I’m a long time customer in Sweden and London and was excited to see the New York locations open. While I love the product , the bread and juice recipes. They are too slow in Williamsburg . Too many glitches and delays. Need to improve

Average. I've always thought of Joe and the Juice as a "nice" chain coffee place. The prices certainly are very high. I'll try this location again, but overall it feels like they could have used 1-2 extra staff on the day I went. Wasn't super slow but one person was taking orders for a big line of people while making coffee. For the price, they should be staffing more. Food was ok but sandwich was barely warm.

Asked for a double espresso macchiato and got a small latte instead because they have no clue what they're doing. Music is too loud to sit and function in the place and service is slow. Expensive real estate at the east end of Wall Street and not sure how they stay in business. $5.5 for a glass of coffee flavored milk.

Expect Steep prices, establishment has plenty of space to sit and sip. We walked in as we strolled down the financial district. We needed a caffeine boost. Coffee was good. Overall, great experience.

Space itself plays a big game . However , it seems the barista is inexperienced and coffee is such a nightmare. Banana bread, on the other hand , delish!!!! Moist, tasteful and simply a must-to-eat goodie! Music very high but very nice quality of techno. Too pricy though.

I have been ordering Green Shield from various Joe and the Juice locations this is the only location that makes chunky smoothie like juices with large pieces of fruit&veg inside it. This is supposed to be juice, not smoothie 🤨

Joe & the Juice purveys the most mid smoothies to have crossed the Atlantic—they’re the Blank Street Coffee of Denmark. “The Nutty” ostensibly has ~40 grams of protein, nut butter, and dates yet has the viscosity of an IV drip. $13 better spent at the mall juice stand. For an actual smoothie, go to Two Hands across the street.

Over priced and slow. App never works for me. Half of the employees are great the other half counted care less. Rush hour for lunch or not this place moves at snails pace. Not everyone wants to order online first. I am the only person who has actually ordered in the last 15 min and I’m still waiting. And there has been 1 online order, 5 people behind the counter slowly putting on gloves. 30+ dollars for two sandwiches and I have to ask for a bag . Don’t order a dessert because they will give it to you in your hand

I stopped by here while visiting the city and got a green shield juice and Banana bread. The Banana bread was moist and tasty but it was just two bites or a mout full. The juice tasted like green water and even though it supposedly has ginger I couldn't taste it. It was lacking that rich substance you would normall get from a good juice. I found price to be quite expensive as well. 16 oz Juice was $12.60 and a tiny banana bread 4.60. Total $18.73 with tax.

I have continuous bad luck at this location. Went here at 11am today, a Saturday. There was only a handful of people in store. I ordered a small vanilla matcha and it was filled mainly with foam. Then I waited 25 minutes for my açaí bowl. Before ordering, I had asked if there were cranberries in the granola (allergy). I was told no, just raisins. When I FINALLY get the bowl, there’s cranberries. That’s dangerous. Everyone was waiting 30 minutes for their drinks or food. Not sure what going on but this happens every time I come here.

Note. This review is not for the juice. Just for coffee. This place shall Call juice & juice as coffee really bad. Ordered an latte it is so watery really it is not latte. It is loud. Services is below standard. Not sure if this just our experience but I’m supplies so many other good reviews.

This place has become absolute trash compared to what it used to be (it was never great) Was served a "smoothie" that was nothing more than milky water, and the guy had the nerve to claim he "followed the recipe." Lol

Filled with babies. Terrible flow of the store. Feels like Manhattan not Brooklyn. Coffee is fine. Wish it would go away. Thousands of better coffee spots in the area. If you’re a tourist you should def go, you’ll love it.

I shop at Joe & The Juice in Washington DC all the time to great experience. I used Uber Eats on my 60th birthday in Brooklyn and they omitted my almond croissant. I stopped by the store to ask for a replacement item as the responsibility for the food in the bag rests upon the restaurant.The clerk said they do not have almond croissants at this store. And said I can get a refund from Uber Eats. She did not offer any sort of resolution. Very disappointing service. That’s why I’m giving them a bad rating.

I haven’t been to the store but I’ve ordered several times from this location and it was a disaster each time as there’s always something wrong. I will no longer order after today as I found a piece of a white rubber band at the bottom of my blueberry matcha latte. DISGUSTING.

Don’t waste your money on juice here.. literally tastes like WATER. The tunacado has maybe 2g of tuna.. such a rip off, do not believe the hype. also they forgot my croissant. I am livid 😭better off going to ANY bodega 🙄

Beautiful area, however, I ordered a tunavocado, gave the cashier $20 and received the wrong amount of change back. On top of that, i received my sandwich in a dirty and greasy packaging. And on top of this, the sandwich was extremely greasy and looked as if it was rotting. Don’t recommend.

Took 15 minutes for just one shot of espresso which I had asked for over ice but received hot. Wouldn’t mind waiting but there was no rush at all at the time. Staff was unhelpful:(

Waited over 20 minutes for just two shakes, even though only one person was ahead of me. The staff weren’t focused at all — they spent most of the time chatting with each other instead of working. Really poorly organized and disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. There were three staff members, and two assisted me, but the woman’s attitude was unprofessional. The man who made my matcha latte was also rude. Although I ordered it hot, the drink was lukewarm and served in a dirty cup. I came to New York in a great mood, but this left me feeling upset.

Last two times I’ve come into this location to order and sand which it’s turned into 30 minute ordeal where they lose the order and then have to remake after waiting way to long for the sandwhich in the first place. Do not go here if you are in any kind of time crunch. This place cannot get their shit together. No one is organized or has any focus. Things are always getting messed up or lost. 8 ppl working at once and somehow it’s pure chaos

I had a very disappointing experience at Joy and Juice. When I asked for the bathroom password, I was told it was “out of service.” But shortly after, another customer asked and they gave him the PIN. I ordered 2 sandwiches and a juice, which came to $60 – way overpriced for the quality. My sandwich was left sitting on the counter without anyone calling my name, so by the time I found it, it was already cold and tasted terrible. The bananas they used for the juice were already black, which made it taste unpleasant. When I mentioned the poor service, the staff just said “OK” and didn’t care at all. Overall, the food, prices, and customer service were very disappointing. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. Even 1 star feels like too much

I’d never been to a Joe & the Juice before and went to this location. The staff was friendly, but after ordering, I waited 6 minutes and saw two employees taking orders but not actually making drinks. When I asked for a refund, they quickly started making mine, but by the time I got the receipt, they had already placed my drink on the table, which I didn’t take. It was unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. If it was that easy to make my drink, why did it take 8-9 minutes? The place wasn’t even busy, and there were five cups with ice just sitting there while staff continued taking orders. I don’t plan to go back to this place or any other Joe & the Juice location. I’m not looking for the usual “Please reach out to our customer support team so we can better understand the situation and work towards a resolution” response—this issue seems to be ongoing. I ended up walking to Starbucks and got my coffee in less than 4 minutes.

Horrible service and terrible coffee. Two “large” Americanos cost $10.23 — and this is what they call a large size. (200ml?) Also, we waited 15 minutes for two small coffees — and there were only three customers and four staff at the time. The big girl who was at the drink station was incredibly unfriendly. With that kind of attitude, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it affected her job one day. To top it off, an employee in uniform was sitting in the customer area with two drinks on the table. ???

Disgusting. I was so disappointed in how we were treated and the abysmal quality of the food. We discovered that the avocado toast was rotten on the inside, inedible. Our mother has a medical condition that makes her sensitive to sound. We asked if it were possible to lower the music for a short duration. They refused. We used to come to this location on occasion, but after this last experience we will stay far away.
