Normally, I don’t write reviews myself, but I couldn’t help with the amazing food, service, and atmosphere this place presented! Our food was delivered fast after we ordered our food. The new dish called the “Pink OG” and “The Bell” was amazing , and the waiter was fantastic. The desert was fantastic. Thank you Maria for the awesome service you gave us, it was fantastic! We appreciate the water you delivered us too haha. Definitely recommend this place, it is worth every buck! Best food ever.

I love going to pink taco. I went to the one in Times Square is four times within the last year on different occasions. Every time I go everything is always perfect. The service is great the people there are nice and I always have a good time and always enjoy myself. The last time I went was for restaurant week and I think it’s absolutely a must the server and managers I had Krishna and Bree, they were super nice and welcoming from when I first got there until I left. The manager was making rounds and making sure everyone was good at different tables and the server I had was informative funny and she was very relatable. I would definitely go back because the food was really great one of the best desserts that I had was the churro and ice cream and it’s a 10 out of 10 make sure you go get it. you will not be disappointed for restaurant week I had the corn for an appetizer, main dish was tacos which was so good ( could have had a pinch more of seasoning but that’s just me ). These tacos even stayed crispy when I heated it up in the air fryer when I got home and of course, as you know, the churro for dessert, prices were decent food was great. I definitely will be back.

This place was absolutely amazing. The food was good. Birria Tacos and the Mahi Mahi tacos is what my boyfriend and I got. The Cadillac drink and the flight was also really tasty. Kevin had absolutely great customer service. He met every need and walked us through the menu. He even made recommendations based on the most popular choices. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and he made sure we didn’t leave without trying the Pink Fried Icecream. If you can ask for Kevin’s section I would highly recommend him.

Found the best taco Tuesday deal in midtown Manhattan, easily. The PINK TACO tasted great and is just $4 on Tuesday along with several others, including Carnitas, Barbacoa, al pastor, beef and cauliflower. The OG PINK has chicken tinga, pickled red onion, shredded iceberg, avocado salsa, jack cheese, on a crispy pink corn tortilla.

Our server was very attentive, our food and drinks came out quickly, and the decor and wall art were a complete vibe with plenty of Photo ops. The cocktails were really good.

My sister and I booked this place for NYE - we’d come from Australia and options to see the ball drop were pretty limited & we didn’t know what was good. A few reviews on here scared us - talk of no seating and limited food - but oh my goodness, this was the single best NYE we have ever had. They had taken on board every piece of feedback given in previous years; you arrived and got a table downstairs with appetisers passed around and table service for every drink you could imagine. Then upstairs was a stand up & live DJ vibe with a buffet and bar. Around 12, you could leave for a perfect ball view and come back for more drinks following. Every single staff member was beyond lovely and did an amazing job, the vibes were immaculate, and we made some gorgeous friends with people around us. If we find ourselves in this part of the world for NYE again we’d certainly be back here x

Kevin was AMAZING, he provided me & my sister in law excellent customer service. Without asking he went over the menu with us into details. He was very helpful in assisting us make a decision on our drinks, and without a doubt the “ something pink” was the best choice of drinks, afterwards we got a “margarita flight” which was also amazing. Drinks were 10/10, and Kevin was 1000/10! Thank you Kevin, for making our experience at pink taco easy and amazing!

The hostess, Reina, was excellent. My wife can’t eat gluten dairy or soy so she pulled out the binder and went through what she could and couldn’t eat. There were several options she could have and we loved every thing we ate. I had the og pink tacos and she had the carnitas. The queso was a stringy queso, not a dip. It was delicious but was not what I was expecting.

Nice late night spot to hang. They have happy hour at the bar only sunday thru Thurs 9pm to close. Great vibe and food was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken drummettes. The tacos were great too. Not losing here!

Came here around 10:00 pm to experience this place. The food was amazing. I had the fried lobster taco with avocado. To die for if you love fried seafood. The espresso drink was very tasty and it woke me up from a long day at work. For dessert I had the fried ice cream with Fruity Pebbles. I highly recommend this place.

1st time here, and it was a great experience. Right in the middle of Time Square, with a small wait of 20 mins. The view is amazing, nice, big windows to the outside, great place to eat this great food, have a beer and people watch. I am always wary of trying Mexican food, being that I live in San Antonio and eat a lot of that food, but this was a different flavor and definitely a different experience. I started off with the chicken nachos and was not disappointed. I am used to a plate with 10 chips with beans, meat, and cheese, and this is not the case. Plenty of chips, cheese, chicken, sour cream, Pico, and jalapeños. The cheese was great, the chicken flavorful and overall, great!! I then ordered the carnitas, also Great! Lots of flavorful meat, with those pink onions, so good. The meat was very tender and full of flavor. I washed this down with a couple of Modelos. Wait staff was very attentive, quick, and friendly. Come check this place out and try for yourself, and as always, my 2 cents.

Went here with 3 others before a comedy show. It was great! We were seated at the downstairs bar and the bartenders were super friendly. My boyfriend wanted a specific drink that they were out of but the bartender made it happen somehow and really went out of his way. The food wasn’t AMAZING but it wasn’t bad for Times Square. I got the Lobster Enchiladas which were interesting. They were nice and creamy and I liked the fusion flavors. Definitely would come back here if I ever found myself in Times Square again.

Came in Tuesday afterwork. Can't beat $4 tacos and the best elote. Happy hour until 6p then at 9p. Ask for the bartender named Delicious Morgan...omg! Best margarita ever!

Outstanding vibe, meals and cocktails. Highly recommending the pink tacos and the cucumber and cilantro margaritas! Especially delighted with service from our waitress Selina who was on point in all aspects. We loved our corner booth and the whole experience was outstanding. After a bad experience at a different restaurant in times Square, pink taco surpassed our expectation. I was looking for somewhere with great drinks and great food and this place delivered. Not only was the food amazing the staff was the best. Our waitress was super attentive throughout our experience. A big shout out to the manager Roger 🙌 . He came to our table introduced himself, and definitely made our night! I highly recommend this place.

Every Night…Late Night…Pink Taco… The Atmosphere was great, decor superb and many options for private dining if needed. There was a Live DJ as well which was the perfect touch! She had me moving to the beats and was ready to dance! I am not a margarita fan, but their bartender made the perfect one! It was one of the best I’ve ever had, not too sweet and nice and tangy! Again I’m not a Taco fan either but I was invited to an event here and they won me over. The tacos were quite tasty, the quesadillas sublime and the nachos-so fresh and crisp along with the guac was totally yummy! I definitely will be back for Tacos and may even plan a themed event there for my next birthday celebration. As for the Staff- they are excellent too, very welcoming and attentive to your needs. My server was Brianna, she was very professional, yet friendly and knowledgeable about the various food offerings! Ask for her when you go! One major highlight for me that I really love is that PINK TACO opens until 2am! So if you are out and about in Times Square and craving something good to eat… Stop at PINK TACO!You won’t regret it!

Amazing service Saturday i came in with a party of about 12 people. We were greeting so nicely by the worker Santi and our server was busy and Santi came and saved the day answering my tables questions and being very attentive of tables, he was extremely kind and was very outgoing and overall such a great conversation starter, he even said bye to us and we truly all felt so welcomed and had a great experience together. DEFINITELY coming back 10/10 service and the atmosphere was beautiful

So glad they finally opened one up in NYC and just in time for Cinco De Mayo! Came here for lunch opening week and the space is beautiful! Upstairs and downstairs with live DJ and the prettiest art on the walls. The staff was so friendly and the food was delish. Of course we had to try their pink tacos! Nachos, salad and everything else was also great. Check out the pics of our dessert too! Enjoy!

10/10 experience. I didn't expect it from a restaurant in times square but I was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere is really cool with cool paintings and a very modern design. The food was phenomenal. We got the wings the enchilada and a burrito. Everything was so tasty and flavorful. I can't wait to return. The drinks were just okay. The reason I say this is because they were weak. They tasted pretty good but the first Margarita I had although tasty did not leave me with any buzz. We had the night with the churro ice cream cake tres leches dessert and OMG. It was the best thing I've ever had!!! I WOULD COME BACK JUST FOR THAT DESSERT!

After driving for 3 hours and it being my first time in the Big Apple, Pink Taco was a nice addition to my trip. The decor and atmosphere throughout the restaurant was great, and the staff were really friendly. My only gripe was how long we waited for our food, which to me was worth the wait.

Had an Amazing experience at this location. We made a reservation on open table, the food came quickly, we ordered off the restaurant week menu. They provided full portions vs a taster portion and the bartender made a great dirty martini! Also, the management corrected a billing error with no issue and waitstaff was phenomenal! 10 out of 10

Omgosh I can to pink taco and the service was top tier. The happy hour menu was incredible! The drinks are so good ! They even have a photographer who comes around and you have the option of having your picture taken, but they automatically give you a free postcard. . I love this place. The DJ was playing good music! I can’t wait to come back

I would personally like to thank Mike and Maria.Q for there service and help with recommendations. Wonderful dinning experience

We were pleasantly surprised during our visit to Pink Tacos in Times Square. Initially, we expected it to be just another typical tourist spot, but to our delight, the food and drinks exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was vibrant and inviting. We ordered the steak and eggs and the avocado toast, paired with the special Margarita sampler. Every bite and sip was superb. This spot was a last minute decision since it was so close to our hotel. Loved the Mexican vibes, the lighting gives it a calm touch. The food was very good. The service was good. However our server she was a little frustrated with us not making up our minds fast to order…I know this happened a lot with different consumers but guess she couldn’t take it much.

We ate here for dinner, we are not from here we are traveling walked in at 7:15pm on a Sunday and got seated right away. When I tell you this was the best Chicken Fajitas I’ve ever had in my life (and I’ve had many) these Fajitas were delicious 😋 came with Grilled Chicken, 3 flour tortillas, peppers, onions, pico (out of this world as well) sour cream, cheese and rice and beans. I ate 1 fajita and took the rest back with to the room. My fiancé got Carna Asaida he was very happy with his meal as well. Service was warm and welcoming and when we visit NYC again we will definitely be eating here again.

Pink Taco is a great spot right in the heart of Times Square. The food is delicious, the drinks are solid, and the overall vibe is fun and energetic. We finally got to visit Pink Taco during the holidays and it did not disappoint. We’ve been wanting to come here ever since we saw this location on the reality show Bad Girls Club, so it was definitely on our list. The atmosphere was lively and fun, perfect for a night out. The food was amazing, especially the nachos. They were so humongous we had to take them to go. Totally worth the money and definitely big enough to share between multiple people. The guacamole was also a standout and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The drinks were just as impressive. Each one was delicious and the drink served in a pineapple was such a fun touch. It really added to the whole experience and made it feel like a mini celebration. Pink Taco lived up to the hype and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for bold flavors and a good time. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back.

For this to be in the middle of Times Square it’s a 10/10. Looking for brunch with bottomless mimosas that is kid friendly and came across this place!!! It was a nice vibe with a bunch of TV’s with all kinds of sports games on. The mimosas were great and I had the breakfast papas which was really good!!! My sister and niece had the breakfast fiesta combo and baby the pancakes were the star cooked to perfection I should have gotten myself a side. Our server Tyree was great he went above and beyond , if you go ask for him!!!

I'll be honest, with a name like Pink Taco my expectations were not very high. I was glad to see that I was wrong in my prejudgment. We had a large party reservation for 20 people. We were quickly directed upstairs. While there is an elevator, the majority of us opted for the stairs due to the size of our party. The staircase is a bit misleading. You have to go up quite a few flights to reach the next level. I was surprised at how large of a space there was on the 2nd level. Upon reaching the 2nd floor, we were greeted at another host stand and promptly taken to a very spacious semi-private room. It was already ready for us with various appetizers laid out on the tables. We snacked on tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole (which was incredible), queso (very thick but delicious), street corn, salad, and chicken taquitos. Our server was phenomenal, especially given our large size. He brought us pitchers of strawberry lemonade and soda. Some people ordered additional drinks. For the main course we dined on cauliflower, pork, and chicken tacos. We finished the meal with a churro and ice cream dessert. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish!

Came to New York for my friends birthday and we stopped here for happy hour and some drinks. Everything was amazing. The place was a vibe and interior was really pretty. Our server Will was incredible. He was friendly and funny and with quick efficient service. The food was incredibly delicious. We had the OG tacos and veggie tacos. my friend who's not a vegetarian raved over them they were so delicious. We also had the mini nachos and street corn which was also very tasty. The margarita flights were also very delicious. Overall the throughly enjoyed it here.

The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the music set the perfect vibe for the night. The tacos were absolutely delicious – I had the pork taco and it was so flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The overall atmosphere was fun, lively, and just the kind of place you want to hang out at. Definitely my new go-to spot – I’ll be coming back regularly!

Me and my wife went here for dinner back in August of 2025. I absolutely loved this place. The location is very easy to find. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was very awesome to say the least. Restaurant felt very clean, didnt feel dirty at all. The staff was quick with service, didnt take long to order drinks or food at all. The food was very impressive. My wife got the street corn to start and she said it was perfect. Then I got the Big Barbacoa Burrito and my wife got the Lobster Enchiladas and we both enjoyed every bite of our dishes. None of the plates were too small. My burrito was stuffed and the sauce they put on it was amazing. My wife loved the enchiladas, she never had lobster enchiladas before but said if she said it was so good she wouldnt hesitate to get it again. We both agreed that the food was beyond expectations for the price we paid. All in all, I would absolutely recommend Pink Taco as a place to come get a great bite to eat when in NYC.

{Food} - Absolutely get the OG pink tacos! The chicken was sooo tender and flavorful. The pink taco itself was really interesting. It was soft and fluffy but also a bit crispy on the outside. - The guacamole was okay… needed some salt or lime. - The street corn wasn’t anything out of your ordinary elote. - The mint lemonade was delicious. Didn’t taste like it was made from concentrate and it wasn’t overly sweet or tart. Nice balance. {Service} Giving them the benefit of the doubt because they’ve been only open a week since this review. - Runners kept bringing food that I didn’t order to my table. Kind of annoying because we were constantly being interrupted. - I’m pretty sure my server was drinking because everyone he spoke, you could smell it on his breath. - When the OG pink & OG veg tacos were brought to my table, I had 3 employees staring at the tacos because all of them couldn’t tell which was the vegetarian or chicken. (Luckily neither me or my friend are vegetarian but could be concerning to those who are.) {Atmosphere} - There was a live DJ (granted I went on a Friday evening) that played lots of fun jams. - There are murals throughout the restaurant. Super cool. LA graffiti vibes. - Pretty clean and very comfortable. {Overall} I’d come back for the food and atmosphere. The service was so-so but hopefully it’ll improve as time goes on.

I am not going to lie and say I meant to come here lol because I didn’t… it was a last minute choice I made due to not having enough time. It wasn’t a bad time nonetheless, the food was actually delicious. I was surprised to like the steak nachos as much as I did, maybe because they weren’t drenched with cheese & more fresh toppings. The Al Pastor Tacos were pretty good but like I mentioned in the video I rather my tacos from a truck. The corn tortilla just hits differently along with sauces from a taco truck. Pink taco is a good alternative for that on time square though since it’s not a place where you find taco trucks by the boat load. Lastly their Tequila Flight $25 offering 4 of their cocktails drinks was not recommended to me by another customer. Her words being “only one of them is good, it’s just juice “ On a different day I would’ve tried it myself to gain my own perspective but I didn’t feel like having so much sugar.

We went for an early dinner after a broadway matinee. Highly recommend making reservations. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes before anyone waited on us which is the reason I’m giving 4 and not 5 stars because everything else was great. My daughter made me get the “pink tacos” and they did not disappoint. We also got fajitas and a cheese quesadilla which also lived up to expectations. Also the prickly pear margarita is a must if you want to deviate from a regular margarita.

This place is a nice addition to times square. Nice atmosphere. My waitress was kind and informative about the different menu options. The margarita flight and $25 for 25 years deal was great! The tres leches was my favorite part of the experience The one downside I must note is that the elevator is very out of date. I was fearful that I would get stuck! Nevertheless, overall I enjoyed my items and would return if in the area again.

Place itself is very nice and upbeat. Food portions are on the small side. Staff needs a little work on bringing meals out together, we had to wait for our sides to come out while our main sat on our table. A little crowded upstairs in middle room, hard to get by around all the tables and chairs. Our waitress was very nice. Overall a nice place, next time I may just sit at the bar on the first floor where there is plenty to see out the very nice, big windows! 😀

I forgot to take pictures at the start so don’t judge the portion size from it. The portion size size is extra generous. The ambiance is really nice and good service. It’s kid friendly in the higher floor.

The food was good, really enjoyed my steak and eggs. I rated it 4/5 due to the other food coming out cold, but still tasted good. The server was very attentive. The owner or manager, can’t recall, came and checked on us and even complimented dessert for the food coming out cold. I must add my friend did not want to return the food and mentioned it being cold as a FYI. They did not make excuses and quickly tried to resolve the problem. Love the decor! Several big screen TVs, which will be great for sports. Definitely recommend!!!!

Food was really good and the tacos were fresh and flavorful. The vibe inside is cool and colorful. Only reason it’s 4 stars is the prices — a bit on the expensive side for tacos. Still a solid spot though.

Tasty food. Flavorful, strong, big drinks. Free chips and salsa. Friendly, attentive servers and staff. A lot of steps to get upstairs. Fun, festive vibe. Good music, not too loud. Loved the decor. Food and drinks came quickly. They don’t rush people out once they’ve paid, which is always nice.

I was initially torn between giving this place three or four stars, but I ultimately chose four for a few key reasons. First, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful overall. They were attentive, though they came by on their own schedule rather than when we actually needed them. They also didn’t offer any recommendations for the menu, which would have been nice. Location-wise, this restaurant has a prime spot—not far from Times Square and close to the Nintendo store—making it a convenient stop for anyone exploring the area. The interior was well-maintained and very clean when we arrived. It wasn’t too busy at first, but it picked up pretty quickly, so it’s clearly a popular spot. Now, onto the food, which is the main reason you’re reading this! It was better than average, though my main issue was that it wasn’t served piping hot, only warm. I ordered the birria tacos, and while the flavors in the broth were rich and delicious for dipping, the seasoning in the meat itself was underwhelming. Without the broth, the tacos lacked depth. Hopefully, they can improve the seasoning ratio in the future to make the tacos flavorful both with and without the broth. Overall, I’d recommend this place, especially for the location, reasonable prices, and generally good experience. They also have a full bar, which is a plus for drinkers, and an upstairs seating area perfect for large groups. Give it a try!

The food was very good and it was very fresh. It was good portion sizes and good prices. Also, the food was well presented that I atmosphere was nice and relaxed. It was very aesthetically pleasing. The service… The waiter did not pay much attention to us, and it was very slow while we were there. He did not stay on top of things however he was polite.

Good taco selection. Server was friendly. The OG pink taco was good. Chicken Caesar salad was great.

We had three types of tacos. The Lobster, Carnitas, and Carne Asada. I was slightly disappointed in the lobster. The others were really good! The service was excellent.

Convenient to Time Square. Prices were a bit high for what you get. The food was okay, but they charge you for anything extra, even chips and salsa ($7). The classic Margarita was good as was the salsa. Service was very friendly and efficient.

I had tacos - slow-cooked beef, onion-cilantro mix, oaxaca cheese, consommé, corn tortilla. Was very yummy. Also had a delicious lemonade. Service was friendly too.

Super cool place! The pink tacos and nachos are sooo good! The soup was kinda gross, I could barely eat it. This is place is pricey but you are in NYC. Even tho this margarita was $20, it was soooo good and pretty strong, plus it comes in a pineapple. Definitely going to go back.

My friend and I had lunch here and let me start off by saying the service was great from the waitress to the manager who walked by to see how everything was going. The establishment is very large with an upstairs also with a lot of stairs (just keep that in mind) I forgot the name of my drink but it was very delicious and strong and the lobster tacos were good however the pieces were extremely small and not enough for the price. My friend ordered the steak tacos that she loved but we just didn't like that the tacos didn't come with any sides so we ordered french fries to share which was also very delicious. That's the main reason why I gave it three stars in addition to the water cups being extremely dirty when I sat down. All in all the music was great but I probably wouldn't come back.

More like 4.5! Grew up in White Plains but visiting from Texas. Came about 11:45 a.m. on a Saturday; protests outside rendered the place empty (though people started trickling in at noon). Our waitress was darling (long braids); I had French toast de leche or something like that…it was GREAT; portion not too tiny or too huge. We had a table all the way in the back, in a pretty empty place and subsequent people were also in the back, very close to us…kinda weird but not some HUGE problem. It was NOT by the kitchen, which was good. Neon pink lighting everywhere, in case your eyes are sensitive! Mine aren’t. My friend had those pink pancakes…good! Not as good as my meal, though. I had bacon 🥓 as a side and it was perfectly done: chewy not crunchy. I really liked the cool, cavernous space; it was somehow relaxing against the mayhem outside. The restrooms were several floors up but there’s an elevator if you need it. Like everything else, it’s certainly not cheap! Two people, 20% pre-tax tip…it was between $65 and $80…can’t recall exactly. So, not great value per se, but nothing in NYC is. We had plenty of time to get to a Broadway matinee; timing of table service was great!

The Nacho Rater
The Nacho Rater

Nachos This appetizer consisted of black beans, pickled jalapeños, pico de gallo, cilantro, mexican crema, avocado salsa, red chile sauce, pink taco cheese sauce, house cheese blend. Cotija cheese, and tortilla chips. Protein options are available for an additional charge. Chicken, al pastor, carnitas, ground beef, and grilled vegetables. I chose carne asada. The chips to topping ratio was balanced. The portion size was more than enough for 1 adult. The pricing was more expensive compared to similar nacho options. Overall, I really enjoyed this appetizer. The chips tasted fresh and homemade, the cheese combination and sauce were delicious. I would order this appetizer again.

Our experience was okay. We were a party of 6. Some of our people were running late and they were accommodating, so that was nice. However, we were left without waitstaff for a long time. We were finally able to order drinks what would have been a half hour after the first members of our party arrived. After we did begin to order we waited longer than I'm accustomed to at any restaurant As for our drinks, we did enjoy them! And the mint lemonade was a hit! We also ordered appetizers. Chips and guacamole were delicious. I liked the salsa too. Others seemed to enjoy the taquitos, jalapeno poppers and corn. As for entrees, our table consensus were that they were just okay. Someone got the birria tacos but their was oil dripping from the taco and they didn't like the dish. The tacos were stuffed, making for a very filling meal. I had the Vampirico Taco bomb plate. I didn't love it. The carne asada was over cooked. I didn't like the texture of the tortilla but the pickled onion and other relish type ingredients + crema were the star of the dish. The restroom was clean and I liked the music. The venue also has a lot of space, which is nice. Would I go back? Probably not in NY. But I'll give DC and/or Miami a shot.

Went there for NYE. Purchased tickets for reserved entry, open bar, and appetizers. When we got in, we were told all the tables/chairs were reserved and our tickets were standing only. We ordered drinks at the lower level bar, and we're told we had to pay for them, then told to just tip the bartenders. Went upstairs to check it out. Ordered drinks up there and no issues. The appetizers were refilled, and several staff were walking around with plates of appetizers, handing them out. My daughter (13 years old)found an empty chair next to the stairs, out of the way, and sat down. After 20 minutes, a security guard walked over and told her she could not sit in a chair. She stood up, and the security guard took the chair and put it in a corner, near stacks of chairs. We went upstairs again and ordered drinks. We were told they were only serving certain drinks, and they took away the drink menu that was on the bar. On TV, they were showing the NYE celebration from Nashville instead of Times Square. Just before midnight, they announced everyone wanting to watch the ball drop meet at the door to be escorted outside. We went out and decided not to go back inside afterward. The Pink Taco has potential. it just needs better management to keep things consistent and not advertise, sell tickets, to something they are not going to provide. It was better than standing outside in the rain, so there's that.

Decent prices for the Times Square area. We went after seeing a show and going back to the Long Island Railroad at Grand Central. The chicken enchiladas were ok. My wife got the pink tacos which had a nice crunch but some bites were good and others were super spicy to the point of almost being uneatable. Super loud music like most places lately so hard to speak to whoever you're with. The place wasn't full on a Thursday night and they still tried to sit us crammed next to other diners. A simple request fixed that.

Yesterday, my wife and I decided to try something new in the city and came across Pink Taco — a place we’d never heard of before. The food was delicious, and we were really impressed by the flavors and presentation. However, the service was disappointing. Our server seated us but didn’t introduce herself until I asked for her name. It also seemed like only one server, Angela, was handling the entire floor, which made things feel unorganized. It took quite a while before we were attended to, and I eventually had to ask the host to take our order. When our food arrived, both our appetizers and entrées were brought out at the same time. We chose to eat our appetizers first, which meant our entrées got cold. It’s unfortunate because the food itself was great — but the lack of teamwork and coordination really took away from the overall experience. Pink Taco has a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food, but better teamwork and attention to service would truly make the experience live up to the quality of the food.

This review is for Restaurant Week (RW) summer 2024 only. The RW menu seemed very promising at first - a 3-course dinner for $30. However, the dishes were quite disappointing. The portions were generous, no doubt, but the dishes were only a slight upgrade from the tacos at Taco Bell. The taquitos were better than expected, but the pink tacos were too fried, and the enchiladas lacked flavor. I ordered a classic margarita, which didn't arrive until halfway through the meal, despite a few reminders. It came in a tall glass instead of a typical margarita glass, with chunks of ice. I have never seen a margarita made so poorly, especially at a Mexican-themed restaurant. There is HH…but I doubt I will return given my experience here. In short, this is not the place to go if you're seeking an authentic Mexican meal.

This place was fine but the music was too loud and our server seemed like she didn’t really want to be there. I understand we all have bad days but the service was just mediocre 🫩 we weren’t rude and every time she came up she was just like 😐🫤 this place is your typical Times Square restaurant and it’s just okay 🤷‍♂️

B
Brandi Rodriguez

It's a restaurant in the main Times Square area; what else more can you expect? Restraunt itself is very well decorated and eye catching. Service was decent; our waiter disappeared at one point and we had to ask another waiter to find them. Food is average and has some great potential. We got the OG pink tacos and pastor. The shredded chicken in mine were chewy and burnt. The pickled onions were spicy and frankly made the taco have the flavor. The al pastor tacos were good but again lacked flavor. We get it, this is a tourist spot so they make tacos to please most rather than be on the authentic side.

We stopped by on a Sunday. The main floor was fairly crowded and the table where we’re going to be sat was too near to another table so we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was fair at best. It took him a while to take our order and then didn’t write it down so needed to come back and confirm what we wanted. Our food arrived pretty quickly and was pretty tasty. The rice and beans were bleh. Nothing spectacular. We enjoyed a pitcher of margaritas, which were the best part of our visit.

Rebecca Benjamin

Food was absolutely amazing. Food came out hot and in good time but the sever was quick to leave the table. And wouldn’t come back for quite some time. Very frustrating. There was only a few tables seated and we watched many staff stand around talking or fiddling with their phones. :((

Was really excited to eat tacos here as I used to go almost weekly at the Miami location which unfortunately closed down. This meal unfortunately was no where near the quality of the Miami location. Was really disappointed the tacos were not good at all and very expensive.

I enjoyed my food but my kids all thought it was too spicy, the service time was long and it felt 100 degrees inside. Great decor though. Was very loud, definitely not a place for talking

Ambiance (5/5): The establishment is HUGE with two levels of dining and 2 full bars. Handicap accessible with an elevator. The place is decked out in modern, wall décor in Mexican themes, upbeat music (that's not too loud, perfect background volume), and high ceilings. The open space is great for big parties. Service (5/5): Because the place is so large, the wait staff have to cover a lot of ground. That being said though, I felt like they definitely came around checked in on us frequently. The day that we came (8/14/25), the air conditioning was broken and we were constantly wiping our sweat off the whole meal. I made a comment that management needs to fix it to the waitress--she brought me the manager! He apologized and asked if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable. I joked that a glass of marg would be great and he totally obliged!! This extra step really put a positive spin to our dining experience. Food (2/5): We came for the $30 restaurant week. The portions are HUGE. In the fine print, the chips and salsa are supposed to come with your meal but you have to ask for it... Guac (3/5): very subpar, almost watery. Chips were cooked at home, seasoned very salty (but not too salty) which made us gobble down way too many before the main entrée Street Corn (5/5): This was the best item that we tried! 1.5 ears of corn, on the cob, seasoned all the way around. It was creamy, rich in flavors, and delicious. OG Pink Tacos (4/5): This is a very unique taco due to its fried pink corn tortilla. The blend of sauces was good but because the shell was kind of small, each bite was difficult to keep the taco in tact. I didn't love or hate it but it was interesting and different. Burrito (3/5): I don't know if "traditional" burritos are supposed to be smoldered in green enchilada sauce, but it was not a hands-on burrito and required a knife/fork. I added carnitas (+$5) and the portions with the additional meat didn't feel worth it. There was nothing special about the burrito, I might almost say a Chipotle burrito tasted better... Pink Fried Ice Cream (1/5): I enjoyed the concept and presentation but the outer coating was basically stale fruity pebbles which overpowered the flavors. The inside ice cream was good but overall not executed well. Tres Leches Churro (5/5): The presentation was beautiful! The churros were toasted to a nice crunch, accompanied with a nice ice cream and a wet of tres leches sauce. Happy hour menu at the bar and lounge: $5 modelos, $7 house win, $10 margs - tacos at $4 and other foods for under $10. Run for their HH!!

My sisters, my nieces and I had dinner here Labor Day weekend (8/31/25) and the food was really good but the service was really bad! I don’t want to call out the specific server but she pretty much ignored us for the entire dinner. It was really disappointing because everything else was pretty good. All six of us really liked our food, it was reasonably priced for Times Square, and it was a fun atmosphere with big picture windows facing the street giving us a great view of all the hustle and bustle outside. Perhaps we were ignored because we didn’t get alcohol which would have brought the tab and gratuity up considerably. Whatever the reason, I was going to give only two stars, but decided to give three because the experience might have been a better if we had a different server.

Location was extremely convenient, and the food was fantastic. Wish I could say the same about the service. We sat down for a late lunch after getting done running around the city. We sat down at ~5:20pm. We ordered a normal meal - no dessert, and we didn't get out until 6:55pm. You can tell the server staff is overworked, and the team is doing their best to fill in where they can. Our server Kayla greeted us after we were seated for a few minutes (long enough for us to review the menu and have our entire order ready to go). She ran out of water filling up the 4 glasses on the table, and it was another 20 minutes before she'd be back by the table with the drinks we ordered (1 soda and 2 margaritas). Our food followed in a reasonable amount of time that followed, but during our entire hour and 25 minute visit, I think we saw Kayla a total of 3 times, and upon asking for some additional tortillas for the fajitas we ordered, we had to flag her down in eye shot from the kitchen to remind her. A member of the management/host staff ended up bringing those (and yes I was charged $2.50 for the extra tortillas and waiting 12 minutes (from the time I started looking at my watch) to receive them). I don't write this to have a negative experience. It really isn't, but with the prime real estate that Pink Taco sits in, having a regular, relatively low total dollar check sit, occupying a 4 top for 1 hour and 25 minutes seems to be really inefficient in running daily operations, and if I were management/ownership, I'd want to know about this experience. With more attentiveness you would have been able to increase our check total by serving more margaritas (since ours were nearly empty by the time the food arrived, and we weren't given the opportunity to reorder), or by getting us out of their faster and turning the table. The food was absolutely amazing, and that will carry the establishment a long way, but I'm afraid if our experience is the norm that economics will outperform the food quality.

April 2024 Update: I came back here for dinner before a broadway show and brought a friend. It ended up being such a disappointing experience. They no longer have the OG Veg Pink Taco or the queso bean dip. Their new veg taco is a cauliflower taco so just like all other restaurants, nothing unique. I ended up getting the nachos and they were very disappointing. They were cold, the cheese was looking like it had been sitting out there. There were barely any beans on it so it was just cold cheese, cold queso, and barely any sauces. The top layer had everything just piled on and if you eat those 10-15 chips, everything underneath is just dry. I've attached the pics to see. So sad as I was very excited to have this open in NYC but somehow the quality has just gone down. Previous Review: It was so great to go to the Pink Taco in NYC. I’ve been to the original location in Las Vegas and have always loved the Queso dip. We came here before a broadway show and we really enjoyed the food. We go the veggie pink taco and the queso bean dip and they were both delicious. We also came around happy hour and got happy hour drinks. Overall the experience was really nice. The service was fast and everyone was very nice. Prices were reasonable but also it was because we came during happy hour. The location is nice, somewhat casual. Insta: @TheShahLALand

The inside is neat and has a fun vibe, but that's about where it ends. The burrito came out cold, and when asked if we could have silverware to eat, we got an attitude from the server. We ordered the salsa sampler, and it came out after the regular food. We wouldn't return here again and would recommend this to restaurant to anyone I know.

Unfortunately our meal here was a miss in most ways and we wouldn't go back again. I ordered the big barbacoa burrito and the sauce that they smothered it with was coldish and so was the rice inside. The meat inside of the burrito was hot but the first couple bites with just sauce, rice, and tortilla were pretty awful and after that the combined product was just off. My son ordered a ground beef burrito from the kids menu and asked for just meat, cheese, rice and beans because he doesn't like tomatoes and onions. Their ground beef and rice all have onions and tomatoes mixed into it when they make it so it was inedible for him. A kids menu should be mindful of the ingredients. I also had an issue with the shredded cheese they used, it had been sitting out for some time and had gotten the shiny oily look that happens to cheese after sitting out. Overall not a good meal, I would suggest taking a pass on this spot.

It’s a bar with tacos. The queso fundido was greasy and not very flavorful. The tacos Al pastor were overly pineapple flavored so overdone with fruit you can’t taste the meat. The fajitas were basic Overall not impressed. Americanized taco place definitely not authentic. Waitress was attentive and got our order correct. The only positive!

Went to Pink Taco for the very first time on 2/14 it was late (after midnight) and I figured my husband and I could take a little break from the city and grab some tacos. I’ve read reviews on this place on IG and decided that we could give it a try. NEVER AGAIN !!!! The prices are great which is a plus but that customer service ain’t it . Upon walking we were seated quickly. We waited about 30 minutes for a server to actually greet us and ask for our drinks. After they finally came to our table we placed our orders and waited about 15 minutes till food started arriving I had the green chile enchiladas and my husband had the carne asada tacos . Both dishes were very bland. The tacos did not slap and my green chile enchiladas were absolutely terrible. Nothing Mexican about this place at all. Kind of disrespectful actually like where is the season and spice. Enchiladas tasted like they came out of a can along with the sauce very watered down. In my opinion the best flavorful thing they had to offer was the Salsas. The pineapple salsa was the only thing I ate in full. Place is good for chips and salsa not authentic Mexican dishes .

Ordered online and picked it up at the time I was stated which was 28 minutes from the time you place your order. Got there to pick up my order and my bag was sitting on top of a chair. Nowhere placed to keep the food warm. Looked over the order and noticed that the side products are very tiny and in souffle cups filled halfway. Mind you I ordered two fajitas dinners and got such tiny side of sour cream pico de gallo and guacamole for $31 a plate. I asked if I could get a little more pico de gallo and sour cream and the gentleman at the entrance told me I would have to pay extra as they don't give extras even though I just paid $31 a plate. I told him the amount of products I received is barely enough to make two wraps a fajita per person if anything. Also you're supposed to get I guess 4 soft tortillas with this plate and we both got 3 each. It's sad, I went to Target to purchase an avocado to have extra stuff on my fajita My nephew ordered a burrito and honestly felt sick within 35 minutes of eating. It cost me $86 for two fajitas and one burrito and honestly I would never recommend this place to anyone. Also why is it called the Pink Taco? Literally there is only one item on the menu that a pink taco is combined with. Everything else is regular. I find it odd that they would name it after the one menu item they have in their restaurant and it's just the plain taco.

P

The food was good. But it was expensive and the service on the other hand is just not that great. Oh and for some reason they marked my reservation a no show and won’t fix it. 😒 Honestly I’d skip this place & pick somewhere local to NY to eat at instead.

Absolutely Terrible Experience. Reserved a table for 8:30 Came early 8:10 Got Seated Immediately which Was Cool. But a 20 minute wait to be approached for drinks after walking past my partner and I, we ordered drinks and our food because we knew what we wanted 15 minutes by drinks came out, 10 minutes after food came out.. COLD AND SOGGY, Heavily Displeased With Our Experience. After Not eating the food they tried to make another food order waiting another 20 minutes. Keniesha Tried to rectify the situation as pleasant as she was we were serverely turned off by the experience and managers approach to try to make us pay for an hour+ of waiting and soggy food! 10/10 do not recommend. And keniesha apparently wasn’t supposed to be our waitress she just noticed we were unattended for a while.

We didn’t realize this restaurant had a C health rating when we decided to eat here, but after our experience, it all made sense. Avoid this Mexican restaurant in Times Square. Our experience was terrible from start to finish. The food was of very poor quality, lacking flavor, and made us feel sick afterward. The service was disappointing—the servers were inattentive and unfriendly, and everything took too long, from taking our order to bringing the check. The only exception was the hostess, who was professional, friendly, and greeted us with a great attitude—something that, unfortunately, was not reflected in the rest of the staff. The margaritas and other cocktails were poorly made, with low-quality alcohol and unbalanced flavors. On top of that, the music was entirely in English, which felt completely off-brand for a supposedly Mexican restaurant. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were dirty and unkempt, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. With so many great Mexican food options in New York, this place is not worth it. I do not recommend it at all, except for the hostess, who was the only positive part of the night!!

The food was decent at best, and Charles our server really tried, but there were quite a few issues in terms of missing items and other dishes not arriving with the rest of the meal. It took a lot of back and forth to get anything done to get things right and made the meal way more of an effort than a get-together with friends should be. Would have also been nice if the manager on duty didn’t give us a scowl when we asked for something to be done to remedy the situation.

J
Jacqlyn Lovejoy

I am infuriated by how terrible our experience was at Pink Taco. I have a dairy allergy, and 30 minutes after placing my order, our server returned to tell me they couldn't remove cheese because the tacos are prebuilt in the morning. I had to switch my order, and even then it took another 30 minutes to arrive -- despite the restaurant being nearly empty. And unbelievably, I was charged for both meals, which I now have to dispute with my credit card. My friend's order was a complete mess. He requested poached egg whites on his avocado toast and they brought over-easy eggs. He asked for fruit instead of potatoes, which they ignored, and they completely forgot the bacon. We had to ask five times for the eggs, fruit, and bacon -- and somehow it all still arrived before our other friend even received his meal. That friend's burrito was never put in at all. It took so long that the rest of us had finished eating by the time he finally got it. Throughout all of this, we had to repeatedly track down our server, who gave us attitude every time we asked for an update. After all the mistakes and long delays, we had to request a discount from the manager ourselves and it was given begrudgingly. Overall, this was an astonishingly poor dining experience -- disorganized, dismissive, and deeply disappointing. Do not waste your time!
