I'm pretty critical when it comes to food, but when I eat at Amali in New York I always know I will be happy! Tonight I ordered the spice-grilled chicken and I think it was the absolute best chicken I've had in my life (and I eat it and cook it a lot!) The flavors were amazing, and it was perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed the gluten free appetizers - the olives and charcuterie were excellent, the fall squash hummus with the gluten free bread were super delish. I had a side of roasted broccoli which was crispy and flavorful. All the desserts were light, sweet, and beautiful, and we left feeling delighted. It's great to be able to eat out and enjoy one's meal thoroughly while still eating healthy. I eat at Amali for all of my favorite celebrations!

The food was absolutely special and delicious. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. All the dishes we tried were delicious, but we especially enjoyed the quinoa crusted duck which was simply mind blowing. We will definitely come back to Amali, it was a perfect dinner.

I love this place. The decoration is elegant and fancy, the staffs are friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing. I'm happy to choose Amali to be the place for our gathering lunch after wedding. The price is affordable for the good quality of food and nice service 👍

Loved absolutely everything about my lunch at Amali. The owners and Chef were super friendly and accommodating and the food was absolutely amazing! The scallops, the sea bass, the salmon...all fantastic. The spread of appetizers that we tried was an amazing assortment of flavors and was more Mediterranean than Italian....I would recommend everything on the menu and I felt that everyone was covid-compliant and perfectly safe with masks, gloves, etc. The owners did a FABULOUS job and I am going to make a point to get to their other locations!!! Thank you so much!!

Enjoyed the service cocktails and food immensely. Its not full enclosed so if you get cold easily I'd suggest to dress warm but they do have their heat lamps. Italian Mediterranean cuisine and an extensive wine selection. The staff is very friendly professional and attentive. Highly recommend

Visited for brunch on Nov. 21 and the experience was pleasant. There is music in the background and plenty of outdoor seating. I made the reservation for 2 of us about one hour before. My husband ordered the Cavatalli and I ordered the Bolognese pasta. The Cavatalli has shredded braised lamb and a nice hint of mint. The bolognese was more flavorful and oily than expected. For drinks they offer unlimited Vueve for $40 which we will come back for... we had the Chardonnay, la belle roches, and definitely recommend it - it also has 5 stars on some wine lists. Definitely plan to come back. Last thing - their bread and dip is delicious!!!

I really enjoyed my meal at Amali. The spicy feta and their whipped butter were both to die for. The chicken and fish entrees were both great. Our waiter was also great, super helpful with recommendations and attentive to drink requests.

Service was good. Whipped feta with the bagel was a good start. The oysters were good, octopus was interestingly different than what I usually would go for, (I am Mediterranean) but good tho. Wagyu pasta was interesting, wouldn’t go for it again.. my date got the Dorade, it was better than my pasta for sure. We also had the tuna carpaccio and cauliflower side, all good Then again, I loved the cocktails. We were in the back corner and could hear each other well. Good spot for a date

It's the last week of Winter Restaurant Week in NYC! This place has delicious Mediterranean food, but the price is pretty high. We love the appetizers. Both dishes come with this tasty fried flat bread. The hummus is smooth and tastes great. The mushroom is cut into small pieces and is well-seasoned. The scallop main dish is okay; the portion is kinda small for the price we pay. Duck sausage pasta portion is pretty big compared to the scallop dish. There is no dessert included in RW menu, which is kinda a bummer. Overall, food is amazing, I just don't think it is worth the price we paid. So if you don't have a budget, or want to do something fancy, highly recommend.

The atmosphere and service were both top notch, and the menu itself was diverse and had lunch specials. I ordered the roasted clams for my appetizer, and the clams themselves were tragically extremely chewy. It was a shame because the prosciutto breadcrumbs it came in were delicious, especially with the marjoram. However, the grilled skirt steak was even more disappointingly chewy, lacked flavor, overcooked, and annoyingly difficult to slice into with the butter knife they provided. These mistakes are less forgiving considering this restaurant’s price point and extremely competitive nearby restaurants.
