Opinions de Nolita Pizza New York
Pizza is amazing. True NY style pizza. It hurt my pockets for 3 slices for $20, however it was totally worth it. Will come back when I’m in the neighborhood.
Came in for a slice while visiting the city. What a great place! The food and atmosphere were both incredible. Really enjoyed the slice of pepperoni. I will see you next time!
Amazing pizza, amazing customer service. This was the first pizza joint we popped into upon landing in NY from CA. We were obsessed and walked over to Nolita 3/4 nights we were here (ordered a whole pie for delivery the 4th night we didn’t go in physically!) The customer service was excellent and Tony even wrapped a whole pie into individual slices for us to bring home to share with our family. Walking to Nolita, grabbing a couple slices after walking around the city all day is one of the most memorable parts of our trip! We were obsessed with the Regina Napoletana and will never eat our pizza without hot honey again! The staff and food have left a lasting impression on my family 🫶🏼
The pizza here is absolutely top-notch — fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and amazing flavor in every bite. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and inviting, a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down with friends. Definitely a place worth coming back to! 🍕🔥
This is one of the best pizzas you can have. They have great options including home-made Napolitana. It is not fine dining but it's certainly a must try in little Italy.
Best pizza I’ve ever had. A real pizza eater would know and understand. This is not a trend, this is the pizza you can smell from half a block away. It hits your frontal lobe before you even make a decision to want to head in. Perfect balance of taste and crunch, and very well priced. I can’t believe that I never had this before. Thank God for this experience, oh yeah, they treat you with so much respect, it makes you not even want to try anywhere else. GODSEND!
This is very much a pick-up-and-go place, not a restaurant. There are tables to eat at on the side walk and inside but very basic - the star of the show is the actual pizza. Beautiful crust with that New York crunch. Toppings are measured and balanced and really good quality for a place that is really reasonably priced for New York. $32 for a monster pizza that fed 4 easily! Owner/manager was a good sort too.
Great option for square or grandma-style slices; they are on the saucier side with a bit of sweetness if that’s how you prefer your pizza sauce; Will always make a visit whenever I find myself in Manhattan;
Pizza is spectacular but what really puts this place over the top was ordering for 3 families with kids in a tight space and how patient and accommodating the counter service was. Moving from the city to westchester and coming in for a day of playing tourist we were thrilled we chose to eat lunch here, just blows anything you get in westchester out of the water.
Wow! Amazing pizza. The crunch is perfect. The house made marinara is incredible. And the girl working the counter was sweet as could be. Definitely going to return next time I'm in the city.
This place rocks. Don’t let the low review count fool you - their prior google listing with 6k+ reviews got taken down apparently. Love the crust. Super crispy and flaky, light and delicious. Sauce could be a bit sweeter but that’s my personal opinion. Everything made from scratch. Great price point. Definitely check it out
The best pizza EVER! I am gluten free and it was so amazing. The owner was so sweet and welcoming and loved the vibe. Definitely will be coming back!!
The pizza was really good — fresh and flavorful, classic New York style. The slice options were a bit limited and the bathroom could use more cleaning, but overall it was a solid experience. I’d still come back for the taste!
We came to NYC for vacations and we were walking near the area and decide to enter to order a pizza. We order the big peperonni one since we were 4. I add some honey to my slice and took a bite. It was the best pizza bite I have ever taste in my life!!. My stepfather was really surprised by the taste too. The sauce was so fresh and the dough was crispy and easy to eat. The cheese was hot and delicious and the peperonni was in the perfect state not to crispy but really well done. BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD, HOPE TO EAT THERE AGAIN WHEN I RETURN TO NYC!!
Easily might be the best pizza in my life! We tried 4 different slices and all of them were delicious, but vodka burrata - is my favorite. The place looks unpretentious outside but it’s a must visit! The service was great too
My son had pepperoni I had the vodka and the fresh burrata. They were delicious and I took home a sausage and peppers pasta for my aunt and she loved it. Everything was delicious I will definitely be back and the service was amazing as well.
Cute little place but the pizza is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! So delicious! By far the best food we had while in NYC. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!
An amazing place with a great vibe. The slices are absolutely delicious and well portioned. They have a big variety of pizza and each one is more delicious then the next.It was my first time trying this place and definitely won’t be my last.Try this place when you’re nearby you won’t regret it!
If you’re in the Village and craving a real New York slice, Nolita Pizza is an absolute must. They quite possibly have the best slice in NYC , perfectly crisp crust, great fold, amazing sauce-to-cheese ratio, and always fresh. Every bite tastes like classic New York done right. What really sets them apart though is the people. The staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and super accommodating. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or ordering for a group, they treat you like a regular. In a city full of pizza spots, Nolita Pizza stands out. Highly recommend. 🍕
Finding the best slice of pizza is a religion in this city. And if you are in SoHo I recommend dropping by this no frills eatery. They sell by the pizza slice in both thick and thin crust in very generous portions! I had the vodka pizza which is thin slice with a sublime vodka tomato sauce . It came straight out of the oven and I have to say it is one of the best slices of pizza I have ever had. The prices are absolute value and the service is very friendly! Will be back when I’m in the neighbourhood
THE ABSOLUTE BEST! if i could give it 100 stars i would. The pizza had fabulous undercarriage and tasted so scrumptious. Seriously best nyc pizza ive had. We bought and then went back for seconds right after!! Tony and the staff are wonderful people and so kind. They care about their food and customers! Couldn’t recommend enough!!
One of the Best Pizza Spots in Town! If you’re craving top-tier pizza, this place is a must-visit. The sauce is fresh and flavorful, the cheese is rich and perfectly melty, and the crust is just right—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Toppings are high-quality and generously portioned, whether you go for a classic Margherita or a fully loaded pie. Every bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell they use only the best ingredients. Add in the friendly service and cozy atmosphere, and you’ve got a pizza experience that’s hard to beat. Easily one of the best in the city—highly recommend!
Came here after visiting a museum close by. It was a late night on a Sunday and was empty so seating wasn't an issue. Staff were all friendly and pizza was made the way I prefer. Enough crust for crunch, not too thin or thick just right, and the sauce and cheese ratio on the slice was made perfectly. Hit the spot.
Nolita Pizza is a fantastic alternative to Prince St Pizza. It's more affordable, less crowded, and has ample seating. The sauce is delicious and comparable in quality. One of the highlights is their spicy pepperoni, which is generously topped on the pizzas, offering a perfect balance of spice and flavor. The pepperoni is crispy around the edges and pairs exceptionally well with the rich tomato sauce and gooey cheese. Additionally, they offer hot honey as a free complementary condiment, which adds a delightful sweetness to the spice of the pepperoni. Highly recommend!
Our first real slice of New York pizza and this did not disappoint!! Authentic taste and can taste the real ingredients used. We purchased a full pizza half cheese half pepperoni. We also got a slice of the margherita and vodka pie to split. They have Mike's hot honey available to drizzle to your hearts content as well as the pepper and Parmesan cheese. I would definitely come back my next trip for another slice of this perfection!
I went here spontaneously in the morning as I felt a trip to New York is not complete without a slice. They were still opening up when I arrived and heating up the oven. When the clock hit 11, I could place my order and I went for a good old cheese slice. It was heated up quickly and tasted good. Great place for a quick pizza break when you're in the area.
Managed a quick trip during a holiday weekend and couldn’t have been happier with the pizza! This is the pizza you want when you want NY pizza…. Fabulous crust, tasty sauce and cheese, good balance of toppings, large slice. That of course comes along with the NY experience, where the (some) staff appear bothered to help and the bathroom is dirty with a broken soap dispenser. But we’re here for the pizza, aren’t we?
What a great pizza! This place is amazing, minimalist and with tables inside to allow you to enjoy the fantastic pizza they make. You can have it by the slice or order a big one to share. Crust is thin and delicious and ingredients fresh and tasty. 100% approved by Italian pizza lover!
A little hole in the wall spot that’s definitely worth a try. The thicker slices looked really good so we tried the pepperoni and the grandma style. The grandma style was insanely good! It was really thick but the crust held everything together well. The sauce was out of this world; extremely fresh and rich in tomato flavor. Definitely give this place a try.
We visited as part of a walking food tour of Little Italy, New York. It's a small restaurant with limited seating. I would say it is PERFECT for carry out because we have never had pizza so HOT. We weren't rushing and waited until everyone had their slices before we tried it. Even toward the last few bites, I was blowing on it. If you carried it home it would be perfecto! We would definitely visit again.
First time in NYC so obviously I had to try some pizza. Absolutely delicious! Glad I took time to check the reviews of a few places before ordering, Nolita is definitely a gem! Tried a slice of White and Marg. I highly recommend both, but really enjoyed the sauce on the Marg. Cheese to sauce ratio was perfect, and the crust had just the right amount of crunch to it.
Found this place from our tour guide Jon yesterday. We were full so didn’t go. After going to the Whitney Museum tonight we opted to trek 30 minutes to Nolita Pizza and we were not disappointed. We had a freshly-baked half Margarita and Half Pepperoni delivered fresh by Barry. Wow crust is thin and crunchy. The cheese and the rest of the pie just melt in your mouth. Best $30 dinner in NYC! What makes our visit even more memorable is the resident Spotify DJ Barry with his tunes that really liven the dinner atmosphere. He takes request too! When everyone joined in to Sweet Carolina, it just made our highlight wheel of our NYC trip! Come here and eat the pizza fresh. You will have a good time and a great meal. Thanks Barry!
AMAZING PIZZA. If you are in the area, try this pizza, if you’re not, make a trip out! I regret not eating more slices. There are many slice options to choose from and they all had the perfect flavor and texture. The prices are great. The establishment has a large dining area with seating. I have only great things to say about Nolita Pizza, check them out!
BANGINNNNN 🍕💥🤤 Grabbed some slices after a show @ The Bowery Ballroom - quintessential Manhattan late-night pizza spot. Kitchen staff were the sweetest guys. Crispy crust, perfectly balanced toppings. Heaps of 'roni! All the extras like oregano / parmesan in the dining area, including Mike's Hot Honey. Will definitely be returning!
Best Pizza spot hands down! I went to the famous pizza spots and none came close to Nolita Pizza. The Fresh Mozzarella Pizza, Pepperoni, Cheese were all amazing especially the under carriage of the slices. I recommend this spot to the locals or anybody coming out of town. The Service was just as good as the food. The place was picked up and up to par.
Perfect little spot after the “winter storm”with the best sauce and authentic Italian pizza! Loved the staff (owner?) and the positive energy! 🇮🇹
Nolita Pizza has been our go-to spot since 2024, and it never disappoints! I ordered the spicy pepperoni Sicilian slice and topped it with hot honey—absolutely delicious with that perfect balance of heat and sweetness. My partner had the Margherita Sicilian slice with garlic and a drizzle of hot honey, and it was just as amazing. The crust is always perfectly crispy, and the flavors are spot on. We come here almost once a month and it’s consistently top-tier. Highly recommend for anyone who loves bold, flavorful pizza!
Honestly some of the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life. This is the kind of New York style pizza you can't get back in California. The buratta slice with the hot honey, absolutely life changing. Was in NY for 5 days and went here twice it was that good. Must, must check them out if you get the chance.
Best Pizza I had in NYC. It is in little Italy really small location. They also have salads and calzones etc on the menu. Would eagerly return here.
Recommended to us by the guys at the NOAH store. They were right! Pizza was on point - thin crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Chicken parm hoagie was steaming hot with tons of chicken and cheese. Caesar salad was basic but filled to the brim with ingredients. Highly recommend their pies!
Thin crust perfection with a smile! It’s a fantastic spot for thin crust pizza lovers. The pizzas are light, crispy, and full of flavour, easily among the best in Little Italy. What makes the experience even better is the friendly and welcoming customer service. Staff are warm, quick, and genuinely caring. A must-visit for great pizza and good vibes.
After waiting nearly an hour and being thoroughly disappointed at Prince Street Pizza right down the street, we walked over to Nolita Pizza and immediately got what we were looking for. Not much to overthink here: just a damn good slice. Well cooked, no flop, properly balanced and exactly what New York pizza should be. The owner is behind the counter taking orders and making pies and the wait was about 10 minutes. No hype, no circus, just good pizza done right.
I was actually going through little italy for another restaurant but the smell brought me in. A quaint little unassuming place with the atmosphere of a pizzeria in italy is often some of the best pizza you can find and I had to check it out. The margarita had just come out as it turns out and I made quick work of it at a small table outside. It's got that thin foldable crust you want with the perfect little roll of grease from quality fresh mozzarella. It doesn't get much better than this for the cost believe me. I got to dinner with my friends and just pretended I was famished but really the meal I got wasn't even as good as that slice from here but nobody has to know about that but me and Nolita ha!
My first time in New York on a business trip and just googled pizza places near our location and picked the one with the best ratings. Nolita Pizza didn’t disappoint. The ambiance was exactly what I was expecting for a pizza place in NYC, the service was quick and friendly, and the pizza tasted phenomenal. If I lived in the city, this would definitely be one of my regular places to go!
I stopped by this little slice of heaven on a weeknight after an event, around 8:30 or 9 p.m. The place wasn’t too crowded, which was perfect. I ordered at the counter, and the staff was incredibly friendly — she told me to grab a seat, and she’d bring the pizza over once it was ready. The menu had several tempting options, but I went with two slices: a deep-dish square spicy pepperoni and a burrata with basil slice. The burrata came out first, and it was absolutely divine — the thin, crispy crust topped generously with fresh burrata, olive oil, and basil. The ingredients tasted so fresh that it truly elevated the whole experience. I’d highly recommend this one — you don’t often find burrata pizza done this well. Next came the deep-dish spicy pepperoni, which was massive and indulgent. The slice was thick, heavy, and loaded with spicy, flavorful pepperoni — they definitely didn’t skimp on toppings. One slice alone would’ve been enough, but it was so good I couldn’t resist finishing both. By the end, I was stuffed but completely satisfied. The best part? The whole meal cost just $11 including tax, which felt like a steal for the quality. It’s a cozy, affordable, and genuinely delicious spot — highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back!
Our food guide brought us here as part of the food tour and we really enjoyed the pizza. The crust is firm and tasty and everything tasted fresh. Like a lot of places in New York City, it is small and crowded so it can be very busy. Bonus points for all the celebrity photos. This is definitely someplace We’d go back to eat again!
Charming place where the folks serve you over a small counter. Pizza looked very ordinary until I tried it and got thrilled - really crispy but airy dough which is not dry as you chew on it. Toppings are really tasty as well. Very big difference between the regular and square slices - regular is more crispy while the square is airy but still light! One warning, the spicy pepperoni (square) is really spicy! there is limited seating inside and even less outside but easy to take to go
Nolita Pizza is one of my absolute favorites whenever I visit my family in New York from Miami. The slices are always fresh, flavorful, and true New York style pizza at its best. The crust is perfect, the cheese is delicious, and every bite feels authentic. Last time I ordered a whole pie! This spot never disappoints and is a must if you are craving real New York pizza. Totally recommended.
From the very first bite, Nolita Pizza felt like a place at the top ranks of my New York pizza journey. It’s as if the baker here hasn’t taken a day off in years, living and breathing pizza every single day. The dedication shows in the dough, the sauce, the perfect bake – a slice that carries both tradition and passion. What impressed me most was the loyalty to regulars. You can sense that long-time customers are treated with genuine care, as if they’re part of the family. This authenticity, combined with the unforgettable flavor, puts Nolita Pizza in one of the leading spots of my Ninja Turtles Pizza Challenge.
This is NYC. Sure, you can go to Joe's or Lombardi's, and they're good, but this place is quentissential NYC. By far the best pizza I've had in the city. Tony is the best. I came with the family 2 years ago, and he remembered me, and asked about my children. He's an owner who genuinely cares about his customers. I recommend the spicy pepperoni (with some hot honey), or the Margherita. Sweet sauce, thin crispy crust. The best authentic pizza place in NYC hands down. Edit: We came back - summer this time. I said it before, and I will continue to say it: Nolita Pizza is THE BEST pizza in the city. Fantastic food, Amazing owner, great location. This place is a MUST VISIT.
No complaints, excellent NY style pizza which you can order by the slice. This place was recommended to us by a local and did not disappoint! Plain cheese is a staple, but the vodka sauce one is a nice change. The pasta is very good as well. The dining area is not too big and most people were doing take out.
The Margherita pizza was legit—classic New York slice with a crisp crust, fresh sauce, and gooey mozzarella. Totally hit the spot. Would’ve been a 5-star experience, but the indoor seating area was pretty dirty, which took away from the vibe a bit. Still, if you’re in the area and craving a solid slice, it’s worth a stop.
1st day in NYC, couldn’t eat Prince Street pizza since it was cash only - I quickly looked up Nolita’s and it didn’t disappoint. Exactly what I imagined when I thought of a NY slice. Thin, crunchy, and simply delicious. $5 for a large slice that they heat up after you order and comes out quickly. Would definitely come back next time.
I walked into Nolita Pizza genuinely prepared for that glorious, New York slice redemption. Instead, I got an experience that was aggressively basic. I ordered a two-slice lineup—Pepperoni, and the highly anticipated Burrata—and they both shared the same two fatal flaws: oil and apathy. I had heard whispers about the legendary Nolita crust, but what arrived was less "legendary" and more "lethargic." It was the pizza equivalent of an indifferent handshake. The sheer volume of oil on these slices was frankly daunting. They were so oily, I considered holding a rag to my face after every bite. Verdict: It's perfectly fine, but when you're in New York, "perfectly fine" is just a polite way of saying "underwhelming." Update: I will absolutely give you guys more than another chance…especially after such a thoughtful response from you. 👏🏻
Tried Nolita Pizza and honestly, it was just alright. The pizza itself wasn’t bad, but the sauce wasn’t really saucing – could’ve used a little more flavor. I also felt like they could’ve left the pie in the oven just a bit longer to really crisp it up. The atmosphere was a little dry no music, so you mostly just hear everyone’s conversations. A little background music could go a long way in making the vibe better. Customer service was okay, but could definitely be warmer. All in all, it’s not a bad spot, just has room for improvement.
We got back in town very late after a little road trip. We were tired and hungry so stopped to get a large pie to go. We specifically pulled over to locate a place close by, with good reviews. Upset to find it was burnt. - And tasted burnt so it wasn't edible. Good thing we had our dog with us who loves any pizza and gobbled down 2 slices. Waste of time and money.
