Was looking for tacos in the area and was not disappointed. Was surprised the variety of authentic kinds and how delicious! Had the salted beef, langua, and napoles. Even the salsa for the table chips was delicious. Not too spicy. Nothing was spicy. I even asked for hot sauce that wasn’t spicy.

This is a great, cheap go-to spot for $4 tacos and $9 margaritas. I’ve frequented their East Village location many times and have never walked away with a bill more than $25 pp. Free chips and salsa when you come in and sit down too. Cool LA vibes and memorabilia, great spot to watch an LA game for any playoff event (if you can get a seat - show up early…very early). Worth it!

I’ve come here multiple times and they never disappoint. This place is the real deal. All the tacos are tasty I recommend the Steak! (Spicy) but soo good, the Lamb, and Pork too. The chips are super fresh crunchy and salty. The salsa is one of the best I’ve ever had, lots of flavor in all the food. Also a warm vibe and decor, major props for the 90’s music choice. 🌮

This is the best Mexican food I have had in the city. This place has been a go to since they were in the LES years ago. The place prides itself in real Mexican cuisine not the American Tex Mex or to go alternative. The food is fresh and made to order and the choices are amazing. It has more adventurous choices for tacos as well if you're into that. The guacamole is made fresh to order. Everything here is so damn good.

Was such a great surprise when rhe food came. I guess I wasn't expecting much as the place was sort of empty but the stagg were polite if not Spanish speaking. Food was pretty good too ans the enchiladas were more than I expected from a low key place. Good Rita's too

One of the few places in the city that has refried beans, their chips are great and I enjoy their salsa. My go to is their steak quesadilla, it can be a little oily, but it's delicious and they give really great portions of steak. It's a neighborhood spot, so it's always busy, a spa quit restaurant with cute decor, and fresh made margaritas.

Dine in comes with complimentary chips and salsa. The place was decent for the price. Only $35 for a very filling meal and drink for 2 people and we over ordered so we had to bring some food home. As for the quality was kind of mid but it was still decent mexican food regardless even though it wasn’t the best. Would recommend coming here. Also the pork taco was dry.

I feel compelled to write a review since I felt extremely misled by all the positive reviews. The food here is super mid, though I will say the prices are very reasonable for the area. I had the papas and chorizo tacos, both of which were so salty to the point of being inedible. My friend got the tostadas, which were fine, but covered in an unreasonable amount of lettuce and just odd. I also got the lengua (tongue) taco, and that is the only thing I will say was actually pretty good. The margaritas were absolutely disgusting; my friend and I took one sip and abandoned them. Servers were really nice though.

Place was Aesthetically pleasing. The menu didn’t have a wide variety of options. Grateful for complimentary chips, lamb tacos were 6/10. I should’ve inquired but unsure if they have soft tacos available, but I’m positive you should bring your own ketchup for those who amor that with most meals. No hennessy available either.

I’m a regular here and I live right down the block, but what happened last week was honestly unacceptable. I came in, sat at the bar, and ordered a drink from the bartender. While I was sitting there, I watched the waitress, Nablia, tasting multiple drinks with a straw before serving them. That is extremely unsanitary and totally unprofessional. Then I asked a manager named Gabriel for a menu so I could order takeout, and he completely ignored me. It genuinely felt like he was offended because I noticed and said something about the waitress tasting people’s drinks. For a manager to act like that is very disappointing. I’ve been supporting this place for a while, but this experience really changed how I feel and won’t ever return

I say this having been a server, recently, 4 times over in my life- we had the most rude, hostile waiter with glasses and curly blonde hair I have ever experienced. I work in restaurants, I understand there are off days and a myriad of circumstances at play. There were 4 empty tables, we had paid our check, and our waiter could not have been more crude, rude, slamming drinks down, slamming checks down, not asking what drink we wanted next but just leaving and giving us whatever they felt like, telling us “I need you to leave” instead of just communicating they needed us to move a table or so down in order to join tables together. We had to be the ones to take a pause and ask them “hold on, what is the problem here so we can understand why you are so angry” ; I’ve never left a bad review about a food establishment but we were so dumbfounded; idc how bad a shift you’re having, this behavior was diabolical and mean.

Got 3 tacos, they were all mushy, undercooked, seasoning was poor, overloaded with oil. People cite this place as a good place to get food, but imo it was a 2/5 taco at a 1/5 price. Overall it was really disappointing.
