Casa Bond NoHo has some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. In the pictures below, I ordered the Quesadilla De Langosta and the Suadero Tacos. Each dish was bursting with flavor, it was plated beautifully, and came to the table hot. They also made my Devil’s Margarita correctly, too. My waitress was so patient with me as I tried my best to pronounce the titles of each dish. The staff were friendly, observant, and attentive to each customer. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will come again, and again.
We didn't have a reservation on February 14, but they accommodated us instantly in a packed restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive although it was crowded. The entire staff we encountered were very friendly and nice. We shared a few appetizers to start. The ceviche was truly amazing delicious, and nice presentations!! Portions were big. Good cocktails selection. Desserts looked delicious. Omg the cocktails are awesome hit the spot. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes. I highly recommend the mezcal Chocolate
My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Casa Bond and we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the courses/cocktails. We had never been here or even heard of the venue but it made sense after our time there because it is brand new. Our server was very attentive and did a great job describing the 5 courses throughout the duration of our visit, she also made great recommendations for cocktails. By the end, we were greeted and thanked for our patronage by a man named Luis (unsure his position but we assumed owner/GM)! Thank you for the shots and we will definitely be back! Cheers 🙏🏼
Food is definitely to come back for. The steak and shrimp taco will be the best taco of your life. Super focused in cocktails as competitive as the top 50 bars in New York. Elite level mixology. Kudos to Luis Villanueva who executes the beverage.
Made my visit on a slow Tuesday night. Kitchen times seemed off, but we weren't in a hurry, so we just enjoyed our night. It started off with fresh guacamole and a nice chorizo fundito. Both were prepared perfectly. For our mains, we had the shrimp and steak tacos and enchilada suizas. Again, it is made perfectly. For dessert with finished with their tasty churos. We sat outside as the September weather was perfect. The inside was beautiful. The bar was fully stocked with anything to satisfy your cocktail needs. Bathrooms were clean. The wait staff was top-notch and met our expectations. A friend brought us here, and we weren't disappointed at all
The mark of a great restaurant is when you're already excited about what you'll try when you come back. That's where my head was at after leaving casa bond. Fine dining Mexican, with familiar, but also elevated & unique flavors. They hit it out of the park with the best, most complex mole I've tasted outside Mexico, delicious salsas, fresh and warm tortillas, perfect esquites. And a staff that treated us like we've been invited into their home - thanks for the experience folks.
I’ve had Mexican food before but never like this! I was beyond impressed with this beautiful establishment. From the moment we walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. The decor was stunning but most of all our servers were simply amazing!! Valdinia and Camila. Valdinina make some great food recommendations, she was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and was very attentive during our visit. We also had a visit from the manager Luis who came over to say hello and see if we needed anything, You are taken care of throughout your time there. Great food and great service are always appreciated and I will definitely go back! Thank you to all the staff who made sure we had a great dining experience-you rock!!!!
Checked out Casa Bond last week. I went early and ate at the bar. Staff is wonderful. My spicy margarita was terrific and both the dishes that I ordered were delicious. I had the aguachile which is a combination of cooked and raw seafood served ceviche style. And then the bartender recommended I try the Chochinita Pibil which is a shredded pork shoulder with achiote paste, cured lime onion, habanero, chile tetemado. It was SUBLIME. I have added Casa Bond to my roster of favorites and will be back to work my way through the menu. Because I tend to eat early, I experienced a very chill vibe, music was good but not too loud etc. I cannot tell if the place gets rowdy later in the night but if you go in the 7-ish range it is perfect for dining with friends and being able to have a conversation.
If you want to experience some tulumish vives in Mexico, then this is the place to be. The cool vibes and friendly bartenders will not only mix your drinks but also educate you on tequila and/or Mezcal. Server was very attentive throughout the night, food tested so good and drinks were the perfect paring.
Had a great time here! Very good cocktails and food. The amazing bartender, Kadier Abrajan, added to an already great experience there!! Looking forward to going back with friends!!
What a fabulous spot!! My friends and I came here for a girls night dinner before going out, and it was the perfect place. The ambiance is sexy and trendy, and the food and drink menu has a great variety. There’s something for everyone! Great hospitality and service as well. Luis, the manager (in the photo), came over and personally greeted us and gave us free drinks! Luis and his team are doing an amazing job and can’t wait to be back.
Delish! Hosted a group of 30 here for my birthday. Staff was super accommodating with my group, printed me custom menus, and gave us a great deal for pre-fixe. Everyone enjoyed the food and set-up. Thank you Vivian & Luis at Casa Bond for making our experience great!
I held my bachelorette brunch here with 9 friends and we all had a great time. Service was wonderful. Food was tasty. And the space was trendy. They did not make us feel rushed and we were really able to catch up, relax and enjoy a delicious meal together.
The aguachile ceviche was extraordinarily good. The broth has complex, delicious layers of flavor, presumably from the 7 different dried and fresh chiles. The owner (?) said that the salt and spices are all imported from Mexico. Everyone from bussers to waiters were sweet, and a Mexicali was the perfect accompaniment.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and crafted drinks. Welcoming friendly staff and good atmosphere at a bar and restaurant.
Stop by to have a drink while waiting to go to a Soho debate. Love the look and feel of this new Restaurant. . Nice cocktail menu, drinks were delicious and bartender friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel welcome. Will definitely be coming back to have dinner.
My wife and I have been coming to Casa Bond for nearly a year now, and it’s become one of our absolute favorite spots in the city. When we first moved to NYC from South Florida, we were on the hunt for a great margarita—and that search led us here. What started as a casual visit quickly turned into a regular tradition. Over time, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and getting to know the bartenders—who now feel more like friends. Casa Bond has truly become a second home for us. The drinks are incredible, always thoughtful and creative, with unique takes on the classics that keep us coming back. And the food? It’s outstanding. This isn’t the typical Mexican fare you might expect. It’s elevated, crafted with high-quality, authentic ingredients that highlight just how special this cuisine can be. We’ll always have a soft spot for this place. Whether we’re stopping in for a full dinner or just grabbing a drink at the bar, Casa Bond never disappoints. P.S. Happy hour at the bar is one of the best vibes in town—great prices and even better energy.
My girlfriends and I popped in for a drink on the coldest day in January. We sat at the front booth and Rachel was warm, welcoming, and endlessly attentive. Can’t wait to make this our new spot!
This place is so great, a neighborhood gem. The drinks are delicious, the food is yummy, but the best part of this place is the staff! They treated our group so nicely especially the blonde waitress! She was super on top of it and made us feel right at home. Definitely will be coming back soon!
We had a great night at the Wren! The chicken sandwich was great. The kitchen was super accommodating and the cocktails were excellent - we particularly loved the Pepper Stepper and the Naked and Afraid. Overall, great bar, but there are a lot of great bars in New York. What made our evening particularly memorable was our phenomenal server, Addie. She knew the menu very well and was able to offer personalized recommendations, always checked in with us in a timely fashion, and was overall a bubbly, kind, and welcome presence throughout our evening. Truly the best service we’ve received in New York. Servers like Addie are what make restaurants memorable. Thank you!! We will be back ❤️
My partner and I love this place. If you like chic and vibey, this is it. Shannon and Quincy are incredible hosts, warm and welcoming, and so willing to making sure the experience is tailored to your expectations. Greatest time!
Have been here twice now and had Addie both times! She was so attentive, kind and made the experience. 10/10 nyc bar, gets a bit busy but not overwhelming. Would recommend to anyone!
The Wren has some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. They accommodated my request for comfortable sitting and made sure I picked the table. I went for brunch and had the French toast, eggs scrambled soft with cheese, and bacon. Their bacon is thick and reminds me of home! I would recommend going for brunch and a refreshing drink. Make sure you tell them your friend, Cotton sent you!
Excellent spot in the East Village for a proper cocktail. Popped in before dinner elsewhere a couple weeks ago. Only a couple in there at the time, but the vibe was nice. Had a great conversation with the bartender, Esto. Super nice guy and really easy to talk to. And the prices were fair considering the location. I'd definitely come back.
Great cocktails, amazing vibe and excellent service. Opens at 4pm, we came in early and had to wait from a nearby place. It was worth the wait. Clean bathroom, spacious and great vibe with real flowers. I had the old fashioned and it was strong. My friend had the spa water and absolutely loved it. We had come for the cocktails!!
Fantastic ! I recommend this place ! We went there for brunch. Good choice of food and appetizers. Taste and cooking is well performed. Cocktails are well balance, event the Beet one is delicious !! Service was great, atmosphere as well. Definitely a saved place and go to for good food !
Good vibe and drink. Nice menu for brunch and not to busy for the table of 2. Their bar seats very nice actually. This was our option B that day but we were so happy and will come back definitely! We order french toast and mushroom scamble eggs withi side of bacon. Everything is just so nice and quick.
Lovely little place. Came here for brunch on a Saturday, around midday. We had bubble & squeak and the mushroom scramble plus a side of bacon. Drinks were great, lovely cocktails and really nice hot and spiced apple cider. Great food, really attentive staff, perfect way to end our trip.
The weather in NY was hot and we just wanted to take a seat, have a bite and drink. This is the first place we cross by, and went for it. I'm glad we did, it was ok and I'm not sure if I'd come back especifically to this place, but it wasn't a disappointment. The service was really good and we get at a time when there were many tables available. The drinks were really good and the food is ok. The Brussel sprouts different from other versions with cranberries and pumpkin seeds was really tasty and really good. Btw, one hour later this place was packed. I'll invite it try this place.
Nice bar/restaurant with a solid brunch offering. There’s some extra seating tucked away at the back, and tables in front on the Bowery which is nice on a Summer day. He food is hearty and generously proportioned. One minor issue was some of the bread we were given was moldy, but the waitstaff were extremely professional and turned the situation around with a genuine apology and removed the whole meal from our bill: much more than expected and improved our whole experience. We’ll give it another go when we’re in the area, although the other minor quibble is there is no espresso machine. All the coffee is French Press.
When you enter the restaurant and pass the bar area your pleasantly surprise by the set up. It is unfortunate the staff are unorganized and quite rude. Waited 10 minutes to order a drink and waited another 25 minutes before I received it. You will be asked repeatedly if you ordered and although you say no, no one ever takes your order.
Sat outside, had some drinks, good vibe (inside seemed cool too). But the service was bad (sat without a drink for ~20 min at a time) and the veggie burger tasted like it came out of the freezer. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing, but not nearly good enough for the price.
I don't know what it was about this place, but left feeling very uninspired. Came here for drinks, and when we got there the host was going back and forth on whether we would be able to sit outside or not: Snip, snap! Snip, snap! We did end up getting a seat outside, and the ambiance was nice but the traffic going up and down bowery had me unable to hear my own thoughts at points. After a subpar espresso martini, I pivoted to a Watermelon High that also ended up being subpar. Just a bit too sugary for my liking. Wish I could give 3.5 stars, as this was the poster child experience for 3.5 stars.
The lights draw you in and the drinks make you stay. The ambiance of Wren is enjoyable. We sat for a quick bite and soon realized time was going. The drinks were good. Our server gave us his opinion and helped make a great decision on drinks. Fries were good, especially with the white sauce. The fish and chips were good. Chicken sandwich was fulling. But the macaroni and cheese was missing something. Made with a cream sauce, shredded cheese on top, not melted and a spoonful of bread crumbs. Not the best idea.
Went for restaurant week. Sopa de tortilla was meh, not very flavorful and had cilantro despite us asking for no cilantro and the waitress saying that would be fine. Quesadilla looked good but it was underwhelming flavor wise. I've had better ones at cheap Mexican joints/carts. Gobernador was okay but again nothing very special. Looked better than it tasted. Think Los Tacos is better tbh. The cochinita pibil tasted the best out of what we had but still wasn't anything extraordinary. The dessert just seemed like a pretty mid cheesecake. Not bad but also not great. The cocktail was tasty, mostly tasted like juice if that's your kind of thing. The service was ok, they were a little overly attentive except for when it came time to get our check, then we had to flag someone down. Also disrupted our conversation a few times to refill our waters, which would be fairly minor but it was still annoying since we had our glasses to one side but they would fill from the opposite side, holding the jug in our faces. Overall, food looked impressive but the taste and flavor didn't meet expectations nor did it seem to match the price. They also have a credit card fee which I usually only expect at cheap spots/delis. Atmosphere was fine, wasn't too loud or dark/bright.
Extremely loud. Drink was fine (NA) but the menu was underwhelming. The aguachile was not as described. The tostadas were utterly bland. And initially I was brought the wrong order, too.
The food was good I’ll rate it an 8/10 but the service from the host was terrible she was giving us attitude and never payed attention to us the waiter was a guy and he was very good but I just have a problem with the blonde host just because of her I will never go again …
