BEST PIZZA. I’ve been to so many pizza places around NYC and this one is consistently delicious and the workers are amazing! It’s also open until 4am which is a true blessing.
Ordered the grilled chicken Cesar salad today for lunch. WOW! So delicious. The grilled chicken was so flavorful that I didn’t even need to add the Cesar dressing that came on the side.
Thank you to these guys!!!! Was starving after the Oasis concert this last weekend and my phone died while I was trying to find my way back to my hotel. These guys let me charge my phone behind the counter so I could find my way back to the hotel. After my phone was charged, I asked if I could buy pizza when they were about to close. They cut me a deal on a variety of pizza slices - stayed open a little later to make sure I got my pizza warmed up, got my phone charged and waited until the other guests there gave me directions. Their pizza was outstanding and they were SO KIND!! To the men behind the counter, bravissimo aka EXCELLENT and appreciative of your DELICIOUS pizza and hospitality!! THANK YOU AGAIN!
Romano pizza has changed my life. This is not only the best pizza I’ve had in New York, they have amazing toppings, and they are always open when you need them the most. They are lovely people and I could not recommend Romano enough!!!
Keep on, Romano Pizza! I enjoyed a tasty, pleasant dine-in experience here a couple months ago. First, the location is awesome, situated in the vibrant, hip, bustling Kip’s Bay neighborhood of NY, and then Romano being on a corner, looking out at an energizing 3rd Avenue. It was awesome to be able to savor some slices while taking in the hustle of the city! So, for the slices! Well, let’s just say when it comes to NY pizza, at least in my opinion, it’s gotta satisfy: (1) crunchy crust, and (2) sweet, quality red sauce. Romano excelled in both! Furthermore, the staff were super chill and hardworking. And they do have a bathroom on site (i know right, in Manhattan, thank goodness!). Go today and experience a quality time for yourself!
I had a wonderful time at this charming pizzeria! The atmosphere is both nice and cozy, and the staff are exceptionally polite. I couldn't resist trying their Caesar salad pizza, and it was an absolute delight—a perfect blend of flavors. Highly recommended for a warm and tasty dining experience! NY💙
Very good thin crust pizza with great crispy yet chewy crust. They have over 20+ options and of the 6+ we have tried, all of them are pretty good. They have a decent amount of indoor seating and have good prices (all slices under $5). They also have calzones, salads, pasta, subs, desserts, soda and other drinks. Our favorite slices are the supreme, margherita and the bocca. Have been here multiple times.
Decided to stop by here. I saw how their regular slice was $3, and their Sicilian slice was $3.75. I liked how they had a lot of topping options for their slices, but I decided to go with a regular cheese slice and a regular Sicilian slice. I liked how fresh their pizza was and how big of a slice it was. Usually, the Sicilian slices have a similar amount of cheese to match the amount of dough, but to me, it felt like there was less cheese than usual. I would give the staff a 5, the regular slice a 5, and the Sicilian slice a 4. Overall, it's a pretty good spot, and I would recommend going here if you're looking for something a bit different from the dollar slices.
I’ve been a regular customer at this pizzeria for years and spend hundreds of dollars here every month. Unfortunately, today showed me they don’t value loyal customers at all. I ordered a pasta slice for my baby. He accidentally dropped it before he even had a chance to eat it. I immediately went back inside, ordered another pasta slice, and politely asked if they could replace the dropped one as a courtesy, considering I’m a long-time customer. The cashier/manager with a hat, Kinny (maybe he gave me a fake name), flat-out refused and said, with an attitude, that it “didn’t drop in the store,” as if that even matters. The look and tone made it clear there was zero interest in customer service or basic human understanding—especially involving a baby. This wasn’t about the money; it was about respect and how customers are treated. Clearly, they don’t care about regular customers or providing decent service. I won’t be coming back. Plenty of other places in the neighborhood understand what customer service actually means.
If I could give this pizza location 0 stars I would. First let’s discuss the customer service or lack thereof. I came from Physical therapy one day and said let me stop in and get some lunch after… the worst experience ever. I order two grandma square pizza’s and then grab a can soda. When I asked the young Hispanic male cashier how much he said $15.00 I said what did I order? He then repeats the two grandma slices and then I placed thee can soda on the counter, he states the can soda is 2.50 I said politely oh ok that’s ok I’ll just take the two slices he sucks his teeth and blows this breathe as if to say I’m inconveniencing him or annoying him. I asked if he was ok… him and other worker behind the counter starts to speak Spanish…. Idc about your personal feelings or attitude… you are at work and I am a paying customer…I sat there as a black female, working for a few while I eat and could see and hear the difference in interactions with other White male and female patrons. I would not recommend spending your money here … or anywhere it or you are not appreciated. I would also encourage the owner to re-train all staff on customer service etiquette to all patrons not just ones of a specific race! …trust, it goes a long way!!!! “People may not remember what you said or even what you did… but they will always remember how you made them feel”!!! ~Maya Angelou
