Opinions de Mori Coffee New York
Sweet coffee which I love! I will be back for the raspberry chip latte it was delicious and well made. I also tried my friends strawberry matcha and liked it, even though I’m not a matcha fan. Service was great and our drinks came out quick. It’s a smaller space but if you’re able to grab a table it’s a fun vibe.
Bright and unpretentious spot for matcha drinks. Love the seating options inside and in the back area. Very friendly staff too. They have wifi. Definitely a cozy neighborhood spot to sit down and relax for a little bit.
Cute little coffee shop. Busy on the weekends. Solid drip coffee and plenty of seating. Got the drip coffee and was happy with the purchase.
So lucky to call this my neighborhood coffee shop! So cozy in the winter and an amazing patio in the summer. & The matcha and coffee are both amazing
I got the dalgona iced latte with oat milk, it was EXCEPTIONAL! They poured the hot espresso over the hard caramel pieces on top and it gave it the perfect amount of sweetness. The space was also intimate, but roomy enough. The service was very quick and kind
Fantastic Americano same price as espresso. Flavorful but not too bold. Has mugs for in house enjoyment not just plastic coated paper cups. Thank you for a great cup of coffee, fast service, and a cozy friendly vibe.
This is such a cute local coffee shop that has opened up in the neighborhood. The ambiance is cozy and cute and I love that they have these large windows with barstool seating so you can enjoy your coffee and watch the world outside. It also looks like a nice place where you could work for a few hours. Service was fairly quick and everyone was nice. I got a honey oat milk iced latte and it was really good. It was a good balance of coffee and milk. The coffee was nicely roasted and had a smooth taste.
I stopped by because I was craving a matcha-like drink. It was a weekday afternoon, but there was a line, probably because it was around lunchtime. The vintage and minimalist interior made the wait more enjoyable—there was plenty to admire while waiting. I ordered an iced Dalgona latte and iced matcha, along with a pecan tart and egg tart. The pastries and desserts are sourced from Balthazar Bakery, and you can really taste the quality—they were delicious! It was a short but sweet visit, and I left feeling satisfied. Thank you:)
Mori Coffee is such a gem in the neighborhood — a true hidden oasis that feels both cozy and welcoming. The staff is always so kind and attentive, creating a warm, community-centered vibe from the moment you walk in. The backyard space is absolutely beautiful — a peaceful escape that feels like a secret garden, perfect for catching up with friends, reading a book, or enjoying a slow morning. The coffee, matcha, and teas are thoughtfully prepared and consistently excellent — smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pastries are fresh, delicious, and always beautifully presented — whether you're craving something sweet or more on the savory side, there's always something that hits the spot. A special shoutout to Abby, who goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. She's especially wonderful with younger kids — always warm, patient, and genuinely kind. It's the little things like that that make Mori feel more like a community space than just a café. Mori Coffee is such a lovely addition to the neighborhood — a place that not only serves great drinks and treats, but also fosters a real sense of connection. We’re lucky to have it!
I work near Mori Coffee and I loooove coming here for a morning matcha or afternoon pick me up! The atmosphere is nice and cozy - perfect to do some work or even catch up with friends. Don is always happy to greet me and my coworkers. My favorite drink is the iced strawberry matcha latte!
Such a lovely neighborhood coffee shop—one of the best spots to work from your laptop. Plenty of outlets, comfortable seating, friendly baristas, excellent coffee, fast WiFi, and a clean bathroom. Love this place!
Loved the matcha latte and strawberry matcha latte! So tasty and refreshing. A new favorite spot.
Such a cute coffee shop and they have a beautiful backyard!! Staff was friendly, very attentive and I cannot stress this enough, the backyard was lovely! Perfect spot for a coffee!
What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood - such a hidden gem. Baristas were very kind, matcha was strong and delicious, and outdoor patio and sunroom are gorgeous!
Service - I was sitting here for a few hours and they asked if they could get me some water. Their level of service is next level. Coffee - Dee-lish. My fiancé is very picky and said that this area seemed to be lacking in good spots until we found Mori. We want MOR(I)! The vibes are vibing - there’s the inner cafe to work in, an outdoor space that is cosy backing on to a children’s park, and then a cozy cottage like structure in the back. Highly recommend. With the care and detail the founders have put in this place I know you will not be disappointed. 🫶🏼💗🫶🏼 Note: I have no affiliation with this business I just really appreciate a well run business.
Came on a weekday morning. Amazing atmosphere for productivity. Comfortable seats with back rests and outlets are a banger when it comes to getting work done. The yuzu ginger tea is delightful, appreciate the friendly staff for making this.

Wonderful place to have a great cup of coffee (I always go for a regular cappuccino) or a matcha latte. Have a beautiful backyard to chill with friends or for a quick work. One of my favorite places to go for a coffee with friends (or by myself). The service pretty amazing. FYI: The coffee is medium dark roast, I like it with milk.

Cute little coffee shop. Good for getting work done. They have several flavors for coffees and match. Iced matcha here was good. Will come back to try the iced matcha strawberry latte.
Amazing coffee and matcha. Great vibes - there’s a tent in the back! Nicest owner and team. Don’t sleep on this spot!
Cutie little coffee shop with delicious strawberry matcha latte - upcharge for vegan milks and upcharge for iced (per usual for these parts). Not a single vegan pastry in sight tho :( they have an outdoor area in the back with more seating, which is nice too. Didn’t try the coffee but the sign said they use Stumptown coffee. Would consider higher star rating if there were more inclusive bakery/food options and no upcharge for cruelty free milk alternatives 👍🏻

this is a lovely café with abundant seating. my only critique is the matcha latte. i had high expectations given the reviews of this place, but neither the color nor the flavor was very vibrant or robust. i'll stick to coffee next time i visit.
The butter croissant was amazing; it was my second time to grab it!! Coffee and matcha were also brilliant. One last thing is I always have been there at the wrong time so I never get hojicha ever ... Wishing you have hojicha next time when I go Mori ~~

Amazing service and a great atmosphere, definitely a nice place to study. I ordered a matcha latte, which was okay overall, but it had a slightly chalky, powdery aftertaste. I’m hoping it was just a one-time issue.
