This hot spot is no secret for Long Island locals, the place was packed. We did get a table quickly. The menu offered something for everyone including vegetarians. Family friendly, great staff and oversized portions.
Beautiful location with simple and soothing decor. Great place for after work gatherings. Seating is endless. Our waitress Kelly was beyond amazing. Pleasant, cheerful and engaging. Our appetizers were great. Portions are a little small for the price, but tasty. We had the grilled octopus, cauliflower and chips and dip. Beet salad was a nice size and very tasty. Ahi burger was good. Dirty fries were my favorite part of the meal! (Bathroom was extremely clean, ventilated and beautifully done).
Great find! Visiting for the weekend and Google maps luckily found me this delightful spot. Was I looking to spend $100 on a spontaneous lunch with my 11yo? No, but I'd do it again tomorrow. The menu had so many things I wanted to try. Brunch, lunch, cocktails! Sitting outside was breezy and felt private even though you're literally on the main drag. Restaurant tries hard to give upscale vibe in an otherwise crowded average area. The Lyon burger was completely unique and delicious. Kid friendly with young palate options (not hid away like some places too which I appreciate, sets a great tone, we can be fancy and love your not as fancy kids too). Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. Definitely coming back next time we're in town.
I ordered delivery for dinner tonight. Unfortunately the Doordash driver dropped off the wrong order and left. Both, another hungry customer and me, were left without dinner. I hope whoever received my dinner enjoyed it. Fortunately Hilltop Restaurant was gracious enough to prepare the same order for me again despite this not being their fault. I went and picked it up, of course. Not trusting Doordash with my dinner again.
Amazing restaurant ! The owners and the bartenders are amazing and the food is great. We feel at home when we come here. The Bartender Justin, John , Jake are amazing. He owner Cindy, George, Christine, Vic and Nick are amazing. We get treated like we’re at home. The food is amazing and they make anything you want if you want a variation of anything. We love this place.

Being gluten free is really hard to find a restaurant that understands cross contamination. Their employees not only understands cross contamination but if they do not know they will go speak to the chef to confirm. They have a nice variety of GF options and appetizers to choose from. I got the skirt steak with potatoes and asparagus which was out of this world. My girlfriend got the sea bass, also gf. For dessert, we really didnt have much room left but got the Crème brûlée. Out of this world. We will definitely be going back for sure.
We had the Dirty Tuna, Dirty Salmon and Hoisin Chicken Bowl. All the food was really good. While the waiter appeared to be trying hard. He never came back to our table to ask how everything was. July 27, We went back to Hilltop today. The lobster roll was excellent, and my wife really enjoyed the Hoisin Chicken Bowl. Our waitress Erin was terrific. Can't wait to go back
This is a beautiful restaurant whenever I need a nice place to have lunch or dinner with my friends in my town. Every dish was good except one dish, 'Dirty Rigatoni'. I have to say it was a little too bland, it needs more flavor. Other than that, everything was perfect including coffee and service!
Great atmosphere. Not loud. It was Very busy in a good way. Lots of birthday today including my daughters. We had chicken wing, nacho and cheese, fried calamari and fried cauliflower. I ordered the short rib rigatoni, the meat was so so tender and very tasty. The service was great it seem like many servers for one table. Great service. Looking forward to going back. Nice fireplace, nice ambiance.
A family-style restaurant and bar with a little bit for everyone whether you are on a date night, a business dinner, or a family meal. The service is very attentive even though it gets really busy and the portion sizes are huge. The food is amazing and flavorful well-presented dishes with an Italian flair. The atmosphere is modern and lots of conversations all around but the tables are well distanced to carry on your talk. The bar is well stocked serving delicious well-balanced cocktails and a decent wine list. It has quickly become a place for the wife and me to sneak in a quick date in between the chaos of work and kids.
We went to Hilltop for their happy hour and it was one of the best in Long Island. The drinks were tasty and not too strong but the best part was the food. We ordered the fries, Caesar salad and sliders. The portions were very large and everything was tasty and fresh. The overall ambiance was very nice and the service was helpful with their suggestions and quick.
Good brunch with huge portions, nice place, and tons of options, great spot to try! - fried pickles were very good, huge serving. -Mac and cheese burger was HUGE, very filling. Cooked correctly (rare). Mac and cheese part was good, not super flavorful. - Asian chicken salad was very good, my wife really enjoyed. - bacon washed old fashioned was good, not as flavorful of fat washed bourbon as I’ve had elsewhere. But good drink overall. - not pictured, French toast dunkers which made an excellent dessert at home with great dipping options. The size of the portions really make it worth it, definitely worth checking out. There were tons of options on the menu including some really unique items. I plan to return to try more.
This is a nice looking restaurant right off of Jericho Turnpike. Clean facilities. Nice staff. Especially our server Julaine. Brunch menu on Sunday. Daily specials as well. Food is American Fare, seafood, and Mexican mix. Decent sized portions. My omelette was a little bit dry. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
Long wait but were able to call ahead and make a reservation bc we were a party of 6+. Food was great, one of the burgers someone in my party had was uneatable as it was way too salty (another Berger at the table was perfect). Short rib Wellington was AMAZING! All the apps we had were delicious! Great service with very friendly staff we had Meg And Bridget who were both the great. Atmosphere was a little loud but there were many large groups in there, us included!
I’ve tasted about 6 dishes: Steak sandwich = 5 out of 5 Banana French toast = 3.9 out of 5 (it came drenched and soggy with maple syrup, ask for it on the side) Sliders = 3 out 5 (mediocre) Wings = 3.5 out of 5 (mediocre) Skirt steak = 4.3 out of 5 Short rib mushroom rigatoni = 1.5 out of 5 (Bland, sauce doesn’t adhere to the pasta at all)
Atmosphere was nice. Not too loud. Service was mixed. Waiter was inattentive. Bussers and runners were great. Food was hit and miss. The Brussels sprouts lacked any flavor without the honey glaze. The buttered pasta didn’t appear to have been buttered. The lemon chicken came out partially raw and was sent back. Replacement lemon chicken dish was brought out and the spaghetti squash was delicious. The chicken was under seasoned but well cooked. The sea bass was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were well made and very good.
How I wish I could give a better review, since the people there are nice, however the food is seriously of the lowest quality and the prices are obnoxious. The hamburger meat is tough and low grade. Like you are eating ground bone. The nacho chips and cheese are of the cheapest quality. Salads brown and cheap lettuce. The staff, while fake nice, constantly interrupts your meal with no thought or intuition of when to clear plates and in fact insist on doing what and when they want. They often forget things you ask for as well and do not communicate well in English.The meals come out at different times and no curtesy to ask if we would like to have them all at once or when they are all ready. So members of party are waiting awkwardly for their food. Between the high prices, low quality food and lack of any sort of training for wait staff or bust people, you are not really getting your money's worth. Atmosphere is the only saving grace since it is new in there, but if not kept up, there will be nothing to return for. Good luck Hilltop.
Pretty good experience. The waitress we had was fantastic, she was very attentive and made the overall dining experience enjoyable. The food was creative and they have a pretty diverse menu, but they missed some of the basics. On my Greek platter, the chicken and shrimp were well cooked, but the lamb was dry and mealy. The rice was ok but tasted a lot like Goya adobo seasoning. My wife ordered a lobster roll which was just inedible. The lobster was overcooked and rubbery and just really disappointing. We also tried the flatbread pizza. This was less of a flatbread and really just a pepperoni pizza. Finally, we had the jelly donut dessert and this was probably the highlight of the meal. The donut was fluffy and delicious and comes with a good amount of ice cream on top. Overall, they have room for improvement and could probably benefit by purchasing better quality ingredients.
