If it wasn’t for Eddie I wouldn’t have that the experience I had. Eddie went the extra mile to make sure I had a good dining experience. When my food came out wrong, he fixed it with a smile and fast! Red lobster will never be the same without Eddie and Sean!

Our dining experience was greatly enhanced by our waitress Ester at the Hicksville NY location. She is extremely pleasant and very punctual. Ester brings over the cheese biscuits and water right away. She knows the menu very well and helps us order our meal. Ester then checks back with us often. Ester is a wonderful waitress and person!

Sean was our server and he was amazing! So energetic, attentive, engaging, he was able to really change our mood to a positive one! Because of him anytime I am thinking about visiting a Red Lobster we will be traveling to Hicksville. Sean was prompt and was structured. Consistently came over and checked on us. Went here for a last minute date night and I can’t stop raving about the service from Eddie. He was so nice and attentive. I love when you can connect with workers on a joke level. Eddie had great jokes. If anyone gets the chance to meet Eddie like we did ask him to tell you a joke he’s got the best!! He was so kind to our baby making her laugh and smile. So heartwarming. Somebody give this man a raise or a promotion he was wonderful! The food was good.

Thank you for your years of service to Hicksville, NY. The food there is always very good! We always enjoy our meal's there! We especially love lobster tails, shrimp and steaks! My favorite is the lobster bisque! The service is always fast and amiable! We only have one criticism, and it is that the dinnerware utensils are sometimes spotty! So I suggest that they always check their utensils before they give it to us to eat with!

Great place, great food. Best place for eating the sea food. They have a very cozy place and the attendants are very sweet and helpfull. Situated at a prime location in Hicksville, this place provides great quality sea food at a reasonable rate. The also have a bar counter where you can enjoy your food and drinks while watching football or baseball match. The ambience is pretty sober and good place to hangout with friends and family.

I use to go to red lobsters as a kid with my family for everyone’s birthday then it fell off it was horrible a couple of years ago and then I heard a new CEO is in and changed everything so we took a chance yesterday!! I think I enjoy the cheddar biscuits more than anything else at Red Lobster. The side salad with blue cheese was decent. The sailors platter was so so. The fish was thin and so when fried it was like biting down it grease since the fish was thin. The fried popcorn shrimp was ok but not something I would order again. The shrimp scampi was pretty ok The seasoned broccoli wasn’t perfect some crisp and not mushy. I’ve read where several locations have closed in New York State and Stony Brook as Red Lobster is considering filing bankruptcy. The food has become mediocre. The staff works hard but not enough of them to provide the service once offered. It’s my last trip to Red Lobster.

This particular red lobster is very special to me as my mother used to work here and I grew up walking through this restaurant I can say returning today. It gave me a lot of nostalgia, especially when I was waited on by Amber. Amber truly took care of us in every way shape and form and really went out of her way to make sure that the service was elite. She took care of our orders and made sure that she told us about the special. She was very knowledgeable even helped me make my order because although I always order the New Orleans salmon, the Cajun linguine special sounded amazing and I just couldn’t pick Amber is truly special and I hope that you all cherish are here. We were sitting at another waiter section who asked if we wanted Andra's section. So we moved to his section, he greeted us with a big smile and took our order. I was doing some shopping in Hicksville and stopped by this Red Lobster for lunch. It wasn't busy even though it was a weekend. We were seated quickly. We got the usual biscuits pretty quickly and they were warm and delicious. Sometimes I feel like only eating the biscuits. I ordered a salmon dish, and a trio of shrimp dishes. The food was very good and flavorful. The decor was okay, maybe a bit dated but it's the same for all locations so it's understandable. The service was quick and great. Had a great overall experience.

Surpsingly satisfied with my meal from here. I'm not big on chain restaurants, and I hadn't eaten at Red Lobster in about 22 years, but that's where I ended up. I started with the spicy calamari appetizer. The flavor was really good. The texture was pretty good as well. Very commercialized calamari but pretty good overall. Much better than what I was expecting. For my main, I got the endless shrimp special. I tried the fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, salt and vinegar shrimp, shrimp Skewer, and the coconut shrimp. The only one I didn't really enjoy was the coconut shrimp. Way too sweet and a bit on the dry side. All the others were really good. My favorites were probably the salt and vinegar or the fried. All in all, I would say don't write this place off. Although it's a chain, the food was good, the service was excellent, and the prices were right. Also. . . The cheddar bay biscuits are still amazing. I could fill up on those alone.

It’s been years since I stepped into a red lobster. I decided to visit because of the new menu, specifically the sea food boil. I have never done one and I kept seeing it online, along with the new menu offerings/ revamp. We ordered happy hour mozzarella sticks, and they were yummy (I forgot to take a picture of the basket before we devoured it 😂). My hubby, who doesn’t like seafood and came for me, ordered a sirloin cut of steak, fries and broccoli. Hubby said he enjoyed the cut of steak and how it was cooked. Hubby also ordered a happy hour marg and he enjoyed it. I ordered the mariner’s seafood boil and a side of broccoli. I also asked for the old bay Parmesan sauce and asked if the sauce put on the boil could be put on the side, as I am watching my salt/ calorie intake. The seafood boil itself is 600 calories but the included sauces brought the calories up to 1200-1500 calories. When I received the seafood boil, I was able to add the old bay Parmesan seasoning as I liked it and that sauce was 400 calories. It was the first time I tried a seafood boil and I really enjoyed it. The server, Victoria, was kind and attentive. She seemed to have a lot of tables. The cheddar biscuits were even better than I remembered and I’m bummed we only had one round. The decor is the same as it’s been and the lighting dim, it can give off a romantic vibe at night but in the day, it leaves you craving light. Overall great experience back after years.

A red lobster is a red lobster. You should know what you are getting while coming here food wise and its not much. This is a place you bring your parents, your children. But if you want an exciting culinary delight this is the wrong place. There is no seasoning on any of the food. Nothing. You know what a meal at red lobster is like? A lobster tail and lots of shrimp. That's it. Ranging from 20 to 30 dollars. There are more interesting and better places to go to get lobster or seafood. This gets three stars because the everything else was fine. The waitresses were great, the place was clean, I got biscuits, it was quick. But when you go here it will be a noisy hellish experience. I went when it nobody there and there were still several famlies with crying babies. Still. There was still banging next to the booth I was placed next. Theres is awful music, yesterdays pop hits, playing over the speakers. Nothing offensive or good. The salads are overdone, too much dressing. The biscuits are nostalgic but also stale. The entree I got myself was good, but basic. So basic. There is nothing risky on the menu. Your seasoning is butter. The seafood seemed tender and juicy and the lobster was good. But again basic. Don't go here if you want something exciting or out of the norm. Go here if you want to know what its like to go to a cafeteria that serves lobster.

No tax on tip but tip suggested on tax. Food, service and atmosphere are good but don’t recommend the boils. The flavor is very bland.

Our experience tonight was only "okay". The A/C seemed to be on full blast. We were told that the temperature was controlled in Florida. Well it's cold in NY, both inside the restaurant and out. Also, there wasn't any hot water in the bathrooms. I wonder if that is controlled in Florida as well. The food was just "okay". The best thing about the meal was the salmon.

Me and my family went last night to enjoy our selves a dinner. Upon walking in it was pretty quiet. The hosts and hostess they had like a total of three, seemed all confused about something. They didn’t know where to sit people even though they had a bunch of empty tables. From there it was like a nail getting smashed into a coffin constantly. On Mother day I come over to the restaurant I spoke to the head manager I asked her how long it will be a table for 9 people that was around 4 pm she said it will be between a hour and the half to two hours waiting and probably up to 3 hours waiting time I said fine she asked me for my number she will call me when my table is ready ,,,,never happens I came over like around 6;45 I ask in the front they said ,,,they not taken more people the kitchen was backups .. we came to the restaurant one or twice a week I think we deserve apologize from the restaurant manager we could go to another restaurant and celebrate mother day

Red lobster if you look at that tiny little shrimp that they give you that’s grass fed it’s not wild caught. Also the same for the crab meat which is imitation crab meat. I don’t know how you people are thinking red lobster is so good when I go to a restaurant And I order shrimp oregano I get huge shrimp with warm bread and butter

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! The restaurant was extremely cold and service was very poor considering there was only a few occupied tables at 2:30 pm. Biscuits were raw in the middle that were thrown on the table with no butter on the side. It took awhile for our Iced Teas to arrive, then quite some time over half hour later for our Entrees to be served...Strange since there were only a few Diners in the establishment! Mariner's Lobster Boil was SUB PAR and tepid temp...Shrimp Scampi Lunch was extremely oily and pasta with Garlic Butter was horribly oily and overloaded with jarred garlic... Definitely not what is presented on TV Commercials!!! We were overcharged $3.49 for Garlic Butter (oily and greasy not buttery)

Ordered to go. Came home and opened the lobster dip, it's only half. I believe the burnt area shows that's where the dip was up to and the kitchen kept it warm. But waitress took half before the food was picked up? Also no biscuit was given with the order!?

I just want to say that I absolutely love red lobster. I had never been to this location before. The waiter that we had was horrible.. I ordered my food . I didn't get what I ordered. The waiter keep walking by my table not acknowledging me at all. He never came to my table to ask if I needed anything or if everything was ok. I asked for tartar sauce for my fried shrimp which was an appetizer. I didn't receive the tartar sauce until the full course was bought out. When I asked for the manager to come he was nice but it seemed like he was trying to rush me out of the restaurant. I wasn't finished eating but I wanted to leave because of the way I was treated.. He did apologize for the rude waiter but I felt like he didn't want me to be there... I will not be going back to this location again...

Service was horrible. We waited for a table for 4 for an hour but 3 others groups of customers that came after us had been seated once they came. There was this one 5 feet girl waiter that refused to let us be seated. I suspect racism and disrespect from this.

I drove 45 minutes all the way to carle place Red Lobster which is my favorite place because of the 5 start service I receive there.To get turned away at 8pm. I was told they were closed and to go to Hicksville . Mind you it’s a Friday night. My bday weekend.I get to Hicksville i order my food. My Food was brought out cold. Lobster looked it just didn’t want to be eaten. I didn’t touch it. Entire meal was cold so I couldn’t enjoy. Waiter brought out each meal to the table at separate times. I got no utensils to open up my crabs. Still sitting here waiting on this damn waiter to come check on us so I can ask for utensils.He comes back 25 🤬 minutes later talking about do I still want it smdh what’s really up with this place? I just wanted to come enjoy a birthday meal 😢 Who is the MANAGER 😡 I’ve been standing at the front waiting for someone to say something to me or ask me if I need help but NO NOT A SOUL IN SIGHT. Carle Place makes this place look like the worst Red Lobster EVER 😤 worse experience I’m so unhappy right now.
