Exactly the atmosphere you expect and want from a proper dive bar, cheap drinks, and very friendly, welcoming staff.

My fave gay bar in East Village. Chill vibe, super friendly staff, pool table and juke box, what more do you want?

J
Jacky Sheridan

Always a good time here, great service, bartenders are great craic and super welcoming

Nothing like it. A wonderful queer establishment. Jason is the best and has been for years. Can’t wait to come back!

B
Bradley Patchett

Such a safe space, love Jason behind the bar. Always great for a drink/ game of pool

J

Really chill place with good beer selections and decent prices on liquor. Not flashy or shiny but a really down to earth LGTBQ bar.

J
Jay MC Chen

Nice casual gay bar that’s typically bumpin’ on the weekend. No frills drinks and beer; it’s a cute neighborhood spot.

N
Nick Davis

This spot is a hidden gem. Love the atmosphere, love the music and they have a pool table with chill players to vibe with. Chill spot. Bartender David is so dope.

Took my cousin for her birthday and had a great time visiting from Houston Tx! The bartenders Jason and Leo were awesome! Will treasure the memories!

The BOILER ROOM is the most famous gay bar in New York City. Sometimes they take the bus up from Philadelphia and just say "TAKE ME TO THE BOILER ROOM". If you want to go looking, sometimes you can see men kissing each other there. Sometimes they play songs from the 70s. They have somebody watching in case you try to cheat at pool.

J
Jay T Blondek

Finally went to the newer location of one of fav bars of all time. Love the new digs. Always a great time. 🫀🫀

I always stop here when I go to the city. Great. Boys bar on the weekends packed 😎😈🤘🍸🚰♂♂👬🚹🚹💿🎼🎧 juke box style dj machine that takes dollars ...it takes a long time to play a song if u only pay 2 dollars it sux ..I wish they had a DJ..that's my only complaint. If u have a song machine that can let u pick a song it shudnt then go into a fighting order depending on how much money you can do first. Ppl will pay 4 dollars for their song to play first ... But sometimes it nevrer plays... Idk.. I think a DJ wud b cool. But the drinks r 5 dollars and that's so cheap for the city . All well shots too!! Just the bar belt bottles but still that's cool. And the 🐓 is rite up the street . Cool gay boys BLocK in the L.E.S.

What a dive with great employees! Always have fun here. Crowd has changed throughout the years, but locals always return. As long as it can avoid frat girls, it will remain fun

Great dive bar. Pool table and Photo Booth. The bartender Alec is the best. Such a sweetheart.

No frills, but one of my favourite local gay bars. The jukebox is awesome and the clientele are usually pretty fun. Cash only - don't forget!

New location glow up! ✨ Still cash only, still cheap and divey, but NEW pool table and BETTER everything ❤️ Also food now!

Boiler room is awesome but the best part was the adorable Jason... not just a bartender but he kills as a DJ if you’re lucky 🍀

This place is what it says it is... no frills! But that's why I love it. My friends and I always go here when we're in town. The drinks are cheap and strong, great for pregaming a night out.

Great old style gay bar. Nice front outdoor seating. The best is the bartender... incredibly nice and friendly.

WHat more do you want? $4 drinks after 10pm. A great juke box. Great mix of guys. My favorite watering hole without the gay pretension

B

My favorite bar in NYC! Great people. The place where everyone knows your name. Alek is a fantastic bartender.

T
Taije Jackson

I absolutely love this place. Great dive bar. Can get busy on the weekend but it's pretty quiet most of the time. The bartenders rotate but the regular bartender is super friendly (I need to learn his name). Great drinks, great music, great time! I usually pre game there. It usually an older crowd which is nice b/c you dont have to deal with the young pretentious gay NY scene.

R

I always have a great time at Boiler. One of the few gay spaces left where you can drop in, grab a drink, and strike up a conversation. David who usually works on Mondays is super sweet and engaging, brings a lot of energy, and helps bring people together.

Best gay bar in the city Jason and Leo were friendly and great. Well priced drinks. Excited that they’re moving to a new space close by. Will definitely come back soon

J

Talk about a true hidden gem. This cash only gay bar really was a wonderful surprise, the crowd was very friendly- and I enjoyed the vibe of this “dive”. Enjoy a cocktail and meet a new friend.

When you think of classic East Village gay bars, there is no other place that should come to mind. This establishment is more of an institution than anything else. Located just a few blocks from my alma mater, the bar offers some of the best drink specials in town. Not only are the drinks cheap, but they are super strong to. If you are looking for a place to rock out to Kylie Minogue (without feeling guilty), this is the place to be. I have brought gay friends, straight friends, and friends trying to figure it all out. I don't think anyone has been disappointed.

J
John Peters M

Great place to get drinks. When school starts up it can get packed in there on the weekends. Rum and cokes are a must here cheap and tasty. But you could be waiting a while to hear your song play on the juke box.

This is my absolute favorite place in New York City. Jason always takes care of us every time. One of the final true Queer vibes in the city, and a complete miracle. I love boiler room.

j
jada gordon

The bar staff was cool and very knowledgeable. The music and atmosphere of the bar is that of a nostaligic, quintessential, east village dive bar experience. And the drinks are inexpensive!

K

I went to the boiler room out of curiosity on a Friday night around 12am. The crowd was decent. The attitudes of the people there was most definitely chill, sociable and laid back. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I had two shots of tequila. The shots are extremely generous lol. It's a dive with good vibes. My friend and I had a very enjoyable time. Will most def go back.

D
Dildo McFaggins

I've been going to this bar since the late 90's, the drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is comfortable. I usually go on Sunday afternoon where the crowd is more laid-back and the music is awesome. The bartender goes out of his way to keep the music interesting, and not another annoying Britney Spears marathon like you'd find on the west side. It's honestly like an old shirt you keep wearing even though it has holes in it. It's to comfortable to replace and you don't care what it looks like, because it feels so right. My only complaints are the bar stools & the dying AC. Otherwise it's like going to Cheers except the gay dive version.

R
Rose Balchi

I was just going to leave a review to compliment the bartenders for dealing with a super busy and demanding crowd and read the above review. I've been sitting at this bar all night and witnessed the abuse that these bartenders took from some foolish girl and her family. The bartenders tried to keep their cool while being insulted and screamed at. I'm a bartender myself and know exactly how they felt. The customer was awful and entitles. These 2 guys handled the crowd and specifically that horrible girl and her horrible mother like professionals. Cheers to them!

K

Cash only!! They have an ATM. The bartender was very welcoming and since we were waiting around for a movie, shared some stories about the neighborhood with us, in addition to generally good conversation.

Been coming here for a while now and I love this place. Even though it’s run down and kinda gross the bartenders are always cool. Jason is the best! Great DJ and funny as hell. He always makes it a good time for me and the bar regulars. I’ll miss this place

I have been coming to boiler room for what feels like a lifetime. I hadn't stopped by since a little after the pandemic hot dogs were a thing in NYC, but stopped by last week and I have to say: legendary institution that still holds its iconic legacy. Cheap drinks, great staff (Alec was my bartender and he made sure the night was a joy for every person in the bar!!), and as always one of the best gay dive bars below 14th street (which let's be honest those are truly the queer spaces that keep nyc gay nightlife legendary, unlike some of the other uptown gay bars that come and go before you can finish your drink.) Glad to know Boiler Room is still open. Can't wait to be back. Cheers to more drinks and guys who like to have fun with fun guys!!

A great neighborhood gay bar! I came here on a Monday early evening feeling a little lonely with some time to kill and the Boiler room was perfect. The charming bartender, Ash, made me feel right at home, and soon I was having nice conversations with him and all the patrons. The drinks and conversation were great and the prices are super reasonable! Highly recommended!

Visited from out of state & I haven’t been there in over 10 years. New location & the same type of vibe as the old place but smells much better. Overall a good time with Cheap drinks that aren’t weak. Alex was very pleasant and the guy that took over for him after he got off (sry forget his name) was really nice and made our drinks good. He stayed on top of refills and checking in on us but wasn’t overbearing, and helped different people at once and made it look smooth and easy. I’m in the business so those types of things standout to me lol. Decent music Good service Good and well priced drinks ( $6 well drinks from open to close) We’ll definitely be back before we go back home.

This place is great. John Peacock is an amazing bartender. Great drinks, and he hooked us up with pizza from a place across the street that was incredible!

The Boiler Room in NYC's East Village is a long-standing, no-frills gay dive bar with a loyal local following. Known for its cheap drinks (well drinks from $4-$5, $5 Bud Light/Coors Light pints) and a fantastic jukebox, it offers a casual, unpretentious atmosphere. Expect a mixed crowd and a pool table. Happy hour specials are available. It's cash-only with an ATM on site.

Янни Федорович
Янни Федорович

First of all, they are cash only, so hit up your bank before swinging by if possible. The ATM inside the bar has a fee of $3. Had a great time here, and in one of the most expensive cities in the world the affordable drink prices are refreshing (pun intended), but important to keep in mind that this is a completely different business from what the images show. If you like gay bars this is a very good spot, but the dive bar aesthetic that I was hoping for from previous images is no longer here. The bartender Alec is extremely friendly and a blast to talk with.

Michael Malvone

Such a cute and welcoming place! The people there seemed super friendly and the bartender was nice and helped us find other gay places in town to try out. And you can't beat $6 drinks. We will definitely be back.

One of the most chill spots in the LES, Alec is the best bartender I've ever had the pleasure to hang out with! Drinks are affordable(my mother has trained me not to say the word cheap) and served with perfect banter. You can hang outside, or play on the one pool table. I bring all of my out of town visitor's(they love it) and refer to the Boiler Room as the 'Cheers' of the gay bars. Happy hour is always calm, and after 10pm things really pop off for the late night crowd prepping to go out OUT. Everyone is welcome! An absolute gem. No food served(well a bag of chips if that counts), but you can bring in your eats, so many great close options in the LES. Highly recommend for a true NYC staple.

Dear reader, although it pains me to say it, I have to give this rather dilapidated bar five stars. Why? You ask, with a look of horror on your face. Well… because at this place people actually TALK to each other. I stumbled into here after a fancy evening on the Lower East Side and quickly met a number of gentlemen from all walks of life. Really fantastic stuff, it’s these sorts of meets that hold society together. So, although this place had a crumbling ceiling, a toilet in desperate need of renovation and a forest of mold erupting on its shutters, I am afraid I have to give it a five. Well done the Boiler Room! Although it would be nice if, next time, you accepted a $100 bill NB: Drinks are very cheap here! Being only $18 for three rum and cokes - a bargain!

Eric Sadummy

Come rain or shine, the Boiler Room has been there for roughly 3 decades, and I would feel lost without it. If you don't know the place, you should. Drinks are cheap and good and bartenders are great - they like to make sure you have a good time. And it's Cash Only which is fine by me - there's an ATM by the door.

Great dive bar in the east village. Can get a bit crowded on the weekends. Always fun music on the juke box. Pool table in the back. They always have cheap drinks!

M
Michelle Stevens

Great drink deal, fun dive bar, plus pool! During happy hour you can get a Rolling Rock for $2 which is pretty much the craziest deal I've ever heard of. Depending on the crowd, you could have a great selection of music or a really poor one (it is a jukebox situation). While I was there someone decided to play Rocket Man by Elton John FIVE TIMES so that got old real quick.

My friends and I went here kinda late last night and the vibes were pretty chill. The bar is open till 4, there's no cover at the door, and the bartender, Leo, was very sociable and played some good music (including asking us if we wanted to play anything). The only things I didn't like were 1. the bathroom (it definitely needs renovation) (but was also expected for a dive bar in the les) and 2. you HAVE to buy a drink before you can get water (and they will say no if you ask for a cup of ice instead). As for drinks they probably have cheaper options but I got a bailey's cocktail that was $15 which is a lot for a college student :0 but I definitely enjoyed it.

This place is great during later evenings to night sharp, however, we went there during evening time and it has few people but bar tender was very friendly and funny. We had few drinks as pre game and played pool table. They had photo booth, outdoor seating and other playstations. Drinks are reasonably priced, however, CASH only bar.

K
K W

Giving 3 stars because Alec is a positive to this bar! Alec is the BEST bartender there! Anyways, whoever is the bartender on weekend afternoons is irresponsible, was on his laptop (for God knows what reason), apparently left to do a quick errand, then come back? What’s that about? I tipped him after ordering two glasses of water (I shouldn’t have) and wanted to order myself a drink but I was turned off after he scolded me for getting water. “YOU’RE GONNA HAVE TO GET A DRINK AT SOME POINT, THIS IS A BUSINESS”. I took my business and went to another bar.

C
Carol Benson

Went here once for pool and drinks with my cousin and his boyfriend and it wasn't that ideal of a place. To be honest, it's a bit on the boring side and not that vibrant of a place to hang out for a night. Possibly for a stop for drinks on the way to another place it would be a good option, but for a night out I wouldn't recommend this place. I did enjoy the photo booth though, and sit down couch area to catch up with some friends.

L
Lucas Ondak

Very friendly barista, sort of run of the mill gay dive bar energy w/ pool tables and the like. Cheap drinks. My only complaint was that 1) they didn’t have readily accessible water and 2) the water that I did get tasted moldy/awful. Essentially, I had to ask the bartender who was fairly busy for water because their wasn’t a public cooler. When I eventually got his attention, he was worried the establishment was out of cups and I was only able to get water thanks to a random empty glass he found and cleaned. However, the water from the spout tasted…horrible…stale and sour. One of the friends I came with said that his vodka soda also tasted bad. Anyways, no knock to the staff but I think this place should check their soda dispensers/fountain system.

Low key bar, cash only. Pretty good amount of space for a Saturday night. Service was attentive and friendly enough. Good option if you're looking for something low-key and are already in the area.

If walking into The Boiler Room doesn’t make you crave merlot then I’m asking you to leave. You have to ASK to turn the TouchTunes on. TouchTunes users of all levels welcome - looking at you non-mobile human beings. The desktop is available if needed. Note to self, if you play Ariana Grande or Rihanna you will piss the bartender off. TIP: if you want the bartender to lose his mind - play Kim Petras & Robyn - knows every word. Gays love to post up here with their luggage before moseying down to LGA. You will also learn proper etiquette for how to leave your drink by itself at the bar while going to the bathroom/smoke break. (One napkin on top pierced with a toothpick). The bathroom is what I envision a prison cell to be. Once you turn the faucet on —— you will hear sounds of what seems like a 1987 Ford Taurus engine struggling to start in the middle of a winter solstice. We did not order anything other than red wine, which came in a pint glass. One regret: not utilizing the photo booth.

O
Owen Karst

Wait beers are $9 now!? That means they’ve more than doubled in the last year. Also a lot of these reviews seem to be about the old location…

T
Timoteo Rivera

It's okay. Cash only.....drink pours are okay ....nothing too crazy....decor is dark..... grunge....dive bar vibes. Other than it being cash only, the major turn off is the fact that they have a juke box where they limit your selection....they actively tell you not to play Beyonce, Ariana Grande..etc...for a gay bar...doesn't seem that friendly and free but hey whatever...

The Boiler Room—A Whole New Scene (But Not in a Good Way) Boy, has the Boiler Room changed since the days I used to come here. It’s been revamped, sure—but with that, the gritty charm and neighborhood vibe are long gone. The service is slow, and it no longer feels like the familiar, homey dive bar it once was. Now it seems geared more toward out-of-towners and the broader crowd it’s trying to attract—but it misses the mark. It’s not bad, just not the same.

S
Samantha Levington

I got roofied at this bar, the bartenders were unpleasant and there were sketchy heads. Boiler room? More like roofie room.

How this place get so many stars ? It's supposed to be a gay place. There is most of straight girls. The place is quite empty for a Saturday night.

R
Raven Baker

Yes, this was the only happy hour we could find and although it was dirt cheap, I was really disturbed by the bartender telling my group of friends and I that our music choices on the jukebox WHICH YOU MUST PAY PLAY was too black. Can't wait to tell all of my friends to steer clear of establishment.

T
Tim Rosensteel

The bartender was drunk showing a real class act by arguing over a one dollar bill that I left on the bar, assuming it was his. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a major advocate of bartending when you do it right. All for the Vanderpump rules gang staying on the air until 2030 here. But help a guy out...I can only compensate for solid service when the Bellevue reject isn’t getting smashed behind the bar and flipping a lid over a buck. 1 star only because it was just so sad. Spare yourself and hope for better on Grindr.

M
Mason A

I got robbed here recently. The bartender wasn’t helpful to the police asking him simple questions like if there was cameras, who is manager/owner. I feel this bar was in on it. Beware. Definitely not a safe space.

A
Andrew Brown

This place should get a half star only because of the bartender Kevin, he gave them the half star. To be honest its a white bar and others who try to be white... Clicks... And the drinks suck glad Kevin didn't make my drink... The music sucks. And the people are stuck up. How did it stay around this long. OMG. Don't go it is a waist of time. Trust me. JB signs out. Kisses.

J

The worst. I walk in and it’s a 200-no dance party with a bunch of white guys trying to be Mariah. Tsk.Tsk. I waited four years to give another shot. Red my Yelp review 4 years ago.

Awful service, rude bartenders. Didn’t expect a cocktail bar, but they were deeply offended by us asking for a mixed shot.

Me and my friends spent a lot of money at this place . We decided we wanted to pick some songs on the jukebox , the bartender then skipped 3 of the songs we paid for . When I asked him why he simply said “I don’t wanna listen to that” ….. like what ?? That’s not really your call . He called me the b word for asking for my songs to be played . Then called the cops on me and my friends . Never going here again hope the bar gets shut down . My first gay bar and as a lesbian I’ve never been talked to the way the bartender talked to me . Then he proceeded to tell the cops that they’re allowed to be rude to customers at the bar because it’s “different than other bars “ . Please tell be what bar allows their bartenders to call people such names for asking for what they paid for . I wouldn’t give 0 stars if I could . The sink was broken , the Photo Booth took $20 from me with no cash back . It’s not much to look at anyway . I’d recommend going anywhere but here . Update: To the owner who responded , my money was never returned and your bartender followed us four blocks after we left . If the songs we chose were “inappropriate” (at a bar be so serious ) then they shouldn’t be available for selection at all ! Learn how to run a business ! I work at a bar I know how the system works . I wasn’t the one who became violent my friend who payed was and it was her birthday, I did try to calm her down but I’m my own person as so is she , don’t have staff purposely anger customers then get angry when someone retaliates .

B
Bennett Mansfield

Drinks are cheap, but only because they are watered down and small. Music way too loud for how empty the place was. Bar and bathroom is dirty and bartenders are rude.

A

My friend and I were bar hopping, and decided to go to this bar.. upon getting there I decided not to have another drink as I was driving in the next hour or so (my friend do not drink) but we decide to stay awhile and enjoy the ambience and conversation. While we were sitting we were approached by one of the bartenders who ask if we were getting a drink , we replied not right now. He then replied if you’re not getting a drink then you have to leave! Note, the bar was not full at all and no one else was standing waiting for a seat plus this is a dive bar. It is interesting that the two African Americans were approached in such a rude manner! When some of the other patrons who also weren’t drinking were not approached. So question: Can people only come to this bar if they are drinking? Can they not come for the music, to play pool, to converse? How did you not know that although I may not have bought a drink then I wouldn’t return and frequent this establishment? At that point even if I was about to buy a drink I certainly would not have again!! Need less to say we left! I would NEVER recommend this rude establishment!

I come here every week and always having fun. But this night was hilarious cause bald head bartender at 3:15 turn off music from Jukebox and for my answer ”Excuse me love but we ordered few more song can we listen to one of them please please please?” he said like - ”I think you had enough fun and go out of the bar!”. Excuse me but what the hell is that?! How can even possible bartender can able to speak like this with anyone who came to the bar where people comes for many years?! Okay, I'm sorry but I paid $50 just to order music - did I something wrong?! Isn't how it works? I left enough tips to get some positive vibes from bartenders but I didn't understand why he supposes to be that much rude with people who are drinking at the bar, paying bills and left more than enough tips?! It's the most homophobic vibe I get in NYC for the last 10 years!

Bartender was super rude and refused to give us water Edit: typically businesses with liquor licenses are obligated to serve free tap water as it is a liability to refuse water. My group and I also were not there for a while, we asked for whatever as soon as we arrived.

One of the absolutely most misogynistic and disgusting atmospheres I have ever had the displeasure of being a patron of. The worst of it was when I asked for a cup of water for my friend—the bartender rolled his eyes, took a DIRTY USED CUP from the bar, and filled it with water. It tasted like vodka. I would absolutely write this establishment up to the BBB. Putrid. Vile. Disrespectful and corrupt.

The bartender mimed shooting themselves in the mouth to another customer when I asked for water. The bar had maybe 15 people there and it seemed disorganized and chaotic. I am a bartender myself and could have done a better job in 10 minutes than that rude, polarizing person behind the bar last night. Get it together.

The guy at the bar on Sunday nights it’s literally so desperate. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We were bar hopping and I was about to give him a tip but I didn’t yet bc my husband was in the bathroom so I was waiting for him. He literally said to me “just to let y’all know I don’t make margaritas for free” with an attitude, like Jesus relax you’re gonna get your tip. He was just overall rude and not friendly at all.

One of the worst experience in a gay bar actually visited in the world: no menu, no welcoming employee, no card payment and no maintenance of the place. If you are looking for cheap drinks, it may be good but forget the rest.

Felt unsafe and unwanted. Alex (I believe the name of the bartender) was visibly intoxicated and his behaviour proved so. He screamed at patrons, threatened them and threw people out only for having their bags on the bar top. This whole display was very unsettling and made me quite nervous that something further was going to happen.

Came here on my last night in NYC. The bartender had terrible customer service, he was rude and rolling his eyes. Him and the bouncer seemed both drunk. Out of 5 days in NYC this was the worst experience I’ve had.

Went here last night at about 9pm, straight after getting a drink at the bar, we went and sat down at a table, two young queens then approach us and accused us of steeling their phone. Turned out his friend was holding it for him. Even after all this, they still was abusive towards us saying we should go back to our own country. (Bf and I are Australian) I told the owner about it, he let them stay and they continued with it. We then left. All in a matter of 15 minutes. If you love bitchy young queens then this place is for you. DIVE

This was my first time at this place and it wasn’t the best!! The bartender is RACIST. He was pressuring me into tipping him and I let a few friend order a drink and a tip wasn’t mentioned. He said “this is how I make my money”

Old bartender berated friends. Made everyone feel unwelcome-not the type they focus on? A lot to deal with for a dump. Skip. History doesn’t mean class<~ Would have been happy to buy everyone in the bar a drink. (Ended up spending $$$ at another joint)-how about talking not screaming?

This place has gone completely downhill. Bartenders are rude and super slow at service. No customer service skills at all. But the kicker is the BATHROOM. Disgusting. Just filthy. One sink is broken and they ask you to use the other bathroom. The other bathroom one of the sink knobs is broken and the toilet paper is hanging from TAPE. I mean I get it’s a dive but where do we draw the line at dive and condemned? Also it’s cash only? If you do come here please go to the bathroom before, save yourself the trauma.

It’s hard enough to be queer and happy these days without queer people trying to put other queer people down in a bar meant for…queer people. My friends and I went to The Boiler Room this past weekend and our experience there left me speechless at the time. It’s more of a dive joint which we didn’t know. The bartenders were initially off-putting and rude, but everyone has bad nights (all of us have worked in a bar before, we get it). After paying for a song to come on, a bartender skipped it and we joked around about being upset. The bartender said “there’s other people here, it’s not your sweet 16” and laughed towards the other guests to get support. I certainly hope that made him feel better, because it definitely put a damper on our night. Our energy might’ve been a bit misplaced but our fun was harmless and not interrupting anyone’s night. All this to say, I would understand if we needed to keep it down bc that’s the type of place this is, and we definitely would have had we been asked to do so! But to be met with what was essentially bullying in a space where we were excited to let loose and feel safe is wildly disappointing.

Both of the bartenders on 10/8 were really mean towards the patrons. Entitled, and it makes sense why they got shut down. Horrible service, and they are horrible towards their own community. *Edit* thank you to the owner for responding and informing me it wasn’t shut down. Whether or not it was or is relocating, it doesn’t change the fact that the service was awful. It doesn’t matter if the bartenders “strive” for great service, they failed! Please do better.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! come to the boiler room manhattan if you’d like to sit and stare at the people you came with, but of course only if they’re men. my femme/lesbian friends and i were charged more money for the same drinks than our male friends ( cash only… i should have realized they’d be scamming) and when this was questioned the bartenders began antagonizing my friends and i. They then began trying to recruit other patrons sitting at the bar to join in on their blatant bullying, claiming we were being rowdy and aggressive. Being that this was the first stop on a birthday bar crawl, all of us were dead sober and this nearly ruined our friend's birthday. All in all, QUEER WOMEN BELONG IN QUEER SPACES and i’m tired of non-inclusive “lgbtq+” bars ran by bitter geriatric misogynists.

Ordered two shots. My first order of the night. Bartender just had to open his mouth and say "ever heard about tipping". You know, I would've Ordered more drinks, since its the beginning of the night. But saying that in a very disrespectful tone, A customer would leave. I left of course after that. As the owner, you would evaluate your workers. As it won't bring more business. I dont know what it was, but saying that was off putting. In the first place, glad I didn't tip. Be more humble. I always tip, you didn't deserve it in that case.

I’ve never had worse service in my life. A friend and I walked in and within 3 minutes a bartender (didn’t get his name, but worked the 11pm-12am shift) was at our necks demanding we buy a drink. He then gave us tons of attitude when we asked about pricing. We didn’t tip because of his rude attitude and he came up to us and argued. Genuinely never met more entitled people. This is the kind of entitlement you can’t allow in a service-based industry. Truly disgusting behavior. (For the record, no one was bargaining for lower prices, we just asked for what the prices were. And, we did bring cash, we paid for the shots full price. Your bartenders make up lies about the clientele while clearly intoxicated)
