Opinions de Naruto Ramen New York
Food had taste, the extra noodles were more than what I was expecting but we ate all of it!!
Great customer service and had an amazing time!
Wow! What an incredible experience! The atmosphere is super cozy and welcoming. The staff is absolutely outstanding and so friendly. We loved it. And the ramen quality? Simply impressive. According to my kids: “The best ramen we’ve ever had in our lives!” Every time we come back to NYC, we’ll definitely be going to Naruto Ramen. 10!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Naruto Ramen is in a great location, though it has very limited seating. It honestly feels just like being in Japan! There’s a waiting list outside where you have to write your name down on a paper, we waited about 10-15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. The experience wasn't disappointing because the staff was accommodating from the start. It’s very entertaining because they cook the food right in front of you! It’s definitely a busy spot, but I can see why people love it. We ordered the karaage and the Naruto ramen, and both were honestly worth it.
Yeni was attentive and gracious, setting a welcoming tone right from the start. The miso vegetable ramen was comforting and full of flavor, while the fried chicken wings had a unique twist that made them stand out. The shrimp ramen was outstanding, spicy and tangy at the same time, with the veggie gyoza and edamame rounding out the meal perfectly. If you enjoy cozy hole in the wall spots with freshly prepared ramen and pho, Naruto in New York City is well worth a visit.
It's a warm and small environment. The food is flavorful and the waiters are very nice. I do not recommend bringing a lot of people as it is a bit of a cramped space (3 is fine). But this is how some ramen spots in Japan are and appreciate it being a small place. I had the Naruto Ramen, hence the name of the restaurant. The paintings on the wall are anime themed and is a fun place to go for a reasonable price.
Went in for lunch shortly after they had opened. Before going here I had been to the Guggenheim museum and it was raining so some hot ramen seemed perfect. I had some veggie Gyoza and the Naruto ramen. I like it simple. I had not noticed that there was a lunch special for that so the waiter just told me there was an offer on that and set me up. Very kind very helpful and honest. AWESOME! You can see your food getting made. It is a small but quick serving restaurant and very kind and nice staff. Food was nice and piping hot as it should be when getting delicious ramen and it was very tasty. Loved it. Nice and clean and the staff quickly clear past guests when they leave so it was clean, tidy and welcoming to eat there. Can highly recommend for your Ramen cravings! Well done Naruto.
Date of visit: 10/11/25 Been going here for years, but hadn't had the time to make a review. This is a Japanese style Ramen restaurant with some dumplings, fried rice selection. Space is very limited and tight. Mostly counter seating, and a 2 seater by the window. Do not come in large groups. Prefer 2 people, 3 people max. Lines and wait can get a bit long especially during winter. Overall, good quality ramen, for the price it's not bad. 100% recommend. Hard to find parking at times, especially during weekdays. Weekends are better.
12/10!!! I ordered the katsu curry and rice. The chicken katsu was SCRUMPTIOUS, it was everything — crispy on the outside and chewy and tender in the inside. It pairs so well with the rice and curry. Serving was huge too (the photos don’t do it justice). The hostess was also very nice and welcoming. 100% recommended to try!
Counter style ramen place. They cook everything in front of you. We went during a heat wave. We were all sweaty before and after we ate. There were no regrets. The place is really cramped though, nothing to do about that, but just a heads up for those who have never been here before. Pretty pricey for ramen though.
Curry ramen is very delicious but don’t order if you’re wearing a white shirt :) Prices are solid and great value. Ramen comes out within 10min. You can’t go wrong with the basic Naruto ramen. They do have vegetarian ramen here. First come first serve, your entire party has to be there to be seated. There’s a clipboard + paper for you to write your name and party size on. Was very busy at 8pm Friday but not a long wait, empty around 9:30pm.
Best Ramen in NYC! Delicious, consistent, great customer service. Fried rice is addictive! With the wait!
Highly recommend the bao bun apps. Ramen was solid too. Enjoyed the anime music playing in the background as well as the overall vibe of the spot. The wait for a seat can be rough so probably plan to arrive earlier
It’s crazy to say but I’ve gone here a few times and never get the ramen. I enjoy the chicken katsu curry. They definitely give an excess amount of white rice compared to chicken. But I really love the salad it comes with. The takoyaki is also nice, but has a strong ginger flavor (which I don’t mind as a ginger lover).
Small space where it's just like a bar where the chefs cook right in front of you and give you the meal basically right off the stove. It's very tiny so it's meant to be a quick bite of ramen where y…

They got good ramen. Staff is friendly. I like the broth a lot. The food is really good and everyone is nice. I feel they have good prices. It's a relaxing spot as well.

I’d say I had a pretty good experience overall. I’d rate the food a 3/5. I ordered the tom yum ramen, which comes with shrimp. Honestly, the shrimp didn’t have much flavor and there were only about three pieces. That said, the broth was bomb. Mine was spicy, so if you’re not into heat, this might not be the dish for you—but it definitely packed a lot of flavor. I also tried my boyfriend’s ramen, the chicken cutlet curry ramen (the third dish). The chicken was delicious—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I wasn’t a fan of the broth though; it just wasn’t for me. If you like curry, this is definitely the meal for you. Just a heads-up, the broth is spicy as well. The dish in the middle was Sura Tan, which was my boyfriend’s daughter’s choice. She really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5. She was extremely happy with her decision. The service was a 5/5. The waiter was really nice, and they cook the food right in front of you, which was super cool to watch. The atmosphere is also a 5/5—you truly get the full Naruto experience while dining there. Overall, I’d give the experience a 3/5, mainly because we were a party of three and waited over an hour to be seated since it was packed on a Saturday night. Even when people got up to leave, seating still took a while to move. I’d definitely recommend coming on a weekday, or going solo or with just one other person 😭😅. Also, my food just wasn’t a 100% hit for me.
I always come here for lunch and usually this place has the best food, however I came in at my usual time and ordered the lunch special Naruto Ramen additional spicy with the gyoza. Now understandably they were busy and I don't mind. I can wait I had a seat as soon as I came in, ordered my food and waited. My Ramen came out first and usually the gyoza follows not to far but 20 minutes in after I finished eating my soup it never arrives. Nobody apologizes for the wait, mind you I can wait but my lunch period is almost over at this point and I need to go back to work. I tell the waitress working 12/12 between 1200-1230 I am ready to pay but remove the gyoza she proceeds to hand me the pay pad with the lunch special price. When I repeat that I am not paying the lunch special only the Ramen she questions and says it's coming. I repeat that I need to go and I can not wait. She proceeds to take it out of the pay and as I pay she scoffs that I didnt tip mind you I wasn't happy at that point. She tells the guys cooking I am not getting the gyoza and he questions why and I proceed to answer that I can not stay any longer. No apology or acknowledgement of the situation from her part at all. The cooks I have no problem but she never came to check in on me. Mind you I already had a previous interaction with her before but I held my tongue but a second time she is still like this anytime I come in and I see her working I will walk out even if it's empty, or not busy I didnt like her service twice now. The cooks are fantastic no problem with them just her. December 12, between 12- 12:30pm.

The flavor isn’t the best, but it’s not the worst either. They cook in front of you, and it’s always packed. The ramen bowl is a good portion. It’s not the best ramen, but it’s okay. The noodles aren’t the best or the most authentic. The gyoza are frozen, not freshly made. Everything seems pre-packaged and just heated before serving. Nothing special. Friendly service. The people cooking are very kind and open for conversation! The octopus balls are not it, the piece is so small.
They charging 17 dollars for a Miso Soup, where they have reduce the size of the portions, the meat is slice thin. It's like cold cuts from a deli. \nThere's no reason to do so for the price.
Second failure in a week. And they don't answer the phone, AT ALL. ordered an hour ago through grubhub and then driver was picking up and order canceled. I called about 15 times because online it seemed order was made (as time was extended). No one answers. About a week ago I tried to call and order pick up. We wasted all of our time picking food for 6 people and they won't answer the phone.
