Excellent service- very helpful and relaxed. The food was excellent- we had white Sangria, empanadillas and montafitos, then paella and fongo del Mar. The shrimp and mussels were really well cooked and generous. Highly recommend!

as soon as my friends and i entered, we were welcomed with smiles. we had a little bit of a wait but that was no problem with the kind hospitality. our starters were amazing. we had tostones with pollo and sweet plantains. great start. idk what my friends got to eat but i had the land and sea paella and i couldn’t even engage in the conversation - i was munchin. the drinks were perfect too. we finished off with some tres leches which was probably the best tres leches i’ve ever had. great experience and will be back

Such a lovely place to eat. My husband booked a table hear after being recommended by a friend, it did not disappoint. Such delicious food and friendly service. EZ Paella & Tapas is an absolute standout — a warm, colorful spot where Spanish and Venezuelan flavors come together beautifully. The empanadas are perfectly golden and flaky with a creamy dipping sauce that’s downright addictive, and the arepitas topped with shredded beef, plantains, and cheese are next-level comfort food. Everything tastes freshly made and full of heart, from the first bite to the last sip of their crisp, fruit-filled sangria. The staff is friendly, the energy is vibrant, and every dish feels like it was crafted with love. A total 10/10 experience — this place deserves all the praise!

i’m from Hawaii and here for work and found this nice little restaurant while walking around. went in I got to meet the owner, Alex and Anthony the cook and Andres who greeted and seated me. AWESOME service. Very nice people and great food. Alex(owner) recommended Montaditos Venezuela to complement the Seafood Spicy Paella. Both were really good. Highly recommend paying this place a visit. This 2 dishes filled me up. I will definitely be coming here whenever I'm in NYC. If you go there because you read my review please let them know why you came. Mahalo

We decide to try something different as we are still celebrating our anniversary. Its our fist time here and the service was great and the food was delicious! I had the Montaditos Venezuela and the yuquitas con chimichurri. My fiance had the Pabellón criollo! The music wasn't loud ,very nice place and very clean place including the restroom

This place offers some of the best prepared Spanish and Venezuelan dishes you can have in NYC. No joke. We've ordered pretty much the entire tapas menu and everything was made or cooked to perfection. Big thumbs up to our waiter who had to deal with a big party which came with us. I highly recommend this establishment when it comes to authenticity of the two cuisines I've mentioned.

I realized that I've never had Venezuelan food before so I decided to check this place out. It's a Venezuelan / Spanish fusion and everything was so tasty. We went with a few appetizers and finished it off with the seafood paella. The paella doesn't look like much but the flavors that come out of that bowl are quite bright and dynamic. There is a lot of shrimp in there which you don't see in the picture on the menu. We added chorizo to ours and I loved it. It added a nice contrast in texture since everything else had a softer feel. My friend didn't love it but I think it was a great add-on. We ordered the half-carafe of red sangria and it was such a good choice. Good size and the flavor was pure. It didn't taste like other sangrias that have fat too many extra stuff in it. You know I love great service. The food can be A+ but if the service is lacking, it's a huge disappointment. But out server Cataldo was amazing. He was knowledgeable, patient, and gave the best recommendations. I really like this place. I love how small and cozy it is. Big restaurants stress me out but this place had such a nice vibe, I can't wait to go back. Thank you Cataldo for a great experience.

Our experience at EZ Paella & Tapas was exceptional!! I enjoyed the spicy seafood paella, while my party also had the chicken paella burrito and shrimp paella burrito and we were all pleased. Not only was the food great, our peach sangria was a treat and the service was attentive and pleasant. We recommend you make your way to EZ Paella & Tapas next time you’re in the Hell’s Kitchen area or near one of their other locations!!

We walked in when they were almost closing but they opened up and made us a table. Even guided us on vegetarian fare. Dinner was delicious and dishes wiped clean by my family. Excellent service and great food!

After so much traveling we were really craving some paella, so we decided to try the restaurant our Uber driver recommend. We went to EZ Paella & Tapas and from the moment we walked in it felt welcoming and cozy. The menu had so many nice choices and we ended up ordering a lot of different items to try. Everything we got was tasty but my favorite was the shrimp. The flavor was rich and fresh, and it really reminded me of the comfort meals my lola cooks back home in the Philippines. Eating it made me feel like I was back at our family table, sharing food and stories. It’s not easy to find that kind of feeling when you are far from home, so it was really special for me. The staff were also friendly and made sure we had everything we need. The service was quick even though there were other customers, and the atmosphere was nice for relaxing after a long day. Thank you EZ Paella & Tapas for the amazing food and for making me feel close to home even when I’m far away.

Cute experience but nothing extraordinary. The chicken paella was a little bitter for my taste, the croquettes were fine, and the mini empanadas were just right. Loved the small space and the service was great, however I doubt we will be coming back.

—The whole experience was mediocre. 🫩 We ordered tapas / ham & cheese croquettes which were salty and the flavor did not hit. We also had the morsillas that looked appealing but were bland , lacked flavor and were not savory at all, also a disappointment. For the entree we were excited to order the signature paella, that people so rave about. The paella was an interesting one , it was not super bad but also the flavors did not wow me , it did have great amount of fresh seafood but rice was lil too heavy . Overall this place did not impress me at all . Definitely overrated, meals were mediocre with flavors that were completely off. Seasoning was not good! 👎🏽👎🏽 —I had the ‘Tres Leche cake for dessert which was pretty good.
