The drinks were just okay too, nothing to write home about. The appetizers were good. Beet salad and a side of brussel sprouts. Maybe we came at an off time, we probably won’t come back but you never know. Also one note, these prices are curiously high! There was a glass of wine on the menu that was $22, and we googled the wine and it was $37 a bottle? We eat out enough to know if you’re charging $22 a glass that better be a $60-$70 bottle retail! C’mon you’re only supposed to rip us off a little bit when it comes to drink prices 😉
