Amazing restaurant. For valentines they have those amazing raviolis is shape of hearts 😍 Service is excellent. The main course - chicken had very very very tasty Sauce ( I forgot the name). And my fave appetizer buffalo mozzarella was fantastic. Highly recommend. Selection of wine and alcohol is very satisfactory

For an Italian restaurant in Wall Street area, this place is pretty awesome. No need to go to Little Italy when it is this good. If you work in the Wall Street area and crave for Italian food, you must try this place.

The service and friendliness was wonderful. I really couldnt find a red wine by the glass I liked. The Beet Salad special was a little odd tasting and I didnt like tje accomplishments for the crispy sea bass. The ceasar salad was good, as was the veal piccata. I guess I just ordered the qring things. It was also warm and cozy.

On Wall St for a business NYSE Closing, and felt like eating Italian food. The wife does not like seafood, and there are a few items on the menu that meet this need. She had the chicken Parm, and I had the sausage chicken. I thought mine was pretty good and serving size was ok. The wife felt the tomato sauce on the chicken Parm came from a can... Did not taste prepared, she also ran into a few pieces of the chicken that were fatty. The olives and bread were good, Limited selection on non-alcohol beverages. The waiters and waitresses were on top of it, and friendly. We felt a little out of place in jeans, as most of the customers in this place were in suits. They did ask if we had reservations, and seated us even though we looked a hot mess from traveling and did not have reservations. I guess we should suspect this from the financial district. We are from TX, here for business so I won't complain. If had the choice I would go back to Joseph's and try other plates, and their salads as they looked good. I would consider dressing up a bit though so we don't feel as out of place.

Nice Italian place with a really sweet ambiance. Nice and welcoming . Really cute bar, interesting service with so many people on the service, but a little disoriented. The one thing I don't like is when your waiter is topping up your glass with water every second, I get it, they want you to spend a lot of money on the expensive sparkling water, but common you cannot be that aggressive. The food is good, nice pasta and appetizers, a great place to get together with coworkers and have dinner and a drink.

Its proximity to the lively Stone Street and the renowned Harry’s Steakhouse adds to its allure as a dining destination in FiDi. The interior ambiance strikes the right note for a pleasant dining experience, offering a respite from the urban rush. My decision to dine at Joseph’s was influenced by the promise of a serene environment paired with the convenience of its location. However, while the setting met expectations, certain aspects of the service and culinary experience left room for improvement. The service was adequate up until the conclusion of our meal, when the attentiveness of our server notably diminished. The prolonged wait to request our check, seemingly forgotten after our table was cleared, detracted from the overall dining experience. Furthermore, the presentation of my leftovers in a simple plastic ‘Thank You’ bag, placed unceremoniously on the table before dessert was even served, lacked the finesse one might expect from an establishment of Joseph’s caliber. Culinary-wise, the dishes were satisfactory, yet unremarkable. The steak, requested medium, leaned towards medium-rare, verging on rare at its core. Additionally, a specific request to substitute the mushroom sauce due to allergies resulted in a plain, sauceless steak, rather than an alternative concoction from the chef. This oversight was disappointing and contributed to the overall oddity of the meal. The dessert course brought its own set of mixed feelings. While the tiramisu I received was enjoyable, the portion size compared to my friend’s—visibly about 20% larger—left me feeling somewhat overlooked. Whether my slice was unusually small or my friend’s was generously oversized, it introduced a sense of inconsistency that marred the end of our meal. The value proposition of dining at Joseph’s Italian Restaurant is debatable. While the location is undoubtedly prime, nestled within the FiDi area and surrounded by ample dining alternatives, the culinary and service missteps suggest that there’s room for refinement. In conclusion, Joseph’s Italian Restaurant earns a solid three stars from me. It stands as a nice spot in the Financial District with potential for greatness, yet the inconsistencies in service, culinary execution, and the dessert disparity suggest that there is yet some way to go in fully realizing its promise.

Food was delicious. Service was horrible. We had to finally go to hostess and ask for our bill after we had sat there for 10 minutes after they emptied our table. The manager brought 2 shots of tequila as an apology (which we did not want) but at least he made an effort.

My partner and I came here for dinner expecting it to be phenomenal given so many great reviews. This was FAR from the case. We did the prefix menu for fun but when the apps came it was either my burnt and cold bread or her bland caesar salad (seriously it tasted like wet lettuce with a couple of capers). Entrees were just as bad. Portion sizes were awful considering the price. 5 raviolis? Not to mention when you bite into them it tastes like it was filled with the ocean. I’ve never had so much salt in my life. Steak was decent, orzo was terrible and bland. Both entrees came out cold despite being the only people in there. Not exaggerating, we figured it might be quiet however we were the only party so this was unacceptable. Tiramisu was excellent though! Service was fine, not over the top but just did the job well. Really made it seem like we were bothering them by being there though as they swarmed our table like sharks. I wish I could recommend however after this experience we will not be dining here again.

I was unpleasantly surprised after going there with high expectations. Appetizers were really bad except the calamari. Pasta dishes were fine but not fine dining level. Over all it is a basic Italian restaurant with food below average
