Opinions de Holy Burger New York
I go almost everyday for lunch, food is made in a decent amount of a time and great quality
I stopped by Holy Burger for dinner and honestly this place exceeded expectations. The burgers were cooked perfectly with crispy edges and still juicy inside, you can tell they use fresh products and is made to order. I ordered the double smash onion burger combo and got a milk shake Fries came out hot and seasoned well, not greasy, and the portions were generous. The milkshake was thick and tasted made-to-order, not syrupy like most fast food spots. The staff was friendly and the food came out fast even though it was busy, which tells me the kitchen runs efficiently. The dining area was clean and well maintained, and it felt comfortable to sit and eat instead of just grabbing takeout. This is definitely a good spot for late night food or a quick lunch. Compared to other burger places nearby, the quality here feels closer to a sit-down burger restaurant but at fast-casual speed. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.
We almost didn't come here....but I'm SO GLAD WE DID!! The food is reasonably priced and was *absolutely* delicious. I got the chopped chicken hero and savored every bite. The french fries have the perfect crunch. The staff was friendly and the service quick. Wish we lived nearby so we could come more often!!!
Me and my wife's first time visiting this place. THE BEST CHEESE FRIES IN NYC. THE CHEESESTEAK AMAZING!! BEST GRAPE SODA I EVER HAD SOLD HERE ONLY. The guy at the counter is very nice and welcoming. Gotta come back here.
Update: The folks apologized and made up for the mistake. GREAT SERVICE. Takeout: Ordered chicken. Ended up getting beef. The slip said chicken too, so nothing for me to suspect when picking it up. Found out only, once I opened and took a bite at home. I don’t eat beef and this was unacceptable. It was not just one burger but 3 protein style burgers which had the problem. WHAT A WASTE!!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – An Absolutely Divine Burger Experience I had the pleasure of visiting Holy Burgers, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The customer service alone set the tone—every staff member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They didn’t just take orders; they made the entire experience feel personal, attentive, and effortless. And the food… wow. Every bite was exceptional. The burger was perfectly crafted—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right, with toppings that tasted incredibly fresh. The bun was soft yet held everything together beautifully, and the sides were just as impressive. You can tell they take real pride in the quality of their ingredients and the care put into each dish. The atmosphere was inviting, the service was outstanding, and the food exceeded every expectation. Holy Burgers truly lives up to its name. I’ll absolutely be back—and I can’t recommend this place enough!
Probably one of the best halal beef burgers in NY. Had two burgers in one day it was so good. This location is a bit small and not well ventilated but the service was nice and the burgers were worth it. Onion rings and fries were also really tasy. Tried the holy chicken burger as well but it was not as good as the beef. Overall if you crave halal beef burgers you should definitely go.
Juicy patty, fresh toppings, and the unique bun. The holy sauce was the highlight for me though. Definitely hit the spot. The chocolate milkshake was super creamy and not overly sweet, with just the right amount of chocolate flavor. The vibe was chill and the staff were really friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a chicken burger next time!
Holy Cow, indeed!! This burger absolutely lives up to the name of the place — Holy Cow. From the very first bite, I knew I was onto something special. It was so good, in fact, that I went back the very next day just to make sure my taste buds weren’t playing tricks on me the first time because I was super hungry. Yeah, it was just as incredible the second time around. And what’s a great burger without perfect fries? Well, they’ve got those covered too — crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. I had their signature burger, and let me tell you… if you consider yourself any kind of burger lover, you owe it to yourself to get over there and try it. Absolutely worth it!
Delicious food and friendly staff! My dad and I came to have lunch together and had a great experience. The food came out very quickly but still tasted hot and fresh. I had the n.y.c. cheesesteak and my dad got the holy burger with some fries to share and not a single bite was left when we were done 😋 They are certified halal and the worker was nice and helpful, pointing out a masjid for us when asked and helping us understand American culture a little 😂 Would definitely recommend!!
For a quick, tasty and reasonably priced meal this place hit the spot. I typically prefer Smashburgers and theirs are of the more traditional variety but the patties are full of beefy flavor and served with fresh toppings on a nice bun so really can’t complain. Service was also efficient so perfect for a quick no fuss meal. I’ll be back.
Holy Cow absolutely delivers! I ordered the Holly Burger, Sliders, and Fries, and everything was spot on. The Holly Burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The toppings were fresh, and the sauce added just the right kick without overpowering the beef. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The Sliders were just as impressive—small but packed with flavor. The patties were well-seasoned, the buns were soft, and everything was balanced perfectly. The fries? Crispy, golden, and well-seasoned. Exactly how they should be. Great food, solid portions, and good service. If you’re craving a quality burger, Holy Cow is 100% worth it!
Tried the Chicken Sliders Combo for $7.99—delicious and a great deal! The sliders were crispy and fresh, and the fries were hot and tasty. The staff was super friendly, and the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant was clean and well-organized. Definitely coming back! Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Holy cow the store was spotless, and it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority. The service was fast and efficient, with the staff making sure everything was taken care of quickly. And the food? Absolutely delicious! The sliders were perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for great food and excellent service!"
The burgers in this place are pretty great. The patty is juicy and filling. The chicken tenders seemed burnt but they somehow managed to make it not dry inside. However if you dont finish the tenders fast they are going to start to get dry(I think they overfried it). The shakes are actually really good. We forgot to take pictures but I recommend the Dulce De Leche and Oreo milkshake. Their fried products like the onion rings seemed to be a little bit overfried because the outer layer was tough. I would personally recommend any beef patty burger with the shakes. Pretty quiet place to sit and grab a quick no fuss meal.
The food was good and the staff were nice. The sauce was a bit sour and didn’t work well with the Chicken Nuggets but thankfully the the nuggets didn’t need it. The sliders were really filling. Surprisingly the beef sliders were better than the chicken (not to say the chicken wasn’t good). Honestly, would come again.
Service is friendly. Onion rings are lightly seasoned and crispy. Fries are also lightly seasoned, crunchy bite with soft Center. My son got a double 4 Oz. burger & I got a double 6 Oz. Doesn't sound like a big difference but you can visually see a difference. I could barely bite the burger; I probably could have done a single 6 Oz and been fine. The taste was decent; it could use a little more flavor, but not bad. The nuggets are super tiny- almost like popcorn chicken. They are tasty. The can soda with the combo is only a 7.5 Oz. Wouldn't mind coming back to try other things.
Little burger spot with no restroom and 3 tables and a bar like stand. Burger was average, meat wasn't juicy or tasty... Chicken sandwich was better, French fries was good and the best out of three. It certainly doesn't deserve 4.8 score, it probably has to do with two things, they give you a free soda drink if you leave a review and it's also apparently halal place, if I I knew it's halal before coming, I'd go to another spot... All halal burgers I tried are nothing special to be honest
Pro tip- If you want a halal burger, go to BK Jani in The Hugh on 53rd during lunch hours for their much larger burger, which also comes with masala fries, for around $15, which blows this place and 90% of non-halal spots out of the water. Also, an obvious side note- You wonder how a place that's been open for, I believe, a year and a half has 1500 reviews? It's because they give you a free soda if you write a 5-star review, so I guess if you have a palate for Polar sodas, you can give them a five regardless of their quality. If you're going to get anything, go for the tender combo, as their sliders, burgers, and buns are bad. Anyway, it's nice to find a Zabiha Halal spot that serves burgers and other American grub in this neighborhood. I used to frequent somewhat similar spots back in the Arabic neighborhood I lived near in Brooklyn, and it was nice to see this place open a while back. I have tried a handful of things here, and honestly, it's gotten worse every time. The first time, I got the tenders consisting of six pieces for $14, which is honestly very reasonable. The thinner pieces were a tad dry, as the batter had become overly fried, but it's hard to complain about the price point. They also came with a perfectly alright sauce called Mambo, which they list as spicy but is as hot as a spicy McNugget or similar with a light sweetness. The second time, I had the Slider Combo for $7.99, which came with two chicken sliders (spicy if wanted,) fries, and a Polar soda. The fries were honestly nice and better quality than those at any nearby fast-food place. The sliders were dreadful, however. They were dry with overly breaded chicken with no pickles or anything else to help, so I guess that's why it comes with a soda or water. This doesn't help the even worse bun, which was dry as well, and makes a Martin's potato roll look like a Rolls-Royce. The Polar drink was, as expected, a worse Diet Coke. The last time, and the last time I'll ever stop in here, I got the Classic Burger, which is their smash patty with American cheese, holy sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. This was the worst burger I've had in ages and easily the worst smashburger, with the meat somehow being dry. I guess the bun was different as it was larger, but also as the top was charred better than the burger meat. Maybe the signature burger for $4 more is better, but I'm never going to stop for it if they're careless enough to burn a burger bun. 3 stars for the chicken tenders due to the deal. 2 stars for the slider combo, as the fries were decent. 0.5 stars for the burger. 2/5
I want to start off this review by saying the food was fresh and tasted good but for 9$ this feels like a rip-off, 1 small tender cut in half for 2 slider is just wrong. Not only that but look at the tiny bit of fries they give with this combo, it also comes with one of those mini cans of soda. We all had sliders before and understand they are meant to be light but a mcdonalds happy meal has more food then this, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
