We tried the banh mi here and loved it. My wife is Vietnamese and she thought this is best banh mi she has ever had. The place is small so it's best to get takeout, which is what we did. For takeout orders, they put the veggie filling separately so that the baguette doesn't get soggy. We tried their house special and grilled chicken. Both were excellent with very generous filling and the baguette was just the right texture (some fall apart when you bite, but this one was the right mix of crunchy and chewy).

This place is 🔥🔥🔥. As a vegetarian, it’s hard to find good Bành Mi, but this place hits it on the money! No frills, hole in the wall, but that’s how you know this place is the real deal that serves authentic and good food. There were tons of people coming in and out of here on a Wednesday at lunch, so clearly IYKYK. Skip the overpriced pizza and come here for some real cuisine. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Calling all Pescatarians/Vegetarians … this is the best Vietnamese Sandwich shop for us! There’s three options: 1) Fish sardines 2) vegetarian chicken (tofu) w/ lemongrass 3) vegetarian curry chicken (tofu). The sandwiches are filled to the brim and the vegetarian chicken is flavorful and tender! Don’t forget the Vietnamese coffee for this hot summer day!

$10.50 for a hefty and delicious banh mi in Chinatown, NYC!? I have an obsession with banh mi, so I’ve been trying different vietnamese hole-in-the-wall spots in Chinatown and Brooklyn. While my no.1 favorite spot remains Banh Mi Sai Gon, I recently tried Saigon Vietnamese Sandwich Deli and it became a close second. ＊House Special Banh Mi $10.50 The banh mi was ENORMOUS. Half could fill me up for the day. It was neatly stacked with grilled pork, vietnamese salami and ham. If you like pickled radish and carrots, you can almost get a 1:1 ratio of fresh pickled veggies to meat here. The baguette was very crispy. My bf said it was too toasted for his liking but I personally loved the crunch. I tried both spicy and non-spicy versions. The spicy one was better as it wasn’t too spicy and I liked green bell pepper. Of course I’ve had cheaper banh mi before, but the portion and amount of meat were not as generous as theirs. We haven’t found good banh mi in Vegas so every time we see it somewhere we’re traveling to, we always have any to try it and this did not disappoint! We got the number one house special spicy and the number eight curry chicken also spicy. They were delicious. The house special was our favorite. We also got a Thai iced tea and that was also good. This place is cash only so make sure you have cash!

Quality has gone down—I used to love the grilled minced pork and the recipe is different now, very dry and bland. The quantity of chicken in the curry chicken banh mi makes its $11+ price really not worth it, even though it was tasty. hoping my favorite banh mi shop for the last 2 decades makes a comeback 🙏

Got the curry chicken spicy, was hot and delicious. It seems spicy just meant with jalapenos. The slaw is really bright and flavorful. Cash only but tax is already included in pricing. Recommend if you're in the area

I absolutely love banh Mi's so may be a bit more critical. Solid sandwich with very flavor able fillings and meats. The big let down for me was the quality of the bread. Hard to describe but found it too "chaulky" instead of a chewy texture.

never knew this place existed until recently. I’ve been on a hunt for a good banh mi in nyc and this place is definitely on one of my top picks so far. Ordered number 1 spicy and it hit the spot. Very flavorful. I would have liked to taste more butter and pate that’s for sure but overall a decent sandwich. It’s CASH ONLY.
