First time trying NY pizza and I didn’t regret my choice! Their slices are so tasty and huge! I took the ricotta one… perfect! The guy who served me was so nice with me. Kinda small inside but other than that, nothing to complain about.

This place was recommended on Reddit. I should have believed. I popped in another pizza place to grab a slice before seeing a play. I should have gone hungry and waited to eat here. Just because a place serves pizza doesn't mean you should eat there. This place might look like other pizza spots but it worth coming here. The spicy honey vodka pizza was cheesy and yummy (not actually spicy) and the barbeque chicken forced me to eat more food than I needed. Great food.

Really good slice of pizza, crust on the pepperoni was perfect if you like a crispy thin crust, some interesting combinations on the slices, will go back.

I finally decided to give this place a try and ordered from Uber Eats. On UE, they have like 7-8 different mirror restaurants with different BOGO offers. I'm not sure why, it kinda makes them look sketchy, but my curiosity finally got the better of me. I got the BOGO Penne a la Vodka, BOGO cheese bread and Sicilian honey vodka and spicy honey pepperoni slices. I'm taking off 1 star because it's obvious they just made my pepperoni slice from an existing grandma slice and I don't think they gave me the vodka slice, but just a normal grandma. Also, the slices were not that fresh... but it was 3 AM. Penne was good, but not a $19 portion! I think they mark it up and then make it BOGO. The cheesy bread was fluffy and hot and great dipped in the extra vodka sauce. Overall, great late night option and I had food for days after spending $40.

Not what I expected with all the high reviews. The pizza has a good taste but, it was very spicy for kids and some adults as it had too much either pepper 🌶 or something very spicy. Second, it was very salty 🧂 for us. It may have been this batch that was not so good but, maybe use less spices and maybe measure the spices or even sample taste your batch before selling it. Sorry for the low stars 🌟.

What happened to the place before La Pizza Italia?! Though the flavor of this pizza is good, the crust is entirely too thick and doughy. Truly disappointing experience, especially when compared to the pizza place before this one.

Ordered uber after a long day, this placed is called “uncommon pasta” online. After an hour of waiting, the driver had cancelled while being at the pick up location. I messaged the second driver for our order where he said the restaurant can’t prepare our order and to cancel. The uber app didn’t allow us to cancel as we had a driver there. Once the third driver cancelled, uber tried to say we get a partial refund. We ended up having to walk out in the freezing cold to ask the restaurant to either cancel it or make our food as they couldn’t give a valid reason as to why they can’t make it. They ended up giving us the food in person so we are still unsure as to why they couldn’t fulfill the uber order as they did it after we went in store after over an hour of waiting for it.

Not sure how they get high review. They gave us a burnt pizza for take out. On sharing feedback over phone, they simply said that their chef cooked the perfect pizza. Even didn't bother to apologize. As a traveller, I rarely found this kind of arrogant attitude.

The meal ordered at 12:34 AM on a Wednesday was cajun tenders and fries with barbeque sauce, utensils and a ginger ale soda. The first thing was that the meal was supposed to be buy one get one free with uber eats and that didn't happen!. On top of that, no utensils were given even though the box was checked to get them with the order. Then the barbeque sauce costs 99c and came in a 2 oz cup that was half full. The cajun chicken, did not taste at all like cajun. It tasted like regular fried batter salt and pepper. The fries were okay, the barbeque sauce tasted okay and the soda was okay. The food just looks like it came from any ordinary chicken spot similar to crown fried chicken. Don't expect chicken similar to Bonchon or Jolibee at this place! Then I tried to look this place up on Google maps after the order, since it is labeled Dave's Korean Fried Chicken under the address 625 9th Ave New York, NY 10036 and apparently it's a pizza spot called La Pizza Italia IT. I'm not sure why there are 2 names, but only one is listed on Google. This is very misleading.

So, so bad. Super salty & oily. We were absolutely starving, so def not in a mood to be picky, but this was inedible. :/ Garlic knots burnt black, literally. This was not the NYC pizza experience we were looking for. :/
