Really great service for a table of 6. One of our guest is gluten-free and the menu had a lot of options and the server was kind enough to offer vegetables for that person to enjoy the many dips and spreads (since they couldn't have the delicious pita). Small restaurant but didn't feel crowded. It had something for everyone and was a great choice for dinner before a 7:30pm off broadway show. Food was great too!

The wrap in this place is out of this world. One of the best Felafel’s wraps I’ve had in a very long time. Our server was very friendly and nice. She had to remind me to wear my mask when I got up to go to wash my hands. I appreciated her friendly reminder. The portion was great for lunch and the restaurant location is amazing. It’s about 10 min walk to Times Square!

Sat at the bar which is very comfy and smells from the open kitchen makee salivate while waiting for my order. Back again for something new. Going to try the falafel appetizer with additional pita-of course 😉. I always love coming to this low key, comfy place. Clay helped me throughout the evening. I really enjoyed myself. *06/06/2024 Everyone that works here smiles and says hello, from the manager, the severs, to the staff working in the kitchen. The food here is excellent -always fresh and reasonably priced. Hummus Kitchen also has the best sangria that I have ever tasted. The one bathroom is always clean. This restaurant has a warm, comfortable ambiance -we like the fixtures & tiles. There is a bar in the back of the restaurant that has four high top stools - it has adequate room for 4 eating a full meal. One cannot go wrong coming to this intimate restaurant in Hells Kitchen!

I had a really great experience at Hummus Kitchen. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and really well prepared. The service was just as good; attentive without being overbearing. The vibe was calm and relaxing, which made the whole meal that much more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

Great kosher Mediterranean restaurant near the theater district makes for the perfect pre-theater dinner! We got the hummus sampler which included hummus with tahini, hummus with chicken and hummus with beef. The entrees that my family got included chicken shawarma, falafel tacos and Mediterranean Red Chicken. Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend!

Excellent Israeli food at a reasonable price! Brunch is $19 for a main and comes with a small sampler appetizer (drink not included). Classic Israeli dishes like shakshuka, Tel Aviv breakfast, and hummus. Brunch starts at 11:30 only so not great for an early brunch. But food comes out fast!

We started the night with a couple of Mimosas (absolutely yummm & light), followed by falafel and 2 main dishes! Everything was super fresh, made to order, especially the bread with shakshuka was superb (recommended by our hostess!). Totally recommend this place, will 100% visit again. 5/5

Been here many times and it's one of the most dependable vegetarian restaurants around! Absolutely love their veggie 'taco' with cauliflower tahini and pita. Do ask for their green spicy paste - it's got a great kick for spice lovers. Their shashuka and hummus are fantastic too.

I was in town visiting my sister and craving Mediterranean food. We decided to try a place she hadn’t been to, and we made the best decision coming here!! It was phenomenal. We both got the tacos, which are two filled pita pockets with sides of hummus, tahini, baba ghanoush, a tomato/cucumber salad, and pickles. I got chicken shawarma and she got the falafel. They were so delicious! I tried her falafel and it was probably the best falafel I’ve ever had, so I decided to get an order of falafel tacos to bring home as well. We made a reservation by phone about 30 min prior to arriving on a Saturday night and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food arrived quick and the service was excellent. Would 100% recommend and I want to go back next time I’m in Manhattan! My sister is excited to have a new go-to place in her neighborhood.

A hidden gem of Hell’s Kitchen! We came on a Friday night and surprisingly didn’t have to wait for seats. It was really delicious Mediterranean cuisine The chicken hummus was savory and well mixed. Highly recommend beet salad with walnuts. We also went for wheat bread, which they cut open for you to stuff things inside. Overall 5/5! Loved it

Hummmus Kitchen is always delicious. Service is great, food is always fresh and tasty and served promptly. We love coming here, the atmosphere is chill and welcoming. Our favorites are the mezze platter (love the grape leaves) and the falafel tacos. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend getting the “tacos” when you go. Soft pillowy pita with your choice of filling (meat or vegan). The meat was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The happy hour deal was also pretty good, 50% off all wines, beers and cocktails, I think it is 4-6pm. It’s a great place to stop mid day or after work for a nice bite or to go and share lots of mezze dishes.

Food was very flavourful. We went for dinner and had the cauliflower tacos and chicken couscous, some falafel. The cauliflower was so good we ordered it again. Definitely ask for Harissa on the side to whatever you are ordering, what a brilliant sauce! Baklava was disappointing. The decor was top notch, won my heart! 😍

I don’t say this lightly - this was a top meal of my life. I am so glad I game across this gem. I food-prepped for our New York trip for weeks and didn’t find this spot, but my wife said she was in the mood for Mediterranean and luckily we were close by at the time or I never would have found it. I am so glad I went off script and decided to take a chance on this. We got the chicken kabob (served on a bed of cucumber, tomato, and onion) and beef/lamb “tacos” with a side of chickpea hummus and pita. I cannot overstate how good this meal was. The staff was kind and considerate, and the food was served hot and absolutely fresh. Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish, and the food was the highlight. I could go on. The next time we are back in NYC, we will be back to Hummus Kitchen. Guaranteed. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Love, love, love this place! Every time my grandkids come down from MA, we have a meal at Hummus Kitchen, either Hell's Kitchen or UES (never 3rd Ave in the 30s, just not as good). Tonight came after Sunday matinée and once again everyone enjoyed their meal. My daughter just had the mezze trio; 1 grandson loves the sirloin hummus and the other one had the cauliflower "taco." Hubs had cauliflower taco and I had the chraime salmon taco. 4 of us shared the malabi dessert, soooo good!

Excellent food, one of the best falafels in town, and definitely the best Shug (spicy but delicious dip for those who love it, a must-have). The service is super friendly and welcoming, but not “hovering”. The meal was very satisfying and definitely more than enough: freshly fried falafel, fluffy baked pita, and freshly chopped salad. I just tasted the majadara because I am not a rice lover, but it was well seasoned and well done. And don't judge the glass of wine in the middle Of the day. It's very European :) In short: come hungry, leave happy.

Incredible Hummus & Best Turkish coffee! This place is a true gem! Cozy and quaint atmosphere. Their hummus is VERY good – creamy, perfectly seasoned, and served with delicious warm pita. We also loved happy hour entrees! They come with a salad and hummus as well. What truly stood out was the Turkish coffee after our meal - it was packed with cardamom flavor and kept us warm in this cold weather. Service was attentive, fast and friendly, and made our dining experience perfect. Highly recommend for any hummus enthusiast!

We came here before going to our broadway show and had the most amazing service. The only thing better than the service was the food! Our table of 5 shared The Hummus Kitchen (sampler platter of their hummus) and absolutely fell in love. Highly recommend the Shwarma Laffa, the Sirloin Hummus and the Passion Glow. Also our server surprised us with a chocolate mousse desert that we have been talking about for DAYS. This will always be a stop when we’re in the city.

I wasn’t sure what to expect because I’m picky with food, especially when it comes to hummus. But everything here tasted fresh, and the staff explained the different options so I could choose what I’d actually enjoy. Not every dish was perfect for me, but I found two that I really liked. Cute small little restaurant with really good food! Loved the spices that they had and the pita was soo warm and delicious. Started out with a couple of beers and moved onto courses of beef shakshuka and the Moroccan fish. Really loved the flavoring on these dishes and both were soo good. Service was good as well in a timely fashion and really do recommend. Cute little spot with really good food.

I tried Hummus Kitchen few months ago, and as an Israeli, I didn't really like the hummus. Back then I took a plain hummus plate with tahini and pita, and the hummus was too thick and the taste was a a bit flat. Last Saturday, my friends wanted me to meet them there, as it was a close location to everyone. This time I took the Brunch fixed price, which is 16$, and got appetizers and as an entree I took hummus, again, with egg on top of it and peppers and all sorts. I must say, this time was amazing. The hummus was light, flavorful and fresh. The appetizers were so delicious, especially the salmon and the grape leaves filled with rice. The pitas were fresh and warm and delicious and overall it was such a great experience. Our hostess, Noa, was a sweetheart and our table was cozy and great for a brunch get together. All six of us really loved the food and the vibe.

Nice space good dim lit decor. The hummus was nice. Falafels were fresh and crispy. Chicken shawarma was light and the chicken tasted fresh and smoky. The green shakshuka (just a spinach leaf on top) was good. The challah was fresh. A nice spot overall.

Cute restaurant in midtown. They have good Mediterranean and vegetarian options. Seating is limited and space is small but have a wonderful ambience. We ordered brunch platter and entree and cauliflower tacos. Platter was small for 2 people, entree - Shakshuka was delicious and also the tacos. We also ordered dessert and a cocktail. Overall good place to stop by for quick grab and drink.

Came here with friends around 7pm on a Saturday night and was able to get seated right away without a reservation. However, we snagged the last table, so don’t rely on just being able to walk in. I enjoyed the decor and the service of this place. The food was also delicious, but my group was annoyed that the pictures of the food in the menu did not match what we received. For example we ordered the salmon tacos and one of the reasons I wanted them in the first place was because they came with a decently sized side salad (from the pictures in the menu). When the place arrived, however, the salad was tiny and I wouldn’t have ordered what I did, if I knew that’s the case. Giving this place 4 starts because the pictures in their menu were inaccurate and misleading.

It was very pricey but the good was good, a tier above your typical falafel joint in the US or in Israel. The atmosphere was pretty good as well for what it was. I mean, there were doordash types coming in and out, but still, like the food it was a tier above your typical falafel joint.

I had a shakshuka. Unfortunately the place was bit crowded and slow. It took them 30 minutes to bring out my order, in which it was compensated with free appetizers and some teas. The staffs are very welcoming and accepting of their mistakes(?).

Cozy hole in the wall place with cute decor, but service was pretty bad and portions were small. They were also extremely stingy with the pita - they expected me to eat the below pictured bowl of hummus with half a small pita for my entree. I had to ask for the pita, too.

This is a cozy little spot in Hell's kitchen for a quick meal. I love that they have pictures & videos on their iPad menu that makes it super easy to decide your order. The service was excellent, very friendly, attentive. Other than that, I didn't find anything else that was special. The food was very average. Some dishes - the falafel and babaganush, were good but the rest that we ordered - Mediterranean red chicken, hummus, and the deserts, were just average. Nothing bad, just not the best in town. I don't think I'll go back here. Might be a good stop if you're looking to satisfy a quick craving for Mediterranean food.

They do not serve pita during the Passover. Pita would have made this an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious but I can't justify the pricing in comparison to the quantity you get, even for NYC! We got the veggie soup, hummus & falafel.

The appetizer was really good. The bread that came with Shakshuka was amazing! The ambience is cute and neat! But unfortunately I didn't have a great experience here. They seem to be understaffed ---the service was really slow. Besides that, the poached eggs were over hard in both of our Shakshuka orders. We reluctantly asked them if they could redo the eggs, to which we were told that's how they typically make it here. Anyway, they were nice enough to bring a second order which was still only okay. One of the eggs was still overcooked.

I had a terrible experience here. While I was seated at one of the corner tables, a cockroach actually fell on me. To make things worse, the staff laughed instead of apologizing or taking the situation seriously. This is completely unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place and choosing a spot where the staff is respectful and proper hygiene standards are maintained.
