Casa Bond NoHo has some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. In the pictures below, I ordered the Quesadilla De Langosta and the Suadero Tacos. Each dish was bursting with flavor, it was plated beautifully, and came to the table hot. They also made my Devil’s Margarita correctly, too. My waitress was so patient with me as I tried my best to pronounce the titles of each dish. The staff were friendly, observant, and attentive to each customer. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will come again, and again.
We didn't have a reservation on February 14, but they accommodated us instantly in a packed restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive although it was crowded. The entire staff we encountered were very friendly and nice. We shared a few appetizers to start. The ceviche was truly amazing delicious, and nice presentations!! Portions were big. Good cocktails selection. Desserts looked delicious. Omg the cocktails are awesome hit the spot. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes. I highly recommend the mezcal Chocolate
My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Casa Bond and we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the courses/cocktails. We had never been here or even heard of the venue but it made sense after our time there because it is brand new. Our server was very attentive and did a great job describing the 5 courses throughout the duration of our visit, she also made great recommendations for cocktails. By the end, we were greeted and thanked for our patronage by a man named Luis (unsure his position but we assumed owner/GM)! Thank you for the shots and we will definitely be back! Cheers 🙏🏼
Food is definitely to come back for. The steak and shrimp taco will be the best taco of your life. Super focused in cocktails as competitive as the top 50 bars in New York. Elite level mixology. Kudos to Luis Villanueva who executes the beverage.
Made my visit on a slow Tuesday night. Kitchen times seemed off, but we weren't in a hurry, so we just enjoyed our night. It started off with fresh guacamole and a nice chorizo fundito. Both were prepared perfectly. For our mains, we had the shrimp and steak tacos and enchilada suizas. Again, it is made perfectly. For dessert with finished with their tasty churos. We sat outside as the September weather was perfect. The inside was beautiful. The bar was fully stocked with anything to satisfy your cocktail needs. Bathrooms were clean. The wait staff was top-notch and met our expectations. A friend brought us here, and we weren't disappointed at all
The mark of a great restaurant is when you're already excited about what you'll try when you come back. That's where my head was at after leaving casa bond. Fine dining Mexican, with familiar, but also elevated & unique flavors. They hit it out of the park with the best, most complex mole I've tasted outside Mexico, delicious salsas, fresh and warm tortillas, perfect esquites. And a staff that treated us like we've been invited into their home - thanks for the experience folks.
I’ve had Mexican food before but never like this! I was beyond impressed with this beautiful establishment. From the moment we walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. The decor was stunning but most of all our servers were simply amazing!! Valdinia and Camila. Valdinina make some great food recommendations, she was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and was very attentive during our visit. We also had a visit from the manager Luis who came over to say hello and see if we needed anything, You are taken care of throughout your time there. Great food and great service are always appreciated and I will definitely go back! Thank you to all the staff who made sure we had a great dining experience-you rock!!!!
Checked out Casa Bond last week. I went early and ate at the bar. Staff is wonderful. My spicy margarita was terrific and both the dishes that I ordered were delicious. I had the aguachile which is a combination of cooked and raw seafood served ceviche style. And then the bartender recommended I try the Chochinita Pibil which is a shredded pork shoulder with achiote paste, cured lime onion, habanero, chile tetemado. It was SUBLIME. I have added Casa Bond to my roster of favorites and will be back to work my way through the menu. Because I tend to eat early, I experienced a very chill vibe, music was good but not too loud etc. I cannot tell if the place gets rowdy later in the night but if you go in the 7-ish range it is perfect for dining with friends and being able to have a conversation.
If you want to experience some tulumish vives in Mexico, then this is the place to be. The cool vibes and friendly bartenders will not only mix your drinks but also educate you on tequila and/or Mezcal. Server was very attentive throughout the night, food tested so good and drinks were the perfect paring.
Had a great time here! Very good cocktails and food. The amazing bartender, Kadier Abrajan, added to an already great experience there!! Looking forward to going back with friends!!
What a fabulous spot!! My friends and I came here for a girls night dinner before going out, and it was the perfect place. The ambiance is sexy and trendy, and the food and drink menu has a great variety. There’s something for everyone! Great hospitality and service as well. Luis, the manager (in the photo), came over and personally greeted us and gave us free drinks! Luis and his team are doing an amazing job and can’t wait to be back.
Delish! Hosted a group of 30 here for my birthday. Staff was super accommodating with my group, printed me custom menus, and gave us a great deal for pre-fixe. Everyone enjoyed the food and set-up. Thank you Vivian & Luis at Casa Bond for making our experience great!
I held my bachelorette brunch here with 9 friends and we all had a great time. Service was wonderful. Food was tasty. And the space was trendy. They did not make us feel rushed and we were really able to catch up, relax and enjoy a delicious meal together.
The aguachile ceviche was extraordinarily good. The broth has complex, delicious layers of flavor, presumably from the 7 different dried and fresh chiles. The owner (?) said that the salt and spices are all imported from Mexico. Everyone from bussers to waiters were sweet, and a Mexicali was the perfect accompaniment.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and crafted drinks. Welcoming friendly staff and good atmosphere at a bar and restaurant.
Stop by to have a drink while waiting to go to a Soho debate. Love the look and feel of this new Restaurant. . Nice cocktail menu, drinks were delicious and bartender friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back to have dinner.
My wife and I have been coming to Casa Bond for nearly a year now, and it’s become one of our absolute favorite spots in the city. When we first moved to NYC from South Florida, we were on the hunt for a great margarita—and that search led us here. What started as a casual visit quickly turned into a regular tradition. Over time, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and getting to know the bartenders—who now feel more like friends. Casa Bond has truly become a second home for us. The drinks are incredible, always thoughtful and creative, with unique takes on the classics that keep us coming back. And the food? It’s outstanding. This isn’t the typical Mexican fare you might expect. It’s elevated, crafted with high-quality, authentic ingredients that highlight just how special this cuisine can be. We’ll always have a soft spot for this place. Whether we’re stopping in for a full dinner or just grabbing a drink at the bar, Casa Bond never disappoints. P.S. Happy hour at the bar is one of the best vibes in town—great prices and even better energy.
Tight but a good venue for new artist and organizers pls add second bathroom . Shout out to the specials on 1/19 that’s was clutch
classic new york staple for up and coming bands, saw “something missing “ and they rocked, the sound was amazing for the first band but had some issues for the following bands, couldn’t hear anything on stage right unless i went to that side but all in all good drinks, great music and a fun atmosphere
This is a fantastic spot for live music lovers. The bar has an intimate atmosphere, making it the perfect place to really enjoy the performances. The sound quality is excellent, and the drinks are generous—definitely giving you great value. The live music lineups are always top-notch, featuring a mix of talented artists/djs/comedians. It’s a great place to unwind, catch some live tunes, and enjoy a drink or two. Highly recommend for a night out!
I’ve been here a few times but most recently this past weekend for the electric feel dance party. It starts later (11 PM). The city was oddly less crowded than usual so this time pace was also not as packed this time. But me and my friends got on the dance floor in the back and pretty soon, the place was jamming out! Definitely plan to come back for more dancing nights out!
Nice space with friendly staff. Margaritas were tasty and strong. The tequila was very smooth. Main concert room is pretty roomy with a lower section and an elevated one... both have room for dancing. The sound mix could have been better, but still a fun experience! Late night dance parties downstairs, and the upstairs area gets pretty packed on weekend nights!
Really sick venue, small and intimate but the “security” guy on duty was extremely aggressive and nearly assaulted several patrons, whoever he is shouldn’t be employed…by anyone. If I were the owner I’d look into his actions and penalize him or fire him because he didn’t make anyone feel secure.
Love these small clubs that seem endless in the Big Apple. 1st time here, as I continue to enjoy the upward career of my friend Hannah Ray Teal and her band. (Please check her out on Spotify!) That's her in the picture...and doing her thing in a small intimate room right off the bar. Typical of these venues is many acts, one after the other, on a given night. Some sound issues apparently, change in set times and general "non-structured" kinda vibe, which all goes with the territory...:) No worries, Hannah and her band adapt easily and were great, crowd was cool and enthusiastic, drinks flowing just fine..,:) Ran into some "old" friends, made some new ones (including a couple of the performers, which is really cool..:) and just a general great NYC type of night...perfect...:) PS...I didn't eat, so no review on food.
Got a chance to visit this bar/music venue last week and had a pretty good time. Three bands performed where the original singer was not very good but the other two bands, who I believe are named Kota Dosa and Familiar Faces were great! The upstairs bouncer is know for giving people a hard time so make sure you have your ID and are of age. Also the downstairs stage can be a little hard to find. Additionally, it is a bit odd they cut off all the bands at 10:45. Put down worry there is music playing upstairs all night!
When you enter the restaurant and pass the bar area your pleasantly surprise by the set up. It is unfortunate the staff are unorganized and quite rude. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink and waited another 25 minutes before I received it. You will be asked repeatedly if you ordered and although you say no, no one ever takes your order.
Went for restaurant week. Sopa de tortilla was meh, not very flavorful and had cilantro despite us asking for no cilantro and the waitress saying that would be fine. Quesadilla looked good but it was underwhelming flavor wise. I've had better ones at cheap Mexican joints/carts. Gobernador was okay but again nothing very special. Looked better than it tasted. Think Los Tacos is better tbh. The cochinita pibil tasted the best out of what we had but still wasn't anything extraordinary. The dessert just seemed like a pretty mid cheesecake. Not bad but also not great. The cocktail was tasty, mostly tasted like juice if that's your kind of thing. The service was ok, they were a little overly attentive except for when it came time to get our check, then we had to flag someone down. Also disrupted our conversation a few times to refill our waters, which would be fairly minor but it was still annoying since we had our glasses to one side but they would fill from the opposite side, holding the jug in our faces. Overall, food looked impressive but the taste and flavor didn't meet expectations nor did it seem to match the price. They also have a credit card fee which I usually only expect at cheap spots/delis. Atmosphere was fine, wasn't too loud or dark/bright.
my friends and i stopped here after work/school for a drink. it’s a nice place, but my friends and i were told by the bartender, matt, it wasn’t a place for people our age (we’re all 21/22) because we asked for lemon drop martinis and green shots cause that’s an “immature drink”. we stayed and hung out for a while and were the only ones there until closer to midnight when we were starting to head out. we ordered a few shots before leaving and matt told us “i’ll get them for you but please don’t give me a hard time. i want to close up and leave”. again, there were still people at the bar and we were about to leave anyway. i told him there was no need to be rude and he could’ve said whatever it was he meant in a more respectful way. he then apologized for offending us and making us emotional. it was honestly just a disappointing end to what was a good night with my girls. we will definitely avoid this spot, i guess maybe until we’re older? idk but we definitely didn’t feel very welcomed here
Extremely loud. Drink was fine (NA) but the menu was underwhelming. The aguachile was not as described. The tostadas were utterly bland. And initially I was brought the wrong order, too.
I had a terrible experience here. While I was in the restroom for just a few minutes, the staff member on duty started banging loudly on the door. When I stepped out, she spoke to me in an extremely rude and hostile way. My friend, who was just waiting for me so we could grab drinks, was also told to leave. She even accused me of things I absolutely wasn’t doing, which felt completely out of line. The whole situation was embarrassing and unprofessional. I’ve never been treated like that at any place before, and I won’t be coming back.
Had two tickets to a party here, but the sets had sadly all wrapped by the time I made it to the venue. Took me over an hour to get there, due to a subway flooding, so I thought I’d have one drink while re-grouping. However the bartender at the street level bar was a total creep. I literally stood at the near empty bar for 10 minutes, as he ignored me and stared into space, refusing to look at me, speak to me or take a drink order. He did randomly give me a water I didn’t ask for. I don’t know if he thought I was drunk or what— but if that’s the case— BOWERY ELECTRIC, please hire a new bartender. I hadn’t had so much as a beer in a good 5 days, and was really just trying to de-stress from the journey, while texting my friends to see where everyone ended up. Anyway, probably will never come back here short of the downstars.
The bartender made possibly the worse New York sour I ever had, when I asked for it he had no idea of what it was. Unsurprisingly, the drink tasted bad, and after I returned it and told him, I asked for two Red stripe beers instead, he had the nerve to charge me again after charging me 40$ for two drinks that were bad. Dont get a cocktail here. This is a dive bar, wearing a cocktail bar costume. They should have more knowledgeable people behind the bar.
matt is a bad bartender!! he under poured all our drinks and was very rude. it’s very disappointing cause we thought it was a cool atmosphere but the bartender really ruined our night.
Lol well I was having an amazing time (I came through for a DJ I know) but then the owner ( he was small, white and rude) quite literally PUSHED me down the stairs from the DJ booth. I was up by the DJ area recording my friend and instead of him saying “excuse me” or anything close to that he barreled through me without saying a word. I was wearing heels so it completely knocked me off balance. Honestly I wish it would’ve so then I could sue this place but I was able to save myself by catching the railing last minute. After he ran into me I looked at him confused to see if it was a mistake but it wasn’t. He proceeded to say “there’s too many people up here”… okay? So let us know that in a friendly way (there were TWO other girls up there besides me). I then watched him walk around the room and be rude to his staff. So I’m leaving 1 star because of him only. The bartenders, the security, and the DJs were AMAZING. This was my first time in the space and I had high hopes. The man who I’m talking about not only ruined my experience but made me not want to come back. Just a miserable person taking his personal stuff out on other people. Side note I work in hospitality (am a bartender) so I’ve dealt with these kind of bosses before. Smh he needs to fix his attitude and quick because the rest of the venue was amazing and showed me an incredible time!
