We came from out of town for our second visit to Mocha Lux, and they exceeded expectations. The location is close to several hotels, Times Square and Broadway. We were greeted by the staff and seated without hesitation. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. Mocha Lux presents a stylish and unique decor that you have to experience for yourself. The bartender came over to discuss house specials and take our orders. He came back to see if we were satisfied with our drink choice and offered alternatives. We've visited several establishments in Manhatten and haven't received this level of attention. Mocha is a lil "boujee," but you get your money's worth. Mocha has a wide selection of fine Kosher food and drinks. Our food was served hot and plated to perfection. Check out my pics. The Mocha Lux experience is suitable for dates or family night out. Good food and good times to be had.

Wow, what a experience The food was delicious. Came out right away. Service was to kill so nice and easy !! Very clean and quite open late . Really enjoyed The bang bang chicken is a must. The cocktails were delicious Very, very good ambience Definitely will be back very very soon

Every time I revisit this place, the experience gets better and better! Fabulous food, service, and overall ambiance. 💯 The manager Javiera is super sweet and helpful - her and the other manager Michael are both amazing. 🙌 Definitely try this place out when you’re looking for a fancy burger 🍔, unique drink🍹, or some fun appetizers🍽️!

Great food and atmosphere. A little fancier than the downtown one but they serve the exact same menu. Everything was delicious and we weren't rushed. Only complaint is our server had ADHD and took for every to get us anything or would forget our order and have to come back and take it again. There were people there but the restaurant wasn't very busy. I just think it was the waiter we had... He was nice but all over the place. I'd still go back. Great burgers!

We went to Mocha burger Lux to celebrate two friends’ birthdays and we all had an amazing time! The ambience was great- the decor was very young and hip and vibey. The drinks were delicious and beautiful. Their menu is the Mocha burger menu with huge upgrades. We ordered a ton of food but loved the loaded animal fries and the pulled brisket burger, fungi burger, and the s’mocha burger. Our waiter Austin was also great- he was really nice and flexible with our large group and made sure to take care of all our requests. We loved the lively birthday celebrations with the staff and the birthday song and will definitely be back!

Nice cozy vibe. Food was delicious we had burgers and Nachos. S'mocha was as fun experience and portion size was worth the price. There was some mold by the bathroom sink that looked like it was there a while.

I come in Mocha Burger with my family and we can immediately see the incredible and beautiful design. There’s no wait time so the food came pretty fast. I ordered my burger medium well done, on the inside it wasn’t cooked through. I told the waiter and they cooked it through. Then the steak came and it was good but it was dry. And the dessert wasn’t that great. I could see that not much effort was put into it it was served in jars. Overall, the food was good, service was not that good, and the decorations are amazing.

Really enjoyed this place. I had several non-kosher coworkers visiting from Europe who wanted real American burgers and steaks. Everyone enjoyed and had a great time.

I was seated quickly. Server Jose asked me if I wanted water, and I requested tap. Waited a long time, eventually got the water. I placed an order, which arrived quickly. Food was very nice. Waiter never asked me if I needed anything and did not remove the plate when I was done. After I requested the check I waited again for a long while. Not clear why, but Mr. Jose apparently considered me a nuisance and made pains to convey this message. After this experience I wrote to the restaurant and received no response. It's a shame Mocha does not value customer service. I will not be returning.

Atmosphere is great! The food is mixed. Burgers and appetizers are pretty good. Steaks are not good at all. We got the biggest and most expensive steak, the Tomahawk. It was served warm. It tasted like it came out of the microwave. Deserts were not impressive either, served in jars. The manager did give us a discount on the steak as we were not happy with it. If you want a good burger this is a good place. If you want steak you have to go somewhere else.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was honestly one of the worst I’ve had in a restaurant. From the moment we sat down, the service was already disappointing. Our waiter basically ignored us, never checked on us, and made us feel like we were a burden just for being there. At one point he even made it clear we should “figure it out ourselves” instead of simply helping us. When we tried speaking to the manager, things got even worse. Instead of listening, she responded with pure attitude and basically told us to “go somewhere else” if we weren’t happy. I’ve never seen a manager speak to customers like that. Another server also suggested we go eat at another restaurant. Absolutely unbelievable. The food didn’t make up for it either. The meat arrived completely undercooked — not rare, not even close — more like it had just come straight out of the fridge. Zero flavor, zero effort. For the prices they charge, this is unacceptable. Overall, terrible service, rude staff, and bad food. I genuinely recommend avoiding this place. There are plenty of restaurants where they actually respect their customers and serve proper meals — this is not one of them.

I was so excited to try the new Mocha Burger Lux location for a long-awaited night out with my husband, especially since the original location is one of our favorites. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing short of disappointing. From the start, our server was rude and dismissive. I asked for my usual order with a substitution (something I’ve always been able to do at the other location), but she refused without any courtesy. When I ordered a Coke Zero, she intentionally brought a Diet Coke instead and brushed it off like it was no big deal. The service continued to spiral. Our mains were brought out while we were still working on appetizers, so by the time I got to my burger, it was cold—and worse, it was raw inside, not the medium rare I had requested. At that point, I didn’t even feel comfortable sending it back because the experience had already been so unpleasant. To top it all off, in the middle of our meal the server dropped the check on the table, clearly eager to close out since we were her last customers of the night. This felt incredibly rude and rushed, especially for a place that positions itself as a higher-end dining experience. Overall, this visit was a waste of money and a huge disappointment. Between the poor service, the food issues, and the dismissive attitude, we will not be returning to this location.
