My wife and I came over here eat at Del Taco. At first we were disappointed the Del Taco closed and there was a new Taqueria. But we were hungry and it sounded good so we gave it a shot. My wife and I agree that it was an 8 out of 10 experience. The gentleman assisting us at the counter gave me a great suggestion on what to try and it was delicious. He even provided samples of the meat. Very flavorful and juicy. He was very helpful. They provided us with chips and salsa and our drinks immediately. We only had to wait a few minutes for a meal to be delivered to our table. Probably less than 5 minutes. The portions were not high but they were very reasonable. We both left feeling full. So I took two points off of the possible 10 because some of the chips they gave us for slightly burnt and they worked salted very consistently. Some of them are over salted and some of them had no salt. That's minor though. Also I felt my beans were a little firm and not fully cooked. In addition to that they have a system when somebody orders it's very loud and it filled the whole dining area as they communicated with our customer. This last point is kind of trivial but they were mopping right by our table when we were eating. The smell of the mop and cleaning solutions directed from the tastes of my meal. But we were eating 30 minutes before they close and I guess that's expected. And it is good to see that they do clean well. When we were done eating our dishes and garbage were cleaned up promptly. That was kind of nice. He also refilled are sodas and brought out some more chips for me. He also offered me extra tortillas a couple of times during my meal. Overall my wife and I decided we will definitely come back. I would invite you to come enjoy this new restaurant in Newark CA.

Limited vegetarian options but the ones I had were really good! I tried the veggie burrito with red sauce to make it wet and that was great! The quesadilla looked more like a burrito (not sure if there was some mixup in the delivery, the tortilla was grilled though so I'm not sure) but the taste was really good. They were both packed with lots of rice beans guac cheese bell peppers onions etc.. The size of each of those is quite big (the 2 items were excess for 2 people). A few additional veggies like mushrooms would make them even better.

My father-in-law had recommended this place, the food is delicious, the service is excellent, I recommend the carnitas the flavor remember me Mexico, the tongue it's tender and delicious, and the pastor is Guadalajara style which was the best of what we ate. The carne asada lacked a bit of flavor and had some chubbiness, although since I ordered it with chorizo it improved the flavor. The marinated poll has a similar flavor to the pastor and that makes it very tasty, I recommend it. We ate inside and their service was great, we will try another day the take out.

Stayed in Newark for my daughter's soccer tournament. We were looking for a place to eat for dinner so happy we came across this place! Good food, great service and generous portions of food. I would be in big trouble if this place was near my home LOL I would go there for breakfast, lunch & dinner! Next time I'm I'm Newark or passing by I'm definitely coming back

Our typical weekend routine includes a trip to Los Gallos Taqueria for a set of two or three quesabirria tacos. These tacos are the best! It’s a perfect combination of taste and texture as you take a bite of the crispy crunchy shell after dipping it into the quesabirria soup/sauce. You also get free nacho chips included with your meal. The staff here is top notch. They are fast, efficient and just a very nice, helpful group of folks.

AZMAZING!! This was my first time here and let me tell you it's the best burrito I've had since before quarantine. Very friendly staff, i was able to practice my spanish with the person that took the order. delicious and fresh food. We sat outside and they brought chips and salsa. Very fresh ingredients in everything. I tried the shrimp burrito and my husband had the CA burrito. Both came out quickly and big! If you're super hungry their large burrito will do the trick.

Delicious enchilada plate. Loved the option to choose any of their taco meats (I chose carnitas and lengua) for the enchiladas, as well as green or red sauce. Drive through was very easy and fast. No complaints whatsoever. Que rico!

Having the super bowl for the third time, it is my go to item. Food portion is bit heavy for me😄

I ordered regular nachos and a chicken burrito. Regular nachos were only 4.50 but is a meal in itself. Burrito had very little filler and was 75% meat. The grilled chicken was well seasoned and had a dark flavorful sear. My goto spot from now on. Went during 3 PM though so it was pretty empty.

There was no Wi-Fi but the food was really good there the salad with spicy was way too spicy and the rice was good and also the beans with cheese the shrimp tasted like chicken

I ordered a super burrito with pastor and chorizo (extra spicy) with a 32oz horchata to wash it all down! The burrito was DELICIOUSLY MASSIVE, and the horchata was smooth and tasty! I was dragging my feet when leaving. 😅 I highly recommend this place to anyone with a craving for those two items. 10/10

I don't understand why this place doesn't have a line around the block. This is one of the best places I've been to for Mexican food in the bay area. The Quesabirria on the weekend is top 5 of all time. My family and I have come in for enchiladas and other top notch dinner plates. Do yourself a favor and come eat here.

The Salsa does not have that kick and the chips are not warm but for the most part Everything is Always really good.

The food is delicious, especially the Birra plate. Birra is only available on Saturdays and Sundays.

The food is good, but I guess it's about who's there when you go. I went last week and got two burrito bowls. There was enough food in one bowl to feed two people (we had enough food for two days) with leftovers. (Both times I used the through the drive through). So, when I went back a few days ago, I only got one bowl for the two of us. This time, there was JUST enough for two people. I really wish I had weighed the bowls. Next time, I will.

Nice Taqueria. Multiple options as far as items and food. They have good Mexican food. I don’t recommend the grilled chicken but the asada/steak is good. They’ve added a nice touch by adding hibachi. Very rare you have this selection at a Taqueria. I have not tried the hibachi. Little on the pricey side but the menu looks amazing. I judge a Mexican restaurant by its tacos or burrito. That being said it’s definitely worth a try.

Got the Los Gallos quesadilla. It was merely okay, and the pico de gallo was lacking in flavor. The spicy salsa had a stringy piece of plastic in it. Overall, underwhelming.

Do you want some real authentic food and don't care much care about your health.. this is the place to go, real deal cheesy, meaty and not too expensive. Packaging could be better.

Just okay. The Al pastor was overly sauced, which means to me, they aren't making it in a way that really enhances flavor with the grilled pineapple on a spit. They were using sauce to mimick a good Al pastor, which it didn't seem to mimick it well.

I go to this place all the time, the food is good. However I went and ordered 2 burritos and a super quesadilla. When I got home I looked at the super quesadilla and I it filled with mostly sour cream and guacamole. It was soggy and the size of it was a size of a soft taco at Taco Bell. I was really disappointed cause this cost me almost $6. I don't recommend this super quesadilla to anyone.

Food is good, but ordered a burrito with pollo asado and got camerones and carne asada instead.

The food is good except for the beans that looks and taste served directly from a can. The bathroom is really dirty and dusty. The worst thing is the smell coming from toilet. Not really good experience. People working there were great but the atmosphere was unpleasant.

I ordered a super burrito steak, the meat was cold. I went 2 days later told the lady about the meat, she gave me a dirty look and told me that she can't do anything about it. I told her I'm not asking for refund but just make sure that the meat is hot she slammed the drive thru window. If you don't want to work don't work.

The drive thru is nothing like the original. Lengua dry. Horrible. The ceviche tostado was just pico de gallo and one shrimp chopped up. So sad when a restaurants wants to expand but cut corners to make it happen. Now my beloved Los Gallos is scarred forever.

First burrito was made incorrectly. Had to drive back and order a new one. They had me wait on the side for the new one for about 25 minutes. Turns out they never made the new one. So I had to wait another 5 min for a burrito. -_-

Bad experience. Charge too much for them not to give out proper food containers. Plus 4% card fee. Bit into their shrimp quesadia and boom lots of liquid came out and ruined my shirt. Took it back got a refund minus the card fee. I think I'll just stick to the other OG los gallos. Wonder why this place couldn't come up with their own unique name.

I called in to ask if there is menudo the lady says “yes” I go in only to find out there is no menudo no pozole, no kind of soup (even when it is listed on the menu) I am trying to decide what to order and out of the blue comes this man yelling at me over the window demanding that I make up my mind because they are about to close (even when their advertisement clearly states that they are open until 10:00 pm) it is only 8:44 pm It is very frustrating to have to deal with people that have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS whatsoever. That man was rude, long purple nails! I don’t think it is sanitary to have long nails when you are touching people’s food and if he wants to go home the owner should have a BIG ALL SIGN stating that THEY DO NOT serve food by 8:44 pm !!!!

The food was pretty gross in my opinion. The asada smelled fishy and looked so bland. My burrito was drowned in sour cream and guacamole. I’d never go back.

The lady named Gisselle tried to scam me today (February 2 , 5:24 PM) the lady was being clearly suspicious by repeating my order 3 times but jI didn’t think anything of it. i order the same burrito every time I come , and the price is always the same, so when I got to the window the lady says 15$, I ask “ are you sure this isn’t a super burrito it’s usually 12 dollars “ and she said no and continued to charge my card 52$. Luckily I got a notification from my phone and I told the staff and they clearly got super nervous saying “ we thought you ordered 4 burritos “ after again, she repeated my order 3 times already before , the same lady, she then offered me 4 burritos for free because she clearly got caught. there was no other people before me in the drive threw so she clearly thought she was slick. I will be calling the manager

This place has the worst customer service. Nothing but kids fooling around in the kitchen placing the wrong orders. Ive never had to repeat myself over and over just to get my meal. Don't waste your money or time here. With better management maybe this place might be worth it.
