What a fabulous spot!! My friends and I came here for a girls night dinner before going out, and it was the perfect place. The ambiance is sexy and trendy, and the food and drink menu has a great variety. There’s something for everyone! Great hospitality and service as well. Luis, the manager (in the photo), came over and personally greeted us and gave us free drinks! Luis and his team are doing an amazing job and can’t wait to be back.

Delish! Hosted a group of 30 here for my birthday. Staff was super accommodating with my group, printed me custom menus, and gave us a great deal for pre-fixe. Everyone enjoyed the food and set-up. Thank you Vivian & Luis at Casa Bond for making our experience great!

I held my bachelorette brunch here with 9 friends and we all had a great time. Service was wonderful. Food was tasty. And the space was trendy. They did not make us feel rushed and we were really able to catch up, relax and enjoy a delicious meal together.

The aguachile ceviche was extraordinarily good. The broth has complex, delicious layers of flavor, presumably from the 7 different dried and fresh chiles. The owner (?) said that the salt and spices are all imported from Mexico. Everyone from bussers to waiters were sweet, and a Mexicali was the perfect accompaniment.

Stop by to have a drink while waiting to go to a Soho debate. Love the look and feel of this new Restaurant. . Nice cocktail menu, drinks were delicious and bartender friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back to have dinner.

When we first moved to NYC from South Florida, we were on the hunt for a great margarita—and that search led us here. What started as a casual visit quickly turned into a regular tradition. Over time, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and getting to know the bartenders—who now feel more like friends. Casa Bond has truly become a second home for us. The drinks are incredible, always thoughtful and creative, with unique takes on the classics that keep us coming back. And the food? It’s outstanding. This isn’t the typical Mexican fare you might expect. It’s elevated, crafted with high-quality, authentic ingredients that highlight just how special this cuisine can be. We’ll always have a soft spot for this place. Whether we’re stopping in for a full dinner or just grabbing a drink at the bar, Casa Bond never disappoints. P.S. I had my Yelpie celebration after party at Von Bar. Yeah, you read that right. Yelpie winner. I bet you didn't know whose review you were reading right now huh. This my 2nd Yelpie in 2 years. Back to back like I'm Jordan 96-97. Anyways, Von Bar was the perfect place to host the after party. They were so helpful and communicative, and said we could just have people downstairs without having to rent it out as long as guests didn't show up too late. They let us bring a whole ass cake and lit the sparklers on it that ended up setting off the fire alarm. It was lit. I know you're probably sitting there wondering what my acceptance speech was so I'm putting the transcript below: "I know we're in a subjective business, but the truth is, I'm really in pursuit of greatness. I know people don't usually talk like that, but I want to be one of the greats. I'm as inspired by Hunter S Thompson, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Virginia Woolf as I am by Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson, Michael Jordan and I want to be up there... Game 6. I'm deeply grateful. This bar is a beauty. Old charm, ambience, and interior. Music levels just right, allowing conversations. Drinks are fairly priced. Has a downstairs sitting area too. None of the seats upstairs face each other, so you have to sit next to each other.

Truly a hidden treasure. Second time visiting this place. Had no idea the first time that and this placed consisted of all these different rooms and levels. Definitely worth visiting and exploring. But don't just stop at the first bar upstairs. Look around explore the place. There's many many more rooms and levels that if you don't know then you probably won't find. The vibe is awesome The crowd is awesome the service is awesome. Definitely recommend for a great time. People actually smile here and have fun. Don't miss it!!!!

Super nice cozy bar with reasonably priced cocktails and beers! They have also another room downstairs but it was closed when I came. The espressos martinis are really good and the staff is friendly ! I would recommend if you are looking for a place to have a drink with your friends or doing pregames !

good wine for an almost dive bar. go at 8 for a chill evening. the night will progress to more of a club vibe esp if you go to the basement for some dancing. super cool aesthetic and calming decor upstairs.

Shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone how great this place is. Just come in in, relax by candlelight, listen to the good tunes, appreciate the lack of pretension and keep the secret. Don’t tell your friends. And don’t post a five star review like I’m doing now. Random detail as post-script: When I was last there (Jan 2023), the bartender was playing very cool Belgian music and other tunes in French. Tres chic. But still sans attitude, which was great.

Shhh, don't tell anyone about this place because it's fantastic!!! Happy Hour Frozen Drinks is what brought me inside. They also have a huge outdoor set up on a Bleeker Street closed to traffic. When you go inside the bar is right there with some of the coolest bartenders around. Go downstairs and there is a second bar and a dance floor, which kinda looks like a fighting ring but whatever. And if you're hungry they have snacks! Delicious pizza, I got with prosciutto and greens, fresh from the brick oven on a wooden palette and into my belly. Oh, and did I mention that they are dog friendly! Sh, don't tell anybody and let's keep this place our secret ;)

This place reminds me of the dives I used to hangout in when I was in art school in Baltimore. Loved the old school vibe, dour bar tender and vintage look of the place. I’ve been to pubs in Edinburgh like this... Ahhh to be young again and seated in a nook having deep conversations surrounded by age old furniture and hip kids. I hear that they have a dance floor downstairs w dope music but we had to leave for our next appointment. I can imagine this place being lit at night.

A solid - Almost Berlin style - watering hole with pretty average prices and selection, with a consistently nice crowd (when not filled to the brink) and incredibly nice staff. Masked as a no frills wine bar this place's got a secret though.. Nope! Not the $5 and up drafts. Not the sparse seating arrangements.... Yup! stuff's going on downstairs I tell ya. Bring ya dancing vibes and find out for yourself ;)

I was here for the Listen Bar pop up event. Von seemed cool enough of a place to grab a drink but there we're no signs or help directing people to the Listen Bar event. Many of looking like lost lambs but eventually ventured further back and found a second room with the entrance to the basement. Cool that Von hosted the Listen Bar event as nonalcoholic bars try to find a footing. The Listen Bar event started late. I ended up getting stuck in a corner by the bar because the event was so well attended. It was packed! The downstairs bar was a nice space, even if I only got to experience one corner of it. The NA Actual Sunshine cocktail and the Pilot Kombucha was tasty. Will attend future Listen Bar events if they do more pop ups or get a permanent space.

When you enter the restaurant and pass the bar area your pleasantly surprise by the set up. It is unfortunate the staff are unorganized and quite rude. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink and waited another 25 minutes before I received it. You will be asked repeatedly if you ordered and although you say no, no one ever takes your order.

Went for restaurant week. Sopa de tortilla was meh, not very flavorful and had cilantro despite us asking for no cilantro and the waitress saying that would be fine. Quesadilla looked good but it was underwhelming flavor wise. I've had better ones at cheap Mexican joints/carts. Gobernador was okay but again nothing very special. Looked better than it tasted. Think Los Tacos is better tbh. The cochinita pibil tasted the best out of what we had but still wasn't anything extraordinary. The dessert just seemed like a pretty mid cheesecake. Not bad but also not great. The cocktail was tasty, mostly tasted like juice if that's your kind of thing. The service was ok, they were a little overly attentive except for when it came time to get our check, then we had to flag someone down. Also disrupted our conversation a few times to refill our waters, which would be fairly minor but it was still annoying since we had our glasses to one side but they would fill from the opposite side, holding the jug in our faces. Overall, food looked impressive but the taste and flavor didn't meet expectations nor did it seem to match the price. They also have a credit card fee which I usually only expect at cheap spots/delis. Atmosphere was fine, wasn't too loud or dark/bright.

Extremely loud. Drink was fine (NA) but the menu was underwhelming. The aguachile was not as described. The tostadas were utterly bland. And initially I was brought the wrong order, too.

God if I could leave less than 1 star for this place I would. I went to a private event here and my phone got stolen. Everyone who went to the event had to be on a list and I’m positive no one on the list would’ve stole my phone so it was most likely an inside job. When I showed up the next day 2 other people had things missing. The place SUCKS, the man I spoke with was so dismissive when I told him everything. Hate this place and never going back.

Very rude bartender, visibly drunk, got us standing 10 minutes just for him to flirt with female customers. Claimed that I didn’t pay when I even showed him the receipt. And proceeded to threaten us that don’t called him while he’s busy flirting or we will get kicked out. EXCUSE ME???? PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR BARTENDER MORE ABOUT HOW TO SERVE PEOPLE BETTER.
