Opinions de Getting Hungry New York
So far I have had the pleasure of eating at the food court 3x since I started working in the area. Unfortunately I didnt take pics the 1st time I went. The food is absolutely delicious and I plan on trying out every option. If you are in the area. Definitely check it out.
5-Star Experience at The Hungry Pearl! I loved every minute of my visit to The Hungry Pearl in the Financial District. The concept of twelve chefs and vendors under one roof is brilliant—everyone in our group found something they’ll rave about. The Lobster Shack was hands-down indulgent perfection (think lobster rolls and cocktails, divine!). Oh & I couldn’t forget how on point the spring rolls were at Kati Thai Noodle & Rice. They had the perfect crispy paired well with a sweet chili sauce. Chefs kiss*. The atmosphere was vibrant and casual, perfect for a lunch break or a fun dinner with friends. Highly recommend for foodies seeking variety in one place!
I had such a great experience at The Hungry Pearl! I got here around 5 so it wasn’t that crowded. I tried the lobster roll and it was sooo good fresh, flavorful, and packed with lobster. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and paired so well with the sweet chili sauce. The empanadas were also delicious and full of flavor. I topped it all off with a margarita, which was strong but sooo good just the way I like it! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food, drinks, and flavor in every bite. The music was totally on point, setting the perfect vibe and keeping the energy just right all afternoon. Most definitely will be back!!
Great options. Extrasauce was really good. Burger was really good . Great customer service
Had Extrasauce . But there are many options. The smash burger was really good . Customer service was great !
The Hungry Pearl offers a great selection of different styles of food for people who are looking for something fast casual

super chill vibes and the service is great, workers are so sweet!! 100% would recommend
My afternoon walk led me to this cozy small place. The team balanced hospitality with helpful information. This place stands out because of who works here. Fantastic food and service, with zero complaints! This place exceeds similar restaurants.
The Hungry Pearl is the perfect place for anything from a light snack and coffee to a delicious platter. Would definitely stop by! recommend anytime. Great ambiance!
I had an amazing time at The Hungry Pearl! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food—absolutely phenomenal. The fusion of cuisines is what makes this place really stand out. Every dish felt like a carefully crafted blend of global flavors. I especially loved the lobster roll—so fresh and flavorful! The spring rolls were perfectly crisp, the shrimp pad Thai was rich and satisfying, and the hamburger sliders brought a fun, unexpected twist to the menu. It’s rare to find a place that pulls off fusion this well, but The Hungry Pearl does it effortlessly. Highly recommend, and I can’t wait to go back!
Everything you could want to eat the food is great we tried Little Biggs, Extra sauce, Chevere and Seamores lobster shake. Next time I will be trying Kati Thai noodle or Pita yerro Great staff and amazing music to set the vibe. A great place I recommend a MUST GO!!!!!
The restaurant created a perfect setting for good food. Every worker demonstrates notable proficiency. The cooking satisfies while the atmosphere impresses greatly. I enjoyed every bite at The Hungry Pearl. This place serves amazing food!
Extra Sauce @ Pearl’s food and service have been consistently exceptional since they’ve opened. Highly recommend
I love the atmosphere here , the music is always good and they make sure that everything stays clean , shoutout for the management team for the amazing work!
The seating area is open to the public so you don’t have to buy food to sit there (I didn’t know this when I first went). I like it for reading and just taking a break in a climate controlled space though most people do buy food and eat there. The staff who maintain the food court are really nice and they keep the place clean! There are a lot of food stall options (vegan, hamburgers, Asian, Mexican, smoothies, pizza, etc) and they’re reasonably priced but still outside my budget so I have purchased food like 3 times there over 18 months

Would totally recommend coming here with friends! Personally, I love to go to Kati. Their food always comes quickly and is always well-made.

A great variety of food with a spacious dining area. The drinks were priced well and strong, as a pescatarian there were an efficient amount of options for me to eat

Great place to grab different varieties of food! Would definitely come back here
Food are good but the music is a little too loud. Should have happy hour after 5pm for food too so those food store can generate business before closing time.

First time going. Food was awesome. Went to use bathroom in basement. Not bad. Coming up needed help opening the door and was embarrassed that I couldn’t figure it out. An employee helped me open it and I quickly said “0h okay, thanks”. He makes a point to then say “you are supposed to say thank you!”. I said I did, he has to counter with “I didn’t hear it”. Not my fault he can’t hear. Really petty, thus the three stars. Would have given five stars for the food and counter service employees and other employee who answered my questions when I first walked in.

this is for El Chevere only. I got the arroz con gondules with chicharrón de pollo and habichuelas guisadas. HORRIBLE. the rice was hard and dry. the chicken pieces were small, but a lot, so it was ok. overall everything was so BLAND but loaded with salt. it was truly so bad I threw it away.

This is only for El Chevere. This is probably the worst arroz con gandules and tostones I have ever had. I didn't get meat because I opted to try the sides first. I didnt watch them plate it and opened when I got back to my desk. Thank goodness I went with my gut. This is a no. I would try the other food options. They had Korean, Brazilian, Thai, etc. Many places to sit
