The most favourite Italian restaurant in New York, specifically the Macy branch. Mr. Dillon was a very expert in the content of the menu and guided us on what we had to try. We loved everything he suggested and the last thing we sealed and our meal with a tramiso cake. It was one of the most delicious cakes we tried here.

Stella is a restaurant in the heart of midtown Manhattan that features a variety of Italian-inspired dishes. The Shrimp is small but packed with flavor and a nice garlic sauce. The meatballs are huge and tender with a hearty marinara sauce with Parmesan cheese. The restaurant has huge windows that show a great sunset if you can catch it. It also has a great city view. Tables are intimate(read small) and try to get a booth so you’re the most comfortable. They have a great selection of dishes that are very popular and I personally recommend the eggplant Parmesan. Not the entree portion but the appetizer portion. Very nicely priced. Great for a date or a place to rest after shopping.

I’ve been here several times, and I gotta tell you I love the food. The views are insane, I came today on a Friday afternoon, and they have happy hour, From 430 to 630. My drink actually came with a free personal pie. I would’ve never known that if it wasn’t because of Saleem The Bartender, who was amazing, very friendly, and recommended. The best drink I ever had.

Sincerely, we were just looking for a drink and something to munch before going to the Empire State. What we found was: great service, best Italian food outside Italy and views of the city all in one place. The eggplant parmigiana was simply the best I've ever had apart from home made in an Italian home. The cheese and cold cuts platter was superb. The drinks were very good too. Service excellent. My friend forgot her credit card and the staff was so helpful when we went back to collect it. A hidden gem inside Macy’s.

Nice space and service. A decent size meal and outstanding quality ! We had the LE COSTINE pork ribs with a cheese risotto (the best of the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️), TAGLIATA DI MANZO a nice meat sandwich and a pizza! The Stella spritz cocktail wasn’t as good according to the food, but was ok. (Rather don’t ask for it) The view was beautiful!, you eat viewing the Empire State Building 🛕

Good food and the service is excellent! Sadly my Martini tasted like " sour grapefruit" juice.. Not certain how you can mess up a martini!!! Not I'll be back-changing my drink🤮 Plus, the waiters don't come around to see if you require any assistance- which my be good, but I needed a straw and waited a long time to catch someone's attention running by my table.. a I'm usually a good tipper, when it's due- I'll tip, just not as much had they been a little more tentative!! 4 Star, changed to 5 Star-- thanks to manage Chris, after I voice my concerns! Chris was AMAZINGLY THOUGHTFUL of my concern s!!!

I came here for a co-workers retirement dinner, and I will be honest that I had very low expectations dining here since the restaurant is located on the 6th floor in Macy's. But, to my surprise, the restaurant is very lovely and the food, in my opinion, tasted great. We got the bread for the table, calamari, and seared prawns as appetizers to be shared. My main course was the roasted chicken, and it was cooked perfectly, and it was moist and juicy. My cocktail of the Spicy Blood Orange Margarita gave me a nice buzz. The only issue was the service, which was a tad slow. We were way done with our appetizers and drinks before our server came back to get our main course orders. Don't get me wrong, the young man who waited on us was very friendly and took our orders correctly, and made sure that he addressed my co-workers' food allergies with the kitchen. They have a decent sized food and drinks menu, but it can seem rather expensive...then again it is located in Macy's. In spite of the slower than usual service, I really enjoyed my meal here and would dine her again in the future.

I will only be reviewing the food and service at this establishment, and not the amazing Drag Brunch that was hosted here. They are a separate review. I found the food to be mediocre. It was lacking in flavor, spices, and passion. I found my chicken Milanese to be dry and bland. I had to ask for hot sauce just to get some moisture back from the chicken. The salad was fine. The service was great. Our server, Josie, was attentive to our needs and immediately fixed any issue with our food. I also appreciated her kind hospitality. I wish I could give this place 5 stars for the service alone but I cannot. The food was not memorable, and it was lacking in quality. To charge $25 for a dish lacking in flavor was rather criminal. Would I come back to this place again? Probably to sit at the bar and enjoy the entertaining drag show, but not to eat their food.

Went with my family for lunch and it was okay. The food was great but the portion sizes were ridiculously tiny, especially considering the prices. The wait times were pretty egregious (a tiny kids pizza with 4 slices took 45+ minutes to make.) The service was personable and very professional but pretty slow. The vibes were nice though; very elegant and BEAUTIFULLL view, like damn. I would reccomend not going for lunch but for dinner instead.

We had a large group here and had a “buffet” style of service. The dinner was booked way in advance yet they seemed to struggle a bit. The service was friendly but the sodas were all flat that were lined up pre-filled and they struggled to keep drinks going for us and the rest of the place. The food was mediocre but not bad. Maybe regular menu and not a big group “buffet” on an 8ft table would be better. Assumedly they have more exciting dishes than strips of chicken, cheesy penne pasta with sauce and lasagna on the regular menu. The location is great! Cool views. Hard to find in the corner of the 6th floor of the Macys I would have preferred grabbing a slice of NY pizza and wandering around NYC
